the "take 3 hits then go refresh life" strategy seems to be working fine for me. cute graphics (and not so cute ending of the day)

the "take 3 hits then go refresh life" strategy seems to be working fine for me. cute graphics (and not so cute ending of the day)
nice take on the theme! i loved the physics of characters and how they didn't exactly do what i wanted (spoiler : my knight has killed my archer during a moment of inattention).
i just missed a way to move blocks inside the schedule more easily than by clicking on the bottom or top arrow on each of them, maybe if we could drag actions at the desired time?
good entry though overall, it was pretty challenging!
very polished game, it was fun to play but i can't get past 14, people who have 19 are insane haha nice spooky ambiance and sound!
the number and variety of enemies is super nice to see, the game overall is very polished.
as other comments suggested, adding differences in the gameplay for the 3 base characters would be good.
i've had a good time playing it!
woooow this game is EXTREMELY polished! incredible job on everything! the concept is great, puzzles are good, it's nice to be able to analyse the situation before each level.
it looked that sometimes i wasn't able to perform a double jump, and that led me to losing the level. but apart from that, as i said before, game is incredibly polished!
good idea! since english is not my native language, i had some trouble with some words, but i liked the idea and how you achieved it!
adorable but sorry i refuse this pro tip, i won't kill my chickens! graphics are very nice and cute, and the overall game is really well executed.
and i just see that it is a compo game, which is even more amazing! great entry!
one of the few games here that put emphasis on "less is more", i like it!
but i think you are getting paid by mouse manufacturers to make this game.
graphics are cute, gameplay is relatively easy but the humor is here!! the game itself is super polished. i don't know how many rabbit-seconds i spent playing, but quite a few haha
i really like that kind of game, and moreover it's really well executed for a jam game you apparently did alone! i had a good fun playing this, thank you!
this is at the same time super relaxing and super challenging haha
the physics and controls were not the best, but i really liked the principle of the game, it felt nice to play. music is really chill too
when the number of cards gets bigger, my brain gets smaller haha
good game for memory, feels polished. great entry!
the idea is excellent! it felt like a very polished game, this is quite amazing for a jam!
unfortunately the theme was not really used, but apart from that, the game is really fun and original. and challenging haha!
very nice mood! i really felt the struggle of this watcher! the gameplay is easy to learn but hard to master, i like it! great job!
simple and responsive, which are good qualities! the art is nice, the drums music too, really good take! (and the enemies fleeing when you have your power is a great idea) great job!
can be intense sometimes, but it's a good thing! nice job done here!
cute game with a very nice gameplay mechanic! i wish the layers would appear at the right time with some opacity change, because sometimes it was really hard to see where the new platforms would be. but maybe it was on purpose.
anyway, the art is nice, controls are fluid, well done!
nice twist on the bejeweld. at first i thought ice would grow from where it started, but the random position of next ice makes it really challenging!
the unfrozen button should be accessible with a keyboard shortcut i think, because having to click on it then on the block to unfreeze is quite tedious.
since i'm playing on a keyboard, controls were really hard to master, but i can get the fun in it! still this is an extremely polished entry, it's incredible that you were alone for code+graphics, great job!
it looks like you had not enough time to make it look great, but the concept itself is nice, i like having to chose between safety (going to exit as fast as possible) or risky (collecting yellow gems). Now i can only imagine it with nice sprites and it would be awesome! but well done for a jam!
the game requires ability to work out where you are and what action to prioritize. controls are easy, and the idea of the teleporter is good
very fun idea, with some interesting and original art, congrats! it's challenging to navigate between different controls, which is a good thing! very nice game!
the idea is good and clever, however i found it rather hard to understand the mechanics. i mean i didn't really understand the maths behind, and what action will have which consequence. it also lacked a bit of visual feedbacks, because the main part of the screen (the population) remains completely still for the whole game. but it's nice to see that kind of game during a game jam, it's unusual and i like it!
got to stage 3 before a blue bacteria decided to evade the petri dish. the idea and mechanics are very nice, i really liked the art and sound too! great entry!
this was such a fun game to play! graphics are nice and i love to see things from a different scale. this is a very good jam entry, with an original and clever idea (and i can't remove the music from my head now haha)
the idea is good, but i found the controls a bit difficult (hard to aim, and the water doesn't always go where i think it should go). overall, i had some nice minutes playing your game, good job and congrats for your entry!
that was so funny and well executed! the art is excellent, the humor is great, the music speeding up day after day… so many great details, excellent work! i wish i rank irl as good as irl :D in the meantime, you fully deserve that i give you these ratings ;) Capture d’écran 2022-10-07 à 01.26.15.png
nice looking game, with some challenge, well done! i found the controls a bit hard, i got like a PS1 moment haha but overall, this game is nice and fun to play!
i am not sure about the camera going up and down depending on your position, i think i'd prefer the screen to show all the circle.
apart from that, it's a nice and smooth interpretation of snake game, and you blended it with the theme without problem. good job, especially for a compo game!
the art is awesome (animations, color palette) and it was a really fun to play game! it has some addiction potential :D
i was a bit surprised with the controls, and had to take some minutes to synchronise my both hands haha
and also, getting eaten by rats when losing has such a nice and funny animation hahaha
this is so funny! funny to play, funny to look at. sometimes i was sure the position was right but the picture was labeled as good, and vice versa, but that didn't really matter to me :)
woah, game is super cool and funny! i loved how many ways to kill enemies there are. it was really fun to play, great entry!
clean and polished game, with a simple yet good mechanic. unfortunately i got lost just before the end of the last level
the only thing which was a bit annoying was, when i finished a level, i had to go to menu and select the next level manually. i think a level completion can send to the other level automatically.
overall, the game is really enjoyable to play, with just the bit of necessary frustration. good job!
this game is extremely polished: graphics are very nice, controls are super responsive, idea is very clever.
my only problem was the attack button is a bit unpractical.
game is really fun to play at the first time, upgrading is great, but past a certain time, it gets repetitive and not super engaging. but overall, keeping in mind that you only had48 hours, this is extremely well done!
