I love tycoon games. My only problem with this was that it was to easy. I love the concept, but a little change would help this a lot: a real economy. for example the prizes would change depending on the demand. so if you supply a planet with specific goods the value of the goods would decrease and you have to adapt. Also the default unity gui transparent skin is ugly. but its okay for LD :)
the whole game is 100x100px on the top left in chrome.
Its a wonderful metaphor about our social life on social networks, about like hunting.
It actually has a good level design, also the "art"style works well on this game. It have to be paintbrush lame to be realy enjoyed. Game is hard, realy...
What would I change? Nothing. Every improvement would ruin the experience.
I seen screens of this game on twitter while the LD30 event. I was looking forward to play it, and I am not disappointed. The mechanic is very sophisticated, the two world well connected. Its awesome how the ghost can get back to the body. Well made, i gave it high rating. Its unbelievable that the whole game was made by one person under 48-hours.
This is a good idea, but the controls ruined it. Make it run on tablets, improve graphics, make some basic story (like papers please) and you got a sure hit.

I could not cut out the wedge with the female character, and get trough with the male one... But I got the point!
Honestly, this is super neat. You can build so heavy story on this. For example: the girl could be in the past, before the war... like a grandmother of him. Or she could just be his wife at home. And how the think about each other, how the world reminds the other one.
So this idea has potential storywise. A lot of potential. I hope we will see something more serious game based on this.
Very simple but also deep game enough to enjoy on first play. At first play, i was wondering why the excavating does not work, then i realised that i need to assign workforce. Also i like the idea of huge plants, however I dont understand it such huge plants can survive on the surface, why not humans? It has something to do with the CO2 level?
i got stuck on stage 2-07. I mean i could not solve the puzzle. Its good that this is not on my mobile, i would play it all day long. Now i just bookmarked it.
however i am not sure if it has anything to do with the theme... it feels like it was made before LD and just uploaded.
Maybe because I am a huge fan of ant colony optimisation or its just mesmerising, I was watching it for 20 minutes... This would be a nice live background for android. How do you plan to make the gameplay? Where can I get the final version?
I just love games with deeper meaning. I love the parallel of the worlds: your life path and your thoughts.
first i thought that i had to precisely place the planet together. Maybe some "construction simulation" mechanism would be cool. Like you could grab the part... insert it to place and weld it together. Also: interesting take on the theme

I love evolutionary algorithm. I had a very similar idea about a game what would simulate breeding somehow, but its a longer story. So I like the idea. I did not understood what pheromones are good for...
The puzzle element is very interesting. The social manipulation is more less pure math, but still fun! Realy clever idea, a must play. I sent it to my fiancee to try it out (shes a psychologist). Nice job!

About the game. You had a different approach than us, its actually a game. (Sorry that I compare it to ours, but the similarity of the idea is incredible).
I would improve the sprites you are using (cellular level) and a music a bit(i know that 72h is not enough time) . The game mechanic is good. I think the fast decision based gameplay helps it a lot.

I had to download the flash file and drop it into chrome. maybe you should put the file into you public folder and make an HTML file as a holder.
but! the game is hard. maybe because i suck and runners and i have to concentrate on the falling green projectiles. The music is fine, to bad it restarts when i fail. The art is inconsistent. was it made in paint?
The music is awesome. Sometimes a little cheesy but still awesome. The graphics are okay, however i realy love the color palette you are using. The game mechanics are great, maybe the levels are a little bit to easy, but the last one is a nice demonstration that you can improve the concept even more.

you actually connected the guy from kickstarter who kickstarted the potato salad with flappy bird? I like the potato bowls animation, its cute, however i would design the whole game mire flat. (not using gradients)
not to many games i found this challenging (intellectually) on LD30. I like the graphics, its simplistic, vibrant (nice color palette). I like the mechanics, it would work nice on a touch enabled device.
I seen a few games like this on this ludum dare. So this idea is very common. but this is the best made so far. the graphics. the level design (actually nice puzzle elements) and the whole game feels the most refined of them all. and considering that this is a compo entry. Well done!
okay, this is a hard one. Its awesome that this is made by a 9 year old. I wish i had a kid like this. But this is a "competition" where everyone is equal regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation or age... so i did my honest ratings, and all my respect.
its not that easy as it looks. good idea
FPS is a genre what needs more time than 72 hours of development. I liked the alien worlds, they are realy creepy and... alien :D. However the whatabout and whereabout of the artifacts is not clear. Maybe some story would help, at least in written form. Also a robotic movement would be more authentic (a delay in the rotation with limited rotation speed).
Eye and ear candy. More levels and make it a tablet game. I would pay money for it. Sir (or ma'am) you are talented.
Its a well made puzzle game with simple mechanics but realy deep requirements on resource management. First i did not understood what to do, so i connected all the planets to my home planet, later on I discovered that i can assign resource gathering, and later on the supernova came... and it was fun. Failing few time in the beginning then i figured it out.
it was nice. casual, first i thought its to easy, but later on i realised you can fail... and i did.
I could not play the game... I should click? it does not react to left nor right button. However I liked the graphics, so i am reloading this page tomorrow and i hope i get some instructions :)

