LD36 — Ancient Technology

Map The Stars by vitineth 2016-08-29T14:28:00

Really impressive that you managed to convey such an intricate story in such little time.
I also really liked the 3D renderings that provided some visual illustrations of what the rooms look like.
I must admit that I had to skim through the source code when I got stuck.
I was not able to continue from the rotating star puzzle, because I could not move the outer most circle. :(
Great experience nevertheless. :)

Egypt Saves The World by RafaCP 2016-08-29T16:32:00

Interesting take on space invaders with added mechanics, but some of the sound effects were a bit heavy on the ears.

Ancient Blacksmith by Efmi_ 2016-08-29T15:46:00

Interesting take on Ancient Technology, but too much clicking. :S

Petroglyph by Jonpul 2016-08-29T18:01:00

Well polished game that has its replay value by trying to beat your previous score.

Old N' Fashioned? by tomer_cool 2016-08-29T12:40:00

The intro cracked me up. :D
The self recorded sound effects added a cool personal touch to the game.
At some places I didn't see where I was supposed to go next so to fix it I suggest to scale the game to make the oncoming platforms more visible or to add a minimap.
Overall enjoyed the experience. 8/10

Rm -universe by LCMW_Spud 2016-08-29T16:14:00

Fun game! The programmers art is true art. The volume levels could use a bit work. But I did manage to save to universe from being deleted.

Five Days by DUDSS 2016-08-30T14:51:00

Fun research managing game with some flaws. When the enemy attacks all it does is take my army to negative and and my village takes no damage.
In the end I was able to upgrade everything, build up a large army and take down the enemy village.

The Tourist by lekiy 2016-08-29T19:00:00

Agh! The game is more difficult and unforgiving than dark souls.

Farming Sim BC by asteryz 2016-08-29T12:06:00

Was a little frustrated at first trying to pick up tools and missing or dropping the tool when trying to use it, but the cursing mechanic made it worth it in the end.

laser, windmill, delivery! by pixzleone 2016-08-29T18:08:00

To run the game you need to have LÖVE engine installed from love2d.org .
The game play is fun with upbeat music and everything runs smoothly.

(Not) Greedy Cup by wowods 2016-08-29T16:20:00

Fun minigame of balancing wine between cups.

Lorem Ipsum or Engineering for a Civilized Age by amras0000 2016-08-29T12:29:00

Interesting game, had trouble starting the game trying to click on things in the menu then I realized that I had to press G to start the game. :P

Also resizing the window with the config file works great. Music and singing were a nice touch to really get in the mood of building aqueducts.

Icarus by JustASHadow 2016-08-29T16:59:00

The game gets really hard towards the end, but provides amusement for a while. A soundtrack for a game such as this would have been great.

The Fixer by lordvorath 2016-08-29T20:21:00

The music is quite calming and suits the atmosphere. I also liked the minimalistic graphics. Upsettingly I was unable to locate the last artifact. Perhaps one day I'll finish the game.

Interesting story with cool visuals and animations. Just lacking sound.

Card Smith by Archimagus 2016-08-29T14:57:00

Awesome game!
tl;dr for others confused about this game:
The game is essentially about replacing your deck with more valuable cards to buy items which give victory points and you need to get 21 VP before the AI to win.
