A brilliant concept of shooting your friends to win. However, I don't know if I am doing it in the right way, as I am forced to make a character jump and then switch to the archer to affect to get a platform. 8/10

God, this is fantastic. The music, the graphics, presentation is all top notch. The mechanic is solid, the levels are well-designed, and I loved that each party member has their own unique tools -- my one qualm is that the controls are a little awkward. Some suggestions to alleviate that: - Automatically switch to a different party member when one dies - have A and S cycle to the party member to the left or right on-screen, or maybe even have one key to cycle them (like C or something).
Overall this is really, really good work. Congrats!
firefox_2018-12-02_18-57-10.png got stuck at this part
I love the game! only thing i didn't like was the controls, but i got used to them after awhile <3
Attracted by the great art style and surprised by the mechanic after played it. This game is closely related to the theme "sacrifice".Really love it! (A bit uncomfortable when switch the character)
Absolutely fantastic! The art and music are perfect for the game, and the levels are very well designed. Everything just feels really polished.
I agree that the controls are a little bunched together. There were several times when I was trying to jump, but instead my fingers were shifted up one row and instead I was randomly cycling through the characters instead.
But overall, that's a pretty minor thing. I really love this and it almost feels like it could be expanded into an even longer adventure if you wanted to.
The game is totally amazing! One of my favourite ones this time. I especially enjoyed the artworks, and the core mechanic (maybe it is not very creative, but it works:))
屏幕快照 2018-12-03 下午4.04.20.png
I love it, the similar thought what I thought but finish it very great. my thought is only one player but die can make for easy to complete.
really cool puzzle and level design and very amazing game. high level of completion levels and great pixel art. I really like the music and the 3 characters.
Fantastic idea, art and audio are great.
Really cool puzzle game! Mechanics and puzzles are just great, graphic is so cute and I love the humor :)
As for the feedback, I had the same point as @numeralien: There are more buttons than needed, switching would be easier with one button and when someone selected dies, it can automaticaly switch to another one.
I didn't finished it yet, but I will after some sleep! Great job!
This is a very polished entry, I enjoyed every aspect of it! The puzzles were satisfying and each hero played their part (with the knight mostly playing the role of punching bag). The music was good and worked well with the overall style of the visuals and gameplay. I appreciated the existence of a level select.
The cutscenes were polished and I enjoyed the ending. The biggest gripe would be that the controls are a bit much to get used too, but there isn't too much that can be done about that with this kind of game.
Overall I think you did a great job with this entry!
Didn't participate so I can't rate, but I wish I could!
Great use of the theme, attractive art, solid music and sfx, fun level design and interesting mechanics. Reminiscent of the Lost Vikings.
Loved the ending, it got a laugh out of me!
Amazing! music and art is spot on and the game play is fun. My only issue is the controls but other than that great game!
I REALLY love your game, in all aspects. Great, simple, crisp and beautiful pixelart (minimalistic in a good way). Great chiptune music (what did you use to make it? Curious).
I liked the concept a lot, but what I love the most is the order you presented the levels. A nice, nice, nice way to make a tutorial!
This game is brilliant! I adore everything, the sounds, the music, the graphics... The characters are very cute too.
I don't know if I am the only one but I feel the spikes's hitbox are too wide... But everything else is really fantastic! Great job!
Iloved it! 5/5!
Awesome level design! Cool mechanics! Porbably the best game I played so far in this jam, congratulations!
edit-
OMG, you're the guy from Super Dangerous Dungeon! Just realized now, no wonder why this game is so awesome! Greetings man, love your game! (:
Very cool design and the aesthetics are top notch. Really well fleshed out for a compo game. Well done.
My only complaint is that the keys are bit awkward. AD to cycle, W to jump and S, E or space to fight would have worked better imo.
The best game on the compo for sure (up until now but I have high hope for it  ). Really, music fits perfectly with an amazing pixel art style and of course, unique puzzle gamplay!
Hands down! :crown:
5/5 game! Good job!
- I really liked the graphics. - nice thematic character abilities - intresting puzzles that were definately theme based.
I love the visuals here, very well done. The music was good, but I'm not a fan of the generated sound effects. It's not specific to this game, just my personal preference in general. The mechanic was great, even though the controls were very tricky to adjust to. Overall, this is a great entry. Nice work!
Very impressive entry for the compo. It made me sad that the knight was never the solution to a puzzle :( He was there just to die! Really, this is is one of the best I've played so far and you nailed every category, congratulations :)
Big fan of your games and this one was super fun and well put together for the compo
Beautiful game, loved it! Such a nice take on the theme. It's like Trine but deadlier.
