Its a pretty good game! Nice animation for the player! But it has bugs like any other game. The music is too loud.

@demn Hello i am working on it all day. I alredy implemented the use of money. I like your review its really useful. I will take your review in consideration when changing stuff. I would like you to join out discord server cause i want to get you updated! https://discord.gg/acUmHq
@gustavo-christino Hello. Im 13 years old. This was my first gamejam ever. Your comment gives me alot of ideas what i could change. But dont worry we are working on it already. I implemented the use of money. And the game has fixes. We are reworking the claw game. But still im not a programmer and i dont know too mutch. I made the store by myself together with the darkness minigame. I 3d modeld and animated the sprites. And now my mate cant work on it so i have to by myself. I really enjoyed reading your comment.
Nice game. You can play trough it a few times. Good thing you learned that engine with Power MT.
Very nice game! Very nice graphics too! So would you like to try mine too? https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/43/kinoko-no-kagi
Nice voice acting
@rpgfaker Thanks for your review. We will probably keep working on it. This version might have bugs. And im gonna change stuff based on your review too.
@trash I dont really understand what happend to you. Thanks for you review. If you could explain it better than thanks.
@dancinoman I will zoom the camera out. Because as i see its bothering everyone.
@ytaha Thanks for your review. I dont quite understand. The quest you got should give you the key when finished.
I finished its almost after the dead line. That is why its so broken. Sorry for not working properly.
@caveman54 Its probably bad coding. I heavent really done camera movement.
This was the first time i made a 2d game. And this was the first time we made pixelart
Sorry everyone i turned off a collider and you couldn't get to the 2nd key. Im fixing it right now.
@skettynmeebs Im fixing the bug i had by one missclick.
The bug is fixed you now can go on the 2nd key. Just download it again please. @ytaha @trash @rpgfaker @caveman54 @dancinoman @skettynmeebs
@jcroisant Than you must know the ending.
@anfaas1618 Thanks but some critisism would always help :)
@anfaas1618 Ok thaks you. Im conna check out you game too.
@wegpast Its was only cause i wanted the player to search. But i fuckd it up. Sorry!
@wegpast You have one of the best games i played on the ld so you have something to be proud of too. Even prouder :D
@hakansoyozen Thanks!
@mozitux Thanks!
@vlad-ilisan Thanks!
@jeunegen Thanks for your review. When i remake some stuff. Your comment will be in consideration. Im gonna change stuff based on it too.
Hey guys i fixed a little bug with one click. You can consider beating it if you didnt!
@vodish Thanks for you review. Its important that i get citisism.
To anyone who got a big bug at the start. Please redownload it.
@zombie-virals Thanks!
Nice tutorial level!
How did you make this under 72hrs???
Nice thing that you have builds for so many platforms!
I like the idea of the candle lighing up its own way!
Private
The art looks good!
As simple as the game is its fun and i love the probuilder prototype texture everywhere!
The mood was very very good and set by the music.
Cool game. But the controls are a bit hard to get used to.
Very cool mechanic. And sometimes figuring out what is the distance I can jump was very fun.
Nice funny graphics and good music!
This is just like alchemy! Cool game!
Cool game. All the options are true :D
@jasond Thanks for the review!
@redhermit Thanks!
@rhiannon Thanks for playing it! Im fixing a game breaking but now as you mentioned it.
@vjmunhoz @rhiannon Thanks for playing it! I've just fixed a game breaking bug. Maybe that could help to get a bigger score on the learder board! :smiley:
@garys We tried to add some props to make it feel a bit better but we didn't really have time. The plants can usually grow with a 50% chance and they have 50% chance to grow 2 times between days. The bandits spawn with more chance as you survive for more days.
@darkmax14 Anyway thanks for playing it!
@garys Thanks for reporting the bug. Im gonna look into it.
@kultisti Thanks for playing it!
@garys The bug is fixed
@nico-fallosch Thanks for playing!
@nayaki-anandan This was the first jam of the artist and he is not use to making art like this. But thanks for playing anyway and for the honest review.
@nexusviper The enemies spawn more and more and they have more health. And you have to collect more. But yeah after 1-2 times it gets boring. Thanks for the review!
@qst0 Nice! Finally someone who tried to survive :smile:
@lurkinmcclerkin Thanks a lot!
@frank-gevaerts Thanks a lot for playing!
@jonas-tyroller Thanks for playing! And the spirtes were all hand drawn.
@deathstorm Sorry for the late response. Thanks for playing and I'm glad you liked the vaccum sounds! :smile:
The music is very good!
Its actually a pretty fun little game. Going faster seems op at first but then it makes you inaccurate. Nice!
