Very pretty
I could not figure out how to play. It looks real nice.
Very good concept. I won but I'm not entirely sure why. It was just guesswork. Graphics look excellent.
Gorgeous game. The art assets are very nice. I have no clue what I am doing in the game and had a hard time accomplishing anything. Moving around also took ages, and I didn't see a reason for it to take so long to get around. I feel as though you should be able to access and interact with more stuff, but it isn't obvious how to do so. Gorgeous and fun, would like it to be a bit more welcoming play wise.
Some of the best pixel art I've seen! The music really helps sell the atmosphere too. The characters have a lot of personality. Once you find out which cop matches which crook, it ends a bit quickly, but still a great game!
awesome graphics and mood, the music kind of repetitive but I loved how it looks. didn't got far though. I'm gonna play it later
Interesting idea! The art is absolutely amazing!
Really good, the graphics are well done
I really love the mood for this game! The random character talk is just beautiful, too. My only problem is, surprisingly, the gameplay; all you do is mash buttons (slowly) to win; it'd be great if there was some "inference" or "deduction". Also, I was kind of expecting that having two cops in one room changes things (like good cop/bad cop). All in all, the first game I rated that really drew me into the world.
Super graphics, really well written, and good music. The story was a little confusing but good work.
oh my god this is incredible. unbelievable.
prettiest game and best mood yet.
Great art and concept. I like how the idea makes something of the theme and doesn't just use it as constraint. I had a bit of an hard time figuring out how to move the game along.
Wow guys, it's great to wake up after this long weekend and see all these comments. Thank you guys!
It's a game of firsts for us, first wholly coded game for me(Dave), first pixel art game(Stan) and first Ludum Dare(Juda) so these comments help a lot.
Thanks for the feedback! We wanted the player to have more interactions (like shine a lamp in the crook's face or throw water in their face) but unfortunately that didn't make it in. The talking and walking speed is also something that we do wanna tweak.
We do get the problems with the gameplay and are sorry to hear that, but it's a fine learning experience that we'll think about improving!
Thanks guys!
Now I'm off to play some other jam-games. ;)
Nice looking.
I win but... why? I don't make anything (I mean really...)
I spent a lot of time trying to turn off the fan (to, after, give some water...)...
Loved the amount of character that went into the art, it was really nice. I thought you were trying to do some ambitious stuff with figuring out who to use to interrogate whom, and the revelation of different information over time, though some of it felt a little flat (maybe just time constraints to iterate on that style of interaction). There wasn't much build-up between figuring out what was going on and solving the case - when I won it was sort of a surprise. Also, even though everyone had a ton of character, I found myself spamming through the options to figure out the match because of the time pressure, instead of losing myself in the fantasy of the world. I'd say this idea is worth exploring further! Nice work.
As some others have said already, it's a bit confusing why exactly certain actions work and lead to winning the game. I played and won twice, but I'm not entirely certain why I won on each occasion.
I knew it had something to do with using specific characters (perhaps in a sequence) to soften up specific people so that you could get the middle guy to give in. It just seemed really vulnerable to guesswork, and players can do things by brute forcing their way through the game rather than thinking about why certain things work/don't work.
It's a nice concept, very nice graphical style, intense mood... but the gameplay itself isn't terribly intuitive to figure out. I think that if there were a focus on less player controlled characters then some of the mechanics may have been more obvious for this size of game. 4 characters all at once is a bit... much to throw at someone at once while figuring everything else out. The same could actually go for how many people to interrogate... since having three people but only seemingly needing to interrogate two to win... seems like there's definitely some stuff that could have been cut to make things clearer.
Try to focus on introducing mechanics to the player in a way that builds up rather than tries to do it all at once. But overall, good job!

5 Star Graphics! Loved the art style, and fun game and nice music!
Wow on every aspect except the game mechanics, I expected more from the settings and you were going in the right direction but maybe focused to much on polishing the look and feel. Anyway very impressive!
There isn't much gameplay to it... You just press space and hope for a win :/
Graphics are excpetionnal though and the music is nice (a bit repetitive maybe), but that doesn't make a game
Well Done! Graphics are amazing. I like the suspense due to the music and the countdown. I mean the whole atmosphere is really cool. But I have to agree with other comments. I have won but I still don't know where the bomb is or who are the suspects.