(i loved how the time of the day changes the colours, it's a really nice addition, not just like full day and full night!)
this is just amazing! to be honest you had me at "made in Powerpoint". It could have been terrible i'd still like it. but you managed to invent mechanics within powerpoint and this is super impressive! as it was said by @pixelydian the order of slides could be changed to have the think outside the box puzzle on last slide (what a clever idea was this puzzle tho)
the art is nice and polished, i loved the rats animation. the game may lack some feedback, like how much life you have, when the floor will collapse, etc. however, a nice game to play!
really good mix of tower defense and platformer, lively music, good job!
this is a really nice first 3D game (for a game jam moreover)! game was nice to play, with coherent art and sound. upgrades (at the cost of life for example) would have been a good addition, but as i said, it's a really good game jam game!! [Capture d’écran 2022-10-06 à 13.57.09.png](///raw/2d4/84/z/5284b.png)
nice, apparently i was a good captain loved by his crew (maybe because i accepted the celebration day 1 year after our departure)! interesting concept, i haven't seen many games like this in LD51! the UI is quite simple but clear and good. i liked the humorous text lines!
wow i was not expecting that (as many other as comments suggest) haha fun to play, fluid graphics, simple but nice
you know what is really good? your idea and your game! you know what is not? me playing it… it was total mayhem hahaha
the overall game feels pretty and relaxing at first but is really challenging after some boats have appeared. It was really fun playing it, great entry!
it was a fun game to play and the mechanics of the bow. nice entry!
wow, excellent game, i played way more than i'd expect! the idea is super clever, and the game works perfectly! maybe some visual effects feedbacks for enemies hit or buffs would be a nice addition, but keeping in mind that it is a jam game, it's overall super good! (if we could pause/play with space button that'd be cool too instead of clicking on the up right button, i think, because at least at first i used a lot the pause button in order to think)
only managed to save 0,000000010362,5% of the world's population! fast pace and really interesting mechanics, graphics are simple and nice, overall the game itself is really nice!
the gameplay is really interesting, and there are many possible combinations of devices, i quite like it! the graphics are good and the game overall is really polished and nice!
this game has a nice potential. i hope in the future you'll add some ranks/upgrades to the cards. but this is a really nice jam entry! i liked the fact that some units can only be placed at day or at night. the reveal mechanism adds something too. congrats!
i loved this game, the flow is very good and the animations of the jumping frog-monsters are awesome! Great job!
i loved the animation for day/night cycle, and the lizards are super cute and colorful! game itself is pretty challenging, but i like it though.
i loved the concept! the puzzles were kinda intuitive, and the music wraps another polished layer on top of nice concept and graphic!
this game was really fun to play! i loved all the different combinations possible, and it felt pretty polished! this may not be super original, but at least its execution is really good! great entry!
the idea is good (especially for lasers), puzzles are clever, but as other comments suggested, the controls make it hard to perform.
this is a great idea! i've seen it played on twitch on several streams, and i like it. now that i've also played it, i love it! Great job!!
the art is really great and helps a lot for the atmosphere. the gameplay is simple but controls are good, game is fluid and promising!
really good game, the dynamics are good and the controls are super responsive! visuals are simple but cool. good job!!
poeple in this game are like : "14 crashed satellites on earth? no problem we can live with that. 15 crashed satellites on earth? ok now too much is too much  "
the gameplay was kinda minimalistic but i like gravity oriented games. interesting entry!
this is such a great game! i loved the mechanics of it, the overall game is really polished and the vehicles made are super cool to see in action! excellent idea and realisation!
really good idea, i liked the mini games, and navigating in my potion shop. the art looks very nice. maybe the only issue i found was the lack of balance between (for example the mortar is a super fast task while the rhythm game takes way longer) but apart from that, i've had a good time playing it. but i must confess i stopped before paying back my debt.
(and the names of the potions were super fun)
wow this game looks AWESOME!!! everything from the art to the sound design is great! at first i was a bit lost and didn't know what to do, but damn, this atmosphere!!! Excellent work! (only issue for me was the camera look was a bit too sensitive)
this game is super hard but really fun! at first i died just after being teleported and thought "ok so every 10 sec you get random tp" but oh! i was wrong haha i was very surprised when playing more and more, but my strategy is only to dodge and i got about 50 points each run
hahaha is this real life waiter simulation? because clients telling i'm not fast enough and me making round trips to find products looked very realistic! controls are not super easy at first glance, but the game is funny (the voices add a lot) and well made overall, congrats!
i've seen this game being played on a stream, i immediately loved it. i don't how much time i have been playing it since, but i LOVED playing it! it's super polished, designs are great, puzzles are super clever! unfortunately i wasn't able to finish the castle part (apparently it went ok with the 3 first jumps, but after it seemed like an endless corridor to the right and no king at the end?) but this game was fantastic, one of my favorites so far!
such a clever game! i've seen it played on some streams and really wanted to test it out myself. now that it is done, i'm really happy! the minimalistic design is excellent for this kind of game. i love how many useless objects there are, misleading you, but since most of the puzzles are intuitive*, it's a great thing!
the sound design is super polished. and as someone said during stream yesterday: you have the best tutorial i have seen so far!
