@tuism First of all, thank you for feedback. I liked how you just mentioned the bad parts, thats what game developers need, right :smile:
1) I know the gameplay gets boring because of clicks. But the auto fire system will probably destroy the entire game.
2) I thought its easy to count the shots, three for zombies, five for knights, the health bar will fill the screen.
3) I agree on that, i suck at music making :sweat_smile:
4) At first it ment to be a bush/plant gun, instead of shrinking powerups, you will burn them and get extra space etc. But the bush didnt look good and people cant realise its a bush so i replaced it with a "buble gun"

@jorbits The aspect ratio really pisses me off. Because i use a pixelator, it should be 16:9 (because of an odd problem) The parts that are black technically out of bounds but it draws somehow. I will try a different solution. Thanks for the name typing bug, i dont know how did i miss that :smile:

@jamesolivermusic Amazing suggestions. New weapons is coming, a rocket launcher is really good like a tier 4 weapon, if you miss, extra punishment. I think its a bit early or late for multiplayer. I would definetly add multiplayer if i release this game on steam. I am thinking about a remake with alot more polish and depth. And maybe a artist and musician to help me out :smile:

Nice graphics but its so hard. I spend 20 minutes and passed third obsticle and died instantly. I rage quited :laughing: We really need a checkpoint system.
Really good game, sfx is little funny tho :smile: I think the bombs explode a bit early but as you said, no time for balancing :thumbsup:
Fun little game. But i think camera is zoomed in alot. I headslammed to borders without seeing them. And you should know that most people(including me) doesn't read controls or description. So maybe a text telling the objective would be nice. :thumbsup:
Great game, placing buildings is a bit hard, and it needs some optimization (i played this in my notebook) but other than that, a sweet look to the theme. Keep up the good work :thumbsup:
Amazing game! I enjoyed alot when playing, i dont know why but after about 30 turns, the "pick up"(Shovel Icon) changed to "Place Here". Amazing game, amazing idea. Just needs a bit more polish. Also the game is not going full screen and its bottom parts are going out of screen. My screen is 16:9 (1366x768)
Amazing graphics, and great polish. Sfx is really funny and great, it might have a soft piano background music. The way your tutorial works is just amazing. Every game should have their tutorial like that, not with a piece of long and boring text. Nice game :smile:
The game looks amazing,but there is just nothing to do, just chop chop chop chop, the game is easy because of that. Surviving till 6AM is just so boring. Maybe you collect food or do something different with wood. Good Luck!
Music is just 11/10, i can listen to it all day long. The game needed some particles and its a bit hard to know where are the enemies are, so a radar or minimap will be nice. It took so long to get the mechanics, it really needs a tutorial

Great game and has a lot of work in it but its really complex and bit unbalanced. I can just ignore them and walk to the door and finish the level

Amazing game. It was just full of polish and it feels really nice to run and gun. Didn't get what to do at the start but then got it. Btw I have a 2ms macro on my mouse and its just super OP like that. I just stood at the middle of the crops and held macro and rotated. It was like a laser beam. Always, always mind macros :smile:
Great game. I can see the effort that you put in. You should improve the camera controls. I found out that instead of going down i just standed in the mountain and killed everybody i faced with. And i sacrificed the things i found at the mountain. You got a 5 star from me :smile:
Great game. After 5 tries and near 1 hour, I still couldn't finish it. It took some time for me to understand the controls. You really need to decrease chromatic aberration.
I really liked the game. I can see the amount of effort you put in. The 60 seconds like the style and 1-bit graphics, that fits in really nice actually. A music may be great but of course, not everyone can make music, me included :sweat_smile:
Amazing game, from graphics to sfx to music. The only thing i can say is the platformer motor you are using seems to have some bugs. Especially about walls. You should use no friction physics materials :sweat_smile:

I don't know if you did but the game actually ends when you charge up the spaceship and load it with scraps :sweat_smile: But other than that yeah, you die after some time. At first, it was raining ginions all of the time. But I changed that because that way it wouldn't make sense that they crashed their spaceship. Thanks for the feedback!

@mestrerothld Thanks, dude! I think I made the learning curve "by mistake" but it looks like it worked pretty well. And the reason is whatever you do, it gives you a little notification of what happened. Will use that technique in most of my games :smile:

Maybe you can add a little more variety to the game because it can get boring real fast. Maybe something that clones them and sends one to right and one to the left or something like that :sweat_smile:
Fun game. The movement is a little hard and you might improve the graphics a bit but overall it was fun. But you really should have to use slow motion in this game. There was a gif you send in the discord and it just looked awesome in my opinion :smile:
The art is great and the puzzles look interesting. But the game is near unplayable with that field of view. You really need to zoom out a little bit. And i couldn't find the second key :sweat_smile:

Amazing game, played it for like 30 minutes. The music was depressing but on point. I think the spell that penetrates everything is too OP. I just standed in the middle of the map and used that spell left and right. And of course i get bored and tried different spells.
But really liked the idea, just think of a party game, maybe topdown 4 players. Using different spells and changing them. That sounds cool
Amazing game. The art is simplistic with a lot of polish. The game just feels great to play. The background is looking pretty. I liked the mechanics, the fact that you can only aim at the lit tiles.
There is one thing I would love to see in your game. When you open the upgrades menu the game could go in a "slow-motion" mode. I find myself not opening the menu just because I don't have much time for it. And I am pretty sure that the game will look extra awesome in slow mode :smile:
I just thought of an advanced version of this game. A different type of tower defense. Think of it like reactors, different guns, unlockables, different types of enemies, maybe even workers to do some work!

