Wow, this game have some cake value
This has potential!
a "bipolarPolarBear" is the best thing to come out of this jam. Clever interpretation of the theme, and the gameplay was simple enough to give a few tries until I got my
cake cake !!!
Fatal error, I was not able to run the game :(

Good old retro in Java, plus zombies. Like
I want to play it ,but:

The .exe for Windows does not work (EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION), but the JAR works so I could play ! Well, nice sound effects! 😄 And the gameplay is simple but enjoyable, with a little frustration due to the speed change (yeah I should have read your warning before playing about the timer), I didn't even knew you could growl at the enemies, I was just running at them . Good job!
I was only able to play with the .jar file. The game is very fun to play. Good work!
i dont play the game but grafics cool
retro style
I'm not sure what's going on, but I didn't manage to get a download going
The sound effects made me laugh :D what is with that bear and the enemies. The art style fit the overall humor very well. This reminded me of 'Only One' the mobile game, which I played a lot back in the day!
I had fun playing with this, great job!
I also want to eat cake now.
My LD rating period is starting to feel like catching up with some friends. I'm glad I stopped by your game page to play another one of your crazy experiments :D It was really fun to figure out the game rules, and each time I died I just wanted to try something different. I started surviving much longer once I understood the game is easier when you just hit the control keys instead of keeping them pressed.
Great game ;-) It reminded me how I enjoyed your safari-themed game as well.
FYI I had to play with the jar file as well.
Wow, so much going on here. For people having problems with the download, i had a couple browsers eat the download when i was at other places. Fixed it by right clicking the download and opening the file in a private browser or incognito mode. The jar should work with the latest install of java. I have gotten mixed results with the exe launcher. Sorry about the deployment mess, it's the first time i've done it! Thanks for playing, those that could!
Aaah, pure chaos, so much fun - that's the true commanderstitch's game! :D Luring zombies off the building were so much fun, I've even forgot I could shoot them. X_X Nice take on a theme. SFX are simply hilarious!
Here you can see me struggling to understand what I'm doing: https://youtu.be/7nVaGztd32Q
Yesssssss I gots the cake. (Once I figured out my growls could deplete and stopped randomly growling the empty void.) This was hilarious. I also had trouble with the executable, thanks @srynetix for the jar tip.
@yngvarr amazing!! that's so cool. Very interesting seeing how things trigger and let you know what is going on and what to do. @epb9000 glad you could get it working! :-)
This was very different from what I played so far and was very fun to play. (Using the jar, because like others I couldn't get the exe to work.) I like how there are multiple ways to get rid of the enemies but it still feels frantic
This game feels very fresh and unusual, definitely has some retro feel to it. And it's quite additictive.
No web no play.
I like the retro level design
I really wanted to play it, since games that deal with mental disorders are my favorite (my previous 2 LDJam games are about mental disorders too), but unfortunately neither the jar nor the exe worked for me (I have Java installed).
The exe returns: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