*if you haven't said on stream that two particular objects (spoiler : hanger and pliers) had to interact with each other, i think i'd just have randomly try every object with every other.
the only other minor issue for me is that sometimes you know you need to go in a particular room, and just have to wait like 30 sec to get there. maybe a button to click on when you want to go to the next room (even if the timer > 0s)?
but overall this is an excellent and interesting game, congrats!!
super polished and nice to play! great entry, especially for compo!!
the idea is original and excellent! but unfortunately i'm as bad at this game as i am with a trumpet (spoiler : i've never played the trumpet) the art is really cool and the sound is… well it would be better if i had more experience i guess but it's hilarious tho
your idea is super good! it was indeed mayhem for a long time, but i finally achieved to launch that rocket! graphics are nice and polished, and all the UI is well imagined. music was getting a bit irritating at long tho. however, very nice jam entry!
seing the graphics in each phase was a super nice and relaxing experience. such a great thing you've been playing with AI!
how physics change depending on your phase was also a nice addition!
quite an interesting take for a game jam, well done!
Capture d’écran 2022-10-09 à 17.50.25.png
finally! the third run was the good one!
i like this genre of games so i might be biased. maybe cards are a little bit unbalanced (3 or 4 ancient relics and you're almost unkillable). i loved art!
the only thing i felt was missing was the health bar on units, because first runs, i just sent units attack the big black ooze but it seemed unbeatable
good entry on the jam!
absolutely beautiful, everything runs smoothly, it's great to play and to look at the only issue i found is when i move the camera while my mouse is on the land, it makes the camera AND the sheep move
this game was very nice and fun to play, i spent way more time than expected! i completely see why there is a speedrun category haha
the art is lovely and coherent, excellent job on all points!
i want to see more games like this not taking things seriously! thank you for good laugh
simple but effective. little snail will become a fat snail with all that food eaten!
the camera was a bit buggy for me, but the design is good and cute. it gave me a PS1 game vibe :D
the 3d navigation is really good seeing the parallax of asteroids make me joyful
this game was really nice to play and to see! great job on graphics! my left hand got a bit lost at first with the shortcuts, but the idea is nice and fun, and the game feels polished. great job!
very nice and cute game! the message is great and the mini games are fun to play for the most! great entry
this game is really well made! it's very polished for a jam game, and it's fun to play!
the balancing is not excellent but that's not a real problem for me. but what i was maybe missing was some shortcuts for actions, like arrows for moving et space for attacking for example (i say that but my game is only point&click and could benefit from that advice too haha).
overall, really nice entry!
i was a bit confused at first, but the second run was better. nice little platformer! nice entry!
i've had a very good laugh playing your game! the variety of enemies is great to see, and the overall game feels kinda nice to play! not being able to jump while pressing E got me a bit confused at first, but that's something you learn. the graphics and animations look polished. very good entry, congrats!
wow, if this was the "normal" difficulty, i wonder who can beat the hardcore mode haha
game idea is very nice, i like this kind of game. however, sometimes, the dragging seemed a little bugged (i wasn't able to drag a card from my deck, and it was not an action point nor a wood problem i think). apart from that, i had a good time playing it, but it was a bit stressful to see my population slowly shrink!
this is a really nice game, with a lot of features i like : the format is great, i like the split screen, banners are mostly fun, animations (and how the city slowly gets on fire) are great! screen was a bit small on my computer tho.
maybe i didn't see it because i was not very good, but it seemed to me that there are maximum 2 comets at the same time? i was guessing there'd be more and more comets coming. but maybe it is the case, and i just sucked at game haha
fun game with hard to master gameplay. i mean my brain is not made for that hahaha graphics are nice and game overall feels polished!
this game has so much potential! it is super cute, really fun to play! it annoyed me every time the panda stomps the ground, but that's the point of it hahaha
Capture d’écran 2022-10-10 à 13.12.02.png
pretty challenging, but having to find optimal runs is a nice experience! Graphics are nice and polished too, which is nice to see. Great job!
this is so fun and frustrating at the same time! the mechanic idea is simple yet excellent. graphics and sound are lovely. great entry!
excellent game ! i loved the mechanic, and it was pretty addictive. some levels are pretty hard, but with some mastery, it is super nice and pleasing to watch and to play! great entry!
[edit : ok i was talking about pretty addictive, this is super addictive. i have been playing hours in order to improve my time. from a speedrun perspective, this game is incredible!]
Capture d’écran 2022-10-15 à 13.34.17.png
good game! the different spells are nice, but having to click on the spell card then on the grid cell to place it can be a bit tedious
fun, simple and unusual game! good work
controls are really good, animations are nice and cute, really good game dynamics, i loved playing it!
i've never such a mechanic before, it was a really good experience! music and graphics are nice, i loved the water particles when you do a big slope. thanks for the journey!
i loved it! i was laughing all the way thanks to dialogues. it's an extremely clever idea! i really wanted to see a graph of when i was better at the end of the loop, but that's ok. great job!
excellent game, i loved the graphics, the tile system, really great work! calm and relaxing music is nice too!
woooow this is so great and so hard at the same time! you have to score high on innovation because it was definitely an innovation for my hands! loved the humor and the tone overall!
really fun and cute game! the animations were quite amazing and nice to see! you could totally add a few more levels with increasing difficulty and make it a sellable game for sure!
