I like the controls and the balance of your game. Also, you hit the theme well. Due to the missing sound it feels a bit empty. But overall, good work.

I like the controls and the balance of your game. Also, you hit the theme well. Due to the missing sound it feels a bit empty. But overall, good work.
Not outstanding gameplay, but at least "outstanding" graphics ;-)
.... the game is also okay, the audio too. I have the same problems as the other players, you have to guess where the enemies are.
Nice action shooter, but it's really tough.
I like the mood, the grafics and the music are matching well. But the player is moving way to slow. This makes it a little bit boring. And the main problem: The player is to slow to get past room three. Or I am to stupid. Not going past room three, I cannot so how the game matches the LD theme.
The art is nice, but the controls are not. Maybe it should be possible to move the main character by keyboard. I also had the feeling, that my lager units do not have more attack or health points, than my smaller ones.
I only understood the concept when I read the comments here. But after that it was very cool. Great idea, great interpretation of the topic. Graphics, sound, all very well done!
Cool relaxing game. I stuck once, because I did not have the key yet but dragged the exit behind me into a dead end.
Nice game, I liked the graphics. Overall a very polished entry. The fighting system could have some improvements, but it's not that bad.
Very polished entry, I liked playing it.
Sadly the game doesn't run on my system (Win7). The programm starts and stucks with a light blue screen :(
@simon-rahnasto It is the windows version with the executable.
Error.png
@simon-rahnasto Thanks for your support. Yes, by copying the invisible, I found this error message:
boot.lua:440: Cannot link shader program object: Fragment shader(s) failed to link, vertex shader(s) failed to link. unexpected error. unexpected error.
So it seems it won't work on my PC :(
Cool game. I like the sound+music. The controls and combos give an awesome feeling. But the single player A.I. is to hard to beat. It's a bit annoying, that it can jump back to ring after falling appart.
I like the mood and the graphics of your game. And you implemented the theme good as well. But it's a bit annoying when I stuck on to many dead bodies in the water.
Well done. The atmosphere is nice, I also like the graphics and the smooth controls. But it was way to easy. I just walked trough without a single shot.
Great game, great music!
This was cute.
It seems very unfinished and unbalanced. Sound would realy increase the game feeling. And it has not much to do with the theme.
@rewzu You are right. So I adepted my rating. Sorry.
A really great game. Graphics, sound and gameplay look very polished. It's just fun!
The graphics are cool, but unfortunately the game is not playable. You can walk around and attack, but enemies don't die. Or just sometimes. The healthbar doesn't work either, and sometimes you don't die at all. Maybe it's too big a project for a GameJam.
I loved the game. The mood is fantastic. Great job!
Nice game, well made. Its realy fun to play and a nice ingterpretation of the theme. The only thing I realy wish is a little feedback, if a hit an enemy or if i don't.
Realy good game, I love the combat system, the sound and how you used the theme. I realy enjoyd playing.
The pixel art is fantastic. But the game is to hard.
Interesting and fun idea, good mood, nice graphics. Also the game mechanics and the minigames are well made. Although it could be a little bit harder, it felt a little bit to easy to play.
The idea and the gameplay are realy nice. Althoug graphics and sound macht well together. It would be nice to play more real levels.
Nice little game. Good job. I find the music a bit annoying.
Funny idea for a straight forward gameplay.
Great work! The controls feel good, the optical representation of the health is a cool idea. Some music would round up the whole experience.
I could only test this as singleplayer, and as you mentioned, this makes not much sence. At most, I liked the music. The controls are to indirect and the walljump is realy weird. Are the levels randomly generated?
Grphics and sounds are good and the idea of shooting your crew into space is funny. But playing the game is not so funny. Loosing more and more the control is a bit frustrating. But good work anyway!
Innovative idea, I like joining and deparating the character. This has a lot of potential. It would be cool to play more - sadly rthis game is very short.
Oh ... my game was in DRAFT mode on itch.io -> I fixed this, now the link should work.
@duke You are right. The fighting system is very basic. But with the aspect in mind, that you may always take damage, there is the incentive to bypass the opponents. But if I contiunue the work on this project, I will improve the fightig system.
@belle Thanks a lot.
