**Super** satisfying gameplay but a couple of things were frustrating. Such as the hitboxes on some of the objects felt weird as if they anything besides the exact top was wrong.

Great art/animations, the gameplay was also really nice. I felt like fall-damage was a bit high/early. Didn't use the ground pound much because of that. The fire/acid coming from above was great and created some very close situations. The main menu was really innovative, i liked that :D
Would have loved a few more levels, but i understand that there wasn't time for that...

This is one of my favorite ld48 games so far. The jumping, movement, etc. feels really nice and fine-tuned. It took me a few attempts, but I managed to beat the game and had lots of fun in doing so. Good job!
Love it! The presentation is great and the character is really responsive. The menu is something a little different and works well. Gameplay is as smooth as --insert something super smooth-- and poses a real challenge. Just an all round strong jam entry!
I think the fall damage mechanic clashes heavily with the fun of just rushing downwards, however. It also seems a bit inconsistent or just too harsh at points, particularly in that last stretch.
I love the mood and atmosphere in this game as well as super smooth gameplay. Smashing those blue orbs was really satisfying.
The only thing I would suggest to do is probably to add some score system so the player is motivated to smash more enemies/orbs.
Very cool! I love the crisp art style. The character movement feels nice (has a lot of weight to it but in a positive way) Level 3 is insanely hard!

I really love the punchy colors, the outlines and bright flames and cinder particles combined with dark tones of the levels. Pacing is well done, introducing different mechanics and enemies at consumable rate. And gives a different feel to each circle of hell. Great atmosphere overall! Well done!
Got stuck at 6th or was it 7th circle? I'm not sure that one is beatable. My last attempt was a near perfect jumping sequence. I swear, that flame wall is cheating! xD But I'll be honest, I'm not that good at this kind of games.
Love, love, love the aesthetics of this game! From the sounds, to the camera shake, to the animations, it was so satisfying to play! The chase levels were a little intense, so I would maybe suggest to slow the first one down so it doesn't catch the player by surprise, but other than that, this is a brilliant game!

I love the theme and the jumb/pound just feels so satisfying! The visuals are really on spot as well.
I felt a little like dropping was punished a bit too harshly at times but other than that it was a very great experience! Congrats on the great submit! :)
Best game I've played so far! The controls and feedback is really satisfying, and the level design really facilitates the mechanics. I especially like the fire wall that continues to move down, which forces me to play better and faster. My only complaint may be that it might be too easy to get fall damage, but with a relatively generous starting health, it wasn't really a problem. Good job!
Really nice :) Very polished. Made it to the end with some deaths.. Mostly died cause to falling damage :D
Really nice and polished game. I loved the jumping sound effect a lot.. The level design was also good with puzzles and stress of running away from the fire hunting you was also good.

This game is one of the best games I have played yet, because of how fun and polished it is. I love the art style and reminds me of terraria. Also the music was done very well. I cant think of anything else to say because of how good it is. Altough I would like to give you feedback; so one thing I would say is to maybe add more obstacles because at times it felt like there wasnt enough challenge. Other than that, this is an amazing game! Well Done! 5/5
Really cool game, very fun ! Sometimes the fall damage doesn't seem fair (like I jump on an enemy and because of the jump I reached a height that causes fall damage) but I had a good game rushing through the level fleeing the flame from above
Your game is so fun to play, but I am not able to even pass the lust level. Anyway, a very great game and also fits the theme perfectly.
Very nice game. The third and sixed levels where quite hard. I also liked you created the main menu as part of your levels. The game also feels quite polished.
We've seems to have stumbled upon the same theme, Dante sure is the best source of inspiration for this here theme! Love the power'ups and the puzzle mechanics in some parts, at some part of the game I totally got punished for choosing the wrong shaft, but that's hell for ya! Love the different level transitions, and I can feel we've had a lot in common really! Great entry for the LD48! Cheerz!
Amazing game, punishing mechanics but rewarding as well. I got stuck in the last level and i became obssesed. Brilliant execution. And loved the main menu!

Very cool game ! And it is to be noted, the difficulty is really well balanced, it's quite easy at the start, and the difficulty ramps up at the right pace until the end, where the real challenges are. I think the fall damage mechanic is a bit broken at times, but it's not a problem as you have a lot of HPs. Graphics are really well made too :)
I love the pixel art and the font of the game. The middle part was difficult, the hell flame reach me so quickly. Great job on the game!

This was a fun platformer, just barely beat the last level! Being able to only do partial jumps would have been nice. Really great entry here!
A very enjoyable game, and I'm very impressed with what your team put together in such a short time! The audio is good, and the visuals are absolutely wonderful! The character design is charming and smoothly animated, the maps are aesthetic and well put together, and everything fits together very nicely!
The gameplay was also put together well! It was easy to figure out how to play and what you were doing/where you were supposed to go as you went through, which made for nice playing. The difficulty was a bit much for me when coming to circles six and seven with the speed of the fire when trying to get up over ledges. I was pretty close to tapping out at circle six around my 20th try, but the art style and gameplay was charming enough that I did decide to keep trying until I was actually able to complete it, so kudos for developing a game that's incentivizing to play even when the playing gets rough!
I think what caused most of the difficulty was the speed of the fire descending in the sixth circle particularly - even turning that down a bit I think would've ended up feeling better for the struggle with those two jumps around the double jump powerup.
The mechanics for jumping on orbs was very satisfying! It certainly did feel cool getting to jump on them and on the enemies, but the bounce back from hitting them was a little rough in cohesion with the fall damage.
Overall, an incredibly strong and fun foundation for a game, and with a couple small feature adjustments, I'd love to see it extended out into a longer game! Great work, team! ☆☆☆☆☆
I take pleasure to play with your game. The controls are really playable and after few try, I feel confortable with controls and physics.
They are some some level which are well design. The old-school graphism are just perfect. Just one advice for improvement: The level design could be better. I know it's hard to create challenging and interesting levels in a few time. But I had succed some levels just by dodge ennemis and sacrify just enough lifes. So I finish the game quickly. But even that, I take pleasure and my advice is just about a small ajustment. It's still a good game for me :)
I love the graphics of this game. Animations, effects were pretty good. Music is giving the same vibe as the game, so it's great. It was pretty fun, I would like to see more levels. Level design was also pretty good in my opinion.
My only complaint about this game is that it felt a bit strange to control the ground pound feature with right mouse button. Instead of mouse input, that could be any other key on the keyboard.
Satisfying controls! Pleasant transition animations. Cool stylish pixel graphics. Catchy sound and visual effects.
Some remarks: 1. Character's wings felt useless at the beginning: character can jump only once and takes damage falling down. Jump in air after falling and double jump were discovered unexpectedly some time after playing. Expectation: tutorial/story contains information about usage/future upgrades of character's wings. 2. Character safely fall down at the beginning of levels but takes damage falling from pretty low height on the levels. Expectation: something shows prevention of damage at the beginning of levels, e.g. orbs.

Nice graphics and audio, very atmospheric. The controls were responsive and smooth. Having the ground pound on right mouse is awkward as I play with both hands on the keyboard. In case you didn't know, a game controller works but sadly only left/right and jump seems to be mapped.
Gratz on a very enjoyable entry.
