that's probably enough autoball for one night
chrome_2022-10-03_02-57-53.png
edit: oh yeah, since i honestly think it's super fun to do a long run like this... try building a row of normal dots along the bottom and build up, and also make a third of them purple for optimal points! it might take a few attempts to get it rolling!
This game brings such satisfying moments, and frustrating ones! When you clear the whole board it's so nice, and sometimes the game messes with you by making the ball just go clean through. The sound effects gives it a very solid feeling.
Once you get into it's hard to stop. It's really well designed and polished. And it fits the theme well, nice work!
I got quite far, but then one of the balls got stuck in the bottom left: b
This is really addictive. I couldn't get pass round 30 and I have no idea how the above 2 is getting such high score. I think I tried at least 10 times. I think my starting placement is really bad. My best score is 27 and that's my first game.
Thanks for the game. !
Reverse peggle, I like it! I kind of wished that you could control the arc a bit, but it might defeat the purpose of the game.
@jefvel haha damn, that's so unlucky! thanks for the kind words :)
Gosh, what a lovely game! What I love most is how simple and easy the interface is to use. It doesn't need a tutorial or even descriptive language to immediately jump into the game and start having fun. My best is about round 30. I'm mega impressed by the other commenters here getting huge scores, I guess I need more practice! Good thing it is super addictive in fun. Admittedly I am playing it during a Zoom meeting...
Feels like healthier gambling! If this was a mobile game I bet people would be spending their life savings! There is also this cool website totallynotasc.. JK!
brilliant work! I love that there's a cost to just firing the next ball, so you always have to work to stay ahead of that recurring fee. I'd be curious to see a version of this where that cost increases over time to drive up pressure a little earlier. I worry that the balance of the game right now hews a little too far on the easy side
Super attractive presentation right off the bat. You have no idea wtf is going on in the first few rounds, and slowly you figure it out. Only after like 20 rounds did I realize a better strategy of using cannons to set up well-known paths. Feels really deep despite having so few items, and a random shot every time. I didn't really understand how to aim the cannons though, is it just a random direction?
cool little game, entertained me for a while!
This is just nearly perfect. The art style, sounds, color palette, everything fits together in a cohesive way. No design choice feels random and every time I noticed some detail I immediately knew why it was added or not done differently. Definitely the best game I have played today!
This is a very addictive game and a very clever concept. This could really be a classic!
Definitely a very interesting entry! Enjoyed playing it. The art style was well rounded and the sfx added to the experience. Some backgroundmusic would have been nice but it's hard to fit into the deadline.
Clever idea, kept me trying different things for quite a while to try and optimize as much as possible. Really like the minimalist art style too!
This fuels my addiction for big numbers :flushed: I was a little confused how the pricing and scoring worked at first, but figured it out quickly. Very solid entry, great job!
This is such a great inversion of peggle, I am struggling to get my head around it. SO GOOOD! GREAT JOB!
Great game - nothing is missing, except some more instructions on how which of the balls/powerups work. Thanks for submitting!
This game is great, super fun! Have been playing for far too long great job!! Also love the Sounds!!! super satisfying
Dammit, I have other LD entries to rate, but now all I wanna do is play autoball
It's so elegent yet so addictive.
Well it's been an evening and I've only rated like 2 games...
Which I think means this one was a success! Great entry!
Such a well executed entry, like others have mentioned I also spent ages playing this. Pleasing graphics, deeply satisfying audio and addictive gameplay made this a really solid entry. Excellent work on this one
A really addictive and fun game, good job. The gameplay is nice and fun, the sounds are really suiting and the graphics look pleasing to the eye. It took me a few minutes to understand what was going on, but once I did it was pretty cool.
Kinda wish there was a way to skip to the next ball immediately, as there was some waiting around from time to time.
Really cool take on the pachinko genre! Unfortunately later on you sometimes get almost no editing time because the next ball will drop just as the previous exits.
I'm not very good at it, but for a Peggle clone with a twist this is really fun! The theme works very well for this kind of game, but it's also very stressful
It's a nice simple idea that got me hooked playing a while. Everything is simple but works together very well, nice game!
amazing game! I survived 40 rounds. I really have no criticism, well done!
Graphics are great, gameplay is fun, game is not very easy, nor very hard, cool sounds. I would suggest you add a tutorial level, because i was a little bit lost at the beggining. But overall, a pretty good game!
This game is addictive. Really Really good one!
I love this game. Cool and simple art. Has a strategic component. Well done. :)
I love the game and how polished it feels. I could see myself playing it for a few hours
The game mechanics were really simple but it's really really fun to play with. The controls are nice and smooth. Graphics are simple but in a very good design and style. Great job!
