This is really solid game. Very good idea and good work for a game jam. 10/10

kuviman 2019-10-07 00:40

Really well executed, but playing this game is a lot of work :)

foolishfire 2019-10-07 07:08

Very nice job! Definitely unique and I love the sound and visuals, especially with the camera panning around the office. Typing out each word feels a bit much for the what you get in return.

zwodahs 2019-10-07 07:12

awesome, not quite sure how to view this, innovation 5/5

corrade 2019-10-07 07:35

The use of Twitch is stunning, but the level of polish in the graphics and audio is also incredible. I'm floored by this entry.

It'd be nice to have a list of all the commands instead of waiting for them to cycle through. The camera panning provides a welcome dash of variety but sometimes hides a player's balance or income. Maybe a chatbot with commands like !balance would help.

blint6 2019-10-07 07:36

Great idea for sure, respects to you for going not traditional! I like the graphics, the sfx is simple but works. I would have loved an audio background track to fill up the atmosphere with a cool mood. Still, good job!

congusbongus 2019-10-07 08:48

Oh man this is so interesting! Great idle game!

okkolobr 2019-10-07 08:49

I just told my buddy at the end of compo : next time, I'd like to do something with twitch. Love your idea, great game !

n-one 2019-10-07 08:50

I really love the concpet and how its made, 10/10 game really! I would playe more if I could

darylsteak 2019-10-07 10:53

This was really interesting. I really liked how it was a game done in Twitch of all things! The fact that it is multiplayer also gave me a slight sense of teamwork and unity when I looked at the 'LD45 earned' counter.

The audio was also pretty good, nicely capturing an office atmosphere.

Not much gameplay, but as expected of an idle game. Great job!

coachsisyphus 2019-10-07 10:56

awesome idea and execution!

nachtwitch 2019-10-07 14:48

Really cool graphics there

baturinsky 2019-10-07 14:59

Me: how do people get so many point? Game: "pros write a bot". Best score for humor from me so far.

0xkalle 2019-10-07 15:04

Thank you all for your comments. I noted suggestions for a post ludum dare version. :) Thanks also for that.

@Baturinsky : The crazy thing is: Till now there is only one bot. Some where there for several hours while I were developing typing (and copy pasting) words by hand!

brtek007 2019-10-07 20:00

Wow, that is some good use of twitch!

mrpiedpiper 2019-10-08 08:51

This was really cool. Great idea, and you executed it really well. Great for practicing typing  Great job!

squid109 2019-10-08 11:32

Honestly cant stop playing its so fun and really well executed

zimennik 2019-10-08 14:58

Oh wow! Awesome idea! That moment when I see myself on the screen =)

wansou 2019-10-08 17:59

Its a really cool game, i like how you made it so you can play it on Twitch! loved it!

tmullet 2019-10-08 22:47

I have no idea how you got this done in 48 hours. Brilliant.

paulhocker 2019-10-10 03:42

well done -- i hope more games are made like this in the future -- great work

porocyonak 2019-10-10 04:47

dude this is wicked, very creative! good stuff

keppu 2019-10-10 08:35

Nice to see Twitch integration explored with this theme. I think this is executed really well. Overall atmosphere is satisfying and I like the fact that audio is minimalistic. Only echoing keyboard clicks are heard from the environment. It gives more room for the coin sound, that acts as a satisfying player feedback. Graphics are solid and I like the toned down color palette.

I wonder what is the maximum player amount that can play this game at once? Have you stress tested it?

0xkalle 2019-10-10 08:47

@keppu No, I have to admit that I did not test it. I am still waiting for it to crash because of to many players. :sunglasses:

keppu 2019-10-10 11:29

@0xkalle Well, that would be a positive problem wouldn't it. I bet eventually your game reaches that game crashing popularity.

0xkalle 2019-10-10 12:52

@keppu would be cool :dark_sunglasses: , but currently the popularity is decreasing a bit.

coffeedrinkers 2019-10-11 19:40

Sir, you got my mind blown... Definitelly will check you source! :) Great work and entry!

krisdev 2019-10-12 11:06

Innovation 5/5 dude wtf :D

lexyvil 2019-10-14 04:08

Very innovative! I love seeing these interactive Twitch games.

karanveer 2019-10-18 08:47

Wow I like the way you integrated twitch within the idea..Loved it..and pretty neat. Good work!

0xkalle 2019-10-18 10:16

Thank you for all you feedback again. After the ludum dare voting phase I will release the post LD version which in cludes new things to buy, more offices, and will also make it harder for scripters.

All your feedback is in this next version, so thanks for that again.

vlandemart 2019-10-20 17:26

Wow, that is a genius idea. This is the first time I see twitch game on LDJam.

Great work

deathstorm 2019-10-25 05:43

A very cool game idea and I like the approach for a Twitch Game as a LD Entry. The game looks already "finished" in first place. Maybe some more content for late game or a good motivation for players to keep typing, because after a certain point you will not type anymore only let the game be the idle game which it is in the core.

But overall a nice Game, very well done.

0xkalle 2019-10-25 07:20

@deathstorm thanks for your comment.

Yes you are totally right with that. I already prepared a relatively big update which I release after the voting phase. Still the typing might not be worth enough, still. We'll see. :)

0xkalle 2019-10-29 21:51

Thank you so much for the ratings everyone!!!

elysiagriffin 2019-10-30 02:36

Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my livestream! I played it today in the last few hours of voting :)

If you’d like to rewatch the playthrough, you can find it here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/501424047?t=2h18m31s

Hope you got some valuable feedback on your game and looking forward to seeing you next LD jam if I dont catch you before then! :D

0xkalle 2019-10-30 06:57

@elysiagriffin Thank you very much for playing it :)

Good to be able to observe someone playing it for the first time. The main difficulty is the "long"delay I guess. So you do not get instant feedback in the jam version. In the post jam version this changed.

We'll see how far TwitchPlays games get (not this one but the category in general) as it has potential, but also some restrictions (because of the delay and the screen size).