SUSHI BUSHI SUSHI BUSHI i like this game, it's fun to play SUSHI BUSHI SMASH DAT SUSHI BUSHI BUTTON
only got 15 hearts… pretty hard to follow the bubbles with my mouse, maybe they should go a little bit slower however the face and voice of people are hilarious, great job!
wow this is a very impressive project! what will you do next time? creating your own OS to run your own game on your own programming language? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: game is minimalistic yet polished and nice to play. you did a great job pulling out that game, congrats!
graphics are great (this camera!!!) and the game is kinda simple but really nice to play! when i understood i have left some units in space before jumping i felt bad for them…
this game is already polished, but with some improvements, it can be absolutely awesome!
great atmosphere and art! your team has made an amazing job! controls are fluid. and thank you for posting some beautiful research art
I'm not very good at this game, but the little i see is really nice : graphics work very well, dynamics are good
WOW! so much effort has been put into this game! animations and musics are awesome. i'm not much into rhythm games, but i kept playing because the game overall is really polished and beautiful. These were 72 hours really well spent!
well now that i have seen 2 streamers playing it, it was a bit easy for me to complete. but the first time i saw this game, i felt like it was a really smart game, with some nice mechanics. and if i had seen no stream, i'd have enjoy this game so much, you can believe me!
the atmosphere and art are very nice and coherent. the ending is a bit anticlimatic, but the way to get there is really clever! good job!
the art style is great! once you've found an optimized way of doing burgers, nobody can stop you haha really good game, responsive, clear, etc. well done!
wow this game shows so much work, amazing job! i kinda miss the theme a bit, but the overall experience is very nice and peaceful! graphics are great, the whole game is super polished!
this game is SO addictive!!! i think i've just spent like 1 hour and a half on it haha
super polished, nice graphics, intuitive and bugless interface, i loved playing it!
only issue for me was the sound effects were too loud compared to the music, and i end up lowering my sound a lot just to not be assaulted by sound.
great entry!
that's not what i expected and that's why i liked it haha really fun concept and cool gameplay mechanic, i'm seduced!
pretty challenging twist on the genre! at first my brain could only see colours haha
you've lost me for many minutes!
there are some little bugs, but the game feels kinda polished tho, good entry!
really great entry! art is minimalistic yet very nice and polished, music is dope, controls are super smooth!
i was a bit distracted by the countdown in the middle of the screen, which is the only issue i've found.
once i realised how to play it really became fun and challenging! i was not super fond of the chosen controls, but the overall dynamics of this game are really nice. the graphics are polished, sound effects are excellent!
this concept is so good!!! i loved the black&white atmosphere, it really looked awesome! i think the sailor model doesn't really fits in (but it's a compo game so i'll close my eyes on this).
the only issue for me were controls not being super fluid to me. otherwise, excellent idea, great game!
ok great i can't sleep now the atmosphere is really well done. the proof that you don't need 3D hyper realistic monsters to be frightening!
very nice design and gameplay! since english is not my first language i'm struggling a bit sometimes, but the idea overall is really good, and the game itself is really fluid. To me the only little thing missing could be a visual feedback when you drag a letter, like a little bounce/shake/scale animation. But apart from that, it's really good!
game is nice and polished, easy gameplay, good graphics… great work!
the diversity of arts surprisingly match really well together! the mini games are fun and polished, and the overall UI feels very nice. but since i played alone, i kinda would have wanted my screen to take the whole window, and not just one quarter.
overall, really good team work!
animations and overall atmosphere are awesome!
this game was such a fun game to play! you are right I CAN'T STOP JUMPING ON RHYTHM hahaha graphics are polished and nice, and it's good to have multiplayer co-op games like this one in the jam!
however i found that the theme was sadly not really well incorporated. but this game is a pure fun gem!
unfortunately i was not able to play it myself since i'm not on windows, but i've seen some stream about it, and i really liked the graphics. the mechanics are clever. i can't judge the controls or the game feeling, but seeing it played was nice to watch, so i think it's a pretty good thing!
the overall atmosphere and game are really good! the design is polished, the sound is great. puzzles were globally clever, but sometimes it's just having to wait for the end of the timer to be able to use stop time again. but overall, great jam game, congrats!! [Capture d’écran 2022-10-07 à 13.44.54.png](///raw/2d4/84/z/52b0e.png)
i have to say i'm usually not into interactive fictions, but i was really seduced by visuals and audio, and in the end i was hooked by the dialogues, so great take!
graphics are nice, but it seems to have some little collision boxes issues, and the camera often gets buggy on crystals. Well done though!
my first game was messy due to the many contenders (and not being able to distinguish the player from them) but at 2nd run, i was able to push off all the enemies fast before next wave
so sad i don't use windows nor linux, this games looks amazing!
i'm a very bad shooter and i run out of ammo very fast, but nice dynamics overall
very good game, with some interesting mechanics. the two only (very little) issues i found are : -some cycles could be more balanced because sometimes i just take a spell in one realm at the beginning of the timer and just have to wait 8 sec because i can't do anything more in this realm. -the jump animation was not super practical for me. but apart from that, i really liked the game feeling overall! really good use of the theme. a shoutout to the artist, the illustrations are very nice!
wow! what a polished entry for a compo game! the art is great, and the overall mood is really good.
the two little minor things for me are : the gameplay is quite simple, and the controls are not super fluid.
however, as i said, for a compo game, it is a very good job
the puzzle ideas are great, i was kinda lost at first but when i discovered i can keep spells or keys after rewind, it just became an excellent game! as many said, the last boss is hard but it doesn't really matter, the game stays great!
oh wait, and it's a compo game??!! wow
i liked the mechanic idea and the design of the spaceships. webgl game was a bit laggy on my computer but it was ok. really nice entry!
beautiful art style, nice controls and music, a very peaceful and good game, excellent work!
mh, let's say this is rather unusual. sometimes the answers seemed obvious to me and sometimes it was just me trying again and again every possible button. the format is something i haven't seen much on this jam tho.
additions are ok but ooooooh these multiplications hit hard! simple yet effective, good job on your entry!