@sun-wukong I know. I wanted to fix this, so that you can close the dialog also by keyboard, but the first attempt broke the whole dialog system and there was no time for a second attempt :-(
@fiiction, @duke, @paulhocker, @listonos, @kaiomoi, @no-grapes-games, @scottyseus In the post jam version I worked a bit on the fighting system. Enemies have to "charge" their attacks (there is a visual feedback). So now you have the chance to attack without being hit.
@edevjogos, @sun-wukong In the post jam version I improved the dialog and item system. It is now controlable by keyboard and it will close if the player moves on.
Wow, so far this is the jam game, I spend most time with. I liked discovering different strategies. The only thing I didn't like was the amount of clicking, specially while selling the memories.
Nice straight forward game with good feeling. Maybe a bit to difficult.
I only get this error: "Your video card driver does not support any of the supported OpenGL versions." I had no problems with other games so far.
I love you pixelart, very nice. The game is very simple, but also very polished. It's a pleasant alternative to all these unfinished projects. My only criticism is that the game is too easy.
Good job, I really liked playing the game. It's worth keep on working in it!
Nice puzzle mechanis with much potetial. I liked playing it and I also would like to play some more levels (with some calm music ^^).
Great job. Interesting puzzle mechanism, very satisfying music.
I realy good intepretation of the theme. The idea for the "background music" is brilliant. What I don't like: the controls. Its to slippery to make fun.
Feels very polished, was fun to play. Nice game. What I missed is to make some progress. After a few minutes, there is nothing new to discover and it is very easy to stay alive. But anyway, very good game.
Very nice game, cool music, everything feels very polished. Only critic point: It is to easy. But anyway, one of the best games in LD45 I have seen so far.
Nice game with good graphics. Maybe a bit to difficult for me ;-)
Unique artwork, fantastic.
Nice game. Graphic and music matching well and creating a cool mood. I like it. Was fun to play and feels very polished.
Nice relaxing game. The game would be worth to invest a little more time and create more endings / elements and so on.
What a great game. I love it. Not only the lovely graphics, the calm music und the simple but effective game mechanics. I also like you game's theme. Protecting nature is also the theme of my own LD 45 game.
The music is just awesome, and so is your whole game. Very nice and unique gameplay. Realy fun to play. I am waiting for more levels!
Very innovative gameplay. Thumbs up! I like the mood of the game. I think it comes from the great athmospheric audio background.
@hadik @bip @daria-toni @nikolay-zapolnov @johnsmith @donut-daria For me, it actually is balanced. It is intended to be hard, but it is possible to survive and even to destroy the cities. Try expanding with trees of life and immidatedly protecting them with up to three spike trees and one hard wood tree, as grass spreads out. With this in mind, it is possible to wind the game.
@importantcreations @demuss @simon-parzer It seems you found a good strategy to survive. Maybe you are in the mood to try out the post-LD-version. There has not much changed, but now there is a heavier enemy later in the game and more important: It is now possible to destroy the enemy cities and win the game.
You completely ignored the theme, didn't you? But anyway: Nice little shooter.
Nice puzle mechanism, pretty pixel art high quality music. Well done!
Cool concept.
Nice little game with pretty pixel art.
I realy like the pixel art of your game. Beggars life seems to be hard - and so is the game. Its hard to survive. Together with the music, that causes kind of a sad feeling. If that was your intention: Good work. ;-)
By the way: It is also a good interpretation of the theme.
Feels good to play, looks nice and sounds good. Well done!
The adio effect is simple but very cool. I also like the mechanics of avoiding or breaking through the obstacles. The game is a bit to difficult, but very cool. One of the few games I 'll keep on my computer.
Wow, what a great piece of art. Realy outstanding, fantastic mood, nice graphics, good theme interpretation. One of the best LD-46 games I played so far.
I love the castle animation and the grafic of your game in genaral. The music also fits very well and it was fun to play.
I like the game mechanic very much. I love these deck building games and yours is realy enjoyable. The graphics are simple, but they work. I didn't even miss the music (in most games without, it triggers me immedatedly).
I have played a lot of games in that jam, that had a deeper mood or nicer graphics. But yours was one of the best gaming experiences.
Good game, fun to play, hard to win.
Nice art and sound. But I also have problems with the movement. The bird is flying out of the screen most of the time and I have to restart the level. So I cannot realy play the game.