Awsome game, what else ! ^^ really funny, well made, addictive, the interactions are snappy & satisfying Great Job !
Awesome!!
Such a great game feel, the vector graphics and the bleepy sounds felt super crunchy, and responsive! I wasn't able to come up with some winning strategy yet but I do see the possible depth of this game. Lasted 15 rounds.
Amazing job! Really fun to play.
This game is awesome. It is so simple but so addictive. I recommend this to my friends and will come back playing it. Just perfect!
This is so simple, yet so addictive. My only complaint - though this might just be a skill issue - is that I found it really hard to gauge where the ball was going to travel, and how it was going to bounce, which made it very difficult to actually do anything. The vast, vast majority of my points came from rounds where the ball was already aimed in such a way that it would land in the bonus area, and all I had to do was let it fall unobstructed, and that just felt really unsatisfying.
Lovely game - simple but a lot of fun. The nice sound and graphics made it feel very polished.
I did it, I reached the point where the cost labels bleed out of the UI :). It's a really fun game, very polished and satisfying. One issue for me is that you can reach a point where you will never lose: the cost and penalty don't increase as fast as the exponential reward growth. I'm seeing some people reaching a game over far later in the game, maybe it would be interesting to balance difficulty so this point happens sooner.
Great fun and suuuuuper addictive well done!
addictive :/ would do sooooo good as mobile game :O
No words, amazing entry! I love this! I would totally pay money to have this on mobile. Thanks for this great, unique, innovative, chill, submission!
Bro I thought my 26 high score was pretty good and then I saw the screenshots above
Top tier game, so addictive, I may take this with me to play in class its so good. Clean, innovative, unique. Love it!
Had a lot of fun playing this game! The sounds were very satisfying. Really nice game to just relax and play :)
I have now achieved Autoball, where auto means that the game plays itself now and I have nothing more to do.
Screenshot 2022-10-04 214159.jpg
Really well-polished! I found at the beginning it was a bit too difficult to set up a board that really "worked". I found the game loop itself pretty satisfying, the plonks that happened when the ball hit the things was very nice!
really creative game! (try ours plz!)
Such a clever concept, and executed wonderfully! I think you managed to design the gameplay in a really satisfying/addictive way. The graphics, while simple, are very pleasing to look at. I could see this being a popular game. Really great entry.
Thats awesome. 63 rounds. You knocked it out of the park.
Very addictive, very satisfying sfx. I seem to have hit some sort of sustainable income at this point though lol Great game, I love it.

As for suggestions... the placement in a dense field is a little tricky. It seems sometimes even though my mouse was on the right place before the timer hit, clicking next time didnt work and I had to jiggle the mouse a little?
The screenshot game from above is still going =)
Yeah only 63 rounds was a lie. I have no idea what round I'm in, but I'm at a comfy 12 Million points and its going up. Gonna have to call it a night and close it :(
phew, realized you could make it more reliable if you use the cannons and make a sort of predetermined route. Furthest I got I think was 89 rounds. it took awhile to find some good strategies, but really easy to try again and try to figure out how to do better. great job!
@aeveis I think this is my favorite way to play as well, creating neat cannon+peg chains
Loved the player feedback and sounds!
Wow This game blows my mind super slik game bro! Love peggle, but this is way better !
Incredibly polished and addictive. A real stand-out jam entry. Great job!!!
Such a simple concept, but the great execution makes this a really fun game in my opinion
this is SO addictive hot diggity only round 92 high score right now but im chasing that high again
Left it running overnight but @rubic still has me beat, unfortunately... mine was 1351 rounds :-) Instead of spamming here, I'll post a link to the final screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/CwM6Y9J
1351 rounds, times ten 10 seconds that's 3.75 hours? :-D
The polish and creativity in this is top notch. Super fun and adictive game and the progression with getting xbonuses is briliant. As others have said, would love to see this as mobile game to play on the go, so good!! :)
I'm usually not a fan of this kind of games but this one is so well executed, so well done. It feels satisfying and rewarding when you get a good combo. It has a bit of strategy and a bit of luck which I like.
Great entry! I enjoyed it :)
This game is so addictive and yet I am horrible at it haha. Honestly so well done!! :)
The minimalistic graphics look great, the sounds add a lot to the player feedback and the game feel very polished. Well done!
Super addictive, awesome work!
Simple, fun, addicting idea. Gameplay, graphics and audio feels very polished
I made a simple positioning and it works very often. Very fun I can't stop . Thank you Capture d’écran 2022-10-05 à 21.40.14.png
very nice game! its a good game to play in mobile too !
really satisfying to create these rube-Goldberg esque sequences to get as many points as you can. Fun and well polished project that fits the theme nicely!
