Those are some spooky skeletons! Nice entry! I liked the lighting on the character when you shoot. I had such an urge to jump the entire time though! Oh, also, the title screen reminds me of Venture Bros.
@ursagames Oh yeah, I can see the resemblance. Thanks for the comment!
Haha, the story is great, also the game is truly perfect, well done
The lighting is well polished, and whoa the shadows look great! Nice job for a first entrance ;)
Interesting story with cool visuals and animations. Just lacking sound.
Fun, short and cool.
I love the skeletons exploding :D
The boss is a little bit to easy to kill.
Great game guy, continue like that :)
I looked at your project and noticed that the hearths are literally 2D sprites attached to the camera. I don't know why you would ever want to do that, but they're supposed to be under "Canvas", just like all your UI elements. Speaking of UI, make sure you understand anchors https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/UIBasicLayout.html 99% of the time you want your anchors to be at the corners of their respective UI element, otherwise it won't scale with resolution.
As a side note, I listened to that "Spooky scary skeletons" song while playing and it made the game more comical than it was supposed to be lol.
Nicely-done story introduction and cute character art! :) I love the lighting, it makes it really scary to jump down the steps. I went down all the way and killed the glowing skeleton - is there anything more to the game which I didn't find? Nice entry, good job!
well done
Loved the story and the low brightness makes the hole game more misterious. Iwould have added a jump option. Overall well done!
@JustASHadow To tell the truth, I know close to nothing about Unity's built-it UI. I wasted a huge chunk of development time on figuring out how to make OnClick() work properly. Also, UI is usually the last thing I do in a project and I had a major UI-related crisis at about 2:30 am, and didn't have time to fix and test it properly and it kind of shipped in its very raw state. I'm very thankful for your comment, though, I'll read up some and next time I'll do the UI properly.
@blinry Yes, there is another hole in the ground to the left of where the skeleton stands and another room with what I hesitate to describe as "story conclusion". Also, there are two ways you can go through the second stage and one of them has more enemies than the other one. Other than that, there's nothing more, glad you liked it!
very nice game great work!!