OMG this is great. Graphics, audio, design, theme, mechanics, everything is REALLY REALLY GOOD.
I may have simplified the controls though. Maybe UP arrow to jump and just one hero swapping button instead of 2.
Congrats on your entry!
Amazing game! I loved the idea, the art, and the levels. Really well done!! Can't wait to see it extended in the future!
so fun no joke you should actually turn this into a game!
This was wonderful! I loved the ending!
I hit a strange bug where the menu music didn't end when the levels started so I had both playing at the same time. It was really distracting and I thought I must have had something else playing music in another tab or something. A refresh took care of it.
Those were some great puzzles. I'll have to come back through it again and see how many levels I can beat without killing the other party members. I'm thinking there are some with some crazy jump/switch combos that are possible.
Everything about this was PERFECT. Bravo! My fiancee, who doesn't play games, saw me playing this and took over from me :D
Great game! Loved everything about it!
Great game. Very innovative. I let out a big hearty laugh when I got the point and the rogue got the pointy end. Clever level building too, pretty difficult puzzles in a good way. Loved the art too. Well done.
I really enjoyed playing this one. One of the ideas in our team for this LD was something similar to your game. In the end we decided to go for another idea but it's so cool you've done it so well and alone. Keep up the great work!
This is probably the epitome of a great game jam game. It's got a really tight focus, great style, and a really neat mechanic to build around that's really thematic. I started playing intending to try a level or two before bed, and ended up beating through the entire thing in one sitting. Great job! :)
My only complaint is that a few of the levels required very tight platforming, such that it was unclear if I was solving the puzzle incorrectly and needed to figure out a different approach, or just needed to execute better. It turned out that I did have the correct solution figured out, but I was just a few pixels off from where I was supposed to be when jumping, or throwing a corpse around as the knight. Once a player has the correct solution to a puzzle, it should be clear that they're on the right track.
One level in particular that I remember having trouble setting up properly was this one, where the mage had to stand almost entirely off of the platform, in order to hit the switch when thrown by the knight.

with friends, when we see the graphics and the concept, we though immediatly of the game "Trine" that we love it and... We're not disappointed about yours. The concept is different as it's only 1 player and it works very well with the differents mechanics on the differents characters. I can't rate 5/5 because to me, the perfection doesn't exist but your game right now is not too far ;) Great work !
Great entry! It reminds me of the lost vikings, which i loved. The pixel art and the audio are great. Also well thought out levels and sadly to few of them, but a lot for a jam ;)
Outstanding game concept!!! Very nice entry!! Congratulations!!!
Great game I love the art!
I really liked it! A lot of the puzzles were really clever. I think I might have solved some of them in unintended ways. It's always cool when a game's mechanics naturally give rise to multiple solutions. I do feel though that the level order could be tweaked a bit, as I found it to progress a bit unnaturally in terms of difficulty.
The polish was pretty good, but what blew me away was the fact that there was an animated ending cutscene. How on earth did you pull that off for the compo? Insane!
One of the best games in this jam i'm betting it'll be in the top 10 AT LEAST!
LD43 winner :) Awesome music, genius gameplay, tons of content and super fitting with the theme. One tiny thing that would improve the game a LOT to me, Knowing which level I'm. Other than that, 5/5 in everything. The Ending made me laugh :)
Beat the game all the way through! Brilliant concept, I like how cutesy the game looked and the cheesy ending despite how morbid the task was to get through each of the levels. Brilliant sprite art and very well polished mechanics.
I also found a few levels where I didn't need to sacrifice anyone in order to beat, so I assume there are more than one ways to beat some of the levels.
@ild-games-llc hey for that one, I think the intended solution is for you to arrow the knight to the wall then freeze him with the mage. Pretty neat you found a different way to do it
Fantastic game, nice level design and fantastic art. The mechanics are very interesting and the fact that you have to kill your friends to go on is funny, the final joke is brilliant. Personally I would have chosen another music but it's a really good job. Congratulations!
God! This was great! Like a better Lost vikings! Great tutorial levels showing of the mechanics!
Also I like that the mage can turn those already killed to ice cubes, it makes it alot more interesting
Awesome game overall, well polished & fun.
Superb! I just want more of it. Banging tunes (still listening to that sweet ending track as I'm writing this), sweet pixel art, what more could one want? Loved the ending too. The sound effects were the only thing that wasn't 100% awesome and you were a bit stingy with them. There was quite a lot of actions that had no sound at all which made them feel weird.