As lots of people mentioned before: Very nice entry, good graphics, good sound, well crafted, with just a few minor downsides, like the ladders.
Cool game mechanic. Nice job!
Your pixel art is beautiful and it is an interesting game mechanic, to have the wasps as enemies, projectiles and health items. The only downside for me was, that the game gets very hetic. That doesn't fit the slow walking giant very well, either.
Can we say, it is an innovative clickergame? Or ist this an oxymoron? ;-)
I think this game is far behind your lovely TerraNil, but it is still a good LudumDare entry.
Great artwork and a wonderful calm mood.
Unique idea, realy innovativegame, everything matches well together.
Like other players, I had also problems with the controls and collision detection an so on. The bear walked in the air, got stuck or fall out of the map. So I couldn't realy play the game. :-(
The graphics are realy nice, the movement feels very smooth. Good work!
I had a little bug: I could continue playing with 0 HP, so fighting was quite easy ;-)
Works on my system, also with ad-blocker. Fun little game-mechanic. The mood in the night is also good. Unfortunately games without sound tend to feel a little bit "empty".
Very funny idea, my winner in the category humor. Funny voice acting ;-) Also cool pixel art!
Nice graphics, especially the T-Rex.
Nice, that you come up with a different interpretation of the theme.
What a spooky mood and amazing music! The game mechanic is also quite innovative.
As some other players mentioned before, the camera movement is a bit annoying and the pickle spawning points sometimes unfair. But it is a funny game and so far my winner in the humor category!
I like the simplistic art and the calm minimalsitic music matches realy well. Charming little game.
Haha, funny idea. I like it. Also the graphics are are nice, I love the peoples face expressions.
Great puzzle game. The mechanic is innovative and solid. I like the concept. The art style is also very nicy. Every thing matches well together. Unfortunately I'm not too skilled in playing such games. ;-)
Great work!
Wow, awesome graphics. The art style in combination with the fantastic music creates an intense mood. I also found it very innovative to have to kind of indirect control the small chicken. Maybe the difficulty is a bit high.
Cute bird always slipt me through my fingers ;-). Nice litte game with nice calm music.
Great music and sound effects, also nice visual effects. Cool game.
Cute graphics and nice music. I think, the movement speed shoud be increased. It is a bit annoying to walk this slow through the train. But overall a good job!
I like the art style and how the music supports the "desert mood".
Very innovative gameplay, cute graphics, lovely music. One of the best LD46 games I have seen so far.
The controls feel very smooth and pleasant and I like your soundtrack. The only thing I didn't like was the "cut" when finishing the loading (aka winning the game).
The game was way to hard for me. But the music and "sound design" is fantastic. It supoorts a realy intense mood.
I made kind of a similar game and I find it interesting, how different they turned ot. Your artwork is really nice.
My main critic point is, the the slugs are very hard to hit, because when standing on a planet, I always shoot away from them. Or do I something wrong?
I like the graphic style and also the concept. Could be a cool game, if you put a little bit more work into it.
That is such a fantastic game. I love the unique, cute and cool art style. The calm mood, supported by the calm sound design is just wonderful. The gameplay is easy and relaxing, but also fun. For me, this is one of the winners of Ludum Dare 47!
PLEASE make more levels
I am not a big puzzle game player, but I liked yours a lot. It is not too easy to be uninteresting and not so hard that it becomes frustrating. Just the right difficulty level. And I like the calm atmosphere.
Super artwork, especially the title screen, character, and background elements. You nailed the theme. Is there any solution to overcome the loop?
Nice game, i like the idea, the artwork an also the sounddesign. It was fun to play, but the camera was very buggy. It often jump wired around. In Level 11, it didn't return to player, so I wasn't able to finish the game. :-(
Nice atmosphere. Sadly, I had a very low frame rate.
This is a very cool game. I love the game mechanic and the fungus-theme. It is fun to play, and I will play it again. The only downside may be, that it is very slow-paced.
What a charming game. The graphic is amazing, the music realy cute. The gameplay is simple but fun, and it nails the theme.
Wonderful little game. I love games with such a calm mood. The visual style is great, the audio too. For me, one of the best games in LD47.
I like the simplistic art style and puzzle mechanism as well. It is a good approach on the theme.