@cavejohnson332 thank you! this is the first time i join a game jam, and to be honest this is the first "finished" game i've made, so your feedback is really appreciated!
@rpgfaker Thank you very much! I tried to make it look as good as possible, but these three past days were exhausting hehe
@sagiii thank you mate @soskstu some friends tested it and it appears that navigation becomes way easier with a few minutes practice
@bugbyte14 really happy that you love the idea and the game in general, thank you verrrrry much!
@ofiro i've tried different ways of accessing the actions (including show them on hover) and i can't remember why i chose this way, but i'm sure there was a reason (reason may include my stressed brain)
@mr-danh thanks a lot! Great you could complete it!
@ds-nahogara i can feel it haha gotta learn the mouse choreography ;) thank you for your feedback
@manchmalscott Thank you, really glad to read that, and happy to see that you found some challenge in it.
@teddyreid thank you very much for this nice feedback! If you're talking about the fact that the game "seconds" depend on the framerate and not on the real time, i think it has something to do with the fact i'm not using timeDelta or something like that. I discovered it like 2 hours before the jam ended, and decided to keep it like that because i'm a complete novice haha
@don-fouts @lomby thank you both for your comments! You are many saying that navigate with the commands is pretty hard, it's good to hear what points i should improve!
@eugenik just four words : thank you so much!!!
@moonblast @bobo-oh thank you to both of you for these really kind comments! it's so good to have all players' feedbacks to be able to spot what needs to be improved!
@finntastico thank you for this lovely feedback! to be honest art was one of the first things i did. i know that it is bad prioritization but can't help with it haha and yea i can imagine that with a laptop trackpad this game must be hell…
@elysiagriffin and thank you for playing it, i was so happy to watch it live! You did an excellent job on this run!
@nosloofah ifeelyou.png that's funny because i just discovered that the large majority of point and clicks i've played were during my childhood, so the circle is complete haha
@jaked thank you very much, i'm so happy people liked it!
@hawkin i love seeing people uploading their high score here, it's really rewarding! I agree with you as with many other comments about the difficulty of clicking on the text, i should have put like a transparent object behind them… Anyway, 61 sec looks like a good score (still 2 times less than some friends haha)
@bobfish Hey! oh thank you for playing it!! when i quit your stream, i was like "well too bad for my game", so it's super nice of you to play it even if i wasn't on your stream anymore at this time! About the timer, if you're talking about a 10 sec timer before the next flash, it's represented as the 10 red dots on the babycam. but if you're talking (as Elysia said in her stream) about a timer showing how much time has passed since the beginning (more in a "speedrun pov"), yea i could have done it but got overwhelmed at the end by the time passing haha and i'm really happy someone mentioned the eyes of the other baby hahaha i haven't lost precious minutes doing that for nothing :D (update: just watched your stream vod, it's great to see people playing it to see what natural game reflexes they have! apparently you encountered some bugs i've never seen (like clipping from inside the bed to the chair for example) :o and about the 10 sec timer being longer than 10 sec, i discovered it watching another stream! It looked more like 10 real seconds on my computer when i did it (walking/pulling/climbing movements should be a little faster too). apparently it may have something to do with fps ?? but i don't really know unfortunately :/)
@rlewins thank you very much mate!
@baylock thanks a lot! i just finished playing your game! if the babies of your game could escape the room as the one in mine does, they'd certainly do it hahaha
@msplanlos thank you! i wanted to play your game since it looked fun but sadly i don't play on windows and can't… good luck on ratings tho (i see you're doing well for the moment)!
@msplanlos yea i downloaded it but the file is .exe and i'm on mac… :/
@sheepolution nice to read that! i was afraid everyone's 10 seconds were lasting 15… haha the game is indeed hard judging on comments, but once you're more comfortable with controls, you can go pretty fast! (i think my record is like 27 seconds, but that's cheating because i had 3 more days to test it  anyway thanks a lot for your comment!
@sean-esopenko oh thank you so much for this feedback! i tried to write the game in good english even if it is not my main language, in order to be more inclusive, and i didn't think about this inclusivity… icons would have been a better chose in many ways, you are right! happy the plot made you laugh tho! :D
@trusty aaah brings back good childhood memories :') thank you for your comment!
@saxops1 hey, thanks a lot for your feedback! Yea now that many people have tested it, it becomes super clear that this is an issue. I had one friend and my girlfriend to test it during development, the first is a pro point&click player and had no problem, the second has no real video game experience, and she said controls were a bit difficult to master. At this time i thought this would only affect people not used to point&click, but i was wrong. That's why i love this jam, the feedbacks i get here are so valuable to me, for my next games!
@ben-throop you are not a bad baby, you just have strict parents ;)
@arnochux thank you! i imagine this game is a nightmare for trackpad users… if ever you come back to it with a mouse, let me know :)
@vulpez thank you very much! yea there are some ways to play more safely, but overall it remains a try hard game apparently haha
@mikkyti thank you so much! i kinda wanted a not natural colour for the hair so i'm happy you found it cute!
@nash i see we had the same childhood then :D I can see what was annoying to you, and since many of the comments pointed out this, i now know that it was one of the major issues of this game, and that it is something i should focus more for my next game!
About audio feedback, i actually had it in mind, but when i put a "bip" sound on every second, it became clear that my 10 sec was not 10 real seconds, and within these 10 seconds, some seconds are longer than some others… So i only kept the flash sound, because i didn't want an irregular bip sound…
thank you very much for your feedback!