It this the actual intended solution? Seems kinda weird that the arrows behave differently on already dead comrades... tpk-huh.gif
And I know for sure this one isn't the intended way... tpk-fly.gif
Difficulty progression was a bit off and there were some levels next to each other that had the exact same solution. Even those samey levels would work if they didn't come right after the other. And the the difficulty curve doing a bit of a sine wave wasn't a huge issue either since it actually made the pacing feel nice since you didn't get stumped on every single level near the end. And the knights ability was completely pointless if you exclude the tutorial level. He was just there as a meat shield for the whole game afterwards. Well not really, he was kinda useful as a frustration vent when not figuring out the solution
Anyways, great job! Easily my favourite so far...
edit: Oh yeah, I actually worked on a game (that I never ended up finishing) with very similar idea couple of years ago but in it all the characters were the same and level varying amount of them had to reach the end.
Awesome game, I really love puzzle game and this one has not failed to deliver quality puzzling. The Graphics are awesome and the game is responsive. Very well polished although the music could have been better but I understand the time constraints. This could be turned into a full game with way more levels. Great Job!
Gosh, what an amazing job you did there. Loved the visuals, loved the audio... the gameplay as well... I only have 2 nitpicks: control scheme is weird (responsive, but odd setup), and those spikes are a bit misleading, it's not clear that ice cubes can pass through them, for instance. And the levels are so clever. God damnit!
It's the best game I've played so far, I can see this becoming #1 in most categories.
**somethings I've noticed that could be even better: - I feel like the order of the levels are a bit scrambled. There were one or two levels that were pretty easy in the second half of the game, it felt like they were trying to teach me the basics.
Cheers and congrats
WOOW ! The best game i've played so far ! I loved it ! Hope you will continue it after the JAM !
@ild-games-llc I did that level completely differently. Shot the knight guy to the right side wall with bow, then turned him to ice so he fell to the button.
@antti-haavikko @neipo13 It's totally possible that I did it completely wrong! :) Sounds like that might be the case hahah
Fantastic game, loved it.
Great concept, great execution. One of my favourites so far!
Beautiful graphic and fun gameplay. I really liked the mages mechanic and design. Awesome work.
well executed game. Love everthing about it. LMAO when i first time playing it and hitting the other hero..
Ok.. it's brilliant. Just it. 5/5 everything. Go and sell it and become rich..
nice art, music good, nice skill and interactions, just a brilliant work. well done
A coworker of mine had this to say:
[11:20 AM] The two minutes I just played of that game were far better than like 56% of everything I ever played on NES
[11:21 AM] Like, Deadly Towers probably took months to design, and those two minutes of that game were like 1000x more fun
Very nice, a good use of the theme to create puzzle elements.
Fantastic entry. grats
This was amazing - and so professional even the little buttons had their own animation...
This is a real little gem. Well designed, well polished, well animated, good sound. I went through the whole game, loved some interactions between the heroes' abilities, had a good laugh at the ending. Overall, loved it.
Got a little bug (I assume it's a bug since it's not needed to complete the game) where if you have a key down when you switch to another character the other character will get the input or the previous one will keep its input going (like keep walking even though you're not controlling him anymore).
Thank you very much for this little game!
Perfect. Thanks for your work.
This is so amazing! Im just baffled by the fact that you made this for a compo! This is such a polished game! Its beautiful and a lot of fun, love the concept!
@ild-games-llc When I did that level, I put the archer up there, froze him, then hit him with the knight. Then, I had the knight jump on ice-cube-archer and jump to the button. Then mage could just jump to the door.
This is a wonderfully-designed puzzle game that utilizes the theme very well. The graphics are great and go with the gameboy-like feel of the whole thing. I didn't expect so many levels but I enjoyed them all. This kept me playing longer than I expected. Excellent work.
This game, was amazingly well done. The art was beautiful, and the sounds fit perfectly. Great level design making you utilize all of the mechanics. Not to mention cool mechanics you learn via experimentation! Awesome ending XD
Beaut of a gem.
Only thing I found that might have been unintentional, (But I actually liked and might leave in). If you're running, say, to the right, and you swap characters, character 1 doesn't stop running till you let go of the button. It was actually really convenient for getting 2 characters across the map without taking to much time!
Makes me think of what it is like to play Trine with jerks, except you're the jerk, jerking yourself... Awesome entry, clever design the puzzle do a good job at using each character ability. The art and music are A+ The only for me was the control scheme which was a bit awkward but I guess in a non-jam environment it wouldn't get too long to get used to.
Genius!
Had no choice but to persist to the finish as I was hooked, and I'm glad I did!
The best game I've played this jam.
This is absolutly amazing! Exelent game!