When i didn't have enough blood the text said "New Text". But pretty cool how you use blood as currency.
Nice music and very good graphics. The traps and animations look very good with that lighting.
Cool graphics and very good mood.
Cool! Is there a limit?
I enjoyed the movement and shooting a lot!
The art looks very good! But whenever I press "Head Out" the game freezes for a couple seconds.
I liked the ugly-af graphics and the very nice music! Good job Phil!
@$162477 Thanks for pointing that out. It should be all fixed now.
@zliebowitz @givit-game-studios @benjamin123 If everything goes black, its not a bug you’ve just ran out of power. You can look at your inventory with tab and see if you have any batteries, if you do you can just press ‘R’ in-out of inventory. Also if you run out of power and batteries you can press escape and go back to the last checkpoint.
@kanonix We knew it was already taken but it does represent the game and we couldn't come up with anything better in the last hour. We thought it was ok as its not a commercial release.
Thanks for playing it tho!
@mimusangel Thanks a lot for playing it! We might work on it in the future but is not 100%. As we want to come up with an idea over a longer period of time, don't have messy code and art could also take a bit longer. But we may just make it a bit longer and release as a small free indie game.
@dazedhead @bredera @graphicedit Thanks a lot for playing the game!
@tory I agree, I spent too much time implementing stuff that didn't make much sense. There is no proper tutorial and we're just hoping that the player would find his way around.
@saering There is something you can do. If you press escape as the description of the game says, you can reload the last checkpoint with 4 batteries. Also you can reload the flashlight with 'R'.
@smackmet Thanks for finishing the game, only a few people do so. They exit really fast and just rate.
@saering As I said in an earlier comment. "I spent too much time implementing stuff that didn’t make much sense. There is no proper tutorial and we’re just hoping that the player would find his way around."
@karanveer It does not have jumpscares. @yaroslav-kravtsov I agree, I used the wrong color, I was just doing stuff so fast right after one-another I didn't even think of it. But the background is a dark red, it might just be my monitor but I can see a clear difference. @guttykreum Thanks a lot for playing it!
@shinmera @drums @el-fideo-rubio Thanks a lot for playing it!
@commanderstitch Thank you so much for playing it!
I love how the sounds were put together. I also like some of the graphics and the interactions.
Pretty nice small game, you should rate other peoples games if you want them you play yours, right now its almost impossible to find your game.
Love it, so straight forward and the music also works well!
Gonna try and give you your last rating to have your stats. Annotation 2020-05-05 215501.png Its pretty nice and short, I managed to finish it the first time very quickly and then tried again and realized I just got lucky or something. Overall small nice little game, the sprites could've probably looked better without anti aliasing
I really like the art!
@claybro2021 @synoxgames @beanslasher Thanks a lot for playing it and I'm glad you got the hang of it. @commanderstitch Yes I could've probably said something more about interaction, the tutorial text was added as a last thing so that player still has a way to maybe find out how to play the game.
@pathus22 @rakowu @eryph @sami Thanks a lot for playing, the HUD was messy, I wasn't sure what the right way would've been to do it and it also didn't get enough attention. The point they had was to somehow tell the player that it has to cook fish and purify water.
@ryannielson If you hold down alt you can see extra info, so the water must've been boiling and the fish was not cooked. You need fire for that to happen. Thanks a lot for your feedback and checking out the game. @r3d3r Thanks for playing, I'm glad you got enjoyed it!
@bebadboi Thanks, the pro tip can stay, lets just have it as a feature :D @ion-programming Yes I forgot to mention that... The fish has to be cooked at your main fire.
@d1str4kt0r Thanks for playing! The sounds didn't get enough attention probably. I hope I will do better next time.
@bajtix Thanks for playing!
@prodigalson Pressing a button to interact would need extra time only focused to that and also when there is 3 items in your radius you don't want to keep picking up the same or anything like that. But thanks for playing, I did see that some people had problem with this, I'm definitely learning from it.
@oldetobeh Thanks for playing!
@noamraz I am surprised you could handle playing all of those games... Thanks for playing our's!
@ausstein oof, on the ld page it has some more info, like cooking fish at your main fire and boiling water on the lake. Thanks for trying it though and for the honest feedback not many people give.
@ausstein That was the first thing I planned and the last thing I could do. There was literally no time. Annotation 2020-05-08 025301.png That is where I mention that. The tutorial text was added last 10 minutes... I don't think anyone actually finished it yet so no-one found my typo. Also there is a purpose to why you can only cook it at your main fire from gameplay aspect and logic, you have those sticks there so you can put the fish onto them and cook it, and the pot wouldn't fit on it so you have the other fire that can hold the pot.