I really enjoyed playing. It seems that there are some problems with physics and platformer motor. And maybe you can add 1 or 2 more levels. But other than that, the art and music were awesome!
That was the best jam game i ever played. When i first saw the lorem ipsum part i am like "Yeah, i didn't know that, sounds interesting" and then really that part was boring. Then i laughed out loud. Really well done. One thing that i can say is a restart button. I sometimes have no change to die other than to play the lorem ipsum part again. Other than that, you got 5 stars from me!win.PNG

@pierre-cilluffo Well done :) I find it difficult balancing the game. I made it that enemies nearly give the same damage you give to them. But I think i have to change this. Maybe I should spot if the player is doing great and bump up the difficulty at around 3000 blood drops :)
@zeriver You are right. I need some kind of "attack radius indicator" thing. Also beind a speedy boi dont really work well with this AI. I haven't thought about this earlier. I should make AI more open to fast bois. Playing like that is super fun. Oh and maybe a damage bonus for dashing and attacking, there are tons of thing to add ;)
@cocapasteque Haha, like if you can upgrade your size too and after some time you kill the small fast bois with your feet and fight with other giants. Damn that would be fun

Fun game. The fact that cursor is green made it hart to see. Shooting 2 or even 3 birds with one shell was really fun. Tho the reload mechanic needs some balancing. I give 10 upgrade to the reloading, set my mouse macro to around 150ms and voila, a machine gun ready to fire

Amazing game. Really liked the mechanics. It's kind of fun. The game lacks polish, tho that's mostly because this is a compo game. Controls are a bit hard. You can make the player move 1 tile every time. Like chess pieces. That way it's much easier to pick-up stuff.
The second thing is accidentally picking up the water bottle is really frightening. Maybe there could be a small inventory like slot 1 is always here for the water bottle, you cant drop it, etc.
After 2 games. I learned the mechanics and game was super easy. After I made the first food. There is not much more to do. There should be a second mechanic that forced the player to always cook something and never stop. Maybe you get younger when you eat veggies but you get old faster.
Other than that, the mechanics are great. I would love to see a party game made with this idea.

Only thing i can say is changing the spawning mechanics a little bit, maybe not every one of them spawn at the same time.
Absolutely amazing game. I was hooked, finished both normal and hard mode. And musics really fits the game. The armored green enemies were hard but so satisfying to kill, great design. 10/10
Very cool game. I loved the shader effects a lot! Tho as @noytroo mentioned the attacking was hard, hitboxes need some tweaking. Other than that, 10/10
Cool game. Animations and sfxs are perfect, and the music is really relaxing :P I got 54 days, last one lived for 10 days.
I don't know what to say. It's a perfect puzzle game. It was the fastest tutorial I'we ever seen. Like I played the game before haha. 10/10
WOW, that's a lot for a compo game. Looks more like it took a month. Amazing polish, amazing sfx, amazing gameplay. I am not surprised to see super long text based tutorial at the start after seeing this game was compo. Got bored reading all the tutorial but then figured it out myself after one play. I should say it's just perfect haha. One thing, I was playing this on a mac and as you can guess, it runs really slow. Maybe add an option just for disabling post processing because looks like you use a lot (don't get me wrong it looks amazing!)

I am hooked to this game. Survived for 23 mins and died while exploring. Some things I should say is the purple ore is super rare. And it's really hard to explore because of the fire. Biggest problem was carrying wood to the base, first trees ran out super quick and the other ones were too far away. I upgraded my tools to the purple color, I don't know If there are levels beyond that but a picaxe that can mine stone walls would be amazing.
Snowmans nearly always drop keys. I lost the screenshot but my base was filled with keys. And chances of the dropping wood was soo rare. I only encountered like 3 probably. They dropped a lot of stones tho.
Pathfinding needs some tweaking, maybe game slowly shifting to a idle game like forager where you set your torches, and enemies will come and die automatically, giving you resources etc. Most of the snowmans got stuck and never reached the base.
Anyways, I probably exceeded the games's regular play time haha. One of my favorites. Keep making games!

@quinn-patrick Oh, I actually made it more responsive but looks like it's not enough :P Thanks for the feedback, will tweak the radius and hand speed. There are some super simple magical things that make game fell amazing. Screen shake, screen flash, things flashing on damage or action, basic particles, DOTween and as always, blinking eyes :) I have ready codes for all of those, I don't know if you are interested or use unity at all but they are inside the code-base folder inside game's source code.
I probably gone too far with polish, maybe could'we spend some of that time in adding a new mechanic but hey, that's what I enjoy hehe.

