Loved the dynamic music and character design!
Great game with super fun puzzle mechanic. My feedback would be to make spikes smaller in size (maybe make everything smaller) since it doesn't affect the puzzle solution but helps prevent random deaths caused by a lack of precision from the player. My least favourite levels were the ones where you had to be precise. But the rest were really good and I had a lot of fun. There is a good potential for a puzzle game here.
Sick game! Good balance of action and planning out your ammo usage. Game feels great, it's pretty damn funny as well. Great job!
Great multitasking experience! I usually suck at these types of games but difficulty wise it's pretty balanced, very much manageable, beat it on the second try.
Driving the car and drifting was very smooth although there was some things I didn't like about the battles: 1. I wish I could hold the shoot button, instead of spamming it 2. Aiming ahead of the enemy felt off though maybe Im just not used to it 3. The fact that the cart behind you blocks the bullets
Otherwise sick game, that's a lot to be done in 72 hours.
I like a lot of graphics in this game, especially cute looking mice characters.
Took me some time to understand how to play. The minimalistic visuals look nice and the gameplay feels good too.
Quite a relaxing experience. Difficulty is right on point, I'd say. It has a bit of randomness to it, since you can't see where the fish comes from, but it's not a big deal.
I liked the polish of the game: particles, glowing etc. The shooting is quite satisfying. Sometimes I couldn't see my character as he is the same size as the shuriken and has the same outline, so something to differentiate it from its projectiles would be nice although it doesn't matter as much in this game since you can't take damage. Played till day 69 (nice) and enjoyed it quite a lot. +1 shurikens is op.
The most fun game I've played so far this jam. The vehicle handling is perfect, there was never an instance of not being able to dodge something, if I took damage - that was my own fault. The idea of the yellow stuff being the resource for both me and the enemies is what made so fun I think. Great mood on top of that. Very nice!
Great idea to use plants as a means to change the environment for the next seeds. Controls feel good although sometimes I would plant myself in the tile that I didn't plan for, had to reset. Had a lot of fun playing through it!
I enjoyed the mood of the game and the ways it lets you explore via flares and ropes but would much rather prefer the free camera. (Also making a 3d game in gamemaker for a jam is impressive, don't know how actually hard it is, never tried it)
This is a really fun game! You nailed the interactions like smashing and shaking perfectly, and on top of that a bunch of funny voiced dialogue to listen to. One of the best games I've played so far this jam. The voodoo boys are hilarious!
I could imagine playing the game longer after it ended. Harvesting wheat feels satisfying, I like that glow shader effect on it. Upgrades are good, they give a good sense of progression and everything is useful. I could see this game expanded into something bigger, for example adding endlessly generating fields many more upgrades. The movement felt a bit weird though.
Had great fun reading through the death book and figuring what I need from who, laughed at some unexpected details when got them organs wrong. Great visual style.
Like the artstyle! The first 3 levels were quite easy, level 4 skyrocketed in difficulty for me. The backspace is indeed very handy.
Such a cute game. The art is amazing. You nailed the vibe really well!
Great take on the theme! The game is pretty simple once you figure it out but very polished and easy to understand. Good job.
Head-bagning sunflower is awesome. Wish the levels were longer!
I really liked the vibe of the game, certainly made me relax for the time playing. Taking photos and getting a rating is a cool mechanic, much more interesting than just collecting a number of items.
This is quite a transcendent game. I liked the handling of the car, feels good and challenging enough. Could use some wacky animations and sounds for the cows, would greatly expand the experience with not much work.
This is a very good-looking art. Great colors, all the ingredients look very juicy. Beat the game the second try, sometimes it felt like the click on the ingredient wasn't proccessed or something when I tried to click on them fast, that's what caused most of the struggle. A well-made game all around: great sounds, art, mood. I wish there was no 10 second theme to see how far the complexity of the sandviches could go.
Artwork is really good. Some sounds, just very basic ones would benefit this game a lot. I kept ending up in the trash, don't know why, seems like I've been doing every task.