Interesting game mechanic.
Sadly I am really bad at puzzle games, so I was not able to solve your puzzle. But anyway, nice little game. I like the mood especially because of the music.
Great game with funny productions chain ideas. Very good look-and-feel. Well done!
Really cool gameplay idea. Who doesn't love trains? It is hard to play, but it has a lot of potential. I would love to play it again after some more balancing and polish!
Funny and challenging little game. Why did you opt-out humor?
@idan-rooze Thank you. You are right, I relly struggled with the theme.
@antaresvaldemar With more development time, there would be some more options than just "pathfinding".
@chocolat-endive Thank you. I also think, there is a lot potential. We'll see, what the future brings.
@monninen Thank you very much. I'm happy, you noticed this. This stage symbolises the mind and I wanted to express how the synapsis form thoughts and wishes. And by going deeper, our protagonist overcomes them.
@weathfold For me, it also feels very satisfying. I plan to make a bigger project out of this idea.
@ruling-spear Thanks a lot. I'm happy you had fun!
@demuss Thank you for your feedback. I know, the gameplay becomes a bit repetitive because it's very simple / basic. I already started working on game with this core mechanic but some more depth.
@jam373 Thank you for your really nice feedback.
Very satisfying movement and cool graphics. I enjoyed playing your game.
Once I got stuck after picking up a box :-(
Great gameplay and cool art style. Succeeding seems sometimes a bit random, but anyway, it much fun to play.
Nice game, well made. It is a cool concept, your art is very solid. It sucks a bit, to start from the absolut beginning after dying. Maybe going back to last use of the time machine could be a good idea?
I really like the mood of the, especially because of the great audio. I also like your character design. Controls could be a bit smoother, maybe WASD-movement? But overall a good game!
I like trains, I like tower-defense ... I like your game! More levels, more waves would be cool!
I was not able to play the game in the browser (screen stayed black). But the downloadable file worked. The control sceme was a big problem. Your art was solid and and I really like the intro music.
Cool idea for the theme! Sadly the game was way to hard for me. So i missed a bit the full experience. Input could be a bit more forgiving.
Fantatic idea for the theme "stuck in a loop". I also like the dark atmosphere. Well done!
Nice game so far, but it could need some improvements. I didn't like the controls. The movement could be a bit more direct, the weapons force feadback was a bit annoying. As someone mentioned before, the gameplay is a bit too repetitive. But I your approach on the theme with the time shifts.
HaHaHa, what a funny idea. Making the music speed depending on the mouse movement is also a great game design idea!
Pretty solid game so far, but with room for improvement. As other players mentiojed, the difficulty level is to low. The game should be harder, the path you choose should influce the game play a bit more and the game should last a bit longer. But I really liked your game!
Great puzzle game. I always like reuses or reinterpretations of the tetris mechanics. The only thing I really don't like is the control sceme. It feels very counter-intuitive to use SPACE to place the parts. I would have found rotating with right click and placing with left click much, much better.
Nice work. Fantastic art style. I really like your game.
Pretty cool game. The visuals are awesome. And you nailed the theme. Downside: For me the game was to hard. Mayvbe improving the controls could fix the difficulty level (e.g. by having to hit the damned only once).
The game looks great and driving feels great. Also good job on the audio. The music is nice, but maybe it doesn't fit the game so well. Turning the camera with the mouse feels kind of wrong. And not being able to go backwards, even at a low speed, may also not be the best choise.
But if you put a little bit more work into this game, it could become pretty good and very pleasing to play.
I had the issuse, that no mineras appered. No matter how deep I digged into the ground, I found nothing.
I also struggled with the controls. The mouse sensitivity seems to be so high, that I can't really move in a particular direction. Also aiming was a bit of a pain. But the visual style is very nice.
Nice game, I love these builder-puzzle game mixes. The music fits so well and playing the buildings is ver satisfying.
One of the best game mechanics I've seen in Ludum Dare 48. Although the game doesn't fit the theme so well, it is one of my favorites. I would be very happy, if you continue the work on this. To stay up to date, I follow you on itch ;-)
I really recommend adding sound effects. Even cheap effects can add so some life to a game and it doesn't take to much time to implement them.
The puzzle mechanism is a great idea and I like the relaxed music. The camera zooms were too intense for me (dizziness) and the controls feel a bit unresponsive.