Finally I got it working. So, graphics are nice. The mini-games interesting, however the battery charging has a poor feedback, better feedback would improve the experience.
The music is okay, for the first two or five minutes, but after that it becomes annoying. Walljump are a good idea, maybe it could have a feedback to. For example like in Super meat boy, it should slide on walls.
I overall i gave it a good rating, because this is one of the better games on LD30

Definitely a hard one. I could not solve it :(. If i understand correctly i had to have a specific color connections to the letters on the right top. However its realy innovative!
Asbrion, please try to reaload it. Its a glitch what randomly comes up, and we had no time to fix it.
try to reload again. or try the desktop version. It has something to do with the Unity 4.6 beta. (we needed it to implement the storyline).
so, it looks like the crash for mac users on the web (and possibly on desktop) is caused by the engine itself. i cannot figure out how to fix it, because our unity freezes on mac as soon as we try to run it, even in the editor. I shared the sources, if someone would like to take a look on them. We are really sorry about that :(

the slowdown is unfortunate, unity engine could not handle 300+ AI agents at the same time, some more optimisation would help, but we got realy not time.
It took awhile, while I recognize, which spaceship am I. The game was a little bit too fast for me, and If you hit more than 3 objects, you cant get in the lead anymore.(its good, couse you get pissed of, if you cant win :D ) Also I missed some sound effects... graphics was simple, but good.
The only thing I missed is the prices on the goods I can purchase. Is there a stock market element to it? Its awesome. The best game I played on LD30. I am going to play it afterwards. Nice job!
the start button does not work. Maybe its just an another unity bug. did you make it with 4.6b?
Idea is good. The controls are realy not responsive, maybe refining the controls, adding more elements and giving more feedback to the player would improve the game a lot.
Keep the idea, and rethink the whole concept. Maybe you should use a grid system for planting :)
WOW! The animation is wonderful, the art, the colors, the mechanics are amazing. The music is great, its not boring for a annoying for a longer term (its a common problem with LD games). Does the animals symbolise something? Or you just decided those to fit the color scheme (red, green, blue)?

Are you kidding me? When I seen AR I though its some kind of lame scam. But no! Its real... Unfortunately I do not have a printer at home, but I will print this out and try the game (i tried it from my monitor) with my colleges tomorrow at work. Nicely done. It would be cool if you could level up your critters and you could get more critters downloaded from the internet. It could work like pocket monsters. Just suggesting ;).
Very nice graphics and mechanics (with the transportation part). A galactic map would be lovely, where I decide where do i drop my goods (like in FTL). Some upgrade options would be nice.
But considering that this game was created in such a short time its great! Its actually a playable game with the feeling of finished product. Congrats.

A very high quality game, well designed levels, easy to learn and nice aesthetics. But the controls felt like they are lagging or unresponsive. Also maybe by holding the jump key, it should jump only once (not keep jumping). But this is my only concern. Great job!
lot of people comparing the graphics to limbo, but to me it feels more like Badlands. Maybe more world and more dynamic obstacles would be fine. The music is also good, simple but does not fall short. Some character animation (just rotating the character to the moving direction) would be lovely.
i think the menu glitched. first it worked. then i realised i am playing wrong and when i reloaded the menu did not responded on my clicks (hover was active)
the controls (the enter for reading the sign) should be mapped differently. to bad there are no levels just the tutorial. The concept is great, enjoyable. the music... stuck in my head :D
It has a simple humor, but the game is realy enjoyable. I could not slay the dragon unfortunately, but the sound effect were awesome! Also: you missred the title of the theme? :D
Maybe a better use of unitys rigidbody controller would help the game a lot. Also if a could drew the graphics for it (its kind of looks like its handdrawn. I did not figured out what to do, but the music is great. :)
I realy like this game, graphics are nice, sound effect when you hit someone with a gun is funny :D After you almost finished a lvl, you have to fight with "raid boss", nice.

