LD30 — Connected Worlds

The Lion's Song by LeafThief 2014-08-28T16:41:00

This game's music, story and graphics create a really nice atmosphere. The only problem is the length of it and that's all.

Connecting LD30 to the Real World by Will Edwards 2014-08-26T16:18:00

I cannot really open the game. It says 'Sorry, could not initialize webGL'

Hypnagogia by Cake&Code 2014-08-26T21:08:00

The game is really good. Nicely polished. And graphics are very sweet, I liked 20-sided dice monster especially :D The only thing is that it is very repetitive. If you would add more of a story or different content like that, it would be awesome. Good luck!

Heart Star by AdventureIslands 2014-08-30T11:54:00

This would be a classic if it was released in 80s. Right now I don't know how it would do in today's market but the idea and realization is so good. I imagined a multiplayer mode where players act in real time, not by turn :)

One Ship Two Ship Redshift Blueshift by 01010111 2014-09-01T22:29:00

Wow this is quite impressive. Single player option is awesome to have. Everything looks and functions properly. I think there was a little bit of lag on my browser though.

Crowded Street by PTSnoop 2014-08-26T14:15:00

Good idea. When you select or connect, a little response from the game (like sound or animation) would be nice. However I liked innovative approach.

Switchboard Connection by Scott Baker 2014-08-30T17:26:00

It was an interesting experiment to be the person behind the calls. I think graphics and sound could be better to support the good mechanic. You may consider adding a drag and drop rather than click and click again. Also I couldn't get that pegs were in couples at the beginning. They could be in different colors.

Omnis by bytegrove 2014-09-02T22:47:00

Except strange looking graphics, I think this is a great entry. Wish you would add more variety to gameplay, it might get boring to kill worshippers after a while. Still, it made me feel the tension.

Sun God Star Bridge by Ted Brown 2014-09-02T22:15:00

That was really a lot of fun with its dynamic looks but graphics, music and sound effects need to be worked on further. Boss battles could vary. Buying continues is a good idea.

Just an Otter Game by Logan 2014-09-15T16:00:00

This is the most innovative entry I've seen in Ludum Dare 30. I didn't care much about the graphics or sound after seeing the idea. I think even more games could be added. It's awesome.

Connected Worlds by bob_fish 2014-08-29T14:37:00

I should accept that it was quite fun to play this entry. I liked how challenging evil cows are(!) and that it is clear to the player where the game goes. Wish it was longer. Graphics and music need more effort. That's pretty all.

Onomo by plash 2014-08-26T02:58:00

Very good mood! Would love to have some interaction on this.

Mor by Ditto 2014-09-02T21:59:00

This is very thought-provoking. Animations, graphics, sounds are well done. I think this makes into my list as one of the most awesome games.

Tribe of the Giant by MerlijnVH 2014-08-28T10:18:00

Graphics look really cool but I feel like I don't have much control and I win or lose randomly. Because I was eating all the time but not winning in the end.. There is not much of a strategy, or is there? It's pretty confusing but good looking game I'd say.

I Must See You by Split82 2014-09-02T21:39:00

I would love to be able to rotate the map by holding down the middle mouse button. Other than that, it was quite short. However graphics and the mechanic were superb.

The Torment Isles by Matt Hartley 2014-08-27T08:48:00

In my opinion it's too short and doesn't cover much. Even though they get stuck sometimes and you can use it as an advantage, enemy AI is quite cool. There could be a music in the background. Still, I liked it :)

Spaced Out by darkshadow 2014-08-29T18:56:00

A decent game. I like the controls. Also the planets look great. You could put some limit on the zoom, as I could see almost everything happening around me by zooming out really far. Some more action, like powerups, fuel, other dangers (stars, black holes, asteroids) would be cool :) good job in overall.

Or|Bit by blurryroots 2014-08-26T02:21:00

I'm having the same problem.

Elemental by Aurel Bílý 2014-08-26T17:15:00

This game is really good mate. Wish you had more time to complete it but it's not a problem at all. It might be my favorite compo entry till now.

Blue Screen by varun 2014-08-29T22:14:00

Nice concept and quite good execution. One of the most polished 48h I've played so far. Nicely done!

E.T.I.T. by BinaryPie 2014-08-29T12:56:00

I really liked the game. I only wish the gravitational forces were a little bit stronger far away from planets, so that I would be able to do some cool G-turns :) anyway. Good game!

Me And My Ghost by jahlgren 2014-08-28T02:25:00

Masterfully constructed levels. I was surprised how much this forced me to play with higher and higher precision and more and more focus. Really loved that entry. Great job!

CosmicCom: Connecting Worlds by deathray 2014-08-26T15:53:00

I enjoyed it even though there is not much of a challenge :)
I got tired of clicking after a point tbh.
- Satellite building percentage goes over 100%

Nexopoly by billknye 2014-08-26T12:30:00

You could show the controls somewhere in the game. Other than that it's a tiny pretty game of monopoly. Graphics may be enhanced but that's not big of a deal. Oh and repeating jumping sound is annoying.

Lotus by doos 2014-08-26T20:05:00

A good puzzle game. Could be clearer (not easier) and graphics could help that actually.

ComboTwin by c023-dev 2014-08-26T21:34:00

Simple and good idea. However I don't know if it gets difficult after a while. If it does, it's so slow so I got bored and quit playing after 120ish score. It's quite repetitive.

ConnectTheWorlds by mrexcessive 2014-08-26T14:37:00

Sounds are disturbing, especially that alarm. Gameplay is good but everything needs polishing.

NECLiD by 0x0961h 2014-08-27T08:38:00

Very clear entry for a compo game. Even though the mechanic is taken from Sokoban, changing the world adding a new dimension to it. It also fits the theme very well. My only concern was the music that could be better.

Cohack by Exeneva 2014-08-27T08:58:00

I favor the enemy AI and the fact that there are more than 1 of them. Nice little turn-based game even though I'm not a fan of neon graphics.

Binary System by rogueNoodle 2014-09-15T22:33:00

I'm not a fan of this kind of casual games, I like to get into the game with a lot of user interaction and story (it's obvious from our entry I guess) but I think for a casual game it's really clean, simple and it works. I can see this as a mobile game, if you haven't done it yet you can consider doing.

Pogo the Universe by Nick Weihs 2014-09-01T14:47:00

Cool physics and story but really hard to understand how it really works.

Afterlife Dance Party by Wertle 2014-09-01T14:42:00

Very good mechanic, if graphics would be polished it could make a really good game.

Battle Of Solis by Super Hamster 2014-08-30T17:45:00

This mechanic is really good that I'm so sad it wasn't realized well. Graphics need to be redone. The game lags a lot. Sound and music would also help. I think this could be something bigger than this. I guess time limit didn't allow. Would like to play a post-compo version.

Hexahedron by Jon Fischer 2014-08-27T10:20:00

It looks more like a design tool than a game. However could be turned to a game since building mechanic is ready. I liked how you can see what other players did before.

The Quest For The Missing Baby by Ofursnati 2014-08-29T14:04:00

As I told you before, there are a lot of little fixes you need here and there, visually and technically. I liked how the graphics and music changes when you swap the worlds.

1989 to 2014 by McFunkypants 2014-09-01T22:54:00

Have fun playing mate :)

ShiftKeeper by egor-idiot 2014-08-28T01:49:00

Nice game. Very challenging. Very good graphics and theme usage. Good job with this one.

GET Connected by sephyka 2014-09-01T14:26:00

I think the idea is so innovative and could be expanded. Pity that it's short. Hope you plan to go for a full release version.

Flicker by PapaCheech 2014-09-01T23:49:00

The idea is very innovative. I could reach 18 at my first attempt, I guess it's not that good :)

Planet Wanderer by StuffBySpencer 2014-09-01T13:40:00

Thanks for your comment and stream earlier :) I took notes while I play so here they are:
- There is no need to make loading bar 3D if it fills up in 3D :)
- I liked the story at the beginning, nicely written.
- Not very necessary but you could put a little shadow under creatures.
- I loved the gameplay and boss mechanics together with the graphics. They need more work but they have a style.
- The game is quite short for 72 hours in my opinion.

This reminded me of Titan Sould a little :) Very good entry!

Ludum Galaxy 64 by AtomicVikings 2014-08-28T15:28:00

Really liked the game. It was very similar to what we've made, as you've mentioned on your stream. Good job with this one! It would be nice to see some goal that I could pursue. Also. This is veery easy to understand. I had no problem whatsoever to know what to do! Great job.