@deathstorm Thanks! Thanks for rating before the end. Let me help you also now that its the last 30 minutes with my rating.
The link doesn't work
My pet rock was really hungry...
I like the graphics and the game plays pretty nice
I love the idea of a shotgun chainsaw
I was pretty confused at first but I got the hang of it, pretty fun!
This game is soo good and soo long, I love it! I love everything about it! Although after having 3 repeaters it was quite easy
I really like the sound design and graphics of it. It sets the mood really well for the game. I also like how the player can interact with almost anything around it.
I love how its incorporated into the website and how the its displayed on the screen as well as the buttons actually being animated randomly. Sometimes it felt like I was typing something off screen already instead of something on it still or I couldn't type out the last latter of a word for some reason. I like it pretty nice small game!
I really like the dynamite sound effects echoing trough the mine, I also like how well the building system was done for the rails. Good job!
Love the humor, all the details and the art!
I loved it, I don't know why but still loud = funny to me in this case.
Pretty fun, the way that I charge at enemies is really cool!
Pretty nice small game, I like how simple and hard it is at the same time.
@boaz Thanks for playing the game and for the good feedback! @bellringerquinn The jumps are not the best, the player could've done with a bit higher jumps, I agree @wujood The physics are pretty weird, its pretty weird working with gravity like this either way there is probably many things I could've done better.
@redhermit Thanks for the kind words and all the great criticism. When working on a game you get so used to everything that you don't even notice things like motion sickness, but its also a pain to work with a world like this even editing the world had me rotation the entire world to I could see it normally and not upside down. @nikolaj Thanks for playing! I though of the clouds not requiring that but it had to do more with time limits.
@denzil-gomes I'm new to making platformer games so I really missed eith that, its floaty and the jumps are hard. Some people get the hang of it but for other it might be too hard and annoying. Thanks for playing and for your feedback! @fabula-rasa I'm glad you liked it, the boss was quite rushed so I forgot to add stuff like that. I tought the sound effect of hitting it would be enough but clearly it isn't. I know the quit button generates an error but I just left it there because I find it funny to try to leave a webgl game like that.
@roboshamit Yes nausea is a factor I'm not too good with, even in vr I never really got motion sick even when fps wasn't the best.
@flazone I'm not good with platformers, never made one and never never really played them. I'm surely gonna learn from this!
@m0dsat The boss really wasn't the best part of the game, I rushed it and I didn't think of any visual feedback.
@raffe Thanks a lot for playing, the movement was pretty bad I have to agree, some platforms were too high and the player didn't get stuck to the clouds.
@instrex I'm glad you enjoyed some parts, the start on the big loop was really dragged out with only a few clouds and nothing else...
@fpoli Ohh in that case I should've had both a,d arrows and controller support because it would've been pretty easy to add. I really got out of the arrows era and didn't even think anyone would use them. Another good thing to note here!
Thanks for playing everyone and for your feedback!
I like the art and the story is pretty nice, interacting with everything is also pretty nice.
Very nice game, I liked finding the secret words!
Quite fun but the levels were getting really hard for me. I think the controls were a bit slidy ending up killing myself in some placer where I didn't mean to and the flat bottom of spikes still killed me which was pretty confusing. Overall its not a bad entry, congrats on finishing a game!
I'm amazed at the amount of content and I had a lot of fun, first game I actually really enjoyed
Pretty fun little game, I love the idea of cheap drifting like this. The controls are janky but that is what makes it challenging and fun. Nice!
I like the graphics and I like seeing how one of me throws a bomb to the other just for the other to throw it to me. It a pretty fun game!
I really like this game, its really smooth and I love the soundeffects also, sometimes quite funny. The tv reference I also like a lot!
I really love the art style and sounds, its confusing at times but I like to calculate the ticket prices also, Nice game!
Cute little game, like how smooth it all works/looks
I really like the simple art style and the particles in the freezer although after some time I just started going deep into the freezer and found the end :)
Pretty nice little game, like the metal snake
I like the dubstep music :)
Nice game, really liked how the bone bounced and returned
The tool tips were a bit too small for me. But other than that, nice little game!
Damn, I really really like this game! Seems really polished any nice. With all the dialog and introduction to the game, option to skip text and all. The only thing bothering me was the inverted mouse. Good job!
Really loved this game, the specific cactus comment and all was really nice!
I really like the simple sound effects and mood
Its a really fun game! But also quite challenging after some time. At first I was just always ahead of the game just placing blocks but then it turned on me and I ran out of place to place them. I also like how simple it is!
