This isn't the game I thought it would be. It is really compicated and that's cool but I was expecting a game where I could goof off in a profesional setting like Job Simulator.

I really like the look of the game, though i'm not so sure about the game play. There are so many stats, but it just doesn't feel like you have all that much control over the outcomes. I do like Papers Please though, so more things like that are welcome!

Cool idea - it would be ace to be able to see the sectors on the wall straight up, just for usability, but still cool! I like the sliding on the chair, awesome : ) Potato Dog

A kind of complicated game. I like the idea, but moving around and assigning workers feels to slow and annoying. There is also no direct feedback to the player if he is doing good. Graphics are good.
Overall, solid game with room for improvement.

A great idea, but requires a bit of study on the players part in order to maximize the full play experience. I got a feel of "papers please" too, which is really great game to be compared against. Might be worth developing further post compo.

It would be nice if I didn't have to waste time checking and memorizing the colony map before placing someone. If it was always up in the top left or something, that would smooth out the gameplay. There is also a lot of wasted time moving from the desk to the to the computer, which makes playing the game tedious. Also, almost everyone seemed to be a criminal...

It's a promising concept though.

leewalkergm 2016-12-13 18:04

I think the subtle complexity of this game is easy to miss.

The art style is comical - not sure if that's intended, but it made me giggle when they walked around.

Gripes I have with the game;
- No audio
- Took quite a while to rock forwards and backwards on the chair

Other than that, quite a good game

tylerraz 2016-12-13 18:04

Its nice one you get into the workflow rhythm and start to remember the common grid squares. Fits the theme well and with some more work could be a Martian "Papers Please."

Also, an end of day status report would be nice. Good job!

This is quite an interesting concept. Behind the simple (yet, perfectly fitting) visual style, there's quite a challenge balancing the work force of the space colony and gets very engaging. The downside is that the interface makes the gameplay a bit slow, having to go back and forth to check the table. I think it would be great if you could directly assign the workers on the board (by clicking on the sector). That way you would have the information live every time you assign a worker. Anyway, very solid work, coherent with the theme and with lots of possibilities. Congratulations!

When he rolled to the computer for the first time I laughed out loud! This game was really quite enjoyable even though it did feel like actual work. I could see myself playing a more fleshed out version for sure. Great work!

fullmontis 2016-12-14 11:31

The concept is interesting, I see you were going for a papers please feel but I feel the gameplay was kinda tedious. The fact about moving around desks didn't feel snappy, too much delay. I feel that it could work if it was simplified a bit.

nick-bota 2016-12-14 12:24

The idea behind the game is amazing, the art style is amazing as well. I love the idea of assigning people to different sectors, but typing the name of the sector makes it pretty tedious and you don't really see which sector is which if I were you I'd put an interactive map so players could click on the desired sector. Also there was no real weight to the mistakes you made, even if one of the colonists made something bad I was like "ehh, whatever". All of this being said I really hope you continue to work on this, to me it looks like a diamond in the rough!

uliana-galich 2016-12-14 17:20

no fun sorry...

weaverdeveloper 2016-12-14 21:09

The concept has potential, but unfortunately the gameplay feels like menial labor with little reward at the end of it. The graphics are nice and concise however, and that poster caught my eye

pajama-llama 2016-12-14 23:46

I found this to be very much itching my curious side but the lack of feedback on your actions made it boring fast. Only played a few days and still unsure if I did well or not. I can't wait to play a post-jam version though! :)

hadesfury 2016-12-15 20:47

Interresting game .. needs a little feedback should be great .. but you create a fun game

pierrec 2016-12-18 10:35

It's a super good idea. The going back and forth to the computer could be a lettle tedious. It might have been nice to have everything on one screen like in paper please or something. Anyway, very good job

cosinep 2016-12-23 19:01

Pretty funny game. I wish it'd end so I could see how I did! Or at least have some sort of progress / efficiency live indicator. At a certain point, and I know this was the point, it felt like work lol.

edve98 2016-12-29 19:43

graphics were nice but gameplay was too tedious. I don't think this game is form me

palys 2016-12-31 12:57

Interesting game. I've lost but had a lot of fun playing it.