H.O.C.M.A. by Techblogogy 2014-08-26T19:59:00

I couldn't really find the game hidden there. I'm adding atoms and I pass the level. It looks kind of interesting though. Ah and music is so repetitive.

Solar War by Reyn 2014-08-27T21:55:00

It is a solid idea and a game. Everything is simple and clear. I couldn't try it multiplayer but I'm sure it's fun.

The Great Space Ambassador by Beardo Games 2014-08-26T19:30:00

I played the game just now. It's alright but except the concept not very attractive to play. Here is my feedback.
- The text at the beginning is not that readable.
- The floor image has a seam.
- Game fits the theme but trying to find the right option out of many is not much of a game in my opinion.
- Idea of trying to satisfy different representatives is great.
- Graphics and humor is not bad.

Sunny Days by Jacob123 2014-08-26T21:13:00

Cute little game with a few bugs.

Ports Ahoy! The Age of Trade by Literal Games 2014-08-29T14:39:00

I think this is the base of a great game incoming. I like micromanagement a lot already so I would love to see this become something bigger than this. With more upgrades and interaction. Graphics are not my style but they fit each other.

What Would You Do with a Quantum Computer? by Animated 2014-08-29T21:47:00

Cool little game :) enjoyed it.

The World Within by Oxeren 2014-09-01T23:06:00

I've managed to finish the game and wished it was more rage-free :) I think you spent a lot of time for graphics, that's visible. However graphics should be only a part of the job, not the whole thing. Hope next time you will spend more time on game play and level design to make it more fun to play. (It was still fun for me though, I like raging :P)

Isles in the Sky by Tanner 2014-08-29T14:16:00

Character movement is really slow and quality of graphics could be enhanced. Other than that, it's a quite innovative game.

Disconnecting People by Once Upon a Team 2014-08-28T19:43:00

Great idea and really smooth gameplay. Graphics and sound compliment each other. Good entry I'd say.

Matters of Perspective by nesis 2014-08-29T13:55:00

I wrote this on my list of innovative games because the mechanic is really original (at least I haven't seen it before) You can polish the graphics and sound, you have the skills for level design. Release it and it will sell a lot :)

Notes from a Mad Mage by Razoric 2014-09-01T22:01:00

The ghost mechanic is not that original since there are a few titles used it before but not in this kind of game so it counts as original. I used my ghost mages as an army of destruction :D Very good game with everything complete imo.

Sinister by Joe Williamson 2014-08-30T11:57:00

Graphics are awesome. Music is great. However it's really short even for a Compo entry. I think time was a factor here. Hope you plan to make it to a longer game with the same atmosphere.

Any Moment by Jakub Koziol 2014-09-01T13:53:00

I think you already know that this is not a game but an experimental interactive something. It's awesome to listen though. Record sounds very natural.

CONET by glenaskey 2014-08-26T12:15:00

You may consider changing the mouse cursor thing to screen center cause to get cursor and interactive object at the same spot is quite hard. And you can put controls listed in the game. I managed to pass first two doors but I didn't get the third.

S**p Random Story by KiAn 2014-08-26T15:20:00

There are some bugs like planets spawning next to you all of a sudden or the arm (that looks like tongue) gets stuck at somewhere but gravity centers work very well. It looks like our game's arcade version :)

Generation Ship by Shide 2014-08-28T16:20:00

I liked the AI voice and that player is free to choose when he is able to.

Abstrakt by ViliX64 2014-08-26T16:16:00

Nice social message but gameplay and graphics are not that nice, I'm sorry. Making play fight himself is quite a good concept though.

Abstrakt by ViliX64 2014-08-26T16:16:00

Nice social message but gameplay and graphics are not that nice, I'm sorry. Making player fight himself is quite a good concept though.

Midgord Vikings by sandbaydev 2014-09-02T22:35:00

Would be really nice to have a tutorial or information in the game about Shaman and Blacksmith. I didn't know what they are for. Also the barrel and the torch. Graphics are really nice and I would like to see this becoming a full game with lots and lots of building types, viking roles and so on.

Chipset-0 by deepnight 2014-08-27T19:11:00

It's probably my favorite Compo entry. Short but clean. I haven't experienced any bugs. Graphics and sound are also complimenting each other. Would like the story to continue in the end :)

Star Turtle 64 by chikun Dev Team 2014-08-27T13:23:00

I enjoyed the game for a while but then it got very repetitive after 3rd planet. Graphics are kind of disturbing. Still a complete little game. Good luck :)

Planetary Marriage Counseling by WeaselZone 2014-08-31T14:13:00

I could get through the restaurant after my 86395592457th try and it wasn't that hard y'know :P I think difficulty is a problem and controls are another. Because I discovered later that you go top-left direction when you push up (I guess it was like that) I would expect to go up when I push up tbh. Good humor and fine graphics.

Jessie and Jack by rnlf 2014-08-28T14:36:00

I really liked the style of graphics, music and sound effects. It has obviously a retro feel to it. I think you could give the controls to player in some other way instead of a sliding text. I couldn't get shooting work or couldn't find the weapon, I don't know. However passing items through portals are really cool and it fits the theme. Good luck!

Connecting Worlds by SojaBird 2014-09-03T08:40:00

It's really hard to actually succeed at this but it's quite fun. Wish you would write what are the controls for, like in a word or two, next to them. Good entry.

Warmageddon by schizokoa 2014-08-28T14:28:00

I couldn't try it on my tablet but according to what I've seen on Web Player, this seems like a great use of theme and innovation. I have seen this idea before but it didn't look this nice with graphics and concept. Very well done.

Expedition by holgk 2014-08-29T13:53:00

I think you can find a story which does not set the aim but affects the game in a way. There can be many features added to the game. Try to be creative. I liked this basic version. You also don't have to go 3D if you don't really use it :)

House of Demise (Horror/Puzzle) by RawboSaurX 2014-09-15T22:57:00

Probably players said 'too many controls' seeing above list but actually there is 'too little' in my opinion. I loved animations, how the game looks like and the atmosphere more than anything. I could play a longer game like this without more action than this and with a storyline without getting bored at all. Awesome job. Gratz.

Coplanarity by awsumpwner27 2014-08-27T10:16:00

That's a really good idea of moving portals around there. Like playing portal without a portal gun.

I Think I Broke Something by Otrora Games 2014-08-29T14:11:00

It's a really fast and fun but repetitive game. Might be a good mobile game if you would like to release.

The Wild West And Its' Living Fossils by toinfiniityandbeyond 2014-08-30T17:06:00

This visually looks really nice. I didn't like how you cannot see what's coming on your way and which direction it is coming from in Single Player. Music is cool. Also sometimes the arm of character turns upside down. I think this could be a better game with more features, same graphic style and some changes on gameplay.

Hello Worlds by dustyroom 2014-09-01T22:49:00

I guess you also noticed that clicking is not the best option for this :) Graphics are awesome, sounds fit very well but mechanic needs some more salt&pepper to be called fun. Very clean entry, a few tiny bugs and that's all :)

Inverted | Endless Runner by oranebeast 2014-08-26T15:01:00

Nice little game. The sudden death bug really exist though and I couldn't figure out how to win when both sides have same color of obstacle. Oh also music is good.

BeatGarden by Pfeyffer 2014-08-29T22:09:00

Nice mechanic and would make a great mobile/flash game in my opinion :)

Space Explorer by Rock48 2014-08-26T20:25:00

The distance to the planet does not update and there is not much to do in the game. However I liked the warp animation and how similar it is to our game :D

Rift Walker by Skills641 2014-08-26T02:27:00

Sounds and graphics are tiring, but nice idea.

Where Did The Stars Go? by mechabit 2014-09-15T23:32:00

Interesting idea with walking on a planet but I felt like spending most of my time walking to reach plants or snails. Also couldn't get the point of second level really. I think this might be something if there were more variation to what player can do. Cute little game, liked it.

Salvation by 43iscoding 2014-08-29T14:01:00

The idea of saving people through a portal is great. Mechanic is also great. However the game lacks other stuff like atmosphere, music and graphics. It's also quite short. Has potential, you just have to work on it further. I liked that planets are randomly colored.