@ild-games-llc I've tried to design every level so that there is always a main way of beating it that doesn't require pixel perfection, in this level, the solution is to shoot the knight over the button with the archer, then shoot the corpse with ice beam to make them drop on the button and open the gate. I had no idea your solution was possible! It's fascinating to see people come up with alternative ways.
@antti-haavikko Looks like I simply forgot to make arrows do anything with the corpses, that's why shooting them looks so weird.
I didn't have time to do proper difficulty curve, so I just designed 15 different levels quickly and tried to put them in some sort of increasing difficulty order.
Agreed that the knight turned out to be a bit useless. He had more utility in early build of the game, but late game change of making mage able to push ice blocks with his attack had unintended side effect of making knight's slash attack pointless. When I do a post-compo version, I'm thinking of making the ice beam unable to push ice blocks again so in some puzzles you have to use the knight to throw them around.
Absolutely amazing Jussi! Full marks!!!!!!!!!! I only had time to level 14, but I'll go again (and again!)
Hey! Awesome game mate. Really enjoyed playing it. Here's my feedback... * Music and sound effects were great * Art style was awesome * Levels were tight and well made * Progression was good... I felt challenged but had the feeling of "I figured that out" when I worked out each level * All the mechanics were used creatively * Would play again and recommend to others
Now you need to add more levels (if you feel like it) and put it out to the masses :P
I really love this game! Simply amazing what you did in just about 48hours. Graphics, Sound, Gameplay, everything is just great and fits so well together. I really enjoyed playing this, it was sometimes even quite challenging!!
I also found a funny little game physics exploit that enabled my characters to use real teamplay instead of sacrificing themselves 😁😇
total-kill-party-exoloit-3.gif
Beautiful! I love how you're not sure whether you got the "intended" solution to a puzzle, or found a new one.
OMG nice sacrifice to make
That was a fantastic game! I used the knight as pretty much an ice cube almost every time. I wish I had found a way for him to shine a little bit more. Great work!
This is the best entry i've played yet, everything is perfect, I love the concept.
I'm compeletly blown away by what you have created in 48h. Alone. It seems that you have made such a game before, because coming up with all this in 48h is totally crazy.
That said. Your game is awesome. Full points in every aspect.
The only things that could be improved are the controls. And maybe the usefulness of the knight. He is the victim all the time
Full points from my side.
You are really up to an awesome game. Please continue the work on it.
Wow this was made in 48 hours!? Nice work, puzzle games are deceptively hard to make fun! It had a nice Lost Vikings / Trine vibe too the puzzle design
@backurio This was definitely not my first puzzle platformer that takes place in the dungeon, so I knew what I was doing and that sped the development up, haha. The real challenge was creating the 3 different players with each of their own abilities, and quickly designing puzzles about their creative deaths.
This is a fun and interesting game. I like the puzzle part to sacrificing. Great Game!
Impressive! Loved the puzzles and art style. Keep up the good work!
What a great game! It is definitely one of (if not the) favorite game of mine I've played during this jam so far! Great graphics, the sound is fantastic, and the your integration of sacrifice is perfect.
This game is really fun and pretty 5 stars across the board to me. Sharing this jewel with my friends for sure. Congratz great game.
The HTML5 version isn't working right now. The loading bar gets to full and then the CDN throws an HTTP 500 error trying to load assets so the game never starts.
And for whatever reason, Stencyl thinks I don't have Flash...
And I'm a Mac user!
I wanna play this game. :( I'll bookmark it and come back when I get on a Windows machine for a while.
My favorite out of all I've played so far, I didn't get a single bug personally and had an amazing time playing this game!! Very well done!!
Really good. Only have minor nitpicks - the controls for switching were kind of awkward, and it would have been cool if the knight was more useful, but this has been my favorite entry so far! Loved the ending too.
This may be odd, but I really liked seeing the Knight's eyes in the last cutscene. Thought it was rather funny XP
haha, this is amazing. The last level is definitely my favorite, super clever! really nice art and music as always
Literally every part of this game is fun. It's amazing.
This was a really fun game, and well polished too! I really liked how the unique mechanics of each character interacted with each other. The puzzles were just the right difficulty.
the best game ever!! so much fun! i have os much to say about this game!
the graphics, art, music, sound effects, animations, etc. were epic
the best part is the mechanics. not only do you have to sacrifice your friends, but each friend has a unique attack and you have to use them to solve unique situations this is the only dungeon game i know where you have weapons that you only use on your allies XD
oh! but srsly! this was so good!
my only real complaint was the lack of WASD and a selection number for each character (1-3 instead of next and prev). but other than that, this game is fantastic! 5 stars all around!
