Map The Stars by vitineth 2016-08-30T08:45:00

Good job! I like narrative games. As mentioned before, it would be very helpful if there was a full list of commands available. Also, what i found a bit confusing, was that I sometimes had to use "EXIT" (to return towards the center room) and sometimes "USE x DOOR". It took yuite a while till I realized that I had to type "EXIT" to leave the start room (I thought it would exit the game first).

Spectacular Stride Machine by Garfeild 2016-08-29T17:28:00

Nice! Simple but very polished game. Very good and fitting music (i had to smile more than once while playing when I fell over and the music was slowing down). Great art! I really like it!

Telegrapher by jackyjjc 2016-08-29T13:22:00

Well done!
I really like what you made out of such a simple idea. Nice graphics, nice messages, nice gameplay. And it's not as easy to not make mistakes than it seems to be.

Baby Daycare Simulator 2020 by cmayhem 2016-08-29T14:20:00

Interesting theme xD
Sadly I couldn't really figure out how it works. Some instructions would be nice.

Pharaoh's Treasure by owndbyu 2016-08-29T14:00:00

I needed some time to figure out how the traps work. The tripwire icon is really hard to see, it took me a few times (and a sxecond look at the description) till i realized that they must be there. The timer is kind of annoying if you are still figuring out how it works.

The music fits the game nicely. Sounds egyptian.

Overall: Good job!

The Wheel by MrErdalUral 2016-08-29T13:45:00

Very nice game! I really really like the art! The graphics are one of the best i have seen so far (within the Ludum Dare entrys). Great job!

Gameplay is good, the movement feels a bit sloppy. The constant screen shake gets annoying after some time.

Roby Robot by lonesurvivor 2016-08-29T13:14:00

I never saw the inventory bugging out, so I have no idea where that comes from. The problem with keep going into one direction can normally be solved by pressing the corresponding key once (this usually happens when your window loses focus while pressing buttons).

Regarding the engine where nothing happens: You need to do this in order to being able to open the door. Sadly i forgot to include a change of the inspection text when you have completely done it.

But thank you all for your comments!

Roby Robot by lonesurvivor 2016-08-29T17:04:00

@lightsoda
I guess you played the web version? This is probably caused by the game window losing focus for whatever reason (mostly clicking outside of it). The desktop version should work better. And if you get stuck moving, just refocus the window by clicking and then press the corresponding movement key once. It should be good then. I never had problems with the jump though. Can't really tell where this is coming from.

But anyway, thank you for your comment

Roby Robot by lonesurvivor 2016-08-29T22:02:00

@vitineth
Thank you for your comment (and everyone else too, of course)
I'm pleased that you had fun! If you want a little tip, you get the thing you need for the gear from the guy on the floating island. He just wants some oil...

Roby Robot by lonesurvivor 2016-08-30T11:54:00

@jackyjjc
I'm sorry that this happens. I seriously have no idea where that comes from, especially the jumping bug. It never happened to me. The keep walking bug seems to be caused by losing window focus while walking, as I mentioned above and in the description. I can only recommend to download the desktop version, it should work better in general. I'm not sure if i will fix the bug, I'm kind of done with that quick-and-dirty code xD.
But anyway, thank you for playing!

Roby Robot by lonesurvivor 2016-09-03T00:03:00

@lightsoda
Hm ok thank you for telling me. This is weird, as I said above, it never happened to me. So I don't have any clue what to do about it. But I guess I don't have time to fix it anyway, working on a new (and more "serious") project already.

Gears by danilafe 2016-08-29T11:45:00

Very difficult, it surely helps if you have some background in assembly xD

And, for the other players, you can delete gears with backspace, not with the delete button.

Indiana Cube by Horbee 2016-08-29T13:27:00

The graphics are nice!
I had some problems with the movement. It felt kind of sloppy (especially the little slide after you stop)

No Pyramid's Sky by DiegoCTorguet 2016-08-29T15:53:00

A solid simplegame with nice graphics and good music. I find it kind of hard to control with that jump mechanic, but i guess that's the point of it. Good job!