High Flyer[DEMO] by Mallot1 2014-08-26T16:27:00

Nice little game but it makes you rage when you fail close to the end. Also recommend you to show controls on the intro screen and to start player a little lower so you don't die immediately.

Zanlings Match - Connected Worlds by Franklin's Ghost 2014-09-14T14:27:00

As you wrote above, there is not much content right now but the idea is really good :) I wished to have more control. Good luck if you want to develop it further.

Two Empires by Tosic 2014-08-29T14:12:00

You have to work hard on your skills. Still a good attempt though. Good luck.

Superdimensional by PixelMind 2014-09-02T23:31:00

Fantastic entry!

R-elink: A link between worlds by RaycoSantana 2014-08-27T10:38:00

It's a really nice mechanic! At last level I lost my ability, I guess that's a bug and I wish character was a little faster in move.

Elyseus by Crocanti de Pollo 2014-09-15T23:41:00

It's a great idea however the character's attack range is not working at all. I guess he is actually faster than enemy at attacking so if you run towards them and attack, you succeed. But this doesn't make much sense if you don't support it with graphics. I think graphics could use a little polish but other than that I kinda liked it.

Close Your Eyes by nonetheless 2014-08-29T13:59:00

The only thing questionable would be the Theme category here which is interpreted in a way or other. It goes into my Awesome Entries list even though I'm not a fan of puzzle games. I loved graphics and music :)

Lady Lyla by whalebot 2014-09-02T21:49:00

Definitely needs sound/music. I think I didn't miss anything, it was just incomplete. Liked the animations, wish you could finish it on time.

Transforce by ZoneOne2 2014-08-28T15:39:00

That game is just soo awesome! I love force/time games like that. Great job.

> Continue by ratking 2014-09-02T21:18:00

It is a very original idea to make players write the story by themselves. If it was a game played by hundreds or thousands of players, would be really interesting with that many storylines. Very innovative entry.

This Little Piggy... by InfectionTeam 2014-08-30T10:36:00

I was almost judging this game too early. After the action started with pig people, I liked it more. Wish the gravity and colliders would work normally as they should but probably time limit didn't allow you. The game is really innovative and fits the theme very well.

Parallel Rift by liquidminduk 2014-09-01T14:35:00

Very good idea. I would like to see more levels but less is more in jam situations. Luck with further developing :)

Uninhabitable by Slikker 2014-08-26T20:59:00

Graphics of the game and the story are really good. It also gives a feeling of helplessness. I liked it very much. A lot of work in 3 days :)
A few things:
- My health went on dropping down even though I ate and drank so I eventually died. I guess it's a bug.
- There is no collider on portal at the beginning.

Inner Self by Cstudios 2014-09-15T23:16:00

Wish the result would depend on player actions, I guess it's not. Was a good piece of story anyway. Well done :)

Escape the World by bogdanmaier49 2014-08-26T19:47:00

It seems like it has a lot of placeholders but I think that's because of 48 hours time limit. Plus, it is hard because turret shoots at the position of asteroid where it was a few seconds ago. I could only buy the turret and couldn't survive longer. Idea is kind of cool though.

Sunborn: The tale of connected worlds by Windmill Games 2014-08-29T07:17:00

I found the enemies that fall down on you rather annoying, it sometimes makes you lose hp randomly. There are some spots that you cannot pick coins up. Also some strange rectangle appearing and fading slowly when you die. Attack animation is quite short comparing to the attack range.

Except these things, I enjoyed the game a lot. The story is nice, its visuals in intro could be better. Music in the bg is creepy as it should be.

Chroma by Lvyn 2014-09-02T22:57:00

I understood what you tried to do and how it would work but everything was unclear. I didn't get which color I changed the world into and where would be the platforms. The idea is also not very original anymore. I think you should consider dimming the shiny graphics too.

NOODLE FEELING by Magdev 2014-09-01T14:03:00

While the music in the background and physics are quite interesing, I didn't get the aim in this game if there is one :D Very interesting (kinda weird) entry.

Caelum by Rocketship 2014-08-26T12:57:00

Pretty little plane game with the connected worlds theme. I wish it had more innovation into it though.

Starpiercer by Schrodinger Games 2014-08-30T11:44:00

There could be more to the gameplay and music pauses between the worlds but visually the game looks amazing. Music is also complimentary.

Invasion by Ogniok 2014-08-26T17:32:00

Graphics would be really cool but colors disturb the eye. Also hitting does not feel like hitting. I couldn't try split screen multi-player option but it's a great idea assuming it works well. I like defense games generally but I couldn't feel this one much, you have to work more on it.

Space Delver by commodoreKid 2014-08-26T11:39:00

We will probably update the game in following days and look into the issues you mentioned. Thank you all for your positive comments :)

Space Delver by commodoreKid 2014-08-27T22:51:00

Thanks for all kind comments. Right now, the game is (we hope) without any bugs. We cannot really add new content according to LD rules BUT we are planning to develop this to the end and publish a full version. It will have all those stuff listed above and maybe even more.

We are happy to see some of you really got into the game and liked it.

For future updates, you can follow my Twitter account, it will be the most convenient way I guess.

https://twitter.com/commodore_Kid

Thanks a lot.

Space Delver by commodoreKid 2014-08-28T20:58:00

Hm, it actually does close the menu.. Can you try again?

Space Delver by commodoreKid 2014-08-29T15:01:00

Actually speed in relation to stars changes but it's not very noticeable, we got that a lot. We are going to implement some kind of indicator in the game later that will make player feel his/her speed. Thank you for all your comments, they are really valuable since we plan to develop the game further.

Space Delver by commodoreKid 2014-08-31T12:42:00

We heard yellow arrow-objective assumption a few times now. A tutorial phase at the beginning of the game will solve this we hope.
Also I think you moved your resources to the station, not sold them to the market or you were low on fuel and all the money you earned went to refueling the ship.
There is a lot confusion right now. We tried to implement many features as possible and couldn't think much about the user experience. Sorry about that :)

Right now working on a release version btw.

Space Delver by commodoreKid 2014-08-31T17:02:00

Happy to see that you liked it :)
I know it is hard to get a grab of everything. We got a lot of feedback so we can try to develop those missing points now.
Almost all of what you wrote as what should be added to the game is already in our list above in the description and we are trying to add those features nowadays after the jam.
P.S. The money is just for having upgrades in this version.

Thanks!

Space Delver by commodoreKid 2014-09-01T17:40:00

@Literal Games: It refuels when you dock in the station but only if you have enough money :)
@Lvyn: The speed never dies out like floating in real space unless you put a force in the opposite direction. We really like the feel of this kind of control. However adding a dampener upgrade for the release version that can be toggled to act like an artificial friction but it will be only used in combat since it will give a control advantage but will consume lot more fuel than normal.

Thanks for the comments :)

Space Delver by commodoreKid 2014-09-01T22:34:00

@spotco: Thanks :) We really feel that player should get used to and get good at controls over time, there is nothing inconsistent with them. We just have to underline the current speed and add a tutorial phase to the game so player doesn't die unknowingly.

Space Delver by commodoreKid 2014-09-02T08:54:00

@MechanicMoon, @Oxeren: Thank you!

Space Delver by commodoreKid 2014-09-02T23:00:00

@Nanolotl: Yes they are hard to get used to at the beginning :)
@liquidminduk: Thank you :) We try to keep that feel in the version we develop right now.
@sephyka: Thanks! We will definitely add a tutorial phase to the game.

Space Delver by commodoreKid 2014-09-06T12:05:00

@Dietrich Epp: Thank you. I don't think this way of gameplay is aimed to please everyone.
@Crocanti de Pollo: Glad you liked :) Watching fuel is one of the key points in this game since there are no gas stations to buy fuel in space. At least not many as in our world :D
@mechabit: Thanks for trying out. I got the same exact situation and it got me thinking about a rescue beacon too :)

Space Delver by commodoreKid 2014-09-13T23:17:00

@MerlijnVH: Thank you :) We are currently working on it, even though the game will be quite hardcore, trying to make everything user-friendly so nothing happens out of your knowledge.
@Sheepolution: Thanks for trying out. As I told on stream chat, we will add a tutorial to the game but we want to keep the ship controlling mechanic as it is. It will require a little bit of player skill. Other than that we will have a dampener upgrade which applies a little force in the opposite direction like there is friction. Still, it will be for combat situations mostly because it will consume more fuel than normal. The game is kind of hardcore and requires player to spend more time on.

