Wow, it's genuinely one of the best games i've played on this jam. Platforming is nice, game itself is very creative and fun. Some "game modes"(i guess), didn't work as well as the others, but it's still a great game overall.

I couldn't get past the Newton level, but I really wanted to see what the later levels were going to be.
I liked that you didn't have to start from the very beginning when you died and that you respawned immediately. The rule changes were interesting and unexpected. This would be much better with controller support. Some of the platform jumps were too difficult to do with the keyboard.

@kakarotsan Well it's the hardest level according to players. But it's just a matter of time until you adopt to it. Controller support would be great, but this is our second game. I wish I had more experience to do that. And you can watch full walkthrough on youtube. Thanks for the comment.

Challenging and enjoyable gameplay with nice audio and graphics, fun game.
This game was so immersive! I finished the game to the end. The gameplay was so fun. Every time there is something new, a new challenge. The audio and graphics of the game went so well together. I usually don't play or like 2D game but this game won my heart in that department. Excellent game. Keep it up!

Despite the simple visuals your game has a heart of gold and just works. I had a lot fun. Controls are spot on and every new hourglass gives the player a new surprise. Using the mouse as a design element was a nice touch.
Two very minor things regarding controller support:
A game like this should really support the D-Pad. Playing it with thumbsticks was a bit weird.
You assigned "quit game" to one of the controller buttons, which could lead to frustration if someone decided to try other buttons later in the game and accidentally booted themselves out of the game.

Awesome game! I liked how you had those subtle hints of what the next gimmick would be. The music was really nice as well, maybe a little bit unfitting, but still good to listen to. I can't really say things that bothered me, maybe the jumping felt a little bit clunky, but that didn't annoy me that much. Best entry I played so far!

This game is so good in so many ways... It's challenging and rewarding, it's fun and engaging with an awesome soundtrack. Graphics are good, gameplay is super original and very well crafter. Bravo
I wanted it to never end because every rule was very different than the last one :) I really like it. I died all my deaths in Newton part :P
Nice work! It was surpisingly difficult and I fell a lot on those spikes. Good job with the different "modes", was a fun experience! Ah, and the music is awesome!
Passed. I liked very much. Changing the gameplay as the game progresses - cool idea. Most liked the level with a flashlight.
That was some pretty cool mechanics, nice way to shake things up.
Nice take on the theme with upbeat music and simple play style. Finished and died 14 times, mostly at the mouse section. Very nice!

Really amusing little platformer! It's fun to see what the next change in mechanic is, and you got quite a bit of good ones in there. Nice work!
That was quite enjoyable! There was a lot of mechanics jammed into this, many of which could be used to make a whole game around by themselves, so bravo! I think really the only critique I have about the game is that death has a very little impact, the sfx for it could be mistaken as a button being pressed (often a good thing). A bit of screenshake would have have gone a long way there, but understandable that it was not implemented due to jam time constraints.

This is an absolutely fantastic entry, it's original, challenging, fun to play and fits the "one room" theme in a perfect way. Level design might appear bland at first glance, but once the mechanics start to change you can see how cleverly designed it is. Graphics may be on the simple side, but they work perfectly. It would be a real pity if someone decides not to play this game based on the looks. Definitely one of my favorites from this LD edition so far, congratulations on making this!!!
Nicely done! My favorite modes were "spotlight" and the one where the stage goes away while you're jumping. The darkness was the most frustrating part for me - I hadn't memorized the stage, and the reset was so quick I couldn't tell what I had run into.

Cool! I died 27 times. The newton one was the hardest for me. The ideas were great and the level design must've been really hard for it to work with all the different mechanics.

P.S the flash light part looked nothing like the screenshot! Probably something with the porting to HTML5 got it wrong (there was no black at all, the walls were simply invisible if they were outside of the radius of the flashlight)
@dietzribi It's a special "flashlight". This "mode" is supposed to be that way =)
Very innovative and quite fun to me. Only real problem with this game is lack of levels so I encourage you to make a full game.
Reminds me of a flash game called "This is the only level", I love it!
Excellent variety of mechanics, one of the most innovative games I've played this LD. The pointer challenge was surprisingly difficult. But my favorite was the flashlight, although darkening the rest of the level would have really helped sell it.

Very nice game. Good audio, although I think graphics could be slightly improved. Reminds me of "This is the Only Level." I died 17 times.
My only real criticism is that the Newton level seemed unnecessarily difficult for some reason - I'm really not sure how to fix it. I think the problem was that missing a single jump could make it so that the level had to be restarted.

this is a very entertaining game. The music keeps me happy, which keeps me trying, the fact that the scene changes with every hourglass collected is super awesome too. Good job!
First I thought "oh, this is a very generic game" but how wrong was I? Nice variation and it was pretty enjoyable. Died 57 times.
Great game! Graphics look really neat and sharp, music is really fun. Everything works as they should, but the jumping was a bit too fast for me. I only managed to get the sandglass maybe 4 or 5 times, so I might not be the best judge. The levels seemed to get progressively harder, which is pretty amazing considering the time and game's design. Only major reason I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have was the difficulty level. But that doesn't make the game objectively worse :)
Excellent game, the one I had the most fun playing so far. I loved playing all of the variants, the fact that they switched often kept things fresh. The "spotlight" one stood out to me for its originality.
The music is another good surprise, being upbeat, pleasant and just varied enough not to feel repetitive.
The simple, not too cohesive graphics are the low aspect of the game for I didn't really care, the platforming was solid, and the idea well executed.
Finished with 26 deaths, most of them in the Newton sequence ;)
