@owndbyu "It would be helpful to have like a "examine room"/"help""
I understand what you mean. I probably should've considered this when making it but I guess it slipped my mind. If I do any more work on this then I'll definitely add this. Thank you so much for this by the way, it's amazing to get this kind of feedback.

@WhiteSeal "During my time with the game I managed to break it a little, if you try to examine gadget after using the gadget on device, you get a null pointer exception at line 57 of L1R2.java"
Whoops! I might go back through and fix this. Sorry if that prevented you from playing any further (not sure if it would've). Thanks for taking the time to review this.

Of Health and Madness by studdert249 2016-08-29T12:34:00

This was actually quite interesting to play. It was quite difficult actually. The script is very interesting and its quite easy to get lost in it and keep playing over and over which I'd say is a sign of a good game. The only problems I could think to mention is just before you die it gives you a message such as 'Agony grips you' and leaves you with the yes and no options which I found a little strange. Nothing bad just a little odd. Some changes in imagery in the background could be nice and give some more depth and some more immersion to the game but it's only a suggestion. It's a well done game that it quite fun to play.

Roby Robot by lonesurvivor 2016-08-29T20:41:00

The graphics are great and made the game nice to play. It lagged at times when playing which made it a little difficult to continue but that might just be my browser. I downloaded it for windows and it worked wonderfully. It's a lot of fun to play but I couldn't find the cog that was needed to open the door. Might just be me being stupid though. It was so much fun to play and I'd love to continue if I could find that gear. A great entry, well done.

Stone Giant by MirrorPolygons 2016-08-29T12:23:00

This is a very, very nice game. The graphics are very good and the model of the character is extremely well done. It's movement compliments it well as it gives the idea of its weight and slow movement. The passing of seasons was nice and effects of the trees were really nice to watch. I wandered around for a while trying to find something but I couldn't quite see anything. It would have been nice to have something to give a general direction as going everywhere at that speed is quite tedious. The idea of the main game play being in the circle was very nice and gave the game a unique feel. It was a pleasure to play and the music complimented it well (despite being a little creepy). It's a good game it would be nice to see it developed a bit more.

No Pyramid's Sky by DiegoCTorguet 2016-08-29T20:19:00

Wow is about all I can say. This game is an absolute pleasure to play. The art style is absolutely amazing and so much fun to look at. The sound complements it wonderfully and it makes the game so nice to play. It's simple but nice and a lot of fun to play so well done. The only suggestion that I could give would be to add some sort of scoring system so you can see if you beat yourself. You could even add some global high scores but I might be getting a head of myself. As others have said it would make a great mobile game if you were able to do it.

Archimagic by onyon 2016-08-29T20:13:00

This was quite fun, very difficult but that might just be my bad playing. The sound an graphics were very well done and really improved the gameplay. Very well done, a nice entry and a lot of fun.

Ben'sStories: GreatGrandfather's Story by QwaKlak 2016-08-29T11:59:00

It's a nice idea for a game and the basis is there. With a bit more work I think you could get a very cool game. The animations of the stick figures are quite cool, especially the hanging one. As others have said it would have been nice to have some indication of what your actions were doing. You mention in the guide that whipping gives a 5 second bonus on the speed so it would have been nice to see something pop up on the screen to count down or to show that there was that bonus. The graphics are quite good (at least much, much better than I could really do in that time in that style) and the only thing I could say with them would be the white borders around the stick figures. I don't know if that was intentional but for me it took up a reasonable bit of the screen and didn't quite look right. The side screen where you set the details is quite cool and being able to quickly see how much that would affect their happiness and sadness was very helpful. The only thing could be to potentially name what each of the settings did as one of them was a little difficult to figure out from a quick look. All round it is a very good idea and a quite good game (and quite difficult) and a very good attempt at LD36.

Conveyor belts by ObscenelyTrue 2016-08-29T21:18:00

This is actually a really fun play. The graphics are nicely done and make it seem like it's all done through cameras. It's a bit weird to get use to to begin with but it's a lot of fun when you get in to it. The sound adds to the game and gives it an almost a carnival feel in my eyes (or ears I guess) but all round a fun play. Only got to about 24 when I figured I should leave it for a while but it's a lot of fun.

The Coterie by oskardevelopment 2016-08-29T21:04:00

Very, very fun to play. Simple but really enjoyable. It could help to have a little guide at the start, even just the text that's in the description. The writing style is very nice and a joy to read. The story is interesting, some of the options are a little disturbing but all round a good game. I could keep on playing for a while which is a good sign. A great game and a great submission.

Ancient Motivation Technology by TheMightySice 2016-08-29T12:28:00

Wow, this is actually really cool to play. The art is nice and the sound really adds to the game. The idea is a bit of strange one but a fun one none the less. It's well executed although it disturbs me how much fun it was to play. Great game, well made and a lot of fun to play. An all round great entry.

Farming Sim BC by asteryz 2016-08-29T12:11:00

This was actually really cool. I don't really know what I was meant to be doing but it was quite fun to just wander around and play with stuff. The mechanics were good and it took a second to get used to where the character should be for it to affect each tile but once you had that it was easy. It would have been nice to have some sort of guide to tell you what each tool did in relation to the actual farming such as a tutorial at the beginning or something but I realise that it could be quite difficult in the short space of time. With some more work I think this could be a quite fun game, especially if there was a good goal to work towards. The music is quite peaceful and matched the game well which was nice. The cussing at plants bit was strangely fun. Look through the other comments you mentioned about trying to get an economic aspect into the game which I think would have made it better but I understand the time restrictions of a weekend. All round a good start to a game.
