The art is really good! Maybe zoom the camera out a little, it looks cramped sometimes.

@rpgfaker Thanks for your review. We will probably keep working on it. This version might have bugs. And im gonna change stuff based on your review too.
the trader is quite broken, have one ring, press 'trade' and the ring is gone and I get nothing. Nice graphics and music, but the game needs some more direction, player help and polishing. fun concept, but some things are a bit broken.
Nice work the game is really nice. The close up on the character gave me hard time to play around. Keep going! The game is fun
The art is great and the puzzles look interesting. But the game is near unplayable with that field of view. You really need to zoom out a little bit. And i couldn't find the second key :sweat_smile:
you can @ me when you update the game :smile:
I can tell your team is art heavy because art is great @rpgfaker is right the camera was way to close I would say increase that I do not know if it is tearing or bad coding but the character like jitters.
@trash I dont really understand what happend to you. Thanks for you review. If you could explain it better than thanks.
@dancinoman I will zoom the camera out. Because as i see its bothering everyone.
@ytaha Thanks for your review. I dont quite understand. The quest you got should give you the key when finished.
I finished its almost after the dead line. That is why its so broken. Sorry for not working properly.
@caveman54 Its probably bad coding. I heavent really done camera movement.
This was the first time i made a 2d game. And this was the first time we made pixelart
Hm. I might need a hint :laughing: but I dont want to give up yet. If you could dm me or comment here some guide so I can get through, I'd love to see the end of the game!
Some thoughts: The levels seem quite large. It takes a long time to get from end to end with very little in between to interact with or look at.. I swept the level as best I could but I still feel like I may have missed something in the vast space in the middle of the room lol. I did Like the art and the music. They were very cute.
Sorry everyone i turned off a collider and you couldn't get to the 2nd key. Im fixing it right now.
@skettynmeebs Im fixing the bug i had by one missclick.
good game though
The bug is fixed you now can go on the 2nd key. Just download it again please. @ytaha @trash @rpgfaker @caveman54 @dancinoman @skettynmeebs
You got it dude @preda
Great music, it really enhances the mood. Very good pixel art for your first time. I would like if there was more sacrifices necessary. I completed the game without sacrificing any items.
@jcroisant Than you must know the ending.
5/5 no words just amazing
@anfaas1618 Thanks but some critisism would always help :)
so here you go work on camera settings make it more dynamic
@anfaas1618 Ok thaks you. Im conna check out you game too.
I had fun playing it ! But yeah.... Zoom Out ! xD
@wegpast Its was only cause i wanted the player to search. But i fuckd it up. Sorry!
@preda Oooh ok, I see now. It make me search, for sure :p Don't be sorry, you've tried and you ended-up with a good game after all so be proud ! :)
@wegpast You have one of the best games i played on the ld so you have something to be proud of too. Even prouder :D
Great game. Fun to play and has great art style.
@hakansoyozen Thanks!
nice artwork!
@mozitux Thanks!
Outstanding work, I love the art
@vlad-ilisan Thanks!
Field of view is a little close. With the textures you chose I was actually getting a little dizzy that close up. I love the main character art and the music was fun.
The art and music is original, it was really cool. I like how there are written dialogues which help understand what's expected of the player. But I found it easy to get blocked because of one bad choice which fills up the inventory and leaves no other choice but to start all over (unless I missed something?). Also, like other mentionned, it may have been feeled more comfortable with a more distant camera. Really good job overall!
@jeunegen Thanks for your review. When i remake some stuff. Your comment will be in consideration. Im gonna change stuff based on it too.
The zoom of the camera is really disturbing, especially with how big the house is. I'm not a fan of the "go fetch items" games, but there's potential in the game!
Hey guys i fixed a little bug with one click. You can consider beating it if you didnt!
@vodish Thanks for you review. Its important that i get citisism.
Your game was played on my stream ( twitch.tv/ursagames ) for the first day of Ludum Dare streams - you can find the timestamp of your game here: https://goo.gl/N2rkr8
To anyone who got a big bug at the start. Please redownload it.
I had a really good time with this, it was so nice I played it twice!! Great job for your first game and your age, keep at it!! Bring back awesome adventure games!!
@zombie-virals Thanks!
Most of my thoughts echo what was said by others.
* The camera is too zoomed in while the areas are vast and generally empty. It causes long stretches of monotony, in my mind. The very first level, a simple garden, is so massive that I tried my best to first explore it only to find... nothing interesting. * The sign that should say "Quests" next to the old man is misspelled. * The art style is neat. * I like the premise and the mechanic of "sacrificing" items, even though I can see how it would get tedious for a lot of people, to be basically locked into a position of not progressing and having to restart all over (and, again, the massive areas with that level of zoom make that restart more tedious than fun).
Overall, I'd say a solid idea that could've used more polish.
Could you stop spamming my Google form please? Thanks.
Very nice game, very atmospheric! Here's my attempt at remembering what the quest-giver told me ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTeUPXVSPps
