Cool jump sound, but I blocked the path with myself :D

Cool jump sound, but I blocked the path with myself :D
This game is just simple and fun. The thinking in two separate trains (worlds) nicely fullfils the theme just in different way than other games which I really appreciate.
Great name and 8bit style graphic and sound. Game concept is classic and fun. The is a little bit hard for me, but i guess it comes with oldschool graphics :)
Awesome game. Pretty tought but fair.
Atmospheric game with awesome music and good mood, where I really don't know what to do :D.
Once I understood the mechanics, game started to be actually really fun. Give it nice graphics, a tutorial and you have very original platformer.
It's quite ok platformer, but I don't see a theme here.
First person shooter with nice graphics. I lacked any challange as it look like those aliens can't kill me or anything. The music is good for the mood thought.
Nice game, but I need the hand one click longer in the second level, I couldn´t pass through:)
really fun and polished game, although quite hard for me, I'd really like to try next levels! make it more accessible! :)
Impressive game, but I could not finish it ... I always got stucked between two platforms in second level and couldn ´t fall down. But the heavy mood was really captivating.
I like the collecting element of game, but the thing with robot is a little bit clunky for me. Either the levels for robot to go throught should be a little bit different and more challangind every time or there should be some new mechanic, like digging stuff, or moving something somewhere or connecting something.
Overall the art and music is good and finding ways to take a picture of animals is definitelly satisfying. Although I could figure out what to do with that piece of ice (or what is it) that appeared in the middle world when I connected it with the right one.
Its fun game with classic gameplay. Execution is good, sounds are great. I don't see any theme interpretation here thought.
It looks promising.
The concept is good but the game needs more levels. Still, it's nice that there is a game for two people on one comp out there.
I will never get married :D
I had fun trying to shoot cylinders on the island with fishes, also nice ship movement and ship art, other than that, not much of a gameplay :)
Good game, I got stuck on it trying to make most money so it is definitelly catchy. It would be nice though if I could see the status of the worker, where and why is he going there and also status of the facilities as I wasn't sure if there is some time needed for usage. Just some UX stuff, the core design is good and fun! :)
Great idea, mood, I also liked the graphics and sounds, but the game is really quite hard. Tried to play it like 15 times and only one of those I managed to eat like 4 sheeps. It would be better to add a hunger meter and alert meter and maybe try to add dificulty that would scale decreasing speed of those values and give a score based on that or something that similar. I love this idea and I think it has potential.
Nice game, for me it was inovative. I was really enjoying the game and I really appreciate the graphic design.
This is a nice game and I think it could somehow fit the theme (new story and other graphics are enough). So you could try to create something thematic next time :).
The game got my attention enought that I got throught it because I wanted to find out how it will end. It was just the right amount of difficulty to feel good about overcoming obstacles but not be frustrated by them. Would like to kill that woman at the end though :D
Great graphic design and sound efects. It was really fun!
Interesting how much my gamestyle changed after I read the instructions, because at first I naturally assumed that the hitting makes me weaker, but it doesn't make sense in the context of snowman, doesn't it :D Not bad, fun clicking browser game for those empty timeslots in work :)
I like the inspiration with classic story. I think the graphic design fits the story well and I really enjoyed the playing. I appreciate the new challenges in levels. The game is really well balanced.
Funny idea, good theme, nice graphics, sounds too are creating good atmosphere. The game design is such that if you know what to do, is it very easy, replayability is really low here. If you want replayability it would be good to think about some skill based gameplay maybe combined with what you have. Still fun entry though :).
great graphics, gameplay is a really hard but at the end I manage to slay 14 heroes which I considered success :) would love to say more weapons and/or more stealthy approach, once I unstealthed myself, they were all over me and sice their numbers are many and they have goddamned shotguns I felt helpless in the end anyway. Overall the game is fun though.
The concept of telling the story was interesting. For me the prehistoric theme did not really fit to this Ludum dare theme. Graphic design and the story teler together created nice feeling.
This was kinda fun but I would aprreciate to have some restart button to not need to relaunch the game everytime I die....
The art is nice but it needs better functionality to be a good game. Also after the final hat boss defeated me, the game freezes and I could repeat the fight or start over or do anything for that matter.
The game was pretty fun with nice graphics and fittig audio, but It suffers from some bugs with coins spawning into player and then blinking forever(which is not a showstopper) or monsters spawning into spawning coin and then getting stuck (also not a showstopper) or player getting stuck into spawning coin which is a showstopper and it ended the game for me in 2-2 stage. Otherwise it fun and I definitelly wanted to keep playing the game and complete it.
Also i could find any theme for so from my perspective it was unfitting for the theme.