I like the idea of two different worlds, but they are connected, couse you controll them with the same arrowkeys. Level design is also cool, nice work.
The only problem with this "game" was that i had to zoom way in. its kind of hard to read white on black (however i code that way), especially when i review LD games before sleep.
So, bigger text with inverse colors would be nice.

I tried everything, but i could not get anything out of the game. Maybe its buggy, but all i get are high numbers of social interactions, but no effect... so whats the point?
The constant popping of projectiles was annoying. Maybe the mouse control would work better if you would use some other button than the right one on the mouse, because it opened up the context menu.
However its a nice little game. I like the hand drawn style of it.
first i was just pressing left and right repeatedly, then i figured out that i can push both buttons at the same time :D.
I did like the innovative control scheme, the graphics were nice, the colors and the music. To bad that it had no point in the game just finding the portals.
I am pissed off... somehow i can not beat the AI. Okay, i am terrible at strategy games... and i am trying for an hour. To be honest: this is the best game on LD30 so far! (i played 75+ of them). Congratulations! Good AI, realy adictive gameplay. PLS release it on mobile... i need more time to beat the ai!

I did like it. But the AI is weak, i mean i crushed the green and orange faction with no problem. If you would improve the AI and release it for touch devices (mainly tablets) it would be a nice "chess" game :)
I like the level design. Its very well made. The art style is minimalistic, whats a good decision in this case, because i can realy focus on jumping! Well made. Congrats!

It would be better if the planet would rotate around a star, and you had to estimate the shortest trip, because you would burn fuel. Also enemies and other trader would be nice.

I had one problem: the weapon. It took more shots to kill a monster than for the monster to kill me. The shooting range was shorter or the same as the enemy's. Also they could shoot in angle upwards, so the evasion of the projectiles was difficult. Some balancing of the game would be good. But a solid entry, nevertheless.
The art style is amazing, also the sounds. However the camera should have some damping (dont moving intermediately with the player). its very sturdy this way.
A simple game, it would work well on mobile. You should consider a port!
I was wondering, every light kills the zombies or only the lasers... i put some light on the ground and it killed the zombie. After wave 3 there were beam zombies... monsters... or whatever those greenstuff were, it was a great idea, it just became repetitive after i familiarized myself with the game.

The artwork is nice. The ballistics physics should be better. I would enjoy it more if the "projectiles" would fall according to the rules of physics.
I like the difficulty curve. Nice job with the art, and the music (if not downloaded). I loved how i can clean up the blood :D
Fun fact: SBS is standing for private security agency in slovak. So the title was super fun. The game was okay, I liked the exploding baby!

The game seems to be cool. I love the music, the aesthetics, but unfortunately i could not increase the scare level. I tried to scare the people, pressed Z but nothing happened, just the screaming was heard. Good idea, giving a good rating, however i could not play it properly.

Okay, this review is going to be a little bit longer than usual.
I know whats this about... and honestly the same idea came to my mind when the theme came up. However we did not figured out how to make a game from it. I am sure you are from the eastern european region, as i am. This game is very well thought through (weird sentence :D ), so I suspect the mechanics are inspired by real life.
I cant see the game objectively, because i am living the same reality... how the russian propaganda breaks up the society with disinformation and how every rationally thinking member of our society is getting labeled by the strong pro russian community as an americaphile. To people living in the west, there is war... but not with real-conventional weapons. So, sir thank you for making this game and other players, please know, what you play here... its happening now, for real.
I nearly voted 5 star in every category. I will bookmark this, no even download it to play with the colleagues in the office! I love it!

I could "golf" the dvd into the pit from the green border of the level. Also to be honest, its a bit underuse of the awesome unreal engine. Maybe if you would invest a little bit more time to the level design, it would be better... much better. But grats for your first game! Its a fun road ahead of you! :)
Very relaxing game. At first very hard, later it became easier when i get the hang of it. It reminded me crossy road a little bit. But i love cubes!

The controls are not to ergonomic, and the character movement is slow. The music is realy good, i agree with you, also i like the mechanics. Just change the keyboard layout and the character speed and it will be awesome :)
winrar did not wanted to play... steam crashed after a few seconds... trillian even worse... when i wanted to bring out the big guns (cmd.exe) it wouldnt let me do that... The game should save scores and ranks! :D it would be fun to compare which process is the most durable :)

Maybe a different control scheme would be a big improvement. It should arrows and "qer" and "asd" buttons. I like how innovative is the gameplay.

"Those damn kids!" I would say. Its a cute little game, i managed to finish it by clearing only one block. Maybe the difficulty curve should be adjusted a little bit, but this is LD, so no game have to be polished to be perfect. Nice entry!
