I broke my camera last week for a video.... I will try.
I play a second time with more people, the game is very fun to play but a bit long, the moment when we have to cheak if new rabbits are coming/ reproducing, may be boring and repetitive.
I'm working on a roullette like device to make the random phase faster and funnier. ;)
Goal was to make a game reproductible on a FabLab. If you have one close to your home you could check if they have the tools.
For the paper cutting you can also do it by hand but it will be longuer. ^^
Sorry about the non existant video, I broke my camera just after the Ludum Dare and didn't get time nor motivation to get a other one and organize a test session again. ^^
I played only two times, the game suffer of slow moments, we find some soluction to make it funier to play (remove all the dice, remplace them by a roulette with some random events) but still have to design and build the piece. Hope to have a finished game soon. ;)

I've been stuck at the lvl 10, give up after 20/25 try, to much way to die.
The difficulty is progressive so it's not that problematic ! ^^
Very hard at start to understand how it's working and what you have to do.
After a few (a lot) of try I succeed my fist battle, only play up and down ! ^^
The insta game over when you lose, even after succeed in 3 or 4 villages is very punishing.
Liked the generative worlds.

Note, as like eveybody using Qwerty keyboard, you can also map the "Z" key for up and "Q" for right move. ;)
If you only use wasd it should be great (and very nice for azerty users ;)
Some parts are very tricky and the camera control doesn't help.

Sure, a little smoothing on the camera moment could be nice but not necessary, we are fast take by the ambiance of the game.

I played both version, the original one is a bit repetitive, but the post jam really correct all of this.
In both version the graphics are beautiful for pixels.
In both version, the final boss is still a bit slow... But it's ok if you are a giant robot. ;)

It's like the same game, but with acid ! (I upload a screen)
For Linux you have to start the "Dino" file as executable, you can find it on PetitMonste=>Dino=>Binaries=>Linux (easy !)
And as on all the version, it's still slow but ok ! ;)

For the game being very simple it's a choice, as I said, I started play with the unreal engine just 4 days before Ludum Dare. Already make the dino move as a wanted and setting up all the sounds with good hit box and subtitles was already a big challenges for me. So a prefer to keep just a few elements and make them as good as I could rather than add some draft features.
I'm pretty proud of myself ! And thanks again for all your encouraging comments! :)

It's not suited for azerty keyboard, and when we change the Keymapping we get lost VERY fast, so a play azerty with some key a bit far, maybe using the numpad ? It's the same for everybody and easier to focus.

A bit repetitive and the climbing sequence is very tricky, sometime and to punitive (make you lose a lot of life very fast)

Some more bugs with the characters choice (I didn't had my hat :( !! ) and the mouse tracking when you are playing in windowed mode, but it's a jam so it's fine. ;)

The graphisms are nice but often you dont really understand if it's a wall, an hole or a tree.
Also the shapeshifting is nice but you dont really know what kind of advantage the shape give you. It could als be nice to have a quick shape select and assign our own shape (if i want to shift as dragon, I have to swith hamster first, and it's not nice)

The concept is nice (I think I understand) but it's too difficult with any check point.
Their is still a lot of collision bugs that make the game almost impossible to complete.
I managed to reach the 6 or 7th platform, but it was only luck.

The controls are very tricky, the base lvl, as soon you don't have play a bit, it's only suicide ^^

NEED a resolution of 1280 * 720 for Windows.
Once the game is running, it's a nice platformer, just I can't manage to pass the last obstacle of the lvl 2, as a boy or a bird, my hitbox is too large...
Some adjustment could be nice, as the transition from boy to bird, we lose all the velocity, (but from bird to boy it's nice)
Same for the song, the melody is nice but for a "fail and retry" running game it's a bit annoying to always have only the 10 first seconds of the song.

Else, for download for now, we need to click on the folder title and on the drop down menu chose "download".
The game is a bit complicated, the keys to pick the items are not well choosed, we need two hands on the same area and it's quite confusing.