Amazing graphics! The game also feels really nice and I like the sound effects too
I really like the effect on the screen, looks really good when going to the next level
I really like how this as a whole is. The music/art/story really play together well
It was quite confusing at first but then I had fun building my sub!
I really like the mood and lighting as a whole
I really enjoyed this game. Although level 3 was a bit scary at first. Also the abilities you gain are pretty nice
It was really nice speedrunning debt
I did the impossible. I got the source code and opened it in unity and I did manage to run it after getting the references for the volume sliders. The beginning was a bit long for me and the ending bugged but I quite liked the art!
Didn't expect a game like this, I really like how the simple sounds effects play together. Also it just feels like I'm playing a board game, really nice little game!
I really love the simple art and I like the sounds/music as well
@brianpow @kel @pickyburrito49 @teenythanos @cryptomnesic @jarmustard @jeremy-scott-olsen I'm really glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the review and for leaving a comment! @eonarheim Nice strats, one thing you might've missed was that you can also use numbers to switch weapons
@rhoff95 I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@azakharov I'm glad you enjoyed it although I'm not sure what you meant by the last part of your comment
@yngvarr Damn, thanks for the review. Will be watching your gameplay as I am pretty interested in seeing how other would play it.
I really like the presentation of this game, the small scientists compared to the player
This looks amazing! I really love how it looks/feels and sounds. Nice game!
Fun little game
I really love how polished it is! Amazing little game!
I was a bit confused at first but I figured out what I was supposed to do. Pretty simple I'm thinking with an infinite map. The only only thing that would've helped out would be shooting always in the direction of my clicks
I really loved the sound of wind and just going at it. The minimap was also a really cool addition and it just got more fun as I upgraded my machine. Although I almost thought I couldn't make it to the end because of how I dug
I really like the art on this one. Although I was quite confused. The sound effects worked out quite nicely although the music seemed to have made my headset act weird. I was pretty lost at first and seems like a pretty complicated game but that being said, you do have a guide
I love the mood on this game
Looking pretty nice but the controls where pretty hard to use sometimes
I quite like how simple it is, the music and all. The hammer is pretty satisfying to use as well
I really like the intro!
Pretty cute game. Loved the intro!
I really like the art and how it all plays together. The music getting quieter as you go lower
I was a but confused at first but then I found out how I was supposed to play. Nice little game, I like the sounds
Damn, didn't expect this to be this fun
Nice little platformer!
I really love how simple the entire game is. The graphics are really nice and they work well although I would've went further if there was more to it
Interesting concept. I liked the parallax effect
Funny little game. Love the voice lines
Calming/Cute little game. Really enjoy the mood
I really like how this looks and how simple it is
Nice little game, although the music seemed to be acting up for me causing some popping.
It was pretty fun although the camera started glitching at some points. I really liked how the 2d and 3d worked together. Also nice ending!
Never really seen games posted in this way and I was quite confused at what I was supposed to to but pretty nice little game
I love how simple the execution and the idea was also incorporating the theme, although the music was a bit loud
Pretty nice little game although it was pretty dark at times
Damn, this is really good. Love the music, the controls, the interactions. It's really well done. And I really liked the thicc guy looking around
I'm not sure what's going on, but I didn't manage to get a download going
Wow, what an interesting way to make a game. It's quite impressive what you got there. Sometimes the dual window setup with the emulator was a bit weird but I guess there wasn't any other way around it. Overall nice game! It's really smooth and I like the audio as well
I had quite a bit of fun playing this game. At times it was a bit too dark imo. But it's definitely a cool game with some cool graphics
The graphics are quite good. Really liked the wood bridges falling
Wow, nice game. I really enjoy the sound effects! The graphics are also very well done but simple
Well' there's a bit of a learning curve. It's an impressive game for this small amount of time! I like the graphics and feedback.
An actually fun game, although I figured out my little speedrunning strategy where I'd go by all the level 0 enemies. Really nice entry for 72 hours!
Even though I failed at the last 225 meters, it was quite fun. You also have some nice graphics there!
@icedjam @cakts @devundead @potkirland @lcstark @driagonv @jan5366x @heremeus @elbowgeese @ollieoa @3mpty Thanks a lot for playing! This time the game was a bit more about the mood instead of gameplay which made it a bit empty, but I hope you still had a good time playing!