@unless-games thanks (and double thanks for finding me excuses i didn't even think of haha)!
oh maybe you found the "unable to move to anywhere" bug? i still haven't found what was its cause…
@frozentape thank you so much! don't worry about your slow reactions, it looks like the game is indeed a little difficult ;)
really happy that you liked the mobile music. i really wanted to add more sound effects and music (as i have been working with sound for more than 10 years), but 2 hours before the end of the jam i still didn't have a single sound, and had to prioritize. but at least i made the mobile loop, and i'm so happy when i have a good feedback about it. Yesterday i was watching a streamer playing my game, and he meticulously turned the mobile on at the beginning of every run :D
@nardandas thank you very much for playing and commenting it on your stream! happy you made it at the end  your feedback meets the one of many players here, so thank you for letting me know what my flaws are!
@unless-games i tried to reproduce it without success. i will investigate more… thank you anyway
@otterfaelure hahaha sorry for your partner! :D
i'm super happy you think my idea was original, thank you very much for the compliments!
@evogengames i can't even thank you enough for that comment!!! it made me so happy!
@mediflect i'm really happy to read that you liked it, thank you for commenting!
@xsangyhix as i just said on your stream: thank you very much for the detailed feedback and for the ideas and advice you had to improve the game. it was a fun experience watching you stressed out while playing
@projectcolorball oh wow yes this is totally a bug… you got that during a run or at the beginning? did you do something special? and what build was it on?
because obviously that's not supposed to be like that hahaha
(i've already played, rated and commented your game 2 days ago, really liked it!)
@projectcolorball strange… have you been playing the game on html or was it windows build?
@projectcolorball well at least some restarts made it work, so it's a little bit less bad… i hope nobody will have the same bug again!
@epeachyband thank you for your feedback! happy you liked it!
@gagapete thanks a lot for this comment! and congrats, ~37 sec is a really nice score
i see what you mean for the texts. it looks like most of the people who talked about that to me said the texts were too short, sooooo… hahaha
and yes, i'm myself impressed with GDevelop. it's the only engine i know (can't really say i master it, but at least i know how to use it fast and properly), and if you stick with 2D, it can do so much, the only limit is your imagination and your sprites hehe
that's such a great idea to take part in ludum dare with your son, i'll be curious about your game for LD52 then!
@chakit thank you for your feedback!
@enderswype yea it needs some mastery but once you got it it's ok! thank you for commenting!
@simplepotential thanks for this feedback
@fabula-rasa it always makes me happy when i see someone getting a victory (and even happier if you didn't encounter any bug)! thank you for your feedback!
yea i was a bit caught on the hop with sounds (2 hours before the end of the jam, i had like zero sound). however i managed to finish a loop quickly, that can be heard by turning the mobile on :D
@fort wow thank you so much for this super nice comment! and good job on victory hehe
@dzolkin @rubel-nmb @sparklingsushi thank you for your comments!
@matt-ravenhall i'm sorry you encountered the bug… i hope i get better for next jam! thank you tho
@evgenimp this comment almost made me cry, thank you so much!!!
@aj-studio this is so kind, thanks a lot! i'm really moved by everything happening
@jonah thank you very much!
@gamedevtraum thank you for the feedback! at first i wanted to hide these actions, but figured it could help the player to see in advance what the different options are. and as usual when someone tells me they finished the game, it makes me happy :D
the idea is a really good mix between genres, and is good for my memory haha
i found the controls to be a bit hard, the pellet was not always where i expected it to be. however, nice work on this game!
very nice game! the animations are really good (loved the electrocution), and the grapple mechanics are really good! Really good work overall! i found a really fast way to get the treasure, but if it was located deeper and there was some air bubbles to breath at some places under the water, it could be even better. but it's a jam game, so i'll stay with : very nice game! :D
nice little tower defense! the 5 gold fire balster seems a bit overpowered compared to the 2 gold crossbow.
it was fun playing it, and the idea of the assaulters coming back to life where they died is a really clever idea!
very polished design and spooky sound. i got lucky at first but after that i had to follow possessed babies all over the room it was not as easy haha great work on all aspects!
first of all, great job for your first game and your first compo entry, that must have been challenging! the idea behind your game is great and the mechanic interesting, and with some polish it can be awesome! however, congrats!
funny fast-paced game! that's challenging to dance between projectiles. nice team effort, you did a great job!
earned about 6k before getting late.
fun and hard reflex game! i think my fingers need some rest now. i liked the pixelart. some bullets were not blockable since they could come from 3 different places at the same time. but game felt nice to play!
nice concept, and i liked how the pieces collide with each other. but i was missing some UI about the treshold. i get that it's 1000, but as someone suggested, a filling bar may be more appropriate than a score.
nice game tho!
Capture d’écran 2022-10-16 à 16.05.30.png
this game is really good! i love the mechanics. apparently i'm not the only one finding that the jumps are the weak point of the game. however the great dynamics wipes away this issue!
i love visual representations of 4-dimension, so i'm biased haha
the graphics are very nice but as someone pointed out, it can be hard to actually look at the shapes because a lot of attention is directed on the keys.
gameplay is kinda simple, and it took too much time to actually become difficult.
nice entry tho!
this game is really complete and beautiful (the graphics are awesome, the animations are stunning) i love how you made use of the theme
ok so the overall game is nice to see and to play! i liked the graphics and their harsh colors. movements were a bit slow i think, because sometimes it was quite impossible to dodge bullets. i wasn't sure at first what the UI on the left meant, but i discovered it was the number of rounds remaining (but it didn't look clear to me at first). overall, nice work!
