Liked the big assortment of furniture pieces, the models looked really nice. Trying to figure out exactly where the pieces would be placed was a little confusing, but overall great job.

Just as an information for other people playing my game:
The middle of the square, where the next object is showed, will be the place where the object will be placed under the mouse. I hope you understand.

@kebb Thank you for your comment.

Graphics are very nice!!! Like the style.

Awesome and fun game! A different take on tetris/blockout (maybe you could put the possibility of piling the furniture?). Cheers!

I like the graphics! Gameplay is fun and hard. Theme used very well!

Idea is interesting, graphics is pretty good, but controls are inconvenient. Player needs to know where exactly will he/she put a furniture, but game doesn't show it. Simple highlighting of target tiles will be very helpful. ) Also tutorial level with low speed would be nice.

Really interesting!

First - areas for improvement - even once you've got the hang of the placing and the rotation, it's sometimes a bit tough to tell where you are placing objects, some of the colours looked a bit similar to me, and it would have been nice to have a slightly longer music loop as you could be playing for quite a bit.

That said, after I got the hang of it and reset, I actually played for quite a while longer than I intended to, because I was really having fun. It's a really good take on a tetris-like game.

Really glad I got to play this! Well done and thanks for sharing!

Good idea with the theme. I think there's missing a little balance with the points. At overall it's a good game.

raaaahman 2016-12-14 21:45

Fun, a nice take on the theme and a good variety of pieces. Very hard to get a positive score! :p

The games would have gained in quality with more contrast between the colors, but this concept stays incredibly addictive and captivating. But an end to the game would have been great though!

Good job!

Kinda unclear where you'll actually put the objects on the map once you start rotating, until you get the hang of it. We actually thought up something like this but more freeform, very glad someone ended up doing a 3D tetris so well! Also love the 4-lamp one, such a tough one.

The graphics are pretty cool, very smooth and well composed visual, some things could be added, like a check for game over when you get stuck and fix the bug with those "four chair piece". I Had fun with your game and figured out how to control quickly, things worked fine.

Overall, nice work! :)

This is a good entry :)
The controls were nice and simple, the graphics were nice and it was genuine fun to play. The scoring's a bit harsh, though xD

Nice try, top view looks good.

zkenshin 2016-12-16 21:50

This was a neat idea, nice job!

illutax 2016-12-18 10:38

Cool tetris remake!

pierrec 2016-12-18 10:44

Very nice entry once you get it! (at first I just try to place the furnitures to have a nice home, Sims like, turns out the Tetris version is way more fun!)

manax 2016-12-27 23:55

Nicely done. Good concept.

Agree with another that a slightly long music loop would have been nice. The lamps were a good addition.

Dimensions of my display cut off part of instructions, and although I prefer full screen, I guess that's a benefit of windowed mode. ;)

Neat idea! I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum Dare 37 games, if you’d like to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/7yEaPmt36yU
