Actually a really nice idea! But damn, it's very hard right from the beginning. I was slowly approaching enemies and shooting them from a safe distance. Just when I managed to collect a few energy pods the station was attacked and destroyed :)
Make it a bit easier for starters and also, sounds! Could get quite a interesting game.

Very good concept, very innovative! It took me a while to figure out that you could buy upgrades, but when I did the game just got so much more fun!

this is suprisingly hard and complicated, yet also fun, i think its much better if the hotkey located with just number rather than letter, but honestly tho, i'm not really good at it, probably i suck at the micro manage the resources, absolutely well done !
Quite hard but really fun if im being honest! I will save so I can play later again :)

Great idea, very challenging - maybe you should make it a bit easier at the start, screen cut of at the bottom in small HD screen. Nice graphics. Great job!

Amazing game, amazing idea. Just needs a bit more polish. Also the game is not going full screen and its bottom parts are going out of screen. My screen is 16:9 (1366x768)

@ytaha Thanks for your feedback. Now you can set the window size with mouse or maximize the window.

This is a great idea. I love how you really have to plan your use of the systems very carefully. I agree with others that it is very hard, though.

It takes a while to learn the controls, but once you get some practice, it's fun to play. I love the micromanaging aspect of the game, takes it to a whole new level over the top down space shooter. The mechanics don't feel gimmicky at all, but I think the game could've implemented the jam theme in a more complete way. Also you can work around the memory limit by constantly switching on and off the on system.
The graphics are good enough, a bit rough at some places, but what can you do, we only have so much time to work on the game.
Overall, it's a really difficult and engaging game, but with a bit more polish, it can become something great. Good job!
This is a really good game! After a few tries I got the hang of it and trying to balance everything while you are being shot at is really fun!
Controls are a little difficult to master, just when I was starting to get the hang of them, I giant alien attack me. I like the concept tho.
it was really fun and hard game took a will to get used the management system at the start kept dieing with out knowing what was going on

I love how you combine FTL-style management with the freedom of being able to control the ship!
I kind of wish the management aspect is more flesh out while toning down the hotkey-switching reflex required go properly play the game.

Spacecraft OS 8 looks pretty nice. “Systems powering” resembles the same mechanics in FTL , but the need to switch “on the fly” makes it crucially harder – so while playing it makes you think that you need a couple of additional fingers. I think the interface may be improved: 1) Prices in energy units (how much it costs to switch on some function in energy-lines) 2) Let player to press buttons with mouse, so you don't have to do everything with keyboard. Enemies are disappointing a bit : they are pretty primitive and the only thing about complexity of killing them – is to press correct buttons promptly. So if problems with the interface will be fixed – enemies will become whipping boys.
It was really cool I enjoyed it a lot :D
I only needed the engine, rotating and shooting system to complete it though (and sometimes the info system, if I was curious how much health does the boss have left) It's nice having all these options but you don't really need them :P
This is super in-depth! It took me a couple deaths to get the hang of things, and realizing when to use what combination of things (like rotating and shooting at the same time) I dig this quite a bit

I wanted to slap the smug look off that alien face after he killed me, haha. Memorable game, though a bit overwhelming at first with all the options. I wasn't sure what to do. I like the visuals and the flying mechanic seemed really smooth. Overall, nice game!
@jharler 'Smug look' sums it up perfectly - watching them smash my ship while I keep starting up the Guide System in panic! Really novel idea, I enjoyed it!

It really is an interesting game ! The memory management part reminds me a lot of Faster Than Light. But the difficulty curve should be reversed : the game should be easy at first and then progressively become harder, not the other way around :p ! I would suggest that you add more base energy and weaker enemies at the beginning to let the players get comfortable with the controls.
Anyway, great work !

I like this game concept very much. In beginning, there is difficulty approachable, but I enjoyed manipulating the ship more and more. Controling many keys feels reality of a space ship. I cannot clear the game after all, but this game has a charm that continue to playing long. Sorry if my English is not good :) Nice works!

Very good concept, great ideas. I had to play around a bit to understand how every part works but then it really makes sense!
Cool concept. I like how doing anything in the game takes up space, haha. This game is ridiculous and difficult but that adds to the fun of it. I can't say anything bad about it. Overall great execution on the concept.
Great art style and sound. Good job. I like the mechanics as well. Keep it up!
Please do check my game maybe you’ll like it and leave some feedback.