Space Delver by commodoreKid 2014-09-15T06:34:00

@Franklins Ghost: Great! We aimed to do that with controls so you get used to in time. If you would like to play more, we are developing a release version with a lot of extra features. You can follow here http://spacedelver.wordpress.com
@Cake&Code: Thanks :) We don't want to tweak the controls but we want to make it easier for player to understand how it works. Plus a dampener upgrade to your ship whenever you want to open an artificial friction force.

Space Delver by commodoreKid 2014-09-15T18:05:00

@ajopart: Thanks!
@cstudios: We are thinking about all those bits while developing right now. There is a stock market logic in it, when there is more demand, the resource sells cheaper. Thank you very much for playing and kind comments :)

Worlds Collide by Rage Paint 2014-08-30T18:07:00

I couldn't find a mistake other than world changes location a little bit when you change direction. I think there can be more challenge in this game other than collecting planets without touching red ones. Graphics are really cool though :)

schizm by KittyMac 2014-08-28T17:08:00

That's a pretty neat idea! I really liked the gathering the destroyed ship parts mechanic. Had a lot of fun. Wish it was multiplayer :)

Familiaris by Greg Klein 2014-08-26T17:35:00

Nice story but that's quite all. Would love more interactivity in this kind of game.

Connect the Bridges by GameDevExtreme 2014-08-29T14:06:00

I liked your literal approach to the bridge between planets to create connection for people to travel on. It is a nice idea, you just need to realize it better. You may add some animation or change the sounds. Also don't forget to add an information tab to tell player how much he needs to upgrade the bridge.

Deep Orbit by c4chaos 2014-08-28T16:46:00

It is a quite poor game but still enjoyable. Sound effects and music are not the best :/

Courier by Conk 2014-09-01T13:25:00

The game is pretty short and I think you are well aware of that. However it looks really good, sound and music fits, I think it's a really good entry even though quite unclear and short.

Chicken Dimension by Zabuza 2014-08-26T20:38:00

I actually liked it since it's a simple platformer with acceptable graphics. Here is some feedback;
- Jumping sound is quite annoying and the music is not the best.
- You can jump also when you touch the bottom of tiles.
- After landing the walking animation does not kick in.

Lucy's Journey by ajopart 2014-09-15T23:02:00

Well, I'm having hard time having an opinion on a game that is quite similar to what I was seeing thousand times. I'm sorry about that but it's true. Character also doesn't face left at all. It is the same thing over and over again, I don't know what to say about it. Graphics are not that fancy, idea is not original.. I'm sorry but I would brainstorm more on the game idea if I were you.

Hobo Quest by homeworld 2014-08-26T03:19:00

Better than I expected. I died a lot though :D

NEXUS by brokenbeach 2014-08-29T14:31:00

This is awesomely COMPLETE game which made it top on my list until I find a better game among entries.

cross World by gnuwind 2014-08-26T15:25:00

Good idea but I raged a little when the mechanics didn't work. Especially at the start even though I change the color, I couldn't dodge the rectangle. And sometimes obstacles collide. Still a good idea though.

Columbus Close the Door of Your Seas by DSalles 2014-09-01T21:32:00

I can see this original mechanic being a game but glitchy look should be fixed and a proper interface should be added in my opinion. Also a reachable aim for the player would be nice.

They need you and you need them ! by KeyboardCat 2014-08-28T15:54:00

I like the concept. However, I find it impossible to reach the goal. The best I managed was 10000. Either I am doing something wrong or this is truly unbeatable. Mostly because there doesn't seem to be any exchange going HOME->Connected planets. Just HOME <- connected planets. So all the planets that I connect, die after a while the same as all the others, leaving me alone in the system :(

Very good theme use :) Has potential, but lacks execution.

Sllukswefa by Nanolotl 2014-08-28T16:15:00

Absolutely awesome! I felt like some hell's messanger :P great idea. Wish there was some audio to this.

Bumper Planets by Altourus 2014-08-26T20:09:00

Good and simple idea. However I had difficulty clicking on planets and the game lagged a little on my browser.

UltraRealistic Moon Wrecking Ball Simulator by ZirconCode 2014-09-01T14:38:00

I cannot play it since it is blocked by security settings. I couldn't get it back :/

Alice Anxiety by jukimv1986 2014-09-01T21:50:00

I am not a fan of visual novel style of sim games but still a nice effort of reflecting a psychological issue. I think you could work more on visuals and narratives.

World Champions by kill0u 2014-08-29T22:41:00

Nice game. I liked the way you executed the multiplayer part. Can be quite addictive indeed. Wish there was some music in the background.

Orange by JaJ 2014-09-01T22:14:00

This was really well designed. Smart idea with the story too. I liked it a lot. Would like a longer version of something like this :)

FACED by Sheepolution 2014-09-15T22:45:00

Too repetitive and not challenging. It gets boring short after it starts. Nice idea maybe but not a good realization. Would make a good casual mobile game probably.

Space Warfare by someone9999 2014-08-29T13:09:00

Really cool game! I wish the controls were a little bit clearer as it is a bit unintuitive to send / cancel sending units. Other than that, very nice entry!

Schrodinghost by Carduus 2014-08-28T19:09:00

It is really good with the story, music and graphics but it is too short in my opinion.

Our Dream World by PapyPilgrim 2014-08-30T11:11:00

Really nice idea for a puzzle game. I would publish this on mobile if I were you.

Converged by gnx 2014-08-26T21:21:00

Except that it was always the same level over and over again and level's colliders aren't set up well, it is a good idea with limited ammo, darkness and random spawn.

Crystalbots: T-94 wants colors by rynti 2014-09-02T21:14:00

Except the story and character, the game is almost like super meat boy as you stated above. I couldn't jump left when I was sliding on the right side, I had to jump first and then go left. This was really annoying to be honest. However length of the game is impressive for a compo game. Wish it would be more innovative. Oh also the music has a gap between loops.

A Glove Between Worlds by coldman 2014-08-26T01:57:00

repetitive mechanics and a little poor for a jam entry.

Saturation by locknic 2014-08-29T13:50:00

Really good game with its length and challenging mechanic but not very original idea with color change. I enjoyed a lot playing :)

Planet Magumi by Kato 2014-08-26T12:53:00

Controls are q little confusing but graphics are great. I couldn't get pass the first evil spirit attack and didn't want to wait for intro for a third time.

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

BED✰HOGG by 01010111 2015-05-12T12:32:00

It's a good and complete game but I think there are better games out there, sorry. (not ours though, ours is shitty)

Shield Maiden by bitslap 2015-04-30T19:58:00

Really really good entry. Short, challenging and complete. I liked how responsive controls and how nice graphics are. Innovation part was a bit missing but still.

Daygore Bunko by SonnyBone 2015-04-22T12:59:00

I think only thing that could be better is AI which you probably couldn't do better. Very good entry. I played it quite long, cause it deserves! :)

EDDA by madameberry 2015-04-22T18:54:00

The idea is great but I think it could be realized much better. Feedback is missing and I didn't even know what I do to win actually. Style is nice though.

Rude Bear Raid by Alex Rose 2015-04-28T21:33:00

I liked the idea very much. It just wasn't that nice to respawn and go all the way through again and again without actually seeing other players. It can be turned into something better quite easily though.

bloodshot by rogueNoodle 2015-04-21T20:09:00

This game is really good! I don't know what to say, you deserve some reward :) It would be awesome if it was multiplayer and fallen players could be saved :)

Space Boy by Hyoga-3D 2015-04-22T16:13:00

The idea is really good but I wish you could do something about poles.

Spinnicus by NickZangus 2015-04-22T15:12:00

Very good and fun to play mechanics :)

Fathom by Joe Williamson 2015-04-22T17:59:00

Except the fact that it's short, everything was brilliant. I loved the mechanic. I would like to see a complete game out of this.

Savior by CarlsonAndPeeters 2015-04-22T13:53:00

Great humor. Quite fun to play. Controls are very sluggish and not responsive but it didn't stop me playing it till the end. Awesome ending by the way :)

Nuclear Autumn by phi6 2015-04-22T13:49:00

It's very nice to play. Not very innovative maybe but a clean entry :) Had fun playing :)

Genemon by Pietro Ferrantelli 2015-04-28T21:50:00

Very good idea. If this was a full game with online battles, I would like to try that. It's kind of a yugioh combined with genetics.