Great idea. I didn't really like the very slow movement speed, some more faster-paced gameplay would go a long way with this idea probably. The music fits the game a lot, I liked it.
At first I thought I would be too hard to figure out the exact time offsets for each floor but it was actually not that hard and that was fun. Great sounds and music.
Liked the ambience and the mood of the game. Unfortunately my game froze when I found one of the coordinates and pressed S. Pressing the buttons and removing the previously created layer of information automatically would be more convienient, unless the inconvience of the space ship was a part of the design.
Really like the minimalism in this. Looks great in its integrity, nice style. The transitions between level are awesome.
I liked the cute artstyle and sounds. As someone said, the game could have some balance improvement. I had a lot of money, but had to wait everytime to spend 3 coins at a time. Some more powerful and costly options would help a lot.
Solid endless runner. I like the color palette of the game and the fancy animations. I also like how the music changes when move you up/down. Pretty hard to see what im shooting though. Maybe bigger bullets and some changes to the aiming system would help. Flying felt good.
Great artstyle and atmopsphere. Gameplay could see more improvement though. I couldn't understand how to tell if the zapper was going to zap me had no idea where to go after I picked it up. Some direction would be helpful.
Edit: oh they probably zap every 10 seconds, right.
Very engaging puzzle game! Delay the inevitable level was good, got me trying to beat it for a while. Graphics are simple but everything looks nice together. I think you could make this mechanic into a full game, it is fun.
At first when I saw the first level I was like "No way you can control this chaos let alone design interesting levels for such mechanic". And I was so surprised and engaged with how fun it became. Then when I got to tome of canceling I thought "Damn that was fun, nice game" and then a new chaos appeared and everything repeated again. Great game and big plus for the story art.
Setting in the bathtub was a great idea, the graphics and the mood are also very good. Just maybe the gameplay could be improved, the boat doesn't need attention for the a big part of the game and when you get to big waves at about 100 score everything falls off inevitably. Otherwise a very beatiful looking game.
Hey I saw your game on stream. It was a blast, I really wanted to play it myself but it's just black screen for me after the splash screen of your team. If you fix it or create a web build could you ping me? I would check it out.
The best implementation of the theme I found yet. Smiling surroundings are very cute, they make a great atmosphere. Also it's well-balanced, the game is never unfair but requires attetion. Very well done!
I liked everything about this game: the graphics, the gameplay and the atmosphere. Would have played it even longer if it had more different panels. The style for the existing ones is amazing. I only wish that the panels wouldn't close permanently but instead just for the current day. It would keep up the challenge for the later days, instead I only had to manage two which isn't that hard and doesn't produce much power. Good job on the game.
That's a very clever idea for this theme. I liked the challenge and almost finished it twice but couldn't beat the part at the finish. Music and sfx are great, the transition from failed attempt to a new one is sweet. Maybe I'll give it another try to beat it later.
Very fun mechanic! I like that there are different tactics that you can use on diffrent road structures. Sometimes its better to take it slow and sometimes you should just rush and pray to catch back any papers you can.
Great atmosphere! I also like the monster's design. Maybe im wrong but I think I had a bug in my first playthrough where I was stuck in the same room no matter which way I would go. When I did another attempt everything was fine.
Great work on creating such atmospheric game in such a short time. Really liked the water physics. Something about jumping from wall to wall was off for me but maybe that's good cause that's why it felt like a good challenge when escaping from that moscuito.
I think some progressive challenge like different enemies would be nice. Right now it's a bit too monotonous. I liked the fight dynamic though.
The japanese voice acting is out of this world. Super funny. Good use of the theme. Well done!
Good game. I liked the atmosphere and the graphics. Good job on the interiors.
Oh, a fellow nuclear reactor game. I very much enjoyed your atmosphere. The tasks were clear and difficulty was just right to make everything in time and not get stuck anywhere. Still I had 1 panic moment. Well done game.
