It's too easy to get hurt. The enemy death animation is kind of gross. I played it several times, hoping to get the skill tree full. But I failed.

This game has a nice progression loop where you collect resources, upgrade, get stronger, and then collect even more resources. It felt pretty good to play overall. I did run into some issues, though. Pressing ESC made the game freeze, and in cases like the screenshot, the numbers at the top became very hard to read after clicking an upgrade. This feels like a first game, and I think that alone is worth encouraging. Everyone starts somewhere, and finishing a game is already a good achievement. The content is a bit basic at the moment, but it is still nice to see someone take the first step. One thing I would suggest is changing the first-person movement controls from ZQSD to WASD, because ZQSD felt very unintuitive to me.