Night Survive by Alistesios 2015-04-22T12:50:00

I like the fact that you can use anything as a weapon. Good for the first LD entry :)

Possession by akymos 2015-04-21T12:08:00

Very good idea but rest of the game is not enough to support it. It also fits very well to the theme.

Flappy Shrimp Ninja Blob VS Blue Water Saussage ! by elpaulo 2015-04-28T21:31:00

It's a very fun game. I'd play if there were 20 or 30 levels instead of 12.

SumoSmack by MichaelBrune 2015-04-22T13:34:00

Was fun for a short while. Nice take on unconventional weapon. Wish there was more content so the fun could last longer :)

PALBOT by Hot Box Games 2015-04-22T16:00:00

That's a lot of content for a jam game, good job :) I like to skip tutorials so it would be nice to be able to but I think it's better than not having it. Hard game, good game, good luck!

Tanks vs. Bicycle by petey123567 2015-04-21T20:24:00

Simple graphics, simple mechanic and fun. It's kinda like flappy bird when you think about it but better :D
(By the way you can try our game again, we fixed it and it's up :))

Death By A What!? by Murchurl 2015-04-22T14:48:00

It's quite dark. Sound effects and graphics could be better for these simple mechanics. Anyway funny with the weapons, especially the bunnies. The best was the sound effect for bunny weapon :)

Souls of the Fallen by Bsevers18 2015-04-22T13:08:00

Great mechanics. Quite hard to get used to. Wish it was longer :)

Mow-A-Mole by TeamSpatch 2015-04-22T15:37:00

Removing moles is fun but doesn't last too long. Music could be better.

Evil Cupido: Haters gonna hate by Pixel Heart 2015-04-22T18:25:00

Very good idea for the theme and an innovative mechanic. I liked it :)

SOUND CYCLOTRON by TTNTAWASi 2015-04-22T18:40:00

Could be much better if it was longer and the graphics were better designed.

SpookMaster 5000 by bellicapax 2015-04-22T18:34:00

I think the game is broken but I might've done something wrong. There is someone coming and taking the treasure away. Is there a way to stop him? Tell me if there is, I'd like to try again.

Precipitation Predicament by Xenfare 2015-04-22T18:30:00

Very good interpretation of the theme! Sad that you've to have gamepads to play with your friend.

Free Dame by OrkyOrks 2015-04-22T13:31:00

I couldn't find the aim in this game. I guess it was to turn all into capitalists but it would be too hard. Wish there was a mission written somewhere :)

Latvian Milk by Dreyan 2015-04-22T15:50:00

It's a very fun to play game. I wish it was getting harder by time and I guess that's the only thing. Good job! :)

Reactor by Drenil 2015-04-21T20:12:00

I understand that you wanted to go simple but even simple games require some core elements like balance or limiting the game area. Could be nice if the camera was on the reactor and rotating so enemies could come from every direction.

Chroma Watcher by Drauthius 2015-04-21T20:08:00

It's a good mechanic but too damn hard :D I would have to play quite long to get used to the combinations. You can get over this by making it only primary colors at the beginning and gradually increasing the difficulty.

Paradise Parasol Apocalypse by Pugzarella 2015-04-22T13:14:00

Nice idea with the parasol mechanics :) We couldn't get how you die. It seemed kinda random.

A weapon for our freedom by polegar 2015-04-22T12:42:00

It is a very unconventional weapon indeed :D Good for the first JS game. Luck with future games!

LD33 — You are the Monster

I Spy (A Ghost!) by OmarShehata 2015-08-26T08:48:00

We tried to play but every time I press enter to start the game it reads it as a character.

(You are the) monster gaiden by Christina Antoinette Neofotistou 2015-08-25T20:57:00

Nice art but there is nothing much to it, like my game.

noodle ramen by rubna 2015-08-25T13:16:00

Very good mechanic and cute little game. The only annoyances were the repetition of sounds and how long it takes to replay.

Cursed by disperse 2015-08-25T07:38:00

It made me imagine a game with same art but animated. I broke the curse twice. Gameplay is not the best, I'll only give credit to the artist :)

Lil' Drake by bombjack 2015-08-25T19:48:00

Yay, finished! Nice mechanic, not my type of game but great. Clean entry.

"Real" by callmemonamiral 2015-08-25T13:08:00

"You are free to leave this game." :D
That dialogue system is awesome. Thank you so much.

The game would be okay if attacking and hitting were more fast and responsive. It was also very hard to hit enemies because of the fact that you have to face them. I speed ran after a while. Good ending and nice graphics though :)

There are Tourists in my Castle by Solifuge 2015-08-26T09:27:00

First time I played I tried to turn everyone into vampires but then I speedran it, it was quite easy :) But fun game, I think it has a future if you make series of levels.

A Bad Wolf King is Hard to Feed by McFunkypants 2015-08-25T18:13:00

I thought something would happen once I collected all the coins but no... *sniff* :P It was a good looking game. I don't like voxels much so I"m not the person to say anything about the future of this kind of game. Music is nice. As you also probably know there is this mouse sensitivity issue. Wish the story was more implemented to the game.

You Are The Muncher by BoaHeck_ArtGent 2015-08-25T13:48:00

I wish there was an information on the police that they cannot be killed. Overall it seems nice. The beginning is too long but the rest is alright. Also sometimes I couldn't get what some visuals stood for.

Don't Crawl by NikB 2015-08-25T10:29:00

Everything is perfect for a jam game. I don't know what to say. It's unforgiving but not too much. Sounds work very well. I'd like to play the multiplayer mode later :)

Damned by Maramasa 2015-08-25T19:30:00

Nice mood and audio but something doesn't feel right. It's too short maybe I don't know. I expected more than a few dodges, sorry.

Galactic Space Crusher by Jishenaz 2015-08-25T19:10:00

It would be much better if you could summon enemies closer and make difficulty go higher over time. It's a very good idea but not a good execution as you also mention in the description. You could keep working on this, I'm not sure about voxels though.

Cruelty by Jeasonfire 2015-08-26T09:13:00

Good start for a real-time strategy but there is a long way to go. I ended up killing my own soldiers and I guess there wasn't anywhere to capture was there?

Sucker Punch by Shaw 2015-08-25T13:39:00

It could be done visually better but the idea is nice. I think I've seen a few other takes on the same idea. Would make a good mobile game.

Intergalactic Love Machine by Slothmachine 2015-08-25T18:51:00

I played it till I can win finally :) It's really funny and smart. There was another game like this in Connected Worlds LD.

Evil Ghost chasing by Benlitz 2015-08-25T08:00:00

It crashes for me. Gives an error about some router connection etc.

Death of a Lich by managore 2015-08-25T11:40:00

Well done mate, you did a very good job. Everything works together, I'm sure you're going to win some medals :)

Lady Bug by dickpoelen 2015-08-25T13:30:00

I think some more visual details in levels would make it more interesting but I know it's a jam game. Mechanic is very hotline miami like. Unforgiving. I like the splatters the most. It felt good slaying those scientists somehow :) It's funny how a head drops in front of one and he just doesn't care :D

Mr. Yeti's Fast Food by Balzaque 2015-08-25T12:38:00

Wow it was very addicting. Controls and movement of the character plus animations feel so right together. Music is the only thing bothering me, it seems like looping a lot. Other than that good job!

Golbertz Party Sing-A-Long by Franklin's Ghost 2015-08-25T13:35:00

Very awkward game. I liked the feels of it but to be honest it's too short and mechanic is not that interesting.

A Heart between Parts by LeafThief 2015-08-30T22:27:00

It has a really nice mood as expected from you :) It was short and that was the only negative thing I guess. I know you didn't like the theme but you still did great!

Digestive Quest by Snippety 2015-08-25T20:20:00

It's a good idea to split controllers, I was challenged by it. But it becomes boring quite quickly. Maybe there could be stages and different enemy types to it.

Nightcrawler by Hjalte500 2015-08-25T10:18:00

As you have mentioned in the description there are many animation and collider bugs but still nice try. I liked the monster design. Cape is going crazy after a while though :)

You are the Monster by DoggyDog 2015-08-25T10:38:00

At the beginning it was really funny, I liked how they talk but then it started to repeat and it takes long to get to the end. It would be nice to have an option to skip dialogues but then it would be really short I guess.