I liked that you have various kinds of interactions with objects on your way so you always try to get the fastest one for each obstacle. The challenge the game gives is very balanced too.
I got a funny bug where you could run on air for some time :) ะฐัะฐะฟะฝะพะฟะฝะณะพ.png
Pretty fun game. I liked the wine physics and the ambience. The side the tray is tilted to can sometimes be unclear though.
Nice concept, sometimes you have to rethink the route to the objective which I like in puzzle games. Physics and controls feel good, maybe some gaps for the end teleporter were a bit too small but that's not a big problem.
Really liked the animations and effects. They added a lot to the mood. Great use of shaders too. Good beginning for a sandbox game.
Very nice effect when you land and the graphics overall. I liked the difficulty growth, the last two levels really challenged me.
I liked the look of the devices in the cabin, especially the main screen with distance to the black hole. The mood is also great although could be greater if the game had some ambience. The game did its job of putting stress of trying to solve many problems at once but imo the amount of problems that were arising was too much.
For example when I tried typing code to one of the devices new line appeared as soon as I have finished typing the other line. Kinda same with the other devices. So at the end I chose the strategy of interacting with only two devices that look the least time to repair. But yea that would be my only problem, I liked your game very much.
Graphics are amazing and the way of controlling the cart is a great touch too. If you could just shoot the weapon in a usual way game would be quite boring but as it is, it makes you think and act fast which I really liked.
I really wish this was a bit more finished. These types of management games are my favourite. I enjoyed it nonetheless. The lighting and the general aethetics created a good mood.
Very spooky game. Every new predator fish scared me more than the previous one and when I thought I could no longer be scared the giant fish with the lightbulb jumped on me. It also adds to the mood that the water gets blacker as you go deeper. The only thing that I disliked a bit in your game was that when you turn your body when going downwards the flashlight goes all the way around you. A great game besides that, one of the best I've played this jam.
I really liked the concept that while learning the game controls you are not punished by your mistakes but rewarded by creating new passages from explosion. And the game is very fun in general, controls are good in a way that they are not precise and you are bound to make mistakes and enhance the experience.
Also people are talking that level 4 is hard but if you just blow the wall to the left of the server you can use the space there to turn around like in the video https://streamable.com/os2bka
Really cool puzzle mechanic. And the level design is great, especially the dark level - it brought something new when I thought I've seen everything in the game. Enjoyed it very much.
Wow this is insanely well done. I could compliment a BUNCH of stuff in this game but others have already done it. So im just gonna say this was one of the best games I played during all of my jams.
Btw, I neglected the upward momentum upgrades until I got to around 500m, then I bought like 3 of them at once and my speed downwards skyrocketed and I momentarily beat the game in one attempt. Dont know if should work like that judging from description of the upgrade.
I liked your game, it is very polished - everything feels great and on top it has some nice little effects like particles when you walk and jump into the water. Great graphics - simple but very good-looking with nice selection of just a couple of colors, very consistent and the tiles are ๐ฅ. I couldnt pass one one the levels I think near the end but the game didnt feel unfair at all - jumping is well done, I just wasn't good enough.
Great idea and implementation of the theme. It was fun flying and shooting missiles faster and faster. When the suit upgraded it was satisfying to have a moment of "victory break". Though at depth 4 I think where the enemies became spawning like crazy it started lagging and I couldn't outkill them. Good job. Kamina would be proud.
Game is indeed very atmospheric. Played it for about 10 minutes enjoying the ambient and the general look of the space. Would have played much longer honestly if it had something to do during the search for the planets. It would be great if it had some kind of direction pointers to the nearest places of interest at the edge of the screen, cause I could find only Arrakis while playing. But the atmosphere is really good. Good job.
Rotation mechanic is really nice. I couldn't pass all the levels but enjoyed the ones I did, especially difficult ones.
Very funny game! I totally didn't expect the dude to burst a giant laser after getting fat with burgers. And the other aspect are great too: gameplay is solid, you have variety of enemies and the shooting is really satisfying.
Game looks very nice, I liked the ricocheting bullets and the general minimalitic style. I would prefer a higher rate of fire against the mobs though, the levels become filled with them very soon and their shots are hard to dodge when there are so many of them.
Very interesting concept for a game. I've bought a lot of stuff and was digging like crazy, as a result I've got a ton of artifacts that I didn't go through revealing. Maybe if they were revealed automatically it would feel better. And another suggestion is to make tool more expensive with every purchase. I enjoyed playng your game.
Nice-looking game, also pretty well-balanced, built my own mini-empire. But its not 5km to win, I got a win screen somewhere at 30000m and 50000m.
Nice game, I liked that elevator eventually just started falling down with paricles by its sides. When I found out you can shoot fireballs I never used the sword again:) I think the main problem were the shooting robots its really hard to dodge their bullets unless you kill them first. Thats why I think a bigger space for moving (or just smaller characters) would make the game better.
I really liked your game. You managed to make a game about moving the ball between other balls very deep and atmospheric. I even had goosebumps for a bit when the two balls became one. Also the transitions between levels are awesome.
Game is rather challenging, got to floor 4 at most. The consumables are helpful (pizza really helps against laser dude) but using them is kinda hard to manage when the game is so fast paced. Movement and shooting feel good. Great work.
Great job. Mining blocks feels great. This game is quite addictive.
Really great visuals and audio, not much else to say:)
Graphics are beautiful. Icons, colors, everything is pleasant and consistent. At the core a usual brick breaker game but well polished visually. Played with joy.
Was a bit hard at first to maneuver at tight space but when I started using warping to other sides I got used to it very fast. Nice game, sometimes though you can spawn just in the center of shark pack with no way of dodging them. Nice little details like light on the fish.
Very relaxing and satisfying to jump between asteroids in space, good idea for a platformer. But sometimes it feels disorienting especially when jumping on the orange spheres, its hard to predict where you are going to go after you jump on them. Maybe some other means of travelling between asteroids would be more convenient like air boost from jetpack or a grappling hook. But overall I enjoyed playing your game, somehow randomly got to the end but only found 3 minerals. The creature is dope.
This was one of the most surreal games from ludum dare I've played. I've played through all the puzzles just enjoying watching the smooth movement and lighting, yea, and music is a very nice touch too. Very relaxing game actually.
Cute graphics and pufferfish sounds. Movement is a bit slow for my taste though.
Great work on the mood, both the graphics style and the ambience made me a bit terrified even. For a 48h game you did a good job polishing it from every side.
This is one of the most fun games I played this jam. Awesome audio!
Thats an interesting mechanic for an arcade game. But it really needs a fullscreen mode, mouse constantly goes away from the window.
The human body looks really nice with its animations. It was pretty hard for me to catch both rhythms, could not last longer than 21 second.
The game is great in terms of graphics, audio and level design but I would really like to play the level I died on to practice it more rather than move to the start.
I really liked how fighting arena is actually real organs with themed stuff lying around there. Also the music intensifies perfectly as the heart rate gets lower. Amazing game.
I liked the minimalistic style and progression in your game. Was a bit annoyed though when I double clicked to stock the log near campfire but it decided to put use it as fuel.
Liked the movement concept.
Great visuals for 72 hours. I had some problem where I lost hp when fighting but I was sure I was not hit by the enemy. Or maybe I just didnt understand some enemy attack.
Visuals and animations are very pleasant. The only problems I had waere that it is sometimes hard to click the flowers when camera moves and sometimes bad flowers would spawn right next to me so I had no time to react.
I like such puzzles as yours where core mechanic is so simple and elegant you could create a bunch of interesting levels using only it and nothing else. Also good job on game feeling, I liked the squashing characters and relaxing music.
I was a bit confused at first as I expected you couldnt't move the platform ahead of the cyclist if he already passed it. The game is pretty hard and I think some checkpoints would be very helpful here. Great concept.
