Great idea and implementation of the theme(voices in background make it so much better). Jumping was well balanced challanging the player but not making me rage quit after falling 3 times from the same spot. One thing: character doesn't follow the mouse direction for shooting. Overall solid entry.
A lot of fun, tempo is challenging but slow enought to keep up, great work :)

Despite still dying from not landing, and wanting to destroy my keyboard, the game is quite fun. I like the neonish pixelish graphic style. Also in the game where you die so often, the after game procedure should be shortened to the minimum. Later I found out that restarting your game is faster than waiting for it to revive me. Overall solid entry.

Music suits the game pretty well, also camera shakes quite satisfying. It's pitty you didn't finish the boss fight, but all the other creatures were pretty original :D

@fractal I don't agree on moving diagonally because that would change the game, but UI really needs to be reworked. I have seen also other people not knowing where to spit, so that could be changed too... Thank you, for your feedback :).
Good point, but the worst thing is I can't change any of these simple issues until the gamejam ends... :D
@jonno I like the concept but the project is very messy and would need reworking from scratch, so not yet

I see you have trouble controlling the ball :(. The closer you click the stronger the push is. Try doing more smaller pushes further away from the ball.
You should add diagonal animaion or remove the diagonal movement.
Gameplay feels smooth. Nice art. Could be some more levels.
Game looks very nice, especially the particles. The sword swing feels a little bit off.

Cute graphics. I like the feeding meet to this weird thing in the middle mechanic. The pickup-attack area od the alien bat could be bigger.