EDIT: My fav part was playing back-and-forth catch with the frozen knight between the mage and the archer XD
Bloody hillarious
This is great! well polished, well made puzzles that explore the mechanics, good music and art. Found a little bug where if you hold down a direction and switch characters, both will be walking at the same time.
No real major issues with it though, great game!
Wow, a really impressive and thematic game. Finished it without thinking of stopping. How the hell do people find time for level design?!
five stars hands down, everything is perfect
Amazing works ! Just a little thing : the controls :{ ... Maybe my azerty keyboard doesn't help.
@elfunck I'm definitely changing the controls for post-compo version. Down arrow for switching characters seem to work well in my testing.
Loved this twisted version of The Lost Vikings, hahaha. Pretty funny and engaging, puzzles grow in difficulty and have some "aha" moments when you discover the mechanics of each character. It made me want more levels. Sure the controls are a bit weird, but you get the feeling fast. Thanks for this gem!
Awesome Game Well Done
This is awesome! I loved the cutscenes at the beginning and end, the effort really made the game stand out. Some awesome levels too, I got stuck on the 2nd last one for a while but eventually got it.
The amount of attention this game has gotten is already a good indicator what amazing amount of polish this has recieved for a Jam title! The graphics are obviously stunning, the puzzles are challanging without beeing obscure...there is actually little left to say.
Balancewise I thought it was a bit mage-heavy but at some point I realized that this was also somewhat dependend on my playstyle and many stages had multiple solutions.
As a lover of puzzlegames this was very enjoyable indeed =)
Incredible job for a jam game - having this many well designed levels in time is commendable and it fits the theme perfectly!
Really nice game!! The level design is so good! Congratulations!
that game is gon win
Great level and game design. My first 5/5 rating this LD.
I'll check your non-jam games too, they look great!
Short, but cool high quality concept proof game.
Amazing entry, I really liked playing it ! Graphics are amazing, music is amazing, gameplay is amazing !
I found a bug where you can infinite jump if you have an ally over your head (sorry if it already have been pointed out, there's a lot of comments over here )
Good job, and continue producing quality games like this one !
LD43.png
Really fun game! Well designed, great job pal!
Awesome. Everything is really neat and the puzzles are well designed and it's really fun to see those cute character killing each other. When I finished it I just wanted more. Great job !
Mmmm what art style
I love the art style!
<3
Brilliant game. Really enjoyed everything about it. The poor knight though :( felt like his only function was to die and he doesn't even get any treasure in the end!
I got quite a surprise when I killed my teamate for the first time, didn't read the description so it wasn't what I expected. Hahaha, quite long too. Well done. Very impressive length for a compo game! The level design is also very well done
Great game! Remind me three lost vikings, but without friendship... Want more!
Really fantastically produced and scoped game. The Level Design and character mechanics obviously have a lot of thought that went into them to have executed it so brilliantly. The level of polish and attention to detail makes this a really stand out entry, and it fit the theme perfectly.
This is the highlight of the Compo for me. Incredibly well done!
A very good one for have been done in 48 hours. 10/10 in all aspects.
Such a clever Game! love it in all the aspect!
Great game. Amazing even. Let's be real: This will make the top ten.
This was a lot of fun! :) Great job!
Came back to say that your game has inspired me to make a similar game! You did a really good job on this game!!! Love it.
I love how perfectly this game fits both the theme, mood, and the visual style you went for. It's a fun little game and was a delight to play!
Congratulations, incredible in several aspects!! =]
Fun, and very funny! Fit the theme very well, and I liked the music and graphics. The pixel art was the right choice for this :)
This is awesome, really great work.
A+ Entry, nice ending too.
That is amazing. Introduction to using the mechanics in a very organic way is great and ineradicable with the time restriction. It feels super polished and tested. I love the artwork so much. Was following the screenshots on twitter and so happy the game play was just as good.
Wonderful game that feels very polished. You managed to include an ending cutscene too, how cool is that?
Love the gameplay. Love the level design. Love the art. Love the music.
And to think you made it by yourself in 48 hours! For me, this is a perfect entry. Congratulations!
haha of course i would rate this game really high, i'm a huge fan of everything you do =) This game is really well polished for a 48 hours endeavour. Love your choices in design and in style, the color pallet is really pretty =) congrats man!
Amazing game with cool graphics
This is just and overall perfect game!
Thank you for this fun little experience!
The best entry so far and probably the best entry for this jam. I think you'll get a medal, you really deserve it !
Graphics and audio are very cute : perfect old school pixel style.
The concept fit perfectly to the theme and puzzle are all nice : not too easy, not too difficult. It was very fun to solve all of them. Nice ending as well !
Very impressive work, congrats !!