That is a clever game mechanic and yeah, I didn't find out that you can shoot down enemies with their own arrows until I saw the comments which makes the mechanic even better. Good job.
I think it would be fun to play such game for two people, especially with more levels.
I dont know whats with the hipsters, handsome eggplant or flying beaver but after playing I'd like to know the lore.
Amazing art, music and sounds.
I liked the challenge of controlling 2 characters at once but it was hard for me to get to the end. I chose the strat of doing vertical movement with the beaver and normal movement with the dude.
Good job with the game. It lacks the animations though.
Great everything. Idea, pixel-art, town structure, especially animation and sound when you hang a poster.
Your game is one of the funniest I played so far. It was totally hillarious seeing people liking the dickpic I drew and seeing it al over the streets.
I was very confused with the controls at first but when I got used to it I really felt the challenge and it wasn't even hard mode. In fact it was too hard to rewire my brain that this is not usual platformer where space is jump that I kept pressing it and reset myself 3-4 times.
I liked the challenge.
I like the shadow around campfire, really adds to the game feel.
Sweet looking graphics. At first I thought I would have to manage different crops and that would get tidious. But no, you did everything just right, it was fun to keep track of parasites, water, hoeing in advance, etc. and I enjoyed getting a good ending.
Great work with the shadows and music. I feel it needs a a clearer goal than surviving as long as you can. Like getting from A to B and collecting the light on the way.
Good idea and execution. This game really tests your agility. I literally shouted on the last level where I was an inch from getting away and the dog got me.
That was fun. And relaxing. Played through all of it.
I liked the art, it is very clean and has nothing unnecessary. And I also liked the way you are told about the controls. Overall a very relaxing puzzle game.
Would be great if it had projectiles for all the weapons.
Just want to repeat everyone else and say that that aesthetics, visual integrity and mood are great.
Also "Fish weight: 80 kg" "Fish size: Medium"
That cracked me up.
Could not play your game :(. You uploaded just the exe file but I think on unity you need a full build.
Great game in every aspect. Some places were challenging I had to think ahead if I should really pickup that heart now or leave it for later.
Finished the game by losing. I rate this 10 toilet papers out of 10.
Great game. The fishing mechanic feels good. Nothing "fishy".
My personal preference would be that you would need to catch a certain amount of every fish in the given time period. If you do - the dream was good and you win.
Good take on the theme. Graphics is sweet. But really lacks the sound effects, they would really benefit here.
I struggled at first level but once figured it out how to move properly, ran throught all the levels flawlessly. Overall this looks like a fully finished fun mobile game. Good job!
Cool concept. I think it would be better if the shapes only had outlines so you wouldn't need to try to cover every pixel inside because that costs time and this process is not too fun. I like that no matter how hard you try to draw the shape it always turns out to be a weird mess, that is funny.
I'd never want such a tattoo artist though.
Good game. My highest score was 790. The visuals and pretty neat and elegant. I had no problem with the controls, once I got the hang of it, they felt fine.
I think the ray UFO's have too much health (it took like 8 punches to bring it down) so when I focus on bringing it down peasant UFO's keep shooting. Also my personal preference would be that the general speed of what's going on the screen would be higher so you could really punch through stuff and feel more immortal.
I liked the atmosphere. Ambient sounds worked very well.
Damn, this is such a minimalistic gem.
Camera and shooting felt great.
Very atmosheric game. I enjoyed its couple levels, but could not know what to do in the level after you kill the monster with the gate, monster there just stood still and didnt react to me. There is really good mood in this game. Great job!
The game feels great in every aspect. In fact I liked this game the most out of 30 I've played so far. The last challenge was a bit hard for me but I enjoyed it very much!
The game is hillarious! Best OST I've heard so far!
It felt so good answering all of the questions at the end correctly. Great take on the theme!
This is one of the best overall games I've played so far. Liked it for clever level design and pretty art. But I wish the bombs were infinite, because I failed with them so I had to start all over a couple times. Also I sometimes get stuck while on the ladder.
