Game does not give my chance to stabilize after first rock. Is it so hard or I do not understand controls? Astronaut is very cute.

It is difficult to monitor the NPCs and inventory at the same time. And I could not rearrange inventory via DnD. How is this done properly?

There is not enough opportunity to shoot just having clamped the mouse button.
And the weapon recharge seems to me superfluous in such games, imho. I removed a recharge in my game at the earliest development stages for more jun.
Perhaps, once you make visible area not on center, and to show more in front, and less behind player. It will force the player to be turned and look around more.

Good game but I cannot call it "relaxing" :) The game makes you spin and keep moving.
HTML5 build works fine in fullscreen mode for me.
Is it possible to collect all the coins in the beginning? :)

Wow, you make the game with a core mechanic which very similar to my game ("Oh no! This is monsters!").
I liked the menu made through character movement. And the music fits well to game.
Bug? The death screen preserves hidden border and powerups from game field, which look very strange.

This is funny and cute arena game with a great music. For now, the game feels unbalanced, but it has all the opportunities to develop. Special thanks for the AZERTY keyboard layout (I don't need it, but care of players is visible. And it is cool).

The atmosphere of game is interesting, but the controls is too uncomfortable.

I'll prepare update with performance and small gameplay changes in near feature (with a different URL to stay within the COMPO).
@winnie33 Big monsters (I call them "guard of portal") are invulnerable. They die only when their portal is destroyed. Their task is to protect they own portal as goalkeepers in football. You understand the strategy - this is a key :)
Guns can be changed by 1/2/3/4 keys or mouse wheel. But you need ammo for use all weapon except the pistol (it has unlimited ammo).
And yes, game can still be balanced. Thank you for playing and feedback!

@guardhei I experimented already with the shooting recoil feedback and throwing off enemies when hit. But I did not get a good result. I will continue the experiments.
@reuno This is my first fast experiment with Bosca Ceoil. I'm very surprised that many people like the result :)
@fenderbate I have changed version of game with different balance and some other updates. But I cannot update public version for Compo rules. So I will publish this version in a few days by different URL.

@detectivelosos Thanks for testing! The absence of friezes now is the most important thing :) As for the difficulty, I have complaints about both difficulty and simplicity. So, I want to add a difficulty button in main menu. I can mention you in the future, when such a version will appear.
This game reminded the "Hunger games" :)
This game is too hard for my fingers :) After 300+ score I am tired. May be better to add some different controls for changing fingers during play.
Wow! Good game with interesting approach to turn-based mechanics (for me). Music fits well to gameplay. But enemies sometimes too silly :)

Good game, one of the best for today. How many achievements of all?
Obstacles appear immediately in the upper half of the screen and I immediately take damage without a chance to dodge :(

Resource (wood, fuel, time) control doesn't look easy after 30-40 seconds from beginning :)

Pretty good music and player & heart graphics, but all the rest isn't good (
Oh, those pop-ups! At the worst possible moment :) It's amazingly what you did do it on time. This game contains a lot of small things and has smooth fast gameplay.
Very inconvenient control (K/L, W/S), but it was interesting to play anyway. Special thanks for mechanic of fire when you go to the lower platform :)
He he. Another game about servers, like mine :) But you process every bit by hands, what requires a fast reaction. 48 is my best for now, but I want to try more. I like this game.
Wow! I like this game, because I felt tension when playing. Music fits good, I remembered old id Software games. But, I think, enemies are very easy.
@chloeofarroyo, what do you mean by "it was stuck on shooting"? Stacking is a gameplay mechanic not a bug. You should build layer-cakes of tech different types to save money and build good protection.

@lcstark, thank you very much for good detailed response :) There are some bugs in code unfortunately, as I see. But I want to fix its after COMPO in order not to break the rules. Or I'll make a second version.
@@drevilbrain, a lot of malicious traffic in beginning of game is ok. It's has low bandwidth and almost not dangerous for player usually. The "fun" begins in a couple of minutes :)

I did it special during work on game balance, but I think now it's too cruel for players. First minute is much more easy then following. You can "win" after first minute if you don't spend all money. 1-2 small buying - it's ok. Spend all - you lose. I understand, what it's bad game mechanics. But it's a compo jam :) I was short of time for better mechanics. I want fix it in the future.

