Improbability Fighter by Wendel Scardua 2021-10-08T04:09:47Z

Quite a cool submission!

I'm reading that you are able to play it on famicom, which is a really awesome addition to the event!

Overall pretty simple but enjoyable gameplay, definitely took me back :)

There were moments when there was alot of projectiles on the screen where it lagged out quite alot, but other than that it ran smooth.

I enjoyed the glitchy effect transitioning from different modes!

Overall I enjoyed it, nice work!

CalmR - Rock Skipping Mindfulness by Eli Delventhal 2021-10-06T06:18:29Z

Hey, this is a pretty interesting submission!

Definitely a unique concept haha it had me chuckling :)

I don't have a VR set, so the rock throwing probably wasn't as satisfying as it could have been, but I still enjoyed figuring out the mechanics.

One bug (?), I dragged a rock underneath myself, and it pushed me off the platform and I fell into the lava, and the void.

Again, cool submission, the voice of Sira was well done and the other SFX were very clean and nice to listen to.

Nice work!

Unbalanced Brawl by yopox 2021-10-06T05:56:19Z

This was a really cool autobattler! Overall I really liked the card art, the music was catchy and non-intrusive, and the builds you could do were interesting.

I lost my first game because I mixed fungus with spiders, and the AI eventually just had a humongous fungus (heh) and I couldn't win.

2nd round I did a spider build and it felt satisfying to win with it!

Some issues though - - The egg unit would not spawn low level spiders upon death. I wasn't sure if it was because I had a full board or not, so I went into a round with an open slot and it still didn't trigger. (I just now read that multiplication ability does not trigger in your changelog, so ignore this part!)

- Once the boards got large, the fights took quite a long time.

- I'm not sure it fits the theme entirely, I could justify unstable as in the shop itself was unstable but I never felt like the instability of the shop affected me much.

- Upon running the game for the first time, the music was ear-bleedingly distorted for some reason. It fixed itself after a few moments but something to think about I guess

Other than that, as an experience and as a fan of autochess games, I think this is a really cool submission and I'd be willing to play a full version of this if you chose to take it further.

Nice work!

Bunker Maze by Majadroid 2021-10-08T06:56:16Z

Hi, cool entry here! There were some fun puzzles and it definitely felt like the game was engineered well!

I really liked the gunshot sounds and the voiceline for jumping! I realized at the end though that the music was so subtle and nondescript, that it ended up being unmemorable, although that's less of an issue than I've seen with some LD games where the music can be very intrusive, so no biggie here!

Also, like others, ran into the issue of simply bypassing alot of what looked to be actual puzzles later on in the levels by just brute forcing myself through or up around them.

Graphics were nice and discreet though, and the animation for the player character was quite well done!

Thank you for your submission, it was definitely fun!

Unstable government by DmitryGalias 2021-10-08T07:27:11Z

Graphics were great! I finished it in one go, definitely a cool submission.

My only real complaint is the music was very.. repetitive and not very good to listen to in general. Overall I really enjoyed it though :)

Unable to Be Unstable by MadR 2021-10-08T06:39:04Z

Hi, this was a fun entry!

I think fun was my highest score, it was definitely enjoyable to figure it out!

As others mentioned, the collisions were a bit off - at times where I thought I could walk in front of something, I was unable to because my head was a collision box!

I also thought the music, while quite catchy and good, didn't fit the atmosphere well. Had some great sound effects though!

Thank you for the submission, good work :)

Destructo by JPGFG 2021-10-08T03:45:40Z

Hey this was a pretty cool submission!

I think the tactics parts worked quite well and was surprised that you were able to effectively code one for a game jam, very nice work!

Art was quite nice, but the music was kindof intrusive on the experience. Sound effects as well were very abrupt and sharp compared to the music.

As far as balance goes, I went to save up for the move speed increase, but as soon as I had enough crystals, the price increased :( and by then I had to fight the next level of creatures, and they washed me fast!

2nd run went better haha.

Anyways, great entry, as others said maybe some keybinds would be great, but other than that I thought the idea was cool and I'd like to see more!

Hamster Powered Elevator Shaft by SilverBRanch 2021-10-06T06:07:17Z

Hello! This was a pretty cool entry!

It reminded me of those anime scenes where the protag is jumping back and forth between falling rubble haha. Overall I had some fun!

Couple things - - I felt like the time powerup kindof hindered me more than helped, there were times where I picked it up and jumped to the highest bar, but another rubble piece didn't spawn fast enough and I just fell all the way down with nothing else to jump to. - I didn't realize I could stick to the rubble for a little while, maybe a little bit more explanation at the start would help!

Sound FX were cool, song was pretty catchy and non-intrusive too! Graphics were clean!

Thanks for your submission!

Temple Tumble by MatterLinx 2021-10-08T03:34:54Z

Holy crap! This has some great UX, shooting felt good, dodging felt good, and it all looked.. good!

Music was decent but it started to get repetitive fast, but that's ok.

Great entry sheesh!

Delusion by Elazulus 2021-10-08T03:36:39Z

Sanity meter was planned to have extra effects, but for now it just makes the screen darker and will teleport you around if it gets low enough.

Thank you for your feedback everyone! We really appreciate it <3

SNOOZLE! by wedgiebee 2021-10-06T06:36:23Z

Woah!

What a fun little puzzle game! How calming :)

After the tutorial levels, it really got fun! My one issue is the star grabbing portions were maybe the least engaging part and just felt somewhat tedious at some point, especially since the stars were kinda small. All the other puzzles were fun to figure out!

Only other thing is I'm not entirely sure how it fits the theme.. but I'm sure there's something I missed.

Great game, nice work here :)

Radish Kid Ascension by CozyGamePals 2021-10-08T08:49:35Z

I don't have much to say that others haven't said, great entry holy cow! Thank you for the submission, I had a blast playing it :)