Otherworldly Stars by Sam Twidale 2015-08-25T20:24:00

I think it wasn't a good decision to drop out the audio cause it doesn't give the effect otherwise it could. It's an interesting idea and visual style though.

Nimble by Lynx 2015-08-30T22:07:00

Good idea, good graphics but something is still missing. I think the mechanic was too simple for me. I don't usually like games without depth but it's a personal opinion don't worry I will judge it fairly.

Steal Alive by Pampattitude 2015-08-25T12:46:00

3320 is my best, cannot spend more time on it sorry. Controls response very well, graphics are alright. Sound effects are very repetitive but overall it's a nice little game. You should put it on appstore or something.

Rampaging Monster Mayhem by lurumdurum 2015-08-25T10:12:00

It felt nice when enemies got plenty in number. However I couldn't use any other weapons than laser if there are any. Healing could be cool improvement.

Lair of the Scare by RockhopperGames 2015-08-25T20:30:00

I think you had a really good idea but realization is not that good. It becomes repetitive too quickly. There could be more stuff happening like different enemy types or some other dangers.

Oko Furia by Tselmek 2015-08-25T13:43:00

It feels great to smash buildings. Graphics and sound&music are alright. I wish it wouldn't get boring very fast but I guess it is the thing with these kind of games. At least for me.

Monster Truck Rampage by Denis347 2015-08-25T19:36:00

I knew someone would make a game on monster trucks hahaha :D I think the game is fun but just for a minute. You should develop your workflow and make it better next time. Very good for first time.

Monster Mash! by grotewold 2015-08-25T19:16:00

8829. I was afraid that I will break my keyboard. It's a very simple idea. Yes. It's very simple. It's too simple for 3 days.

KAIJU TYCOON by NoWandStudios 2015-08-26T08:20:00

I kept sending kaijus with different combinations I could make with 3 points and destroyed cities. I don't really know if there was more to the game than this but I couldn't manage to find if there was. It also lacks feedback, I feel like it's pure luck which side wins.

TAG! You're it! by 01101101 2015-08-26T09:40:00

It's very fun to play this. Very hard to be a wolf :P I imagined a version with real players and the one with most points win :)

The Sacrifice by foxboard 2015-08-25T17:44:00

Visual style is amazing, it fits very well to the game. It becomes a little bit repetitive and feedback is not that readable but still, awesome entry. Dat mood. I had a revolt by the way :)

The Wolf Comes Out at 18:00 by Stephen Patrick 2015-08-25T20:46:00

Controls were a little buggy, sometimes they worked and sometimes not. I got the idea and it's pretty neat, only the execution is not that spectacular. You could make free movement and a visible effect for interactions.

Tales of the Underworld: Rebellion of the Souls by ladybenko 2015-08-25T20:45:00

I liked everything except the length of the game. A classic platformer, not much to tell.

Drunkula by francismoy 2015-08-25T19:01:00

I couldn't play your game too because of some resolution issue. Some part of the game I could never see or reach.

By the way you told me that Play button doesn't work for you, can you somehow set the resolution to 1920x1080 and try again? The problem might be the same as I had with yours. Are you using Linux or Mac? Because I haven't tested the game on those operating systems.

Drunkula by francismoy 2015-08-25T19:13:00

I don't know what's going on but you could try to run it on different resolutions or with windowed mode etc.

The Supper by jrhee 2015-08-25T20:01:00

Wow it's a great idea. I can imagine a full game like this without the grid in 3D. I couldn't manage to win (got to 4 only) but still.. nice!

Going Home by Wryxo 2015-08-25T20:09:00

Haha it's a funny game. It could be improved visually but other than that it's a platformer, hard to say anything.

Daddy, Don't Explode Me by FiSilva 2015-08-25T14:24:00

Lemmings! Minions look like plankton from Spongebob. Very clean work with graphics and gameplay. Annoying thing is that 'daddy sound' playing 10 times at the end of every level :D

Squatchin' by randomhuman 2015-08-26T08:49:00

I liked AI but the game was so repetitive. There could be more to it than just slapping campers.

Manifest Destiny by superfreak 2015-08-30T21:59:00

My only concern is graphics and animations, the game has a very simple mechanic and it is to destroy everything so animations and graphics combined would help make it feel better. I felt more like I'm a monster destroying false gods' temples btw :D

One of Us by Sicilica 2015-08-25T07:48:00

I found spring mechanic a little bit annoying, it was so unforgiving. Other than that it's a lengthy and nice looking game :)

Chicken Lord by TheGCJammers 2015-08-25T14:00:00

Controls felt better when I was not a demon so I end up not transforming at all :D Graphics are good but hitting doesn't feel like hitting because of animation delay. Since it's an arcade kind of game it is quite important.

Monstre de Coiffure by Patacorow 2015-08-25T13:56:00

I don't know what to say :D It's a great idea and execution is flawless. Just not my type of game but still :)

UFO by Polyganz 2015-08-26T08:02:00

Very well done, I wish there was more depth to the story and missions. If you would like to develop it further you might want to retouch the graphics and add more detail to the world too. It was short but satisfying to destroy stuff.

Monster - Your Worst Is Our Best by Ellian 2015-08-25T18:30:00

Music&Sound are really nice. Very clean entry. Art is beautiful. It becomes boring after second turn but still.. Good job!

Knights And Knights by nicso 2015-08-25T20:41:00

Neat idea! I loved the original game when I was a child. Now it seems very difficult to beat the knight haha :D

LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Nightlight by AgentParsec 2015-12-16T20:30:00

I liked how you set up the mood but not a fan of graphics. The game keeps you on the edge which is cool. Also would be nice if we could skip the intro dialog faster. I wouldn't spend more time on this, you can do better by redeveloping and redesigning it with more player interaction.

Growing Sakura by ripatti 2015-12-15T10:54:00

I'm not a fan of puzzle games so I quit it on 5th level but I won't criticize it with my personal choices because the game looks beautiful. I like the fact that I could undo anytime and how the flowers blossomed when I win. Puzzle mechanics are in place I guess. You nailed it I'd say. Why not a mobile game from this?

Agent Hooker by Phoenix849 2015-12-15T11:56:00

I got stuck on the level with 4 horizontal lasers and a little space that you cannot fit. Am I missing something?
I think it's a very good entry. You have everything in place and working. Good job.

Personal Valley by Backterria 2015-12-15T18:03:00

Very good graphics. I think gameplay is a little repetitive. Controls get a little boring after a while. I wished I had a normal controls over this character. But I know it was for 2-buttons. Good job.

33 grams by martincohen 2015-12-15T18:29:00

I liked the animations and flowing movement of moths. Also visuals style and randomized levels(I guess they are). However the game is so short and mechanic is simple and repetitive. I wish there was more to it but I guess it's quite good for 48 hours.

Left-leaning by tayl1r 2015-12-15T12:15:00

Another last-level loser here.
I think it's really fun and simple. Maybe you could get rid of horn mechanic and add a left turn instead. But I know, no time. Great job. Only thing changed could be colors and graphical style but not necessary.

Life: The Game by ohmaigawd 2015-12-17T00:43:00

I usually don't like these kind of games because they lack variety of interactions but it seems like you nailed it. I also like the topic you chose. I would still work on graphics but everything else is cool, keep up the good work!

Slash Quest by Big Green Pillow ft Mgaia 2015-12-18T00:42:00

It's a great entry, graphics are great, everything works properly, sound and music are great. I just think it was a little too easy and the ending could be better. I guess even with two studios 3 days is not enough time to put everything in. Thanks for creating this beauty.

Neon City Getaway by manabreak 2015-12-15T10:45:00

Good take on theme. I got 2245 on fourth try. It's very confusing at first with controls but then you get used to. I liked the game very much but only one thing, it would be much better if it was more random than this. Then you could just pack it up and publish on mobile. I would go for it. Good job!

UPSQUID by 01010111 2015-12-15T17:44:00

I went up to 852 then it got boring, sorry :) As others said it could be a mobile game easily and I think it could become popular. You should consider that. I'm not a fan of infinite gameplay like this but it works. Graphics are perfect in their own way. Good job.

Puff Enuff? by bitslap 2015-12-15T11:14:00

This is the best game I've played till now. This is type of game I was waking up early before school to play for five minutes on my commodore 64. I loved it. I also liked how there is no infinite gameplay, I hate that. Controls are not so hard and not so easy at the same time. I think you should vary levels and bosses and definitely go for post-jam. Keep up the good work.