AND HE'S BACK!!! It was really fun to play, quite funny aswell :D Did you see my comment about how much I love Persist if by chance you missed it I can repeat myself hear. Btw I recognize the compositions of cg music anywhere, did you get a midi export and chiptunized it this time? My other theory is that you composed it yourself but cg music was your teacher, which one is true? :D
Really great game, a complete package :) Aside from feeling that the tutorial could be streamlined a little bit, there's not much that I'd change in here.
The amount of content and polish you managed to pack in this compo entry is amazing! It's a complete game that's challenging yet fun to play. Congratulations!
This is great. Very well done I very much enjoyed this entry! Great all rounder. Superb!
@verbante Thank you! Glad you liked Persist. It's been a while since I last participated in LD. The music is still CGmusic, just chiptunized with GXSCC.
Didn't expect to see the familiar logo when I was starting up your game, having 100%'ed three of your games on iOS before, haha. Awesome job on all fronts, especially for a compo entry! Good luck and hope to see you in more jams. :)
@coda-highland I have included Mac version to the download links now!
Really damn great game!Poor Knight was always the firs to die :(
Super good entry, especially for a compo game. The only thing I would like is to have some use for knight/knights ability other than being there for slaughter. I think that was little bit of wasted potential. But overall extremly good entry, one of the best I've seen so far.
Everything here is awesome, the graphics, the music, the gameplay. But the level design was AMAZING. I bet that party hates their mage :Ptpk.png
This is amazing, easily one of my favourites this LD. Level design is really clever and mechanics work so smoothly, music and art is top notch and the ending was really great. I hope I will see you next LD!
Amazing game
@naytron I also got a Lost Vikings vibe and I loved that game as a kid. The artwork was great. I got stuck on puzzle five but it looks like I'll be able to go back and try and not have to redo every level. Really well done and good ability choices. Puzzle games hinge on the mechanics and it was fun figuring out that I could use the knight to hit the archer on to the button.
Wow! :-) Greatness!
There's so many comments on this page praising this game! Great work on nearly everything! The theme fit well with the gameplay, the gameplay's well-polished, the characters well-designed, and the art style humorous yet adventurous.
My only complaint is that the jump and attack controls are a bit tricky to adjust to.
I hope this game gets a port soon!
Great game, I really love your idea and the execution is flawless. I love the ending too, nice message.
Great concept and art. I really enjoyed the puzzles some of them are really tough.
Amazing game. Loved everything about it.
Great game, I had a very fun time playing it !
I'm a sucker for these types of graphics, aesthetics, and gameplay. Absolutely love the retro look and feel as well as the simple animations. The puzzle progression is very well done and the game is easy to get going. Can this be turned into a mobile game? It be nice to play it on the go. Great job! :D
Characters are super cute!
Just stopped playing to say WOW! Ok back to it
Some polishing. tweak level design and grow this into a future steam purchase :)
Strong topic disclosure and great level design, also amused ending. Imo, u should swap on next hero after hero's death. Will w8 on mobile or pc with new levels and mechanics)
Great game, I loved the art, concept, and theme usage! However, I had issues beating level 3. Any advice anyone?
Wow this game is well polished in every corner! The only thing that makes me sad is that most of the time knight is just a stepping stone like in most of the RPG game
One concept I liked: The music was good. I liked how interesting and varied the main menu music sounded. It was sharp and clear. The music was very interesting and it supported the mood of the game. I liked that the main menu music was pretty long and it was not annoyingly extremely repetitive. I also liked the music in the levels because it was not repetitive and it fitted the mood of the game. I liked how the music in the levels have an interesting melody and I liked how other notes in the music support this melody.
One concept I did not like: I could not complete level two. No matter how much I tried, I could never get one of the playable characters to hit the lever. I strongly suggest to have player feedback be given during the creation of your games. This is because players play much differently than that of a developer as they do not know the game as well as the developer. Study your players and see what they are doing. Studying your players sufficiently will allow you to know what their thought processes will most likely be in the game, and this can help you design your levels in a fashion that will allow players to actually know how to complete the levels. Also, other than collecting player feedback, you could also help players learn how to complete the levels by giving players a video walkthrough or by giving hints during gameplay.
This game is so amazing. I thought immediately of Trine and Towerfall! The game mechanics are superb. Indication is: You can solve your puzzles on different ways  You can either shoot your heroes to a location with the rogue, smash them to make some ground or you just freeze and shoot them then to your desired location. The mechanics are simple to understand but you can combine them to achieve some great combinations of complexity to solve the puzzle - just pure genius. This is so much fun!
Nice! Really liked this game. 5/5 We found a bug where if you have another character on your head, you can jump infinitely if you tap the jump button :D
Great entry!
