It was really a fantastic entry. It feels like Ittle Dew meets The Lost Vikings with really clever puzzles. The graphics seemed a bit weak on the screenshot but it works better in game with the animations. The sound and music was nice too.
I picked up a useless present and i didn't know if i could discard it or if i had to give it to a kid even i they wouldn't like it. Otherwise it's an original concept that's really well made.
This was a really fantastic experience, very original and the game feel was great. I got stuck somewhere and I think it was because the lock opening animation began and I inadvertently switched screen so I lost the key and the gate stayed closed, but maybe I'm not sure, maybe I'm just missing something. Didn't affect my notation anyway because the game is really good. I would totally play this on a longer format.
It was a really enjoyable platformer. The levels you have to go through backwards was a really nice twist. I encountered some collision bugs but nothing too frustrating.
Interesting and very well made. It feels a lot like a standard 32-card game, where you inspired by one in particular ? It reminded me of the Manille but with 2 players only. I feel like it would be more strategic if you could not cut if you still have cards of the color/race like in the manille.
Nice use of the theme, but I must agree with the other comments mentioning the frustrating side.
fun little puzzle game. Maybe i'm stupid but i found it really hard and didn't get past the level with 4 red demons. Still enjoyed it.
Not the most original but still fun and very well polished.
Fun simon style game! Three different possibilities seemed a bit little but the graphics and music are nice.
I restarted the game a few times before understanding how to do things. I probably needs to explain why stuff happens like when you want to "create" a baby and you have no pigs have a message that says you must have a pig. Other than the confusion, this was a nice town management game.
That was fun and enjoyable. The bindings are not optimal for a french azerty keyboard but I managed :D Nice music and retro vibe.
Really great concept and use of the theme. It took me a while to figure out what was going on but once I did it really did feel clever and deep, as much for the gameplay and the story. Really original concept.
really nice little platformer. I've seen this concept a few time already during this LD but this one was well made and fun to play. Cute drawings.
this was very stupid but quite fun. The voice sound effects were funny but annoying after a while.
fun little iddle game with a twist
Fun game and diverse gameplay. It is really unplayable with a keyboard though, especially during the first phase, no way to remember the ABXY bindings in such a short time. But great fun with a gamepad.
Really nice and original concept, it took me a few tries to really understand what was going on but then it was quite enjoyable
Really nice concept but i ended up loosing a lot without really understanding why.
I died pretty quickly at the beginning and when i restarted the enemies didn't do any damage to me, which made the game pretty easy :D Also I went to the right in the village and fell in a bottomless pit :/ Nice little game otherwise
Really nicely polished game. Interesting mixed between classic gameplay and original concept.
Nice little platformer. Big "Thomas was alone" vibe that I really like :) Collision with henry was a bit buggy and i couldn't move henry at the level with the spikes maybe I missed something...
Thank you for your comments!
@raziyya here's the specific code if you're interested : https://github.com/tornoz/LudumDare43/blob/master/source/minigames/Pentagram.hx#L125 basically it checks every pixel against 3 PNGs containing the reference drawings to check what drawing was the player trying to make and attributes a score for the bad/ok/nice/perfect rating.
@rolly that's quite good! I didn't have time to balance the score like I should have and the sacrifice minigame counts waaay too much compared to the octagram drawing, so that means you mainly nailed that part.
This is the best entry i've played yet, everything is perfect, I love the concept.
Not the most original but still very well made and polished. Fun game!
I spent way more time than I should on this :D I didn't find it too easy and I lost on my first try (medium) but maybe I'm just bad.
Very original concept and the execution is so clean and polished. Great entry.
The control confused the hell out of me but I like the concept! The gam was quite laggy on flash.
Nice take on the falling object game. I like how you have to manage both the shield and the water although I was a bit confused at first, changing the player's sprite to show it carries the shield or the bucket would have helped.
Nice atmosphere with the sound design here. I enjoyed the crafting. A bigger map would have been nice :)
Simple but effective shooter. The music was nice but some sound effects would have been even nicer :)
Interesting take on the space invader genre ! Very well executed.
Strong entry! I like how you managed to find so many level ideas with a simple concept.