@liammasters @squimmy @axelrinaldo Thanks for your feedback! I uploaded a version with some bugfixes. There is indeed another enemy type (heavy raider) and now he is able to spawn (after the asteroid field). I also fixed the bug with the despawning asteroids. Maybe you have another try?
@pavelc Thanks a lot. I also think it's just a matter of practice. Life of a viper pilot is hard I guess. :-D
@marcmagus @justcamh Thanks for playing and streaming.
@nikolaj I know ... me too ;-)
@cvetk0 Thanks a lot! No there isn't an end. I didn't manage to implement a boss battle against a basestar in time.
@ausstein Thanks for taking the time to play my game. I appreciate your honest feedback.
I like these games where the builder genre is mixed with the puzzle genre. You found an innovative game mechanic. Pretty cool. Also your graphics are very nice. The music is a bit to melancholic for me, but that's a question of taste.
Funny game, great animations. The controls felt a bit slow or wonky. But cool game with great visuals.
The dice mechanic and the whole battle system is great. It's a real pleasure to play.
Pretty nice game with a solid and fun gameplay and great amount of polish. Visuals and sound are at a high quality level. The game feels very "finished". Great work!
Interesting atmospheric game. I like the strange ending ;-) Worst thing was the collision detection on the walls. But I think is fixable.
The visuals are really nice, great job. I like the idea with the flares, and the rope mechanic is great.
I have only two critic points: 1. The controls could feel a bit more tight. I don't know how to descripe - sometimes it felt like I got a bit stuck on a corner or wall. 2. The music is very repetitive and it got a bit annoying for me after a few minutes.
I like the sound effects and how you used a well know puzzle mechanic in an interesting new way.
Fantastic! I love the art style and the sound design. Pretty awesome job! Also the controlls feel very good. I really love it. One issue is, that it is to hard (or repetitive). The mining takes (especially in the beginning) to long, befor you can buy upgrades.
Great visuals, good choise of music. Nice gameplay. Checkpoints would have been nice. ;-)
The game itself was nice, but one thing I found really annoying: Restarting the whole game when dying and having to read the tutorial each time.
I really enjoyed your little game. Calm and relaxing, but not to trivial. I would have prefered, if the roots would have been visualized. The first few rounds I was playing, I wondered, if it is just digging and the roots grow later.
I like the game mechanics. Cool game with nice presentation. Could be a bit easyer at the beginning.
Very nice puzzle mechanic an lovely music. Well done!
As many others, I got stuck on "Pass the river". Because whan I turned to pull the candle, I automatically made a step in this direction and then I was inside the light radius. The music matched the style of the game, but personally, I didn't like it so much.
Enougth of negative points, now to the pros: I like the art style. Simple, but adorable. And I liked the puzzles and the way you presented them. They were not to hard, but also not boring. Overall I good game, that I could image to play again.
A great game! The sound and visual design create a realy nice calm mood and relaxing atmosphere. Its an innovative gameplay with a good amount of polish. I think the game mechanics could be a bit more forgiving. Often I hit in such a good angle - but not good enough for your game.
Super cool puzzle mechanics. That makes the game unique. The art style is cute.
The lack of sound is a big problem. If there is no sound at all, every game fels very empty. Next time you should put at least an hour in adding some basic SFX. That is so important for a game!
Hahaha, what a cool game. And those boobies ...
Also, a great take on the theme.
Also also, I like the included minigame. It's so responsive.
I loved the voice acting. It was a funny game. There could have been more variety in the game mechanics, but for a compo game where the focus is being funny, I think it's okay. Great work overall.
Very innovative gameplay, perectly matching the theme. I also like the simple but intense music. It's a bit hard to play, but a realy good idea.
Wow amazing work, especially for a compo game. The ps1 art style works great for this genre, the visual representation and the sound design create a suitable mood. Hats off!
There aren't many people who dare to develop a strategy game in a game jam. You did a good job, but next time you may change your priorities a bit. I tink less different units and less differnt environment effect would have been abseloutly okay - maybe even better, in order to keep the learning curve flat (always better in a game jam). The time gained could well be put into music and sound effects, as this is extremely important for the atmosphere of a game.
Overall, good job!