I like the balancing and I agree that it can be hard because real life is hard, but I cannot agree with mechanic that your happinnes goes down when you sleep! It's the other way around! :D
This is really awesome average 9-5 worker simulator! At the start the gameplay wasn't obvious to me without looking at video of it and I think what could help would be highlighting the hovered "active" item and putting the description more in the middle of screen because you're constantly changing active item by hovering and checking status of things.
Other that that, briliant. The graphics, the idea, the execution, really good!
Although I didn't finished it because apparently my food deliveries got stuck somewhere on the way :D after like 10 minutes of play.
As I am a control freak, I would like to see some progress bar underneath the solar towers so I could see where are they in terms of resource generation. Also I didn't quite understood which towers get unplugged when there is not enough energy, neither I was sure how often and when towers are consuming the energy. I concider these things to be quite important in this tower defense genre as player wants to have maximum amount of control and overview over his realm of towers so he can make decisions quickly and comfortably.
Good concept, the random generation could use some fine tuning and special case handling, but generally it works and is easily understandable. Definitely a good job!
I have to say this game is very confusing to me. I didn't know what are individual nodes for, what me role in it (since it moves itself), what those sounds that are being played mean, why do I fail the level, what are those brown dots in third level, what the nodes color mean... overall nice screensaver, but there is no gameplay for me.
I mean the graphics are great and music as well and the game might be good, I just didn't understand it at all.. so some thorough explanation for dumb people like me?
Good learning curve and meaningful settings together with fitting graphics and excellent audio track makes this pretty solid game!
the concept was actually ok to understand and it makes sense, but I still kept clicking the wrong coins in that rush. Otherwise quite simple but stylish graphics and great music makes this pretty high quality entry for me. I didn't finish it though, it felt quite hard.. or maybe just challenging :)
I like these kinds of games, where it's just big playground that you can discover on your own pace and style. I feel like the graphics and sounds fit the overall style quite well, the only thing I would like to see is better explained concepts of where the money are coming from. I had my guess but I wasn't really sure if it is right or not. There doesn't need to be exact numbers, just general "this yield money and if this, it yield more money". As I read in the comments, it depends also on how satisfied your citizens are which I really wouldn't have guessed (taxes has to be payed whether I'm happy or not). But overall really good job on making me busy for quite some time :)
I like the art style but the game felt really difficult from start and the concept could use some more originality...
I've now put at least some ending to the game so it doesn't feel so unfinished and I plan to make it into something decent later on. Making the obstacles and the level in general is also quite fun :)
Interesting idea with abilities taken away, not sure if this is something that adds to the gameplay, but its definitely good that someone explores this area. I like the graphics and the story and also the 2D platformer controls had quite good feeling, so this could a good base to solid game.
This is a solid base for a tower defens-style game. Obviously you just go around and shoot enemies ATM (unless I missed something) but there are many types of units, that could be even more different than just movement speed (and maybe the damage they deal). There could be things like electric-biotic types, that you can use different kinds of ammunition on, they could have different type of armor etc. The graphics is also very nice. I like the combination of this pixel/16 bit art with realtime lighting. Also the shield could have functionalities, atm it seemed it is rather week. I would expect something like zap the enemies back or somthing in similar manner. But i definitelly had some amount of fun here :) Good job!
The fact that the power is being drained regardless of what you do encourages usage of break a lot. However neither the movement or the jump or the gravity really feels good to control. The graphic was quite nice and the music as well.
The concept could be fun, but it is unfurtunatelly burried in very hard to control interface... for example the sit animation might not even be there it is unneceserally disturbing and slows down the steer/check sonar main game mechanic loop. I also had trouble with just general controlling the character (why no WSAD?) and when I wanted to go to menu it actually quit the session I was running. It's good try for the first jam though, keep it up!
wow, fun game with enough variety in mum behaviour and cofee spawns that kept multiple plays entertaining. fitting graphics and sounds and good context that anybody here can sympatize with. Some inventory overview maybe with ability to use target item would be good, but that's just nice to have...
great depth with simple concept and simple mechanic... and the mood with such simple tools, you really let the imagination work... I love it!
I loved the graphics and the music. The gameplay is little monotonous, due to the jumping being the only mechanic. Jumping and moving of character feels fine although I feel that double jump gets triggered quite soon, the question is if it even should trigger on jump hold and shouldnt require additional jump press. The transitions between levels in also little confusing, because sometimes you start from right side and sometimes from left for no apparent reason (at least not apparent to me) And the mechanic is a little shame since because of it I'm playing basically the whole game in dark but the pixel art is actually quite nice. It's good that you tried to explore this concept of "can't move in light" but it turns out that if you can play the game just as fine in dark, it's like it's not event there. Maybe you could be in dark completely (not see anything) so players have to remember the way a little bit and just switch the light on and off for a little while? And during those moments you could be showing some monsters! :D haha there are definitelly some cool stuff that could be done with this concept!