Yes, money updates by timer every 300ms :) I will think about feeling of it.

@frenchie, game balance wasn't done in time. I worked a lot on it but result isn't good. Firewall passes through all legal traffic and blocks only flood. Did you see something other?

An interesting implementation of the theme. Hand draw images and simple light/shadow shaders from the sun make beautiful picture. But is gameplay a bit hard?
Ha ha! It's good LD game. I remembered old Hamsterball with same mechanic. Scene with presses and small barrels was the hardest for me (presses prevent looking ahead). Very, very positive 10-15 minutes today. Thanks)
I like this idea and mechanic. But control is too hard the allotted time :) Sometimes player is stuck in power coils and wasting time.
May be if you increase time limits the game would be more fun.

Inverted A/D controls confuses a little. And may be be better, if desired resource would appear more often.
At the beginning of the level, before the first jump, the character freezes in a almost-T-pose and cannot aim correctly. This takes a few precious seconds. And in general there are some pointing problems with the camera. But it was fun to spend some time listening to such music (too loud).

I want to try this game, but can't.
The menu is nicely integrated with the game.
I didn’t immediately realize that you could "collect" enemies in your comfort zone. I tried to jump over them within the comfort zone :)
The first impression is that this is a fast platformer where you need to have time to react to the zone. In reality, it's almost a leisurely, measured walking simulator.
One of the bugs is that the comfort zone does not always follow the player. Often I had to go back for it to start responding to the player’s movements again. Or hit my head or against the walls, which also “repaired” the zone movement.
And music. I really didn’t want to be outside my comfort zone. It's cool.
Cute visuals, cool melody and funny laugh. But the game is too easy and short. The game is easy to complete without understanding why a list of collected monsters is needed at all...
For now the best score is 97 collected coins for 341 second :)
A robot with a dead battery that permanently blocks the cell is a fun follow-up to the jam theme.
bug: you can throw objects (boxes, belts, ...) during the animation and then they end up not in the cell, but between them, which breaks the map a little.
I liked the mechanics of creating new items from existing ones.
But yes, in the Web version, the robot’s movement is unpleasantly slowed down.
I got three batteries by just leaving the game running (with starting position without power supply) and then recycling all the robots in the factory :)

It's original implementation, but input is VERY buggy. I had to fight with the controls/hitboxed, not the logic of the game. For example, blue shooter was unhappy only in lower left corner(!)

The block stops going where I point. Instead, it goes in the other direction or teleports somewhere. Sometimes enemies just disappear on their own... Is this logic that I don't understand, or a bug?
QTE mechanic looks similar to mine for dodging enemies :)
It was not immediately clear what needed to be done. It seems that if it weren't for that thrown color not disappearing, it would be clearer.
And, if I understand correctly, this is a game without the possibility of winning?

Not as simple a game as it might seem at first glance :) Everything is fine, the colony is developing, and then enemies come - and now you have an empty cave. Easy to learn and difficult to master.
Very nice visual style. Green blocks with bots are now my favorite :) It’s just that there is not enough information in pop-ups, so much energy is needed to dig.
The music is simple and captivating. More suitable for a graphic novel or other measured gameplay.
Before the video, I didn’t realize that bots can be sent outside :)
Web version looks broken at all: weird sound, fullscreen is not working, wasd/arrows are not working too :(

Some levels contain wrong ways, and it's cool :)
From other games with the same mechanic this variant is different with nice graphics (rotating rects on background are my favourite), completed levels, and has no bugs :)
The game looks interesting for me. But, unfortunately, almost non playable with bugs.
1. After entering to the shop I can't leave it. Every time the game returns me back to show :) There is only one solution - F5. But after three tries I have no new slots for a game. And I have no chance to exit from shot... Selection_498.png