Im surprised you dont have a humour voting category, I really laughed at the comments and nicknames. Great entry.
wait. what was that? you cant't end a game like that. what's the point of the game? the game is so short? what the?
Actually that was quite unpredictable and fun
Spent quite a while on the second level but eventually played through all of them. Interesting take on the theme, simple and fun!
Controls were super comfortable and animations were on point. Very fun game!
I like chess remakes with new rules and I was very much impressed with this one, very innovative. I wonder how it would feel playing with these rules with another person and not the AI.
Strange combo: a challenging but at the same time relaxing game. Could not get past the 7th day but enjoyed it very much. Great creation of yours in every aspect!
Graphics are just amazing, especially on the forest level, controls feel good and music fits very well. Great game!
Didn't quite understand what was the purpose of blocks, cause if you lock yourself at night you cant get out :D I wish map was smaller and resources were closer to each other cause there are just many empty spaces where you have to just walk for quite a long time.
The cards and their descriptions made me smile a lot. Really liked their art. I guess there were no mood and humour categories because I scored #1 in both of them.
I liked your simple art style and cute animations, also when the ghost killed me the sound scared me shitless :D
I love puzzle games and this is a very clever puzzle idea! Im sure this would make for a great full game.
The goo building mechanic felt just right. Got stuck one time but other than that, great game, in fact with a lot of content!
04f9c9d5cd265565321d0c350daa1197.png
Somehow I did it. (There were times when enemies just passed their turns and didn't do anything, I don't know if that was intended but that's how I won atleast)
This game was the most fun of all games I got to play this jam. I learned with every playthrogh and played it for ~20 minutes. The idea of having sum and product for making sacrifices is just brilliant imo together with that you have to keep in mind what enemy creatures you could trade for yours. If there was a similar finished and polished game with the same mechanic I would certainly buy it. You just hit the bull's eye into my heart with this one. And the girl is cool.
In the end I was low on everything, I thought I would not make it but then the last point apperared I and barely made it through. The music sounded somehow addictive, idk. I liked this little adventure.
It's a very funny game, especially animations and sounds. And the conveyor keeps you engaged all of the time.
It was fun to run around the level with a gamepad. Something I would suggest is adding having a separate contol for grabbing and realesing a battery, it felt pretty inconvinient for me that i had to push the battery.
A simple mechanic yet well put into the levels. I especially like that the game has some narrative to it, like im being rewarded with every new line of text for solving a puzzle. Also chill music and simple but sweet graphics makes for a good experience.
A very solid game in its atmosphere with good pixel-art and greatly chosen music.
Game got me in for some time. Gravity felt just right.
A great game in every single aspect! For my taste I'd prefer a different setting, I felt bad when stomping poor guys:d I think this can grow into a full game, seeing how polished it is for 72 hours of making I wonder what would it be if spent more time on.
Graphics is pretty good as well as the idea of throwing enemies into a pit. Also I liked that the blood stays after killing enemies. Small details matter. But I have some suggestions.
I could not understand how the shield works, to me it looks like it just pops up for half a second so you have to somehow understand when the foe is about to attack but he doesn't have long enough animation for attacking and the fact that the shield is used then you release the mouse button instead of pressing complicates the blocking proccess even further. On the other hand you can just spam the sword attack and it is very powerful alone so I didn't feel the neccesity to even use the shield. One of the solutions I think would be to add animations before the attacks of player and foes so that you would think more when to block and when to hit instead of just running towards the enemy and spamming them to death. That would make the gameplay slower so maybe it's not a good solution if you want your playing procces to be fast-paced. But I would certainly change blocking for key_release to key_press.
Great graphics! The artstyle reminds me of darkest dungeon. One thing I didn't understand is what are those yellow numbers near crafting items are for, since when I craft stuff their amount doesn't go down.
Spoooky. Great combination of sfx and dimming light together with good pixel-art. I had no idea where I was going and nonetheless got to the end. The screen when you finish the game with your names was just whole black for me for some reason. Also I liked that the character leaves torches at the place of death.
