Controls are a bit strange, but definitely the best game I played so far. Nice music and graphics!

Nice game! It's not quite easy but made it all the way through :)
@WhoaConstrictor That is supposed to happen (to make my game even more hard). Would be a pretty funny bug though :)
@Dungeonation A bomb is not an unconventional weapon, but this particular bomb is unconvential in the way that it does not want to explode.
Running the windows version in console gives me the following error:
image loading error
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException
at ludum.racing.LudumView.<init>(MainActivity.java:136)
at ludum.racing.MainActivity.main(MainActivity.java:23)
Android version works fine though.
I like your simplistic game mechanics, as well as your artstyle, altough sometimes the weather effects got too much. All in all very nice game.
I like your pixel art and the music suits the game well. The controls could be slightly improved, but other than that nice work!!!
The game is definitly well made and fun to play, but I don't think that destroying cars (and killing people) makes you a "monster".
I liked the game and played it all the way through, but to see if you died or if you won you have to run the game from terminal. Also you could exploit your furiosity getting negative.
For me the game doesn't open and even when running from terminal doesn't give a error message(stacktrace xD). Would love to play it. I'm running it on Windows if that helps.
Whoops, there were 2 guys faster than me to report that bug...

Very cool game! Although I had a hard time solving some of the puzzles and I had to cheat to see the end(didn't want to spend too much time per game), I think that you had a great idea.
Didn't recompile, I just read data.d properly... xD
@vanZeben I have had problem with input not being captured, but I tought I fixed it. What browser are you using?
@vanZeben you can also try to play it fullscreen or play the downloadable version.
@peterkirk I'm working on it, but it seems to be a bug with the engine I'm using. Try playing the game in fullscreen mode (press 'F') or downloading the Jar-File.
Fixed the "Spacebar Problem"
I think that your idea was great and the missiles flying into your face were suprisingly well aimed, but it could have been a bit more related to the theme. The soundeffects could be improved.
I think your idea was great and it fitted the theme, but it would be nice if you could explain your controls in advance because I had trouble navigating through the menu.
Very fun game!!! Just as suggestion you could embet just the game, not the full website. In your case that would be http://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/itchio/html/133077/index.html . But other than that the best game I played so far!
I really liked your idea and the ridles were challenging and fun to solve. I missed SFX. Otherwise grat game!!
The gameplay was a bit simplistic but i really liked your graphics and your level design.
The game is based on a great idea and your graphics are simple but good. I only dont like that you have to wait most of the time.
I really liked your simplistic art style, and the gameplay was fun for a while. Altought the game idea is simple it was very well implemented. My only complaint is that it took me some while to get used to the controls.
Great game!! Did you get any inspiration from Hyper Light Drifter? Your game reminded me of its art style...
The game was fun to play and i liked the graphics. Simple gameplay but well implemented.
Very nice graphics and great idea. I had a lot of fun playing it but i nerver unlocked the treasure hall. It seems to be pretty hard to do that.
Best graphics for me so far, also your idea is great, but the gameplay had a few bugs (e.g. you can 'ride' on blocks).
I really liked your graphics and the controls felt very reactive, but I dont understand your connection to the theme. Otherwise great game! Keep it up!!!
Nice idea. I like your relaxing music and aesthetics, although you could improve on the gameplay as there is no goal to the game (although thats how real life shopping works). Other than that I can't really complain about anything.
@astrkl thanks for playing my game!
The blocks do get removed, but you have to make a full ring around the planet. Maybe I should make this more clear in the instructions...
@nbilyk Shit! I hoped no one would look at my code because it is on of the worst pieces of code I've ever written. That's what happens if you try to make a game in 7h.
But anyway thanks for your feedback!
Nice little game! It's quite small, but that's just what A Small World describes. Best and most polished artwork and music I have seen so far for LD38.
(Also I agree with @avon that the sensitivity is very high)
Nice game! I especially liked your audio, although the ambient water noise was a bit repetitive in the end. Graphics are great to and your gameplay both made sense in regard to the theme of the game and was fun to play. It would have been great if you could make the border of the amoebic smoother to better suit the mood of the game, but I guess that's to much to ask for 48h.
The game was fun to play even though it was very easy. You could make the hammer which you're under hit more often, so the player couldn't sit in the same place for the whole game.
Most fun game I played so far! Besides the problem with the controls the others here already mentioned I liked the very fast playstyle.
Your ammo system is very interesting as you can still fight your enemies with dashing if you have no ammo left, but that will deplete your health, so you have to balance between shooting and dashing. It would have maybe been nice to be able to see how much ammo you have left, but on the other side the way you implemented it in your game there is more tention as you never know how much you have left.
I really liked how you connected the music with your game (e.g. the simple harmonies the portals create). As you said the game can be played in one go without a explicit tutorial and you even managed to include a simple story. The graphics were a bit simple in comparison to everything else, but I wouldn't be suprised if you at least won in the audio category.
Your controlls are a bit confusing, but when I eventually managed to destroy a star it was really satisfying. Your audio and visuals are definitely very polished.
Cool game! Although the graphics and the level design are a bit repetitive, I liked your audio design. Try making shorter levels next time or include more tilesets/enemies.
Very simplistic but polished game. Nothing to complain about here.
Nice game, played it for quite a while. I would have liked to play the other roles, but everytime I restarted the game I spawened as planet. The way the game is set up there is a endless back and forth between the fire and the plants, as the fire spreads faster if there are more plants, but if there are none left the fire will die. Also liked your audio.
Well planed and well executed. I think you managed to do everything you wanted with this game.
Nice game! Solid gameplay, although it gets a bit repetitive. I liked the music stuff you did at the beginning and I would have loved to have more of that in the actual game besides the ambient noise.
The first time I played, I had an error when my ship arrived at the planet I was currently inspecting. Didn't happen the second time... ___________________________________________ FATAL ERROR in action number 1 of Step Event0 for object obj_terraform_but:

