LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

Filthy And Guilty by Pajama-Llama 2014-12-09T13:45:00

Wow guys, it's great to wake up after this long weekend and see all these comments. Thank you guys!

It's a game of firsts for us, first wholly coded game for me(Dave), first pixel art game(Stan) and first Ludum Dare(Juda) so these comments help a lot.

Thanks for the feedback! We wanted the player to have more interactions (like shine a lamp in the crook's face or throw water in their face) but unfortunately that didn't make it in. The talking and walking speed is also something that we do wanna tweak.
We do get the problems with the gameplay and are sorry to hear that, but it's a fine learning experience that we'll think about improving!

Thanks guys!
Now I'm off to play some other jam-games. ;)

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Mable: The Journey by tripleVisionGames 2015-04-30T16:15:00

Cool game, I liked the graphics and the music.
A bit harder than I expected it to be. At first I didn't really get how to battle the enemies, but it worked out.

I'll be following your devlog!

Super Dash by FireSlash 2015-04-28T10:55:00

wasn't easy with a mouse, but overall well done

Rainyblow Bash by ceosol 2015-04-28T11:06:00

Overall a bit weird (which, was probably the intention). I could float midair by shooting down and the (boss) monkey-creature was really buggy but it was fun nevertheless :)

Shrimpworld by garat 2015-04-28T11:14:00

I guess I'm repeating others, but the lack of animations really hurt the game. Good use of voxels though, I've been seeing lots of new games utilizing them in a well manner.

Ion cannon by umb16 2015-04-23T16:11:00

Damn you, I have to rate other games too you now! :p Cool core concept and in line with the theme! Really expandable too I think :)

Internet Argument Simulator by Jessica Hayley 2015-04-28T11:34:00

Quite the original idea, quite refreshing to play. I did however end up just mass typing curse words in order to keep my sanity up instead of actually thinking about what I'm writing. Overall though, good job!

LD37 — One room

13 jellyfish by Four Quarters 2016-12-13T15:58:00

Amazing! Great concept and execution of the theme. You really got the total package of music, great pixel art and nice simple gameplay that doesn't get boring.

I'm not sure what the pirate with the anchor on his belly did though.

Galactic Petting Zoo!!! by BoneDaddy 2016-12-14T22:59:00

Cute! And those sound effects are extra amazing when you think of who made them and how.

Mead and Murder! by Cyros 2016-12-14T22:40:00

Wew! A 3D game made in Godot <3. Couldn't test it with two players but I can imagine the gameplay quite well. Getting some physics on the hammer for the player and not just the objects might be a nice touch as well.

Geometry Room Survival by vg_iba 2016-12-14T20:53:00

It became really stressful at the 2 minute mark, cool stuff, no frills but very playable! 5/5 for audio :)

RailStand by salyon 2016-12-15T18:25:00

That was really cool! Love the non-direct combat and cool pixel art.
At one point I did get a bit overpowered, when upgrading both sides a 4-5 times :p

Also I think the sun going out at the end of each day is a bit annoying. You could maybe add some lights to the enemies and your bullet so you can still know where they are?

Anyway, great job!

AFK by efno 2016-12-15T00:06:00

Your existence is meaningless :). Some more humor and a faster lightbulb replacement would probably make for a better experience though. The random moonwalks to the radiator and the story throughout the day were a cool touch :D

Claustrophobia by JOrbits 2016-12-14T22:16:00

Kinda unclear where you'll actually put the objects on the map once you start rotating, until you get the hang of it. We actually thought up something like this but more freeform, very glad someone ended up doing a 3D tetris so well! Also love the 4-lamp one, such a tough one.

Vespias: Battle for the pentacle by Xwilarg 2016-12-14T23:16:00

Cool game! Though the room concept wasn't very pronounced, and the AZERTY controls were cumbersome :)

Though I'm still not sure how I attacked but going for the squishies sure worked. I actually liked the assets, very functional but still stylish. More visual feedback on attacks could add a lot here! Awesome that you're doing this as students and your school supported you.

Room51 by LDP 2016-12-13T12:41:00

It was fun to keep playing and dodging the enemies, not killing them was fun to see how many I could amass!