@chesschaser I'm not sure what you mean by the player getting pushed forward. It's probably when gravity went away at which point you have to jump off the walls to move around
@mausimus @shores @cynthia-clementine @infantgrandpa @commanderstitch @melektaus Thanks for playing! And I hope you actually enjoyed your time on the space ship
@mordrick I would've loved to have some more of that as well, a lot of time was spent on the actual tiles and we just sort of ran out of time
@future-labs-unlimited I'm glad you asked, the story should've also included that the Mint escaped from another planet with a prototype ship, trying to find a new home but I never got to actually include all that information. English is also not my native language so I would rather have someone else write the story in way that might make more sense
@pixelydian I would've loved to add some minigames, but we didn't really plan for it and didn't have the extra time to come up with any and implement them.
@leorid Damn, that must've felt good as the game pretty much gives no feedback when a door is not supposed to open
@rufson Love what you did there :alien:
@tom-stephenson I was very surprised how well the background worked with only 2 layers. I actually did that with shadergraph and had no idea what it would actually turn out as
@timo-strating I'm pretty sure the gravity broke. Meaning you couldn't normally walk around. There you have to click to push yourself off the walls
@tripletconcept Thanks for playing! Glad you like the portraits, its really stylized so most people would probably say against it
@lucavazz I hope you had some fun
@tattomoosa I made it so people could push off walls sometimes where there weren't any so they get stuck harder and find out what's going on easier. The story is quite rough though which is a bit of a down side of this game. Also I was going to play everyone's game who comments on ours anyway
I was a bit confused on what I had to do and I found that there wasn't really any feedback to a gun getting hot. Still a nice entry and I enjoyed the banana gun!
Nice little game. Very simple but at least things don't break. Complicated is not always the best or the most fun I guess
Man this game is hard. (Or maybe I'm just stupid) It's quite fun with all the fluid animations and I really like the effect on how the vases break
The controls were a bit weird and at first I wasn't even sure if I was moving. The minimap was a nice addition to the game as I could actually know where I was supposed to go.
Resetting was a bit annoying as the start is quite slow but as my gun got upgraded it was quite a bit more fun!
This is really well done and fun compared to all the basic stacking games. Even more impressive that you did all this alone!
You got some nice voice acting and also I like the mechanics!
I had a bit of a problem with some audio popping but other than that, it's a pretty cool game. Also I love frog lofi
This is really impressive, the visuals are really cool, not to mention the voice lines. They really well done, I guess that is what professionals mean. The only problem I had is, I had a hard time reading all the text as the there was no outline on them or not a lot of contrast
I like the character the main character has but damn is this an unstable power plant
Took me 10 days to entirely destroy the island. And I'm proud of it
This is amazing! Reminds me of limbo. Very well done for a jam, doing it alone.
Screenshot 2021-10-07 163822.png
At first I didn't think I was going to enjoy this game as much as I did. Nice game!
This game is amazing. All the graphics and everything is just really really cool.
Pretty nice little game, although I did manage to somehow break the game and fail without the end screen showing up. The platforms seem to spawn a bit too random, sometimes making me fail with no other choice.
Wow, this was a really polished game. I went for a month but my pigs sadly went extinct. I really enjoyed my time playing. Good Job!
I really like the concept for the main mechanic. I think it's a pretty cool game. Nice job for a first ludum dare!
I really like the graphics and all that, but I'm not sure what I should rate it based on you using assets, since I enjoyed the graphics and the sounds mostly. The mood and everything is really really well done, the level design as well is pretty good. I guess I'm sort of overlooking all the work that went into lighting and properly using the assets given
@melektaus No, I definitely understand that, and towards the end of my review I sort of realized that. I'm sorry if it came off the bad way. I totally understand if it was still just as much work as any other game. It's still a really well made game and everyone flows together really well
Oof Screenshot 2021-10-07 153151.png
That being said, I think its actually very well done. It's really fun to find everything and it actually feels like old windows
I somehow managed to mess up the order of the tasks but overall a fun game! Really enjoyed the calming music and actually finding stuff. Although my cursor was not locked the whole time so sometimes it was a bit annoying. Although that might just be webgl doing weird things
I was quite confused at first but I ended up figuring out how things work from the comments. It's a quite nice idea although I'm not sure about the theme part.
This was an experience. It's quite cool how it works. Really like the idea of the laser gun but the restarting is a bit harsh
What a fun little game. I Really enjoyed switching between the modes and trying to get all the collectibles! Also how the game sped up was nice
It's nice for a first game on a compo. The main mechanic took some time for me to figure out but, that was also just me being dumb probably
Looks like I'm an amateur photographer, I mean no wonder with that tripod and hiccups
It's alright for a first game jam game. Good job on finishing it, as that is usually the hardest part. Keep it up!
Ugh, I think I broke it. It's a quite fun game. Reminds me of good old happy wheels. Screenshot 2021-10-06 174118.png
Its buggy but cool!