You've put a lot of effort in graphics, I liked it. Though I'd wanted to see more clearly what sacrificing/rescueing did so that each of them would pay out in their own way like adding a new ability maybe. Also with some music it could create some dark mood, though the game already does it with empty dungeon hallways and well-desinged and cool-looking monsters. Music would just enhance the mood.
I feared my card would not hold the next-gen graphics but I was wrong ;D The graphics are nice, especially background and I liked the sfx. The tutorial made me smile, the only problem are some plotholes but that's no big deal. Waiting for the sequel.
The movement is really smooth and the graphics is nice. I wish the shoot button was not on the mouse since it is its only purpose, maybe on spacebar. Also after some playing the enemies stopped shooting and thechallenge was lost.
This is a very good concept but the problem is that the map is too short so the "survival" part doesn't come into play as much as it could be. Enemies get to finish line in about 70 seconds, that didn't give me enough time for "survival-sandbox" experience. I've tried getting resources first, then tried to overtake the enemies; went forward without crafting anything; and the best for me was crafting a pickaxe and racing for the spot where you can break two rocks and cut significant distance.
I had fun though just exploring the map and seeing capabilities of your game:) This is a great idea and game nonetheless, just requires more balance, I'm glad I had the experience!
I enjoyed this so much! Wish there were more stages but that was absolutely good for the demo. The music fits the game good and the graphics is simple but looks just fine. I like puzzle games in general and I liked this one as well. You did a great job!
P.S. Also, imo, maybe a move mechanic which moves player square by square would fit the game more than constant movement, just my thought:)
That was an interesting mix. Although the graphics are pretty simple you managed to make it look really nice together, actually I really liked your style. I wish there was some increase in difficulty over time, I kept playing your game until I got 30k points but it would bring more fun with rising difficulty. Also I didn't quite get what was that brown thing in the memory game which there was only one the whole time, a placeholder? Overall a nice entry!
Game plays and feels really good! A nice concept you've come up with. Wish there was atleast some audio though. Also doesn't seem like there is a challenge, it's more like a sandbox demo where you run around freely shooting stuff. But I liked the experience!
First game this jam to which I can give 5 for the audio.
A very polished game that fits the theme well. I wish it was on my tetris-thing when I was 5 years old:)
Very addictive. Great graphics and music!
When I encountered enemy planes it felt like a real air battle, though quite simple xd. Also great job on the camera work, felt really good. Nice game!
An amazing game with mix of good graphics and audio. You did a great job combining Tetris and a platformer. Imo it's still a tetris nonetheless just with a different way of controlling the blocks but the idea itself is really cool and with some additions to the gameplay i'm sure you can make it into a full complex game. Great entry!
You did a great job trying to create a tension of a stress situation, I really loved it. The dialogue felt natural and gameplay mechanic was simple enough to keep thinking in both directions yet still provided challenge. I didn't see any flaws in design or other aspects.
This is surely one of the best games I played this jam and I'd store it in my honourable games folder if you had a windows version xd.
This is a very cool concept. Although it feels a little buggy with the stuck-blocks and how the enemies hit you. I understand that stuck-blocks mechanic is intentional and you have to dash out of them but for me it just didn't feel right, maybe if they applied a strong slow to you rather than completely stucking you it would feel better.
The enemies kept missing me even if I was completely surrounded by them, felt unfair towards the enemies xd.
In other aspects the slashing felt great, screenshake was perfect, audio fits well. I had fun!
This is a relly good mix. Kept saying to myself: "Okay, just one more round" then I played like 5 more. Great work on each category and on the little details that made the game feel great.
Very nice mix of the two games you mentioned. Controls confused me a couple of times, needed to get used to them. Beat both levels, idk if the game crashed or ended after that. The arena-thing looked nice with bouncing cubes. Too bad there is no audio:( Overall, well done!
Amazing concept!
Great concept!