Lands of TSR Lore by Christina Antoinette Neofotistou 2015-12-15T20:29:00

It looks great but there is a lot missing like inventory, leveling up and other various stuff. I still think you did great job though. I'd continue if I were you but try to come up with an original story or mechanic that will make your game unique, not like all others.

Balloon Cat by TheFudster 2015-12-15T09:54:00

I'm not a fan of voxel-like graphics and it was too hard for me (got a bottle of milk though!) however I like the idea for the controls. It feels like this old game where you were trying to land on a pod with spacecraft. You may consider using a color palette next time, it would look much better.

Flowershop Tale by Geti 2015-12-15T10:36:00

It's quite repetitive. I guess you decided to have the images low quality this way, well it works. The core game is there. I also like the concept. I wish you could add more to that core.

Midnight Runner by CustomPhase 2015-12-15T21:38:00

I like the music the best I think, it fits the mood of the game very well. Graphics are good but could be better. Very repetitive even for a runner game. I also like the dash mechanic.

The Magnificient Creature by yoanndeplo 2015-12-17T23:29:00

After I talked to the fisher boy, the game just stopped and I couldn't find a way to continue, not sure if this is a bug. Graphics and sound needs to improve a lot. It's not particularly fun also, you just choose dialog options. I think you should add more interaction if you want to make an adventure game. There are also grammar mistakes in English version.

Unbarren by Orava 2015-12-15T09:44:00

It is confusing at the start even though I've red everything you wrote. I like the idea of controlling a craft from inside but the game is quite boring in the end to be honest. The best thing is visuals. I like how every tree has a unique structure. Keep up the good work :)

ZORC by Andrew Deem 2015-12-18T00:28:00

I was excited when the game told me to think outside the box because I like that kind of puzzles but it was not what I expected. I think mechanics are great, it could be developed to a more advanced system with more puzzles. I guess you already know graphics need work. Oh, and sound was soothing, good job with that.

ZORC by Andrew Deem 2015-12-19T14:50:00

Thanks for playing our game, camera could be rotated by right mouse button and dragged or zoomed in by middle mouse button.

ZORC by Andrew Deem 2015-12-19T17:24:00

I thought you meant dragging the camera because you can do that by holding down the middle mouse button as I said in my previous comment. Otherwise you cannot change the angle of the camera. I think it's okay because of orthographic view.

Longbeard by Joe Williamson 2015-12-15T09:24:00

I think it's obvious to say graphics are awesome. We know your games now, it's kind of expected. To be honest Fathom was much more than this even though it was also short. I think fun is missing a little bit. Still kind of an original idea with the mechanic. Pity you struggled with code and time. Expecting better next time! :)

Slum Runner by Warboys 2015-12-15T13:21:00

I liked how you took time to create many levels. I think this could be improved graphically because mechanics work. Maybe sounds and music also requires rework. Other than these, fun game, good work :)

Isle of Plenty by doitle 2015-12-18T00:12:00

I thought not being able to build farms was a missing feature but now I see what you did there. This kind of game has a lot of potential. I think this could be a more developed game if you gave more options to the player. You kind of force the game to go only on one way. That kinda kills the fun. However as I said, you can build up on this. Keep up the good work.

And the world kept on turning by little-burrito 2015-12-16T11:50:00

I liked the gameplay quite a bit. Initial levels were awesome, however with the drop of speed the game became a bit too slow for me (I didn't pass that big world - I guess it was the last chapter). Overall a very well polished, nicely presented and self explaining game. Tablet version ftw :) Good job!

On Tario by LeafThief 2015-12-19T20:19:00

As I know your previous entries, this one was a little bit of a downer. I think it was because neither gameplay nor story was great and I really wonder how you came up with this strange idea :D I like the art and sound though, I cannot say anything about them. There were a few bugs like a small glitch one the right side when I was raising up the first tower. Also every time I skip a dialog, tower lights were resetting. You increased our expectations so it will be really hard to top that now :)

Wizard and The Sun by HolyBlackCat 2015-12-17T19:17:00

Great game. Graphics and audio could be improved but I loved the mechanics you used. It reminds me of old days :)

SAAAM by Ogniok 2015-12-18T01:33:00

I think my only concern with this game is the user interface. It could be done nicer. Other than that, great use of assets to create the environment. Reminded me of Stanley Parable, I'm pretty sure you were inspired by it. I had a very little performance problem but that wasn't much of a big deal. Great work.

Ortogonalis by pjimmy 2015-12-17T20:12:00

I think this would make a nice mobile game. It seems innovative in the way you represent it but this is a very old mechanic working on mostly reflexes. Reminds me of those machines with prizes inside and you've to stop the quare at the right spot. It was slow sometimes, not sure if because of Firefox and it did take input before the right position. All in all, addicting gameplay.

Z4KM4STER - Zookeeper DJ by candlesan 2015-12-16T20:25:00

I could get gold in first and silver in others on the first run and felt pretty proud :P I think the mechanic is really challenging and fun but graphics could be much better. I liked how music worked, though I cannot say I liked the type of music you used. Still great job, keep it up!

Boxing Quest by flukeshot 2015-12-15T12:51:00

I didn't have a friend with me to play this with but you did good job with only 2 buttons I'd say. I think it would be a little better if you could move character a little back when he is hit to avoid spamming. I also like the style of graphics, they need a little work but generally okay. Keep up the good work!

Ourobos by SinclairStrange 2015-12-15T13:04:00

Good game. It brings back memories. I don't know how to criticize really, I think it worked very well for a retro platformer.

Hedgie The Explorer by Caspila 2015-12-17T23:56:00

I liked graphics the most but I think especially for a jam entry it's quite short. Another problem was that it wasn't challenging enough but I guess that's also because of the length. There could be more challenging levels later on. Mechanics are not so original I'm sorry but this could be a mobile game and maybe even a popular one.

BoltStorm by Kuality Games 2015-12-15T23:59:00

I think graphics look really pretty but you should differentiate entities and environment. I couldn't see enemies and my own guys most of the time. A secondary directional light only on entities or color adjustments could help. Walking sound is not the best. Other than these, it's quite good work. Of course it would be better with more content but maybe not in 72 hours. Keep up the good work!

Potatiana Jones by Ildfuglen 2015-12-17T23:05:00

As I told you on stream, it would be nice if vine length has consistency. The graphics have Commodore64 vibe to me but anyway color palette could be improved. Probably you know that sound is not the best. I like the idea of various seeds. An idea could be getting rid of tile constraint and letting player choose the spot that seed will take effect on. This is only if you want to work further on it though. I'll be remembering these games so, I expect better next time! :)

Gjallarhorn by NoWandStudios 2015-12-17T23:35:00

Before I forgot, let me mention, when you leave scoreboard it goes back to splash screen, not very nice. I think it has potential to be a popular mobile game but I am not sure the idea would be original. I think I liked the graphics most. Sound is also okay. You need to think about what you can add to the gameplay though.

The Incredible Blobert by rattower 2015-12-17T18:48:00

I like the mechanic a lot but the realization could be better. Sound effects also get annoying after a short while. I also like the graphics but in 72 hours could be done better.

There's No Going Back by XAND 2015-12-18T01:18:00

Good idea for a mechanic. Probably it's done before though. I find levels challenging and you did it without making it too difficult and frustrating. Graphics could use a touch. Good entry, keep it coming.

Kitty McBlubberton by MartianGames 2015-12-16T19:54:00

I got to be 9kg and reached the end. You already told me that this was more of an experiment so I won't bother commenting on the game side. I think you could use a little more zoomed out camera and a longer parkour to demonstrate more of this experiment. Keep up the good work :)

Mine Rail Shooter by Ybalrid 2015-12-15T11:21:00

If it's really first time in Unity, you did great job. I hope you go further next time. I found the mine a little bit empty. It looks like an Oculus Rift demo kind of thing. After a while I started spamming both buttons :D Keep developing!

Cockatiel Egg by FiSilva 2015-12-16T00:08:00

Sound effect for tiles are really nice. Gather eggs and reach exit is a working mechanic but I guess it's not enough by itself to be fun. There has to be other twists, I think you know it yourself too. Still great work, love the graphics and sounds. But minions were better :P

Downfall in Polarity by danielsann7 2015-12-17T19:38:00

I think it would be better if the color change was permanent. Also a checkpoint at the start of a level could be nice. I failed the second level immediately. Graphics and sound need rework. Also colliders were off I think. Expecting better next time!