Obviously very good graphics and audio and it feels very polished and complete, but the underlying mechanics are very clever and fun too.
Has some bugs, but overall a good game. Love the background music and sound effects.
I didn't like the key controls (A S to change characters instead of A D or Q E).
Nice job. All around very good. I don't know if I was doing things right but it didn't seem like the knight did much but get killed :)
I don't really know what to dock you points for. It is extremely well made. The concept is brilliant and well though out. Great work!
WOW! WOW! WOW! I have no words to describe it! 5/5
Amazingly well-made little game and perfectly fitting for the theme! I made it through to the end without running into bugs or issues, and thoroughly enjoyed the puzzle aspect of solving each level. Great work! :)
Just brilliant!! Couldn't stop until I finished it and I had a blast doing so! I would love to see a follow up with more even more riddles and maybe even more characters. It's a strange funny dark humor feeling when you have to kill a party member that you've played a minute ago ...
A wonderful entry and a first one to give all stars on all categories
Wow... so many comments. So I guess telling you that this is a great game and awesome idea and that I love your games doesn't matter, does it?
What an amazing job. This is my favorite LD game **ever**. I even tried some experimental strats since the mechanics were so clean. Here is what I came up with:

This has probably been my favorite game so far. Level 14 was a little hard, but I did figure it out. I wouldn't be surprised if this gets first place!
This is fantastic - amazing job!
an amazing job once again -- my only complaint is the controls were not well placed -- thanks for making this game
Outstanding game! It has the whole game feel along with great graphics and audio that is great fun to play over many levels. The characters have cool abilities which allows for some awesome puzzling!
Wow, this game is super fun, one of my favorites so far. Very well executed, Kudos!
Good~!!! Game!!! 직업의 특성을 잘 살린 퍼즐 레벨디자인입니다. 대단하십니다~!
VERY GOOD!!111! i guess we have a winner here :^)
Great game!!!Good job :D
Really polished, well made platformer. I included it in my compilation video series of games from the Ludum Dare, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/Ow-xrYDXDFE
This game is awesome, I really like it, the best of all! :scream:
I love the artwork, sounds, music, all the game!!!
Wonderfu work, Is a jewel! :v:
Beautiful, good job!
Great little game! Wonderfully cute and well polished. Puzzles were fun and I liked how they were done in a way to build character. I started feeling bad for the knight before the end
Amazing game.
On the web build on itch, It was playing two songs at once for me and I had to refresh- might be because I changed tabs while it was loading?
Really loved this experience, great concept, great puzzles. I was able to beat level 14 without killing anyone just by having them jump on each other by quick switching and moving them mid jump. Which was pretty cool. - having like another meta challenge of keeping them alive is interesting.
This is amazing! Well made game in only 48 hours! With great concept art and 8bit retro style music and sfx. Level design is great combine with heros' abilities.
Whatever was wrong before, the HTML5 version is working now. That was a lot of fun. Very "Lost Vikings". Good job on the pixel art, and the audio fits nicely.
Very nice pixel art. Loved the idea! Puzzles were very fun
This game makes me very happy. I literally cannot think of anything to say other than good job.
The art here is really well done! Fun game overall.
Excellent submission ! The idea fits the theme well, and execution works without adding anything superficial. The impressive level variety makes for a very solid experience ! I feel like the only thing that could have been more fleshed out is the music, but all the rest - from game design to level design, character and everyronment design, is quite perfect for this scope !
Congrats !
This entry is amazing.. and it's actually a game! Very nice entry. Played until the end and enjoyed all of it!
Amazing game! I had a lot of fun playing it. The pixel art looks amazing, the audio is cool. Above all, the level design & game concept are awesome! And it fits the theme. Wonderful entry :D Congrats!
Definetly 5/5 for me! the mechanics were pretty cool, the controls felt just right and also very fun puzzles :)
It is a really nice mechanic that use the theme perfectly. You give three simple features that offers enough creativity to player to achieve each levels.
A pretty Game !
Wow this is a really cool game . i played the newsground version with the new levels and it looks very great :)
GREAT WORK !
Man that was great fun! My favourite entry so far, I think. Feels pretty complete and has lots of levels. Had a good length for the content it gave me. Most levels felt pretty distinct even though there weren't so many new mechanics.
Sometimes I found the timing to be a bit tricky for a puzzle game, but maybe that was just me not finding the intended solution and cheesing it in an overly complicated way, I'm not sure haha.
Flawless game. Unlike most games which don't really have a conclusion, this game nails it with a really cool ending and a really lovely message... until he comically ripped the paper apart :) I had a lot of fun with the puzzles in this game! Very well executed with a very strong retro feel in the music and graphics.