Hahah the descriptions was a nice touch. Carrot is my favorite. I can feel you haven't had the time to polish and just made it but it's fun even like this. Only problem was not feeling the effects of the cards (as mentioned by every other comment lol). Neat game!

Finished the game but my fingers hurt now hehe. A simple, small game, perfect for this jam. More games should be like this, about 5 mins of gameplay not 20 mins of repeating the same thing :P I had fun playing, keep making games!
The tutorial was overwhelming and I was really confused for 5 mins. Then I figured out the gameplay. I should say I havent played Lemmings before but the idea was really cool. But the game was super hard. Especially the shoot command is quite buggy. When you missplace it and then try again, it doesn't shoot anymore or the aim stays the same... I never made it past level 2 and the game crashed. Amazing game, from menu to music to the gameplay, it's all good. Felt like playing papers please :P Playing until the end gets quite repetitive after first two days, but that's the common in literally every compo game, we don't have much time to add that much content in two days :) Would like to see a post-compo version
Ahaha reminded me of monument valley, the gradient look was so good. Also the footsteps made everything cuter. Playing in web, I sometimes had little struggles with clicking the right place because they were too small, other than that, 10/10
This was so damn good it's addictive. Finished it. The simple physics mechanics were soo hooking. There were times I did some stunts by chance, throwed the heart at the air and catched it and I am pretty sure most people experienced those kinds of stuff.
Just one small thing, it would be better if you didn't show the camera animation every single time. Maybe just at the start of each level once. It can get annoying course I die a lot haha

Oh that was amazing. The graphics, music and the idea is just perfect. Especially the first song feels so good. I am transcribing it right now!
There are just some minor problems, game lacked some SFX, footsteps and damage sounds, its hard to feel how much damage the band was getting, maybe that might be helpfull :P
The laser was not pointing at the cursor, this made it near impossible to play fast, do reflex like shots and of course 360's :) I think while firing the you should calculate direction from the (gun? guitar?)'s barrel.
Tutorial was overwhelming, everything was fighting for my attention and I was trying to play the game and read the text at the same time, maybe some good old slow-mo with a screen fade will fix it. But maybe you haven't used it because it would ruin the rythm I am not sure :P
Anyways, one of my favorites. Keep up the good work!
Neat simple game! Liked it. The physics when you hold a rock on the paper and throw them far away is super satisfying. Giving extra scores for stunts sound really good. I am probably going to make a game about that :P

Great idea, the cable physics and servers exploding makes the game feel much better. I will sure go check the code for cable physics :P Got stuck for some time at the last level but managed to figure it out :) Jump feels a bit weird, maybe make it work like mario, celeste way. The longer you hold, the higher the jump.
Fun game, loved the intro images :) Healing the base generator was super hard. Most of my time spend jamming E key haha. My highscore is 420
Wow, that's really advanced for a compo game. It took some time to figure out the mechanics but the game is amazing. Really felt like playing astroneer. Only difference is that game took years developing with a team and 2 days for this :P
Restarted the game three times because I thought I ran out of fuel for the crafting stations. It seems like they need one fuel, one wood and one that green thing. But then figured out that means fuel OR the green thing etc.
Miscrafted tons of things. Collecting resources was a pain. Picking up and dropping felt satisfying but one of the most important things is mining I think. It needs some polish but you probably just made it to the deadline :P
Btw I build the rocket, it launched and boom, nothing. Game freeze and I had to quit. Really want to play the rest of the game and please make post-compo version for this. Would like to play it :)

I would love to get some backstory on that dog lol. Liked it! Maybe make the sound object a singleton, music restarting everytime you change a screen or restart gets annoying after some time hehe. Other than that, neat game!
Wow, that was great. Music was peacefull and relaxing but I should say not really matching with the graphics :P I loved the music generation. I first thought you sticked to a key and added random notes but it has some kind of rhythm, probably more complex than that. Wonder how you made it

The intro was amazing, camera movements and music. The fact that you added a backstory instead of just saying these rise, these fall like what lazy me would do :P But you inspired me, I will now try to make a backstory for my future games hehe

I really liked the concept of a textless adventure game. I might steal that someday :D Firstly the art is amazing. Audio is really good. Doesnt really need a music. And the main thing is the game is too short, it doesnt really touch on a textless adventure without much story at all. But of course this is made in 48 hours so its quite normal :D Overall amazing game. Keep up the good work
Really needs a quick restart button like R for instant restart. Gets a little frusturating when you die after 2 seconds and have to wait 3 second to restart everytime :D

Best graphics I've ever seen on an ld game. Feels super polished and the even tho its not pixel perfect with like filters etc it feels like it somehow :D I am still curious how you made those plants on the earth they look so 3D with a depth on them. A run button would hugely help since its not really fun to collect people going right to left repetitively. When you reach the ship all people that are following you should enter the ship automatically.
Most fun I had in and LD game. You are amazing. Tho I guess I got stuck on jibberjabber part but maybe that was the end of the game ahaha. If it wasn't, I would play it again
Really nice game. Musics and graphics are perfect. Just a bloom effect can make it much better