Cave Swing by ajmalr 2015-12-18T01:42:00

I like the mechanics but it was too hard for me :( I guess this could make a good mobile game. My favorite part was chosen colors. Music & sounds also went with style.

Feed The Baby by treslapin 2015-12-15T03:14:00

Bigger baby here :P
I think it's a really simple but clean entry. I guess you chose the safe way. I would recommend you to get out of your comfort zone a little bit. Cute visuals and music btw :)

SpaceHex by Sheepolution 2015-12-15T12:24:00

I didn't have much time to get deep into this but I assume there is a way around to beat it. I liked animated pixel art and resource management mechanics. It just starts too hard in my opinion, could make a curve instead. We have a similar mechanic in our game, you may want to check it out.

Klangwelt by retraffic 2015-12-15T12:44:00

Wow, that was surprising. I think the idea is really interesting but it lacks fun factor. Could be better for example if the tiles were placed by a character controlled by player. I like the samples you used and online mode. It has potential imho.

U.G.O by aamatniekss 2015-12-15T10:06:00

My best is 437 for the second time I played. Didn't play again though, sorry. I really liked how the game offers an infinite gameplay with scoring but it still has an advancement mechanic. I'm not sure if it was infinite but why not. Visually and aurally it was satisfying. Keep up the good work.

Long Long: A snake lies in the Past by Tapehead 2015-12-18T01:00:00

I like graphics, sound effects and music in this game. I also like how you used classic mechanic of snake. However the game trolls you quite a lot. This includes rare checkpoints. I also think that it wasn't so responsive. I couldn't manage to finish the game but I'd love to. Good job.

32r by Allthebees 2015-12-20T14:11:00

Thanks for playing our game, I did not really get your point about stating that it was made for the jam. We wrote it in Credits section of the game and it's a Jam Entry as written next to my nickname on game page.

32r by Allthebees 2015-12-20T14:14:00

If you think we did it out of jam time, believe me it would be more of a complete game which is not true because we ran out of time. Only music and sound effects are outsourced using CC or public domain license and the ones with CC license are credited in Credits again.

Deep Growth by emanvidmaker 2015-12-17T19:29:00

I kinda liked the mechanic but at one place it failed, I respawned on the flower thing. I don't know if that was intentional or not. Sound and graphics should be reworked for sure. I think you can do better. Also about writing, it wasn't really funny for me, you may try to work on that. Good luck!

Zircon by _HopFrog 2015-12-15T12:33:00

I feel like you were visually inspired by Fez. I think the game is fine but there are problems. The first one is the repetitive sound of spring. Second one is that I could not adjust to left-right controls when character keeps rotating and it became really frustrating. I have headache now actually :( Anyways, clean entry. Keep up the good work!

Decay Dynamics by NotoriousFlex 2015-12-17T00:34:00

Mechanic is solid. I think it could be just a little bit slower game with other types of robots that you could produce. They could be with different features and stuff. Or more awesome would be to combine pieces yourself to create custom robots. Great work, I'd like to see more entries like this.

Slippy Santa by brainybeard 2015-12-15T11:30:00

This is so christmasy :P I'm sorry, graphics are not the best but I liked the cylinder space, it fits well with tumbling down the mountain. I think you should go more innovative and up your graphics next time, keep up the good work :)

The Child Spirit by Oneiric Worlds 2015-12-15T10:20:00

Placement of animals breaks the run but the game works overall. I think I cannot get back to the second animal if I miss it. It lacked a little bit of feeling of grip to be honest, felt like hovering more than running. It is probably because of animation. I think it would be also more interesting if there were more interactions other than running around but I know, no time. Don't forget to save the forest!

A Growing Threat by AM_Games 2015-12-17T19:57:00

Really fun game, I loved how you combined bullet hell and lemmings mechanics especially. I think you should spend more time on graphics and sound design next time and you might have a winning title. Great game.

Snow World by Elisée and friends 2015-12-16T19:35:00

Looking at number of people collaborated, the amount of work is not unbelievable but you did great job creating the graphical style and combat. Also noticed there is some kind of randomization.

I think the result is expected from Sparklin Labs :)
This could become a larger game easily btw, do it!

Another Dragon by GeorgeBroussard 2015-12-15T09:34:00

My favorite part is the retro visual style. Other than that difficulty of challenge is right. I think it could be longer though but I realize you had to polish it to look nice like this. Clean entry, I like it!

LD37 — One room

levelone by dietzribi 2016-12-13T20:45:00

I really liked the humor and use of space in this game. Graphics, collisions and sounds could use a bit of work. It flows very well so good job :)

1 biT Strike by SamuelSousa 2016-12-13T20:33:00

There is not much to it, I played hundreds of similar games so I cannot really say it's innovative. I think you should try to challenge yourself more next time and come up with a more original idea. No offense, keep working :)

HourGlass Collector by skorpyo 2016-12-14T23:16:00

I wanted it to never end because every rule was very different than the last one :) I really like it. I died all my deaths in Newton part :P

Exit The Room Update 1.1 by Artsicle 2016-12-13T20:39:00

Escaping the room idea fits the theme but I'm not even sure if it's a game. Next time I'd suggest you try to create something you would like to play yourself.

Bob & Bernard Against the Nazis by arcadehero 2016-12-13T20:50:00

Very good art and story but it's very repetitive. It felt to me like one of those mobile games where upgrades are infinite and you grind to get to the next weapon. I personally don't like that kind of games but if you do this for mobile I'm sure you'll have an audience.

Tangent by rxi 2016-12-19T22:59:00

Nicely designed puzzles with limited number of mechanics. They might be a little predictable but I can imagine how it could look in a fully developed game with a few more mechanics. Music is nice, graphics are alright, very good job.

My Friend Bubba by TijmenTio 2016-12-13T20:54:00

It's a chill game. I think this could be easily a multiplayer experience with much more content and published on market. I could only get 3 achievements but it was enough to understand the concept. Very good idea.

Haunted Room by TimBeaudet 2016-12-13T20:41:00

I like the idea of using a number of resources in a tactical manner but I think player could have more foresight to what is to come so he could be more prepared. I think from this core idea you can create a much sophisticated and better game. Keep up!

Walkie Talkie by managore 2016-12-14T21:34:00

Well it's you again with another original idea. What can I say?

Snapped by karlipoppins 2016-12-14T22:59:00

As I already told you the production quality is not that high but you still managed to get me in the mood which is something :) I wish it would be more of an adventure game :P

Boomerang Boy by pixzleone 2016-12-14T22:48:00

Wow it was intense. I tried to find a sweet spot and I kind of managed but it was still hard for me to get past 15. Graphics and sound could use some work but otherwise it's a nice weapon mechanic. Reminded me of Titan Souls :)

Sleeper's Curse by scorched 2016-12-13T20:43:00

I really liked the point and click adventure feel to this game especially when you have to place objects correctly and combine two of them. I think you could have explored that part even more. Graphics were fine but collisions were a little strange overall. I hope this helps for your future projects, cool game :)

Booking Mama by Dege 2016-12-13T20:48:00

I liked the game a lot I think this falls in my "could easily be a mobile game" category. I found objects not easily distinguishable in rooms so it requires quite a while to get used to it. Overall, a very good job with graphics, mechanic and music anyway.

That's Still One Room by Fixdoll 2016-12-14T09:07:00

I like these vs.developer kind of games but I think it could be longer and more challenging. You also need work on graphics. Good humor and not bad at all for a first game.

Chat Room One by DivineOmega 2016-12-21T23:11:00

I like the idea but it is quite easy to explain or give a hint at the moment. Maybe words instead of single characters would be better. But still you could put ____ instead of the word I guess. Then you could introduce a time limit as well. However as I said the potential is there. Good job.

INFINIROOM by Patacorow 2016-12-13T20:52:00

Very simple but hard to master mechanic. I got confused with direction change when you double jumped almost every time. I think you definitely need to create a mobile game out of this since it can be played with one button. Graphics and sound are also good. Excellent job.

Jim is Moving Out! by stadoblech 2016-12-13T20:37:00

Very good idea for a mechanic. I like the simplicity and theme-relatedness of this game but I think you could do something more with the environment. Anyway I enjoyed it a lot.