The game is fun althought I've definitelly seen exactly this type of mechanic couple times before. In the context of this LudumDare it is fitting though. I would definitelly appreciate to be able to play right after restart and not to wait until the instructions roll off. Sounds are also appropriate and graphics are simple, but they work.
I love these kind of semi-interactive moody and artsy experiences, very well done, wasn't really sure if I'm going into right direction with the space scene, but I guess that was kindof one of the points. Kudos!
The game is really pretty hard, the easy way to decrease the difficulty could be in adding checkpoint in the level, so it doesn't feel so frustrating failing at the end of the level. Also maybe changing the heigh of jump on jump hold could add a little bit of skill or some more bonuses that add power to you throughout the level. Also the game is actually pretty hectic and the music, while nice, doesn't really convey that style of game to the player and he could be suprised that he needs to rush throughout everything and can't think or enjoy or experiment in the game very much.
I wanted to enjoy the story and like the idea of making a game based on five stages of denial but due to the nature of game, at the end I didn't really cared about any of it as I was just... angry and frustrated... :/
I definitelly felt that there is some strategy in using the thrusters to fly over obstacle and let your buddies crash those rocks so the gameplay for me wasn't that one dimensional, but if the game can be completed just by holding right something's not right... however I always like physic based games and I was able to complete it so it was fun for me :) ... also I would appreciete some measure or progress bar of how far I am from the ship, it might add to the drama :) Also it happen to me in one go that my buddy got stuck on some rocks so maybe they could also be using thruster when they get into stuck situation?
Intially it was hard for me, but then I found out the way and from that moment it was easy enough and satisfying... that's what I like about games, this game me the ideal amount of "resistance" before I managed to "crack" it. Not like defeat or finish but just to find the optimal strategy. So I don't know if that was intentional or not but it created very good play experience for me. The music was good and moody, although some interaction sounds or sounds of steam/crystals would be better. The theme and the idea was quite original too and the graphics were good too. Overall, nice and short entry, but it totally worked for me!
The game is nice, it works and is understandable. It was a bit easy for me but I prefer that in LudumDare entries to being frustrating. One easy way to increase difficulty could be put some shooting towers with different projectile speed and different shooting delay. Also there seems the be too much pillows (or bags) to put on the pressure plates. The audio was a bit quiet but one can just increase overall volume. The graphic are simple, nice and consistent, they suit the environment. Well done!
The color pallete and animations are great, would be nice if there would be some challenge but that's the nature of tamagochi like games I guess. The exploration part was fun though.
I love this game! Awesome graphics gameplay and sounds. I loved how the game turned from - aim and shoot enemies - and also pickup the coins - oh they are blowing up - keep them in the middle and circle them while collecting coins and occasionally shoot them... yeah once I found the right strategy I was able to last 10 minutes and then I had to turn it off since my head started hurt from all those screen shakes :D but I had blast up until then. One of my favorite entries so far, very addictive and well done. Not to mention of great way of implementing the theme...
Lots of mechanics offer different approaches to overcome the obstacle which I really like. The sounds and music are quite fitting. The 3D visuals were simple but fitting apart from those unfortunate shady alleys, those could use some soft custom shader. Overall the theme is well executed with this one, great job!
Solid proven mechanic, with original twist. Dialogue tree to slow down enemies is briliant, but I was actually interested in the story the most. It was simple but intriguing. Some UX improvements would be to display area where towers can be build and health above enemies. Also, the third level felt a bit too much restricted as to where you can build the towers.
Good graphics and the progressive health decrease is bringing certain stress to a player. That tight together with the fact that sometimes you need to hit chest/door and sometimes interact (and hit chest just from specific angle) can create quite frustrating experience. I think the game would work much better just as it is without the progressive decrease of health but increased damage of enemies. Also the knockback from being hit seemed super huge.
Pretty complete entry, loved the mood, atmosphere, music and visuals (especially the rain effect). It seemed like a one closed chapter of the story and it did a pretty good job in that. The gameplay was classic, fun a bit too one dimensional, but great for jam entry, no major bugs there. Enemies were getting stuck a bit, but that happens even in much more ambitious games. One little note for controls, I would love to see if you could strafe and move without rotating your character and determine your facing direction with your mouse. Also the slowdown and speedup when you start moving could be faster. Also one little detail about the character animation - try to connect the movement speed with the animation speed (or just blend between idle-walk-run based on movement speed), it looks better when you're not moving the full speed. BTW the slash animation looked pretty good! Overall, great job!

Really good game, I don't really like doing banking operations so I'm not exactly looking for simulations of that but objectivelly you game is very well made and deserves a praise!