Multiplayer games are not the best idea for a game jam, but I played this anyway. Playing alone is a bit chaotic. The game itself is nice, but I don't see anything relied to "unstable". The sound desgin and music is simple but pleasing.
I realy like the gameplay mechanics and was a bit sad, that there are not more solar systems to discover and to colonice. Your game has a lot potential and I hope you keep on working on it and expanding it.
The game isn't so "unfun". I played a lot of games that were less pleasant while trying to be "fun".
@lucas-thomaz Thank you for this hint. I fixed that problem and the web-build also works now.
@elazulus My last games had much too "dominant" music, because I made it like I would create a song. This time, I tried to mak actual "game music", that fills the atmosphere but totally stays in the background.
@slickramen The explosive blocks are a cool idea.
@ollieoa @truewolves @connor-magson
In the past I also ran into the problem, that some people liked my control scheme, others didn't. I also only testplayed the desktop version, so I had never the problem with the browser. Next time, I better make a mouse only game
@lazzor Thanks a lot!
@life-lich Under windows, alt and ctrl should be a problem. But if you want to play the web version, you may also use [SPACE] to jump and [X] to fire. I'll add this hint to the game description.
@life-lich Thanks for coming back to my game and finishing it!
A good take on the theme! I had the problem, that I found it a bit to hard to play and that my letters somettimes got stuck in the walls. Unbenannt.PNG
What a nice little city builder game. I played this longer than any other LD49 game so far. It's a great work, especially for a compo game. The music was a bit annoying, but the rest of the game was a lot of fun!
It runs very laggy on my computer (I don't have any problems with other games). The visuals are nice, but I found the music a bit annoying.
You guys made a very polished game. The music is good, the sound effects match well. Your pixel art is lovely. All these details and the amount of quality - wow. And a very good interpretation of the theme.
The downside is, that it is realy hard. I didn't manage to win the game.
Amazing idea. You nailed innovation and theme. I was also surprised, that my computer was totally okay with it. It crashed when I died, but I take this as intentional
I love the ps1-style graphics. Your sound design is also nicely done. You had a funny idea for this theme. And your game is kind of innovative. I liked it.
A good approach for a horror game. I think it's hard to balance everthing for the right mood in such a short amount of time. You did a great job.
Great music, cool concept with the needle. Neat visuals. Overall a great game, sadly for me, it's too hard.
The atmosphere of the game is awesome, the visual style just great. Everythink looks and sounds amazing. But the gameplay is very boring. The should be much more feedback, what is happening - and there should happen much more.
Hm, I don't understand why the knifes are thirsty. And I don't see so much "unstable" stuff. As the others mentioned, the game is quite hard. The background art is nice.
Over all, the game could need some more balancing and polish.
I think you have to adjust the size of the webgl-area on your itch.io page. The game window was to small to see everything, when playing it on the website.
I'm not able to play the game. Red screen in the browser version or error messages on the windows version (win-7).
your game is cool. You've made a great job with the music. The game ist fun to play and looks nice. I also like the auto-aiming.
Wow, great game. The core game loop is simple, but great fun. The look and feel of your game is great too. Amazing job!
(First game that makes me really interested in pico-8 😄)
The game mechanic fits the theme really well and you did a great job on the graphics and audio. The look and feel of the game is cool, but it's toooooooo short.
The grafic is really nice and the sun flare effect really cool. The music is a bit repetitive but also cool. The simple game loop matches the theme well. Great job.
Wow, great game, especially for making it within 12 hours. Once I figured out what to do, it was really fun to play.
This is a good tke on the theme and an innovative idea with the hourglass. It was a little bit hard to get used to the controlls. But I understand what you've tried here. The music is engaging. Thix pixel art is simple but nice. Good job!
Cool graphics in your game. It ran a little bit laggy on my computer, don't know why.
@lavendaggers @confusedsoph If you like, I could upload the solution for the levels.
@enver-arco @owca Thanks a lot. I'm happy you enjoyed it.
@lavendaggers @confusedsoph There is a new zip file on the itch.io page with the solutions to each level.
@marjagil Thanks a lot. Maybe I'll put some more work into it. Because I also enjoy this project.
@chairshot-games Thanks! Yes, unfortunately it doesn't fit the theme at all. But sacrifices must be made 😉
@sleepymenace I'm glad you liked it.