Nice simple game! Graphics are simple but really well made
Reverse peggle! Great concept
That's a really nice game. I've always liked peggle and your version of it is a lot of fun! Great job.
Wow. Absolutely incredible entry. Seems like you've done a ton of amazing work, so this isn't surprising... But still, an absolute joy of a game. I could see myself getting sucked into this for a very, _very_ long time, after some tweaks that make it scale better into the late game, or perhaps diversify the game mechanics and break it up into levels somehow. Seriously, amazing job! :tada:
An amazing game! Had a blast playing! And as Doc Ock would put it: "It can't be stopped. It's self-sustaining now." The only downside I ran into was that as the run goes on, there is not really much else to do than to reorganize the board, but the timespan to do it can be around 1 second between rounds  Screenshot 2022-10-06 at 8.34.43.png
Simple, deep, fun, easy to learn, hard to master... A fabulous game. Well done!
This game really has no business being as good as it is! The concept is so simple yet fun and for the presentation the same thing holds. I really like the determinism of the physics so you can build large ping-pong contraptions with the help of just one cannon.
Great job - top contender!
Spent too much time on this. Made it to round 108. Good job !
What a great idea and use of the theme. Super fun and great graphics. I could have used some soft jazz in the background but otherwise this is a great game. :)
Great little game and feels so polished
100/100 Genius game design and very polished idea!! Awesome entry!
Neat, feels like a twist to a clicker game. I like how the costs etc keep things in balance, although one thing that felt a bit frustrating is the longer the ball was bouncing, the less time there was to make changes.
Really innovative idea and polished result. Sweet entry! 😄
At first was hard but it got extremely addictive when the numbers started going up. Great entry to the jam, on another level!!!
Extraordinary! Top! Nothing to add!!
From reading the comments, I almost feel like I was playing it right ahah. Super easy to pick up, hard to master : a recipe for a fantastic game that just works. Clean, polished, solid. Nice one.
What a fun idea, and I love the look and sound of it. Almost feels like it could be a new genre: Peggle tower defense... would love to see it elaborated upon!
Surprisingly addictive once I figured out how to not immediately lose. The other commenters had the right idea with lining the floor with pegs. After that I stopped failing and started having a lot of fun.
Another thing I might add is that there isn't much of a tutorial. I wasn't sure what to do at first or what the goal was. It took me a few minutes to figure things out.
Only thing it could use is a soundtrack. The game is so easy to understand, my favourite ergonomic detail is the pegs you've moved highlighting in blue
Great one, really spend some 10 minutes playing it, gameplay is very smooth. Could become something big if you put more time in it, I would play some extended version on Steam
Very cool game, found myself playing it for a while, very satisfying to get a good combo on. Minimalistic, clean and polished. Fantastic entry!
There are some game jam games that I always find myself coming back to. I can tell this will be one of them! The game took me a second to understand, but it's incredibly polished and the gameplay loop is wonderful. Great job!
Very nicely done, solid audio design and great game design. Simple graphics but well polished, no confusing elements as far as I could see. I'm sure that the best strategy is figured out easily which is a little sad, but maybe different levels with different upgrades/ball shoot positions could be a solution? Either way, amazing job on this addictive little game!
Such an INNOVATIVE Idea, it seems like there is an obvious meta based on the limited item sets but as a jam project the physics, ui, audio etc is SO polished.
This is a great entry! perfect fit to the theme and fun to play, thank you!
Great game! The take on the theme is very unique, the graphics, audio and controls fit together very strongly and are super polished, and the gameplay is very compelling. Only thing I'd add is the possibility to force the ball to release sooner, this way you do not have to wait for it if you are done (or if you do not have enough money to do anything).
This would work great as a mobile game, it scratched that itch in my brain as a great way to kill some time. Sound effects were real satisfying
This is SO ADDICTING. Struggled a bit at first to figure out a strategy, but once you get enough things on the board it gets really fun. The magnet seemed cool at first but actually turned out to be somewhat useless. The fact that your time to place things is limited by how long the previous ball stays felt a little strange, but I guess it works just fine for balance and sense of danger. So much polish on everything! Sound was really good and I think a great part of what makes this game so satisfying. Overall this is a glorious entry for compo, well done!
The best I got is Round 53.
Pretty fun game ! It's a cool variation to Peggle where you have to survive the longest. Would get to play more of it if it had more updates.
Also you can't upgrade cannons like the description said.
This game is addictive and a lot fun. The graphics are amazing and the design system too. I would suggest you to bring a short visual tutorial or tooltips on hover, as it was not immediate to me what to do without reading the description. Nice work! That was very fun
This is great. I have never seen mechanics like this before, and they work great. Its like reverse Peggle mixed with Mario Maker "don't move" levels. I love the cannons that you can place to setup long chain reactions. This is wonderful, and probably my favorite so far.