Archimagic by onyon 2016-08-29T13:09:00

Good game!
That's a really hard one. I learned used the pattern of the attacks and had my strategy, but my moving skill was still not good enough to avoid all the hits xD

One problem I had is that i often accidentally clicked outside of the window which killed a lot of time.

Ben'sStories: GreatGrandfather's Story by QwaKlak 2016-08-29T09:20:00

The graphics look a bit messy and need some improvements. The text is hard to read. I also find it kind of hard to understand what is going on and what impacts do my actions have on the building speed.

And yeah, the exit button doesn't while in game.

Overall, good idea.

Pharaoh's Diamond by Lojchin 2016-08-29T09:09:00

Nice little sokoban clone. What I find a bit weird, is that you have so many keys in the levels while you need only a few.

The graphics could need some improvement, also the movement feels to slow. Oh yeah, and I got stuck on a boulder while moving it towards an enemy.

God's Tech by Marta Viader 2016-08-29T18:01:00

Great art and great music! Nice gameplay.
It took me some time till I figured out how the merge button works (especially that it has only an effect when to creatures are on top of each other).

Hunter Gatherer by CptBubbles 2016-08-29T09:29:00

The game feels to slow. It takes too long to harvest the things and you get like no feedback how long it will take. The hitboxes of some of the bushes are off quite a bit. The game feels a bit empty. I only could find one bear.

But good idea!

Egyptian Dare by tenpn 2016-08-30T09:04:00

Nice and fun game! Who doesn't like to shoot bouncy balls. Good job!

Dino Hipster Survival by zulman 2016-08-30T08:54:00

Funny game, good work! The music and the sounds are nice. The game becomes pretty hard at stage 6, couldn't make it past it.

aRCANE by Jupitron 2016-08-29T14:38:00

Nice one! I like the art style. Moving and shooting feel nice and smooth. The sounds are nice and fitting. Good job!

Traffic Light Simulator by SuperChihuahua 2016-08-29T11:19:00

Very nice idea and well done! And quite difficult to manage after some time.

It would be nice though to see where the cars and pedestrians want to go when they approach the intersection.

Sentinel by Ilseroth 2016-08-30T09:38:00

Great game! The first game I saw with a "real" boss fight. It felt pretty solid (for such a short amount of time) and also challenging (couldn't kill it). The different attacks are nice. The music is also good and fitting.
Good work!

The Stones of Kelzi by XAND 2016-08-29T16:07:00

Very nice game! Simple but good graphics and atmospheric sounds (I love rainy games!). And, of course, a bit of storytelling which is kind of rare among all the games. I like it!

But I couldn't find out how to fight. I found a sword but couldn't swing it. Also, the inventory seemed to be always empty, even after I picked up stuff.

Obelisk by FaeLD 2016-08-29T15:45:00

Great concept! I played around with it a bit and found out how parts of it work. And I know what to do i guess. But I couldn't find out how the buttons affect the runes. Maybe I will have another look at it later.
Anyway, very nice game!

Floppy by brainybeard 2016-08-29T11:58:00

Haha great idea!

I was confused first, because with the wrong resolution set, the window cuts of the borders and I couldn't see the years at the left and the stuff at the bottom.

I like the idea to draw everything by hand on paper and use that. Well done!

The Adventures of HMS Kingdom Brunel by Hi_ImTemmy 2016-08-29T11:10:00

Nice one! Made it to day 8. I first wondered from where to get the coal, till I realized that I just need to hold space at an object xD.

I like the art style and the text showing up at the bottom. It could be little bigger i think. And yeah, the movement feels a bit clumsy (you can't move diagonally and are colliding a lot with edges). Some audio would also be great ;)

Artifact Hunter by CMLSC 2016-08-29T16:39:00

Great! Simple and challenging. Good minimalistic art, perfect sound for that kind of game. Was fun to play!
Being able to restart from within the game without having to close it would be nice though.