I really enjoyed your game! I had fun doing different body tradoffs as well as impatiently waiting for the medic (and they were coming at start of my reign the most, which was kindof annoying). Graphics were good and appropriate and sounds nicely accompanioning the atmosphere. There was also humor and original implementation of theme. This game has it all! Great entry!
I liked the idea, actually my game had a bit similar one, with days you need to go through, only the gameplay is different. I feel like responding to email is eating a bit too much health but otherwise I think it's pretty balanced and I enjoyed the progression when I was buying more stuff so I could sustain more life... kind of sad now that I think about it, which makes the game even better, the fact that it can inspire such realizations ;)
The gameplay and grahics were great, audio didn't work for me, so I don't give rating for that. Pretty tough and skill demanding but I like it, add a shop and/or progression system and you got yourself full little mobile game ready to launch!
The graphics, sounds and effects are superb, but it would be really great if the Q and E was something more that button that you need to occassionally mash to not die (or have an effect on screen? not sure). I didn't get very far, but some upgrades like air jump or temporary shield could be incorporated if you continue work on the game. Otherwise really polished entry with solid basic mechanics and two unneccesary ones :)
Not a bad first entry, good job. Simple graphics and sounds (music was great), functional gameplay with emphasis on upgrades. In my third playthrough I got the the point where the whole screen was filled with enemies that I could all shoot with one bullet but there were so many of them and my gun was so slow and they were spawning so fast, that I just could kill them and they kept on replicating. I couldn't die and we were just cramped on the sceen. Having another upgrade of firing rate and larger emeny damage would solve this greatly.
Nice, coherent graphics and good take on the mechanics. It was a little confusing as to when the skip is consumed, I though I'm gonna go over the wall, also would be great if there would be some satisfaction at the end, or at least "Your life has ended with score X". I agree with the scoreboard. I don't know if it was a bug but not all colored squares were interactable, I guess they are there as sort of diversion (you want to go somewhere but you don't know if there are actually people that want to talk to you?).
pretty good puzzle with quite unclear rules about who combines with who in what way, so it was more challenging to find out how the game works and then remember it than solving the actual puzzles. But some UX tweakes and you got great game right there, good job!
I liked the audio - am a big fan of self-producing sounds for own game :) however I was unable to pick up the damn box, got stuck in some wierd rotation that I could not get from. On the restart I magically got it, the box flew into air for some reason. It would also help a great deal if I could strafe instead of rotate (left and right arrow) and in the level with platform I could not move forward, I instead rotated left, not sure if bug or feature, but it was kind of annoying since I wanted to know how the story with poor guy will develop. Anyway I like the factory/working room it gave me the right depressing worker mood :)
Fun slasher with original and good graphics. I have a little note for jumping across blue hurting stripes (water? some kind of electricity?). When they're vertical, it's ok, but jumping down or up somehow doesn't work or at least not as I would expect it to. Even if I hold down and press jump right before the obstacle I end up on it instead of behind it. I guess it has to do with the pseudo-3D thing. The effect on the top and the sound made curious about what it actually is, creates a bit of a mystery. Otherwise nice flowy-bloomy visual effects. Also I didn't really notice that my damage increased after level finish but that might be because the enemies were so easy to kill.
Quite good for the first game, good job! I had a lot of troubles with shooting enemies, the projectile but also movement of your character could be a bit slower. Also I noticed that you can actually die when your mutate menu is on, which is really annoying. I also couldn't notice anything changed when clicking on mutations, so I considered that part bugged. But I had fun, the game was a big frantic fight for survival and the progression of you getting bigger was really satisfying. Overall, great job!
I think that the idea is really good - use memories to repel death - I like it. Graphics are nice understandable and consistent. I would consider opt out of Audio Category since the game has no audio (at leat not for me) and Humor (since the game is not suppose to be humorous). However what broke it for me is that I could not alway drag the memories even now in the "updated" version and since it is basically the only mechanic (It seems that the value with what you push the death is more or less random per memory) it is pretty much game breaking.
Simple and understandable controls allows to play right away. Felt quite overwhelmed really quickly, couldn't bring any coins even once. It would be great if there would be some obstacles that I could hide behind or if I could do some dodge move for example. Also maybe lower enemy health since there are simply too many of them with too much health and you're losing you ammo as you get hit and loosing health as you shoot. Which is great implementation of theme btw :) Also the framing of game made me feel pretty bad - "piggy entrusted you with bringing the coins" and "he lost everything because of you". That didn't really made me want to play the game again, especially because it is so hard/I'm so bad at it. I suggest more positive framing, maybe "No coins brought this time, but you got XX% the way towards the bank. Let's try it again and this time, beware those pesky thiefs!" Overall, great job!