Let them in by Wildebeest Studio 2016-12-13T14:34:00

Really cool visuals and audio! Love it :)
Could use some more feedback on when the door opens maybe.
I also assumed the guys with the daggers should't be allowed to enter? But not sure since there's no losing state.

Toddle Topplers by TheHighChairs 2016-12-13T13:57:00

Had fun playing this game! Got stuck underneath a lot of furniture but broke out from under my opponent.

Alice in The Wonder Room by lusternite 2016-12-14T23:03:00

Didn't know what I could do against the knight! Particles would also spice this up nicely, the movement controls are fluid and fast which was nice.

Light Kea by TeamSemiColon 2016-12-13T14:07:00

Great art, fun game! Was nice to try and get those fireballs!

Toy Box Metropolis by SecondDimension 2016-12-15T18:49:00

Pretty cool, you got a lot of stuff in there for a gamejam.
Graphics are nice and simple yet readable. Loved the upgrading.

Not sure how it really fits the theme, gameplay wise it doesn't matter much.
It could also be more challenging if building a certain building would affect the buildings around it. Sort of like Sim City where a factory degrades the value of a house next to it. Right now it felt a bit too easy.

radnet by radmars 2016-12-14T23:36:00

Cool 'one room' solution I'd never thought of! I also like the art of the file icons, definitely must've been fun to make for everyone involved.

Possessed Room by nodoxi 2016-12-13T15:25:00

Damn, that was pretty cool! Well done.
Changing between candle and crusifix works great for the tension.

This would be amazing if you added some audio and tension building eery music.
Nice pixel graphics too!

Glad You Came by Tonasz 2016-12-14T23:46:00

I found this to be very much itching my curious side but the lack of feedback on your actions made it boring fast. Only played a few days and still unsure if I did well or not. I can't wait to play a post-jam version though! :)

Paper Cutter by mdzimmer 2016-12-15T00:21:00

Cool idea, I could keep clicking and kill everything without a sweat though.

The killer is in this room by t4u 2016-12-14T22:33:00

Loved the Ludum Dare references, and the polished feel of both the game's graphics and flow. The information sheet regarding the murder and the proverbs when accusing were a nice touch. Everybody loves a detective puzzle every now and then!

Guns n' Crates by MrMordem 2016-12-14T23:06:00

Great setting and art guys, especially liked the background and handheld environment.

You're the Boss by trenchgames 2016-12-15T00:31:00

Couldn't defeat link :(

Tree House Quest by AngrySquirrels 2016-12-15T12:26:00

Really cool! Though -no surprise- I didn't find the theme really used. The art and gameplay was both nostalgic, polished, and humorous, so kudos for that! Loved how each zone was different, couldn't have been easy.

EntROOMpreneur by Pajama-Llama 2016-12-15T10:29:00

Thanks everybody for the kind comments!

We're definitely thinking about polishing it up. If we do we'll you guys know via our Twitter (@_PajamaLLama) and our Facebook page (@PajamaLlamaGames).

Daedalight by Sundr0 2016-12-14T22:53:00

^Definitely a game worth trying, the drawings and text on the walls were funny and not in-your-face, which I liked. The room with all three maps was also a very cool feature. Great concept!

Studio Apartment Simulator by EmptyThroneTeam 2016-12-14T12:08:00

Hey, your link doesn't seem to be working. :(

The Dash Club by bigbuggames 2016-12-13T14:32:00

Haha, had some fun! In one run I (broke?) it by having a blue tile 4 times really fast and I was kicked offscreen.

Room One by BlackQuiltro 2016-12-14T23:55:00

Stylish and cool, will you work on it some more postjam? I'm also a fan of the suggestion for keyboard shortcuts for the squad members.

Pixel Artist Simulator by aamatniekss 2016-12-13T15:13:00

Wow, too real for me man. Cool pixel art :) Would love to hire you for some sweet ass exposure!

The One Room Experiment by Siegfried Croes 2016-12-14T21:31:00

This was great and an ingenious use of the theme! Great style, and scope :). 9000!

LiftBoy by stepp 2016-12-14T23:52:00

Would be fun if the passengers automatically exited the lift, but it's great that you made something that works and isn't buggy or at least not that I have found any bugs. The door can be tricky at first but you definitely get used to that.

There's no incentive to keep playing though once you've had a few points.