Theoton by ninja00283 2016-08-29T14:31:00

Very interesting concept! Nice retro graphics and good gameplay. Needed a few tries to figure out how to jump over holes but it was fun!

Die Die Die by spacewarp 2016-08-29T11:37:00

Nice simple strategy game! The interface could be a bit better (for example, let the user drag and drop the dices directly from slot to slot) and a final rating of your results would also be nice (i have no idea if i did well or not).

This could also be good as a one player board game i guess.

Aqueductus by wheerd 2016-08-29T14:10:00

Nicely done! Good graphics in a good old moving block puzzle game. The water takes a bit long though to proceed through the blocks in my opinion.

Spellbound by ijzm 2016-12-14T11:04:00

Great music! Creates a nice mood.

Last in Time by lonesurvivor 2016-12-12T22:49:00

Thank you, I'm trying to fix it right now

Last in Time by lonesurvivor 2016-12-15T22:45:00

Thank you all for your comments (and votes)! I really appreciate them.

@Cerno_b, you are right, the puzzles and the route through the game itself could need some work. I especially don't like the map with the same two trees spammed all over it. I had planned for a lot more (more dialogue/text/notes, a less random map, more sounds and so on), but the time was running out, so I had to rush. Being pretty pleased with the outcome, though.
And I was aware of the pixel problem, but didn't think about it much. Don't know if there is some way to solve that, have to reasearch that...

@x1212
YOu are absolutely right, the ending is a bit bad. But I needed to cut that as well due to time problems. That said, the planned ending wouldn't be more satisfying regarding the story, because we just didn't know ourselfs what happened xD (aside from the failed experiment which somehow messed up the world). Just not enough time to think about it ;)

Last in Time by lonesurvivor 2016-12-18T15:26:00

Well, you are certainly right that the game doesn't fit the theme overly great, but it plays technically in one room (even it is outside) in two different times. So I have to disagree with that ;)

Last in Time by lonesurvivor 2016-12-21T11:32:00

Thank you! The lab is not accessible. The original plan was that you have to go back in time while you were standing in the ruins and get into the lab that way (which would have ended the game because this would be another room). But I dropped it because time was running out.

HourGlass Collector by skorpyo 2016-12-14T23:25:00

Nice work! It was surpisingly difficult and I fell a lot on those spikes. Good job with the different "modes", was a fun experience! Ah, and the music is awesome!

VR Player Simulator by SoKette 2016-12-13T22:24:00

Nice one! I really like the graphics. Sounds are also good. Gameplay is simple but solid. Well done!

Norton and Mary by dude_the_hero 2016-12-13T15:52:00

I didn't manage to kill the rat. It always pushed me into the spieks xD. Tried to hit it while standing on its back, but it didnt work.
I liked the graphics, especially the intro is nice!

One room, one life by Ygogo 2016-12-13T12:41:00

Looks nice, but sadly I can't figure out what to to. If I try to interact with the oxygen system, nothing happens.

Dethroned by Devastus 2016-12-13T12:56:00

Nice game! I really like the graphics and the music. Gameplay feels a bit laggy: sometimes when an indicator shows up and I press the key it feels like it is registered too late. But maybe my reflexes are jsut getting bad xD

The Visitors by Michalidis 2016-12-14T21:27:00

I normally hate clicker games, but this one was well done and kept me playing till I died to the boss. Nice and fitting music and sounds, good graphics. And a little story. It just felt good clicking. Well done!

Atomic Rip-Off 9000 by AtomicRipoffTeam 2016-12-13T13:11:00

A bit too hectic for me, but a solid game!

Smallest Dungeon by Reuno 2016-12-13T20:32:00

Great game! Music is obviously excellent (can sadly only play the web version being on Linux), Graphics are great. Game looks polished. Good job!

TrainMan by Troyan 2016-12-14T21:31:00

Nice one, like the graphics. A fullscreen button would be nice though. You aslo move with the arrow keys and not with A and D.

Room 2106-B by jotson 2016-12-13T15:59:00

This is a really small game, but has a good idea behind it. Good job!