@defilerzero @poshdan Thanks for playing and your nice comments!
@studiokraze Thanks for playing the game in the stream. You were a little bit sceptical if the art and music was made by myselft within the weekend - yes it was. Otherwise, I would have opted out these categories. And yes, the version you played is the orgiginal version, there is no post-jam-version (yet).
I realy cute game and the music is kind of funny. After two or three minutes the garbage stoped spaning so the game was over for me. Your game is simple, but I liked it.
Maybe a bit to hard for me. But I love the art style the overall design of your game.
What a lovely implementation. The art is so nice and the music matches well in I get some nice SNES vibes with this game.
Great game - so polished, amazing for a game jam. The graphics, mood and sound design are so cute. The gameplay is challenging, but fair and fun! Well done guys!
The artwork and sound design is great. It gives the game an unique character.
Cool little game an it is much fun to play. The leg movement is so charming. The game looks good, sounds good, the controls feel good - very nice overall experience.
You made a charming little game. Two things I didn't like: 1. The lack of music. A little bit creepy music could have improved the mood immens. 2. The ending is a little bit unfair - just breaking so much that you can't fix it isn't the best way, to put an ending to the game. Maybe reaching the "morning" would have been a nicer ending.
Could you please make a windows build? I had heavy performance issues in the browser but I would like to experience more gameplay. The music is cool and the visuals are pleasing.
@owca Thank you. This works better for me. And thank you for your kind feedback on my game.
A great game idea, that needs just a little bit more balancing and polish. It was very hard to survive. But trying so, was fun! The art style and music is cute. With a little bit more content, this could be a great game also for longer play session.
Cute art style, and good implementation of the theme and the gameplay is fun. Good job! But to be honest: I found the music a bit annoying. :-(
A funny little game. The grafics are simple, but they do their job. Most of the events are funny. A good little game. But to be honest: the music is annoying.
Wow, great game. Nice gameplay, cool mood. I enjoyed this game a lot.
I love the dark mood and the fireball attack is very satisfying. Cool game!
Ehm ... interesting ;-) You absolutly stand out with your style and gameplay. As written by other players, everything was bit confusing and chaotic. But maybe this is it what makes the game charming.
This is a awesome game. It creates such an excitement. The "punchy" music combined with that great camera movement makes the game very engaging. I love it. LD-gold.
Combining a kind of tower defense game with moving cars is a cool idea. The graphic looks great. Maybe a smoother movement would be more fun to play. It felt like the vehicles are stuck to some invisible column.
I love the vibe of game. The sound and graphics give me some really nostalgic feelings. And it was really fun to play. Great work!
The grafic and sound is great and - as usual ;) - you came up with a nice gameplay idea (I follow you now for a while on itch). Having to jump for punching makes the controls a bit difficult. But I think this is on purpose?
What I didn't like: Please include some Input (ESC) so I can leave the game without using the task manager.
Fantastic game! The music is great. The graphics are simple but beautyful. You did a great job with the puzzle-design - not too easy, not too hard - solving them was very satisfying.
There was only one thing I didn't like: When the "level-finished-music" interrupted the cool main music after each level.
@yizao This mechanic is introduced in level 3.
@jared-lomangino Thanks.
@moebiusmeow Thanks a lot. I'm happy you liked it.
@saviqq @tim-sims I should have made it more obvious, but in the pause menu, there is a rest / retry button. The problem is, that in the web-build ESC is used to quit fullscreen, so the player have to press it two times. I knew this problem and with more time I would have made a better solution.
@tenlki Thank you for your kind words.
Wow, you created such an amazing atmosphere. The visuals work really great. I love it. And storywise it is deep enough for a game jam game. One of the best games I've seen here so far. The only little downside is, that the main game loop feels a bit repetitive - but, hey, that's the way a drone's life is ;)
You've got a new follower ;)
Good job, great game. I really enjoyed playing it. I could imgagin coming back and playing again, if you add more level. The concept is really fun. The effects and music matches the mood very well.
Nice game, the pixel art and the sound design is great. I like the fun and bright mood.
For me the difficulty was a bit high. I think, having to aim with the mouse for such a short ranged melee attack isn't the best solution. Maybe just attacking in the walk direction may work better.