you worried about it being too hard, but don't worry, that kind is game is made for die&retry! i was so happy when i finally got past the room i had trouble with (6th if i remember well), hopefully after that i one shot the rest! visuals are great, controls are super responsive (the wall jump is intuitive)
interesting art i must say. the idea is nice, but the music was bothering me a bit, and i found the background parallax kinda weird, it made me feel dizzy, but it may be on purpose haha
Mix the mine part of minecraft and the "level where the water rises" and you get this game. Good job. But… The mining animation… hahahahaha
let's hope i never have to park a spaceship in real life… graphics are cute and game overall is nice. i liked the zero G controls!
this is fun and hard to play, with some humour! oh i was sad when all the sheeps who didn't fall just got run over… great job on a first entry!
hard at first, but when you get what to do, it's a good mechanic! good job! frog animations are cute
hard but interesting, i like games with that mechanic. i wish there was checkpoint after each room cleared tho. but really clever game, and the music is nice!
i really liked playing this game! the idea is really clever, and i got hooked for way longer than i expected! great entry!
game feels nice to play, but many times i went up being stuck on top of walls having to wait for a new "run through wall" effect. sprites are nice. and oh god inverse movements is a hard penalty to have haha
i like when games revolve around a minimalistic yet killer idea! as soon as i was getting used to a tempo, it accelerated and got me lost again. finally managed to get past the 1000 high score!
it was a fun and clever and original game, especially for a compo!
graphics are awesome, great job on them! the gameplay is really nice too, it's an interesting idea to place your respawn points. i wish there was audio and this would be a fabulous game! but remembering you were alone and had 72h to do it, it's really a great entry!
cute little game, with fast learning pace, that requires fingers precision. this is one of the speedrun-oriented games here :fast_forward:
i was not fan of graphics, however light effects are super nice!
Capture d’écran 2022-10-09 à 14.05.55.png
can't go higher than 100m!
solid game, with some addictive mechanics! sound effect were nice (i mean hearing the footstep is super cool), and the double/triple jump with reload is a nice way to tweak the theme, congrats!
very nice to see and to play this game. the music also sets the mood. some levels are really hard (the round one with vortex on the middle) but overall it's quite fun to play!
simple and easy to get a handle on controls, and fluid. the sprite of the timer is really cool!
i love this kind of gravity game! i liked the graphics a lot, and levels were increasingly difficult, it was very fun to play and to try. but the game would benefit for a faster way to restart a level, either with a button shortcut or with an automatic restart like 1 sec after a death (or both), because i find myself clicking on that button a lot…
Capture d’écran 2023-01-20 à 19.23.37.png
nice and smooth art style, the audio is cool too. enemies were a bit too slow for me, and it was kinda easy to kite them during the wave phases. upgrades were cool, but maybe it lacked a way to see how many coins we have during a wave phase? nice entry.
well i think i've been on this game for almost 2 hours, my vision is blurry now.
i love dice games, and the overall concept is great! i wish the map was not always the same tho. apart from that, upgrades are cool, and learning how to use them was great. it is a very good compo game!
thank you for these two last hours mate :D
(i got 189 turns, i wonder how it can be doable in 50 haha)
this is a really adorable game, i LOVE the style i mean children's drawing are always soooo good, plants are perfect, the idea is nice, sounds are incredible. great job to both of you!
it's insane the amount of work put into this game, well done! the AI is good, and having a town full of bakers seems like a good option to me.
maybe having a visual indicator when a building is on pause? (even if, to be honest, i had to pause a building only once)
happy to give you your 20th rating! very good work, congrats!
as usual with your entries, the game is really addictive and polished! the idea is really good and well executed. It was a little bit hard for me at the very beginning, because i had now idea of a strategy, but the more you play, the more addictive it gets
amazing art and especially animations: everything was so fluid, i loved the waves, the movements of fishes… i mean a gigantic amount of work has been put into this game!!
the gameplay in itself is kinda repetitive, but the rod mechanic is great and unique to me!
I see in comments what the end is, and i'm really happy i purposely didn't kill all the tuna!
incredible game, super fun and addictive! i KNOW i can do more, i'm tryiiiiiing!!!
really, that's a great game, i love the mechanics, having to remember the moves of each enemy, the fact that each level is generated randomly, the nice pixel art (i love pico8 games)… it's like a game of chess, but funnier, and with seafood (i don't know where i'm going with this metaphor)
my plans right now: play again and beat my score
Capture d’écran 2023-01-19 à 20.26.19.png
(i'll edit this post whenever i get a better score haha)
this game is really fun to play! i like the concept of having 3 different "times" (upgrade, fight, harvest) and a different way to go from one to the other (respectively ring the bell, kill all enemies, end of timer). art and music were very nice, controls were super responsive, animation of wheat in the field is great… really had fun, would certainly play again!
nice, i liked a lot the bouncing mechanic! sometimes robots were bouncing a little bit too fast for me to process the information, but the idea is very original! game felt polished, and i really liked the music! great job
i really liked the geometric art and the controls, it felt very organic! at first when i changed dimension i thought it was a bug, because the movement between dimensions seems really strange. however, i liked it, and got this score:
Capture d’écran 2023-01-17 à 14.10.16.png
@pope-paf turn your errors into features, that's the best philosophy
what an absolutely original idea! I've never seen something like that before, so just for that, big congrats! it was not easy first, and the UI is a bit rough (but none of that is a problem to me anyway). Really, it's a breathtaking concept, really well executed!
This entry is at the same time really fun and really addictive! Animations and sounds are on point, and it is really one of these games i know i may play again after the jam!
The only downside for me was when your character gets stuck on a high platform and you have to blindly move him and hope it'll eventually come back at some point.