My favorite entry until now. Managed to get to stage 102 after figuring out how to create chain-reactions using the cannons. Great job!
Damn this is amazing, the best thing I've played so far. Loved everything about it, honestly kudos. It's extremely addictive hahaha
Addictive!
ADDICTIVE!!!!
I'm going to turn off the computer so I can't continue playing.
No further.
Congratulations on the simplicity and objectivity.
it was good.
Really solid entry! *Really hard to put down entry!* It took me a few rounds to fully understand how to play the game correctly, but after that, it was super duper fun and has taken my attention for about 20 minutes. I didn't really get very far in my small number of tries, but I'll probably be back for more later anyways ()! I love the simplistic artstyle and gameplay, it just makes my brain happy.
Superb entry, keep it up!
excellent game! one of these games that looks completely finished, with a solid idea and execution! excellent job, i'll be addicted, even after LD i think :D
Capture d’écran 2022-10-12 à 10.00.13.png
Great game! I think I just beat it. QQ图片20221011010236.png
god damn this game is responsive, fun, and interesting. Game feel immaculate, idea amazing, so clean and tight. Kinda the perfect game jam game
Super addictive and fun! Easily one of the top games I've played so far! Really great polish and execution.
Wow! I'd actually fall into this and i liked it. Thank you for a submition!
What a lovely game that quickly becomes addictive. It's fun placing the pieces and somewhat cathartic building up the board as you go. It's nice to gamify it with the increasing cost each round and a good use of the theme. I could easily see myself playing a version of this that had levels with different goals and mechanics / limitations to encourage you to progress through them. A fantastic entry!
Completely genius. If this doesn't win overall, I'm throwing a fit. Perfect idea, perfect execution.

edit: things have escalated
autoball2.png
edit 2: I have played too much autoball
autoball3.png
A very fun and addictive game. It's very impressive that such a complete game was made with very limited elements.
Addictive game built from simple and satifying mechanics. Nice work!
Wow great job! I love the simple and minimalistic vibe, definitely very addicting! Really great job coming up with something so fun and unique! I wish we could get the ball to fire early if you are ready, but hey the theme is every 10s haha Great job!
Damn, I thought I was doing well with going 30 rounds then holy :grimacing: then I see @amarokczukay with 187 million ahhaha :id: 17.jpg
Nothing more to add other than keep working on this and publish as a mobile game, this super polished and a refreshing mechanic to casual game with.
Okay, i have to stop to play this game, i've been playing it about 30 minutes in a row haha! Just sent it to my friends!
The concept is amazing. The game has so much potential, you can easily make it a mobile game if you want to. The game is so polished, it has a great art style and simple sound effects and everything fits together.
Such a great, clean arcade game! good job!
Five stars across the board!
I'm astonished at the level of polish in the game. Everything from the way the text bounces when it changes to the ball hit sounds rising in pitch makes it seem like a game that took months to make instead of 48 hours, which is probably why I've spent the last hour playing it.
You've hit gold with this concept, and all it needs now is some variation, like multiple levels with stage hazards, like solid terrain or places where you can't put any items (pegs and cannons), and maybe a few more items introduced throughout the levels. Add a target amount of money to complete each level, and that's all it needs to slap a price tag on it and call it a real game. I for one would love to see it.
Screenshot 2022-10-17 140428.png
Nice game!
Dumb fun. Please make this into a mobile game and make some money this is great and addicting.
This was lots of fun! I enjoyed trying to make longer and longer chains of bounces, and it was cool how the balls started coming before the previous ones had finished. The audio and graphics are minimalist, but really well polished. Awesome entry!
I love how polished and relaxing it is.
I like it! Unusual, overwhelming and fun! You really have a potential for a serious mobile project
Very solid entry, everything works together nicely.
Very addictive game. Masterpiece of this jam
Game over, try again?
That was cool 😎
The app is amazing, of course is much better than the game we’ve built, so we definitely will take example from you in the future.
Good job, all respect! 💪🤗
Very fun and satisfying to play. Felt very polished. I probably put way too much time into it. My main suggestion would be to somehow make it easier to make adjustments later in the game. For example, when balls are in play, display a transparent piece on the cursor or provide some way to line up your next move before you have control. I would often get frustrated trying to make minor adjustments with only having a few moments of control to make my next move.Screen Shot 2022-10-20 at 11.59.48 AM.png
Oh, this makes me want to play Peggle again. Very simple but effective entry. Good work!
I'm discovering it only now, this is incredibely fun! I love the concept and the aesthetic. What impress me the most is how balance it is: it feels really challenging, but never too punitive.
