Nice idea. But the matching click and kick is reeeeaally hard.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → Users → bytekeeper

Chario Kart :D
Quite aggressive bots, good!
We had almost the same idea :D But the actual game differs. I'm not sure about the pressing and holding "D" thing, maybe a second "action" would have helped.
Haha nice, but very empty :/ Maybe some people will join later.
Reminds me of need for speed highstakes. And the police got me :( Nice game, the enemy AI is funny - it is mostly driving backwards here.
Movement is a bit off (too much aircontrol). The mirror's edge feeling is cool and the "music" fits perfectly.
Hmm I mentioned "You cannot control the actual chariot action". If you resize the window it is broken, yes :(
Hmm, long walks and it suddenly stopped within the "artifact"... But the intro text was fun, but the right side of the text was cut off - difficult to read. I like the walk animation, pretty smooth.
Coool! The amount of scarabs on screen is crazy after a few minutes haha. I guess you can only lose if you are out of scarabs and have no money to buy new ones?
Hmm, I brought back both hostages to the entry but the level didn't progress.
Hmm, I'm checking on it, might be some bug in the cost calculation.
@HuvaaKoodia Thank you very much for your review. You pretty much nailed most of my thoughts on my entry. The actual plan was to make monsters roam around and take place before an altar - which was supposed to be an "office desk" replacement. When planning the game I thought I had more time, sadly real life kicked in pretty hard. So I tried to finish the game at least which is why altars are placed instead of just a stat. The real time aspect was actually something I wanted - but it didn't quite work out due to the lack of game mechanic so I just wired it up to the expenses to "pressure" the player a it.
The overall plan was to have the "office" be a bit like in a manager game like "Game Dev Tycoon".
It reaaaally gets worse with mire ducklings ;)
Nice one. The villain fight is a bit strange, I didn't even know who won. I like the pixel art, some basic sound for shooting fireballs would really help a lot. Due to the gaps in the ground and the green graphics it reminded me of Super Mario, but what jump and run does not ;)
Well usually running into people when drinking makes people drink more. Other than that a very fitting theme for this time of year :)
Can you actually lose or win the game? Doesn't seem to matter what I press besides the info if I hit or missed. Maybe winning or losing is not part, but some statistics at the end would be nice. Or some different sound if I fail hard (I tried pressing all arrows as fast as I can and there's no indication of my "mishap")
Amazing. Graphics are cool, music builds tension without distracting. First time playing was a bit rough as neither 1, 2 nor space does anything. Please add to the description that 1 and 2 only work while jumping and space only works if you have enough resources to jump. Also, clicking with the mouse gives a feedback, pressing 1 and 2 does not really.
Gameplay: I liked it very much. It's very easy to learn, yet finding the right balance of fighters, miners and timing is pretty hard. Especially since things get tougher quite soon. Leaving behind miners by jumping too soon adds to the thrill.
A bug I noticed: Sometimes miners won't leave the, let's call it "mother ship". In that case the game is lost as no jump can be acquired. I played it quite often, so it even happened in the very first level.