The concept look polished but lack of some explanation. Is that a 2 player game ? I play against myself or their is an IA ? I missed that part too.
Great entry, Beautiful graphisms and mood, I liked all the detailed items, The only problem is that it's way to hard ! Goog thing that their is no game over and that you can still play when you should have been dead, I collect 28 item to keep only one at the end, the most important, but I don't think it's possible to collect more... Still, well done ! :)
Great game, very nice use of the theme and fun to play. Just miss a trashbin to remove the unwanted add, and maybe the possibility to move an add after we placed it.
I confirm, an endless mode could be fun. Nice work on graphics, simple gameplay but i'm sure you already have in mind many ways to agment it. ;).

I did not understand the goal...? Should I just run away, avoid the guys and ladys and focus on running ? The inverse ? Miss something like a score, i succeed to run for a while by getting all the ladies on my way, but was it the goal ? Still, I really liked the graphic style and the animations, some extra polish could de nice ( add the info about the key used in somwhere in game could be a great add )

Well done ! 6"44 on first run, it's fluid, audio assets are nice and fit perfectly, visuals are simple but efficient. Maybe the tutorial a bit long, most of cards are already self explaining. I liked the difficulty balance, it's not easy to succeed having something with a real progressive (and not punishing) difficulty and you did it perfectly !

No problems with cutscenes (could be faster). For the gameplay, when you get the idea, it's very complicated to lose the game. I wish it was more tricky and also get a track of your Chrono. Maybe on the end cutscene use the number of peoples saved as the time you stayed alive ?

As other already said, some increasing difficulty could be interesting, also the music is quite anoying after some loops ^^ Keep track of the current best could be interesting to add too. But despite of all those details, it was fun ! :) Nice entry.
I liked the variations in gameplay, simple but effective. Good work on this one. "You can play a better game now" <= I know I could play mine, but I already know it, your game is fine !
I managed to finish it !(I think...? I turned zombie?) Hopfully their is check point.
For those who are stuck, try to run(shift) and jump, that give invulnerability frames on gards !
Same problems, some checkpoints are not safe enouth and gards spot you immediatly Nice voicesover, i did not get everything but nice ^^
The second part (after the warehouse) is easier and more interesting that the first.
Good job on animations too.
I played 20mn before i quit, with 200+ of each units in reserve and a little bored. Took me long time before undersand how to build something (the drag and drop) and after that it was way too easy. The 2D graphics are some of the best i see so far, animations are nice too and the game is well polished, very good work on that, but it lack of fun for me.
Nice one, just a huge step in the difficulty on lvl 3 (144s for me) I'm confused by the team size ! What did all thoses peoples ? Their is not enouth work for 15 artists on 2 or 3 days ? Still a nice game ^^
I want round corners ! It's way too difficult for me and my basics mouse skills ^^ It's still a great submit, nice graphics, fun to plays with some nice feature (the leadboard) to polish the overall. Good work.

Nice one, first i think to a simple limbo glone but the eyes mechanics is creating a singular mood and a nice gaming experience. I noticed after the note about custom key binding, was awfull in not qwerty... But I had seen the cheat code andi finish the game by locking the eyes on the forest. Nice game, congrats.
@bottled-up-dark-peace : I play the usual game, I just use the "+" cheat tools with the option "Pause Eyes" for the forest level (I manage to pass without that before). And of course, i reactivate them on the last level ;) I'm not that good on english sorry for the confusion ^^ [ but thoses who writes the texts on the narrative game i published are much better ;) ;) ;) ]
@bottled-up-dark-peace It's working well, the reaveal of the pased out family, the last on alive... on many games you are supposed to let you die at the end (mine too), but it's the theme and on your game it's nicely introduced. For the game, The eyes closing could be a little slower, maybe mixed with a black/blud fade over. On this version it's complicated to get really focus on the game story by pressing continuly jljljljljjljljl, myself I finish to desactivate it... but I know what it is to make a 72h game. ;) Still, I had fun :)
I rage quit ! ^^ (the checkpoint just after the one in the previous com) You should display the changelog on the game description, and maybe let the JAM version available somewhere Good thing you didn't give up, their is still a lot fixes, this kind of game need to be very very precises, in physics and map pattern to be realy good, keep going, it's already a good game, not much to do before it will be a great one.
Nice, Just some collisions issues that make the game very complicated on the first 4/5 runs but after I manage to pass ~10 levels (I don't know how many, we don't have count of that) before I rage quit ! ^^
Also, it's a nice feature to have the sound button on the main menu ! It was sweet at first and I appreciate silence too. :)