This is absolutely amazing. I can't praise this enough: Graphics, game mechanics, overall design, pacing, music, humor and even a fulfilling ending. Everything is polished to perfection! My first almost fully 5-star rated game in this LD.
I did have to subtract half a star for fun because some of the keys do not play well with international keyboards. For me it was Z which is next to T instead of at next to X as for everyone else. Fortunately I was able to jump via the up key. I usually suggest allowing multiple input choices, e.g. Y or X for jumping, WASD or Arrow keys for movement, etc. This is not even about different input schemes to choose from, just bind more than one button to the same action. Controller support would have been awesome, but I don't know if Stencyl supports it.
Another minor thing: I noticed you uploaded your HTML version to Itch, but didn't for the Windows version. You can also upload your sources there. That may help keeping all your stuff in one place and avoid confusion in lazy people (aka me) ;)
Overall I think one of the best games I've seen so far. Kudos!
I love puzzle games!
Great jam entry with super cool levels, not too easy, not too hard, not too long. very good balance of everything. great music, sound and look. Very good job!
Great game and lots of fun, although there's a bit which was quite tricky and required immediate switching between party members. Was also playing two songs and I had to mute one of them.
This is great! A lot of retro-styled Ludum Dare games have quite grating music and/or sound effects (including my own!), but the sound design in this game is absolutely spot-on. The graphics are great too, you've nailed the 8-bit aesthetic IMO.
I'm disappointed with myself for not being able to get further than Level 6, I wanted to play more of this!
Wow, that's a lot of comments. Regardless, fantastic little game. I loved it.
Beat the game, fantastic overall! I didn't know how to solve the second last stage, but the bug highlighted in the previous comments help me beat it. Some of the levels I wasn't sure if I beat them "properly", since I had to be quite pixel perfect in some of my solutions.
Amazing game, congratulations! One of my favorite game of LD43
Aww man I felt really bad for the knight. But that was a super fun game... short but sweet. I was really getting into it when I got to the end. I suppose if my desire was for more game, you guys did an incredible job with the level mechanics and all that.
The music was nice, the puzzles were a bit easy, in my opinion, and I would've loved to have some function for the knight, maybe things that need sword slashes that the others can't break, etc.
I think it is one of the best game of the LD43.(°∀°)ノ
The most fun i had with a Jam Game till now. The simplicity of the mechanics combined with the cute artstyle really sells it. Leveldesign is really good and challenging enough to keep me wanting even more and i bet it was a blast creating the levels. Great job!
Super fun game :D Love the graphics too!
I was bored so I made a concept art of a fourth character: FourthPlayerGuyConceptArt.gif
When I saw the perfectly polished pixel look and feel, I felt immersed! If you continue to develop this, in the second level with the wall of spikes, when I kept running into the spikes and restarting the level, I felt discouraged.
Really good compo game! Looks and plays well, and has a large amount of levels considering it was made in 48 hours. Found a bug where you can jump infinitely if there's a frozen guy on top of your character. I wish the knight had a purpose in the puzzles other than being fodder for the other two.
OMG, ending is so satisfying!
Awesome! I played it to the end and had fun all the way! This is a really good work that fits my taste.
Great puzzler. My only issue is the background music. Everything else is brilliant...
Ok, wow. That was great! Sweet graphics and gameplay. I mean just.. Wow, best I've played in this LD.
I didn't play or rate it, but I think posting links to post-compo versions is cheating and should be disqualified.
This game perfectly fits the theme, and is probably one of the most unique I have seen for Ludum Dare 43.
I think this is pretty darn close to a perfect compo game, if there ever was one. The music, the graphics and the atmosphere is fantastic! The theme is implemented very well. And the amount of good, short levels is fantastic for an LD entry. Very solid! Awesome work!
Played and rated the WebGL compo version. Great job! The puzzles weren't fiendishly hard but were enjoyable to think through and execute after planning a solution. Fun!
This looks really good! made it to the 14th level before I stopped! I can't think of anything bad about this game. I personally think this could go much farther after the jam is over!
Amazing game! I really like the graphics. Music and sound effects are nice too! Perfectly fits the theme! Great job! :D
Just tried the game out now and I am really impressed! Very well polished graphics and controls with nicely crafted puzzles. You even managed to squeeze 15 levels in there in just 48 hours! Congratulations on the good ratings!
Loved the mechanics! I just could't stop until I ended it! ;-) Nice audio and graphics too!
total party kill - that is an interesting game. I guess that Total party kill and [Stickman Boost](https://stickmanboost.io) are the amazing games with entertaining graphics, and are simple to understand