Great art style, characters are very cute. And I like the mechanic, you have to focus at 2 tasks at once but at the same time its not that hard but still has some challenge. GJ!
I like puzzle games in general and I liked this one too. Well-executed mechanic. Was a bit misleading how guards' detection field worked, thought you get caught only when you enter his light, but he detects me when im behind him too, thats how I lost :P
Overall a very chill and aestetically good-looking game. I didnt have any problems with the controls, I think they are made just right. Audio is pleasant as well. Definetely one of the better games I've seen this jam. Although kinda wish there was a bit more to the gameplay besides moving between places in order to build a shape (maybe some roaming enemy, dunno). Good job!
Wow, this whole game is just amazing. Very polished already, you guys add a feature of uploading your own songs and some more enemies and guns and you have a finished product. Enjoyed this a lot!
Had some fun playing the game, it has its pace, you cant stand at one place for a second which is ultimately a good thing for this type of game but gets quite repetetive to continue playing as all the enemies are pretty much the same, only their stats change (got 24k score). Anyhow a good entry!
Finished it in one breath. Honestly, I was impressed, this idea for a puzzle game is just as awesome as the implementation of it. The only bad thing was that I had to click a couple of times on the text field to type, other than that, very polished game, one of the best I've seen this jam.
It went spooky real fast, haha. I like how the melody is all positive at the start and how it becomes darker as you swim deeper. Controls feel really neat, graphics is cool, I dont think I found any flaws in the game actually. great horror-fishing game with nicely chosen music. Absolutely well-earned 5 for the mood!
Nice entry! The mechanic of throwing a sword is implemented very well and felt great. Enemies are balanced, it took some challenge at places but the game is not that hard and feels just right. ะhe only flaws I could find are inability to switch to fullscreen(kept clicking outside of screen many times) and some graphics stuff which is not a big deal.
Great idea indeed. Not too hard, not too simple, game is well-balanced. Love the graphical effects, good job on them as well. Nice entry overall!
Interesting idea. Got to wave 10 but then I fell off the map. It was quite fun to slash though enemy chess with rook and the queen but when I became the knight I kind of lost that fun because you could just spam moving with its instant teleportation to the next place and avoid any damage(also the energy was unlimited for some reason). But overall I liked the gameplay though it needs a bit more polishing.
Felt great both when trying to place a little house on the spot very carefully and when just spamming your mouse all across the table and destroying the whole level. Overall a fun game in which I couldn't find any major flaws in controls, graphics or design. Good job!
I must say that the graphics is awesome. I really liked the style and the atmosphere of your game with the ambient music, but for me it was near impossible to control the rocket. The 45 degree offset for the inputs is hard to get used to, especially with high friction and you have to pay attention to both movement and rotation. Imo this control feature spoils the experience.
You've done a good job, I really liked the combo of genres, it was fun but the tower defense part indeed becomes less important for you to pay attention after you place some of the towers.
Would be great if there were some actions in the TD part of the game that would influence the relations with the characters.

It took me about 5 minutes to understand how to hit enemies but after that the game became very fun. The music was great, kept me going until I got 22300 and died. Good job!

Great concept and execution! Minimalistic design fits really well here. The game brought back the memories of math analysis lectures from my university ๐ My only suggestion would be to maybe increase the movement speed when you're holding shift. Also I've got a bug: it showed 2 stars for each level although I've completed almost everything for 3 stars.

Sick idea, very well executed! Liked the difficulty. Though I couldn't understand what the red rectangle did.ce01640b843fb1f4e31d2a1400a8b181.png
Inside the box by Animaster 2023-10-04T10:00:58Z ♥ 3
Loved the intro and the game over screen. The game was too hard for me, most I got were 4 or 5 customers, after that there were so many boxes that I could only hope for luck to pick the right one. The game was still fun, it's just some more time for actions would be nice, or a slower start with less boxes.

The game feels really good! Very polished. Some kind of goal would be nice, like finding items or defeating a boss.