Great game! I'll definitely check back later when voting is enabled.
Nice good looking game. I took quite some time to figure out that there was more than one level, but already liked it before seeing the other levels
Nice and short game. Also I'm surprised how well you managed to balance it in 72h. I found it very calm and relaxing. There is really nothing bad to say about this game. You set yourselves a goal and captured it perfectly.
Nice game! You really captured the atmosphere of a club quite well (sth that I can barely remember in times of corona). It was a stressful but rewarding experience.
Two minor nitpicks: Sometimes it's hard to see where you are (as its so dark), also the "tutorial" day could be a bit longer, I had to restart the game because I couldn't find all the minigames (maybe let the player decide when the first day should end).
Three different minigames for the 3 bars would have been great, but I guess you can only do so much in 72h . Best game I played so far.
Very fun and interesting Idea (I made something similar in an earlier Ludum Dare). Nice game mechanics, I didn't get very far but still had a lot of fun.
Very nice game, interesting spin on the theme. I spent quite some time playing it (restarted a few times because I thought I was doing to badly to be able to win).
One minor problem was, that I couldn't see the holes without turning up my monitors brightness as they were too similar to the ground.
But other than that: Solid mechanics and great art and music.
Great game! Contrary to what @enya454 said I really liked the moody sound effects. Why did you disable rating for audio? Are the sound effects not yours?
Anyway, I quite enjoyed my playthrough. The dash attack is a bit overpowered, but that doesn't take away from the fun.
Great game, the prettiest I played so far. Solid mechanics although (as others already mentioned) the game can be a bit slow. Nevertheless very relaxing and fun.
Nice game! With some music and a few more different enemies / items you could turn this into a real roguelike. Are those levels randomly generated?
One problem the game has at the moment is that it is just too easy. Maybe smarter enemies that try to surround you instead of attacking from just one side would be interesting, but I guess that's too much to ask for a game made in 48h.
Great job nevertheless.
Nice game, I like the twist after completing the level for the first time. Only minor fault is that the player orientation sometimes isn't reset at the level start.
I like your idea of controlling your movement by shooting things, but when playing I didn't actively use this mechanic, because it was easier to just shoot things. I don't really have a suggestion on how to fix this, maybe change the enemies to have different movement / take cover so that you have to go to a specific point to shoot them...
Also I would suggest putting the crosshair on the mouse cursor, not just in the direction of the mouse pointer. This made aiming pretty hard.
At first I was frustrated because I didn't was too lazy to read the controls, but now that I have using the spreadshot is so fun!
@owca Thanks for your feedback. I guess we didn't make that clear enough: You can see which seasons a plant will not survive on their cards or if you hover over them. The rose for example will only die in winter. (Plants also die if you don't harvest them)