Obelisk by Almax27 2016-12-21T11:40:00

Great work. I like the graphics (the borderless sprites give the game an nice mood). Music is also good.
Enjoyed it!2

Glad You Came by Tonasz 2016-12-13T14:11:00

A kind of complicated game. I like the idea, but moving around and assigning workers feels to slow and annoying. There is also no direct feedback to the player if he is doing good. Graphics are good.
Overall, solid game with room for improvement.

AirportSecurity by Luminar_ 2016-12-13T21:19:00

Another game made with Godot! Nice! you did well, but some sounds would it so much better (although i know how laggy playing sounds is in godot...). And a way to get more time, while the game becomes more and more difficult would be nice.

One Room (webgl) by unitycoder_com 2016-12-16T10:54:00

Game is simple but slightly terrifying. Kind of reminds me of Legend of Grimrock. Like the room textures.

Pengu Cafe by Zambini 2016-12-14T23:16:00

Nice little game! I like the idea. Nice music and graphics. Enjoyed it.

Xenopunch by Pietro Ferrantelli 2016-12-16T23:46:00

Wow. Great work in every category! Nothing else to say. 5 Stars.

Storage Guy by Donar 2016-12-13T20:25:00

You can sometimes glitch under the boxes. Good game though! Graphics are nice, gameplay is smooth.

Super Jump by Insality 2016-12-13T16:11:00

Good and fun game! Fitting music and sounds.
Sometimes, it is a bit unfair though, when you are on a slow moving platform and another big slow moving platform is above you and blocks you till you are dead..

Cancelled Refuge by SinclairStrange 2016-12-13T22:14:00

It looks and sounds soo good! Would like to play it, but can't (Linux) :(

How To Cope With Boredom and Loneliness - A Guide For The Isolated - A Documentary Filmmaker Simulator by rodobodolfo 2016-12-17T18:42:00

Hilarious and sad. Excellent job with everything! There is just one a little annoying thing: If you are an impatient person like me and fast-forward the text showing up by clicking (especially in the intro), it dissapears automatically after like 0.5 seconds. It should stay a little bit longer or till you click again, so it is possible to read it.

IG/IRL by Aun 2016-12-14T13:30:00

Nice idea! Who doesn't know that situation...

Murder at the Dinner Table by ahmedrage 2016-12-13T13:06:00

Graphics are nice, Music is good. Took some time till I figured out that you have to stand right next to a person to shoot. Couldn't find the murderer though

Don't Stop Me by breno 2016-12-16T10:17:00

Nice graphics, nice music. Seems very polished. Good job!

Henry Snackleworth's Weird Day by Cerno_b 2016-12-13T10:17:00

The hitboxes are a bit weird. It is very hard to hit something wihtout getting hit yourself.
Otherwise a fun game! Music is nice, graphics too. I like the idea of fighting against everyday objects.

Bad Dreams by Sun-Wukong 2016-12-13T14:33:00

Going for sound polishing was a good idea. The atmosphere is very important for such a game, and without sounds no atmosphere...
The gameplay is very simple but solid. I really like the art style. Nice magical girl magic wand there xD.
When the fighting is over, it seems that you need to click the room part to continue (spacebar didn'T work for me). That's not so good, but whatever. Overall great game!

Tomb of the Glitch King by KappaIX 2016-12-14T21:13:00

Nice one! Good graphics, music and sounds. Enjoyed it!

In That Same Old Room by velvetlobster 2016-12-13T14:21:00

So this is cleary influenced by "The binding of isaac", a game that I played for several hundred hours xD. It looks good, the music is fine and I love the unique graphics style (never seen that before). Good animations.
The movement feels a bit laggy though. Overall very nice work!

Feeldizzy by picxinet 2016-12-13T21:35:00

Nice little game! Tried using WASD first, where only S and D are working. Was a bit confused xD. The game has a good difficulty, you really need to think before pressing a button after the screen turns around.

Neon no Nakama by SimonHutchinson 2016-12-13T16:16:00

Relaxing! A bit too slow for me though. But I like the music and the lighting. Overall, great job!