Capture d’écran 2023-01-13 à 14.07.03.png
very nice little game! the mechanic was cool (but sometimes, the hitboxes of objects to pull were a bit slow, for example the stone or the bomb), some levels took me some time to figure out, but i finally beat the game! very nice sprites and atmosphere.
big shoutout to the old man waiting for his sbires to sacrifices themselves.
i really liked the idea of this game, and how it's really easy to learn. however, i found that past some point, it gets less and less fun to play, it's just harvesting planets and clicking on asteroids. went to level 17 tho! nice game!
I promise you as soon as i have my hands on a windows pc (unfortunately i'm on a mac) i play your game! For now i can only rate 5/5 on graphics, because this reinterpretation of Bosch is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!
Your idea looks awesome and i really hope i'll be able to play it before ratings end and then edit this comment and just say "omg what a fantastic work!"
what an original game! the theatre scenery and the puppet show is a really good idea.
the gameplay was kinda minimalistic tho, since you can just wave both arms continuously to frighten all the birds.
however, this is a game as i'd like to see more, because it is really unique.
so much polish! this game is great, i was completely absorbed by it when playing. Smooth graphics, nice music (adds a bit of tension). i want to live in a world where ALL these words exist.
leaderboard, beware, i'm coming
Capture d’écran 2023-01-14 à 21.58.01.png
nice controls, i like having many attacks. however, the game is kinda punitive, because sometimes, you kill an enemy but can't manage to land where to are supposed to, and you need to restart game to try again.
very nice idea, i liked the automation of ships and how upgrades really helped! i also loved the different stars and planets models! time between supernovas seemed a bit too long. i don't like capitalism and destroying planets, but ok, i must admit it was cool playing this game :D
very nice and polished game, i unfortunately don't have a controller and it was really hard with a keyboard, but i liked your levels. sound is nice too! good entry!!
i don't know how my karma will be after playing this game, but this was really hilarious! art is nice and sound is so funny!
the character was kinda easy to control, but i noticed that i had the reflex to use my mouse to move the camera, so maybe the controls would be even smoother with the possibility of pivoting camera with the mouse?
thanks for the experience hahaha
nice card game, i really liked to see each enemy! i only upgraded with +1 damage, and it went perfect until the last boss, where i killed him with only 4 hp left.
it was a bit hard to understand what i was doing, and the lack of feedback during the fights made me wonder if i touched the enemies or not. maybe you wanted to do a bit more than what you can do in a jam, but it's totally ok to me!
oh and i really liked the art style of the sprites and animations are nice!
After 5 years in an art school i can guarantee it's better than most of the things i've seen there. Paul Galloway will change his mind about this piece of art.
It reminds me of this game that blew my mind like 15 years ago, where you had to make things in order to create other things, all from basic tiles. i really love this idea, and the execution here is super polished! tiles are nice, ambiance is chill and good, really a truly good game!
sometimes i had a new combination and was super happy about it but was unable to reproduce it later due to my brain performances haha i think i got something like 25 tiles discovered, and have no idea how to find the last ones
really nice and chill experience, made me think a lot because i was not super good haha
art and music are nice, concept too. great work!
Oh! Another game where you play an insect! :bee: :beetle: :ant:
Great job for your first game on a new engine! Movements (bee+pollen) were super fluid and felt very natural. I loved the lightning and how the light shapes move.
I had trouble getting past ~80 pollens!
Only issue is when i restarted the game after lose, the flowers from the last game stayed and i was instantly attacked by dozens of them! I had to refresh the page after each death, which isn't a big deal honestly :)
controls and idea are at the same time super simple and super effective! (controls were a bit hard to master for me tho)
it was really fun to play and art was cute, great entry!
cool narrative game! i liked the ambiance, here, and the illustrations were nice! when a new character appeared, the "next" button was hidden (it happened to be too low? or black on black? anyway clicking on the lowest edge of the screen made it work until the next character) but apart from that, it was a pleasant experience!
after watching your game being played by streamers, i finally test it myself! i looove the fact that you can build your own world, and finally, i spent most of my time just creating a little cosy island for my settlers. graphics are nice, it's a cool semi-idle game!
the only downside is that there is no incentive, it just keeps growing and growing, and i don't see how you can really lose the game.
but great entry tho!
i've had a lot of fun playing this one. the trade off between fight/harvest and upgrade is well designed, controls were nice. with sound, i think i would have been even more absorbed (but don't worry, i just spent 30 minutes playing haha)
great entry!
incredible idea and execution! i haven't seen something like this since the EyeToy on PS2 (and believe me, it was my favorite activity at this time)!
it is a really good exercice for the brain to do the movements in mirror. audio is fun too, i liked the voices.
just not a fan of killing poor and innocent birbs  hahaha
quite addictive game indeed! i like the simple pixel art and the increasing difficulty. maybe movements of the plate were a bit too slow, but it was fun to play!
Capture d’écran 2023-01-22 à 17.27.47.png
really great job in level design, some levels were really hard, and it was a really pleasant game to play! music is really chill and good, and the gameplay mechanics you discover little by little are good! congrats on this entry!
did you like LD51 theme so much you wanted to mix it with LD52? jk
it was an incredible game! i've had so much fun i had to refrain myself from playing it all night! i wish there was an endless mode because i didn't want to stop at 1000 souls haha
there are some minor things that could be improved, but they were nothing compared to all the good things! art is nice, idea is super clever and original, the fact that the map is randomly generated is awesome and makes me want to play again and again!
great job!
Capture d’écran 2023-01-11 à 04.35.42.png
PS:happy to see i'm the one giving you your 20th rating :D
this was an excellent puzzle game!! i loved playing it!
there was a bit of discontinuity within the first levels to me (e.g. level 3 seemed way harder than level 4 and level 6 seemed easier than 5, at least in my opinion), but after that, the curve is really good. the last puzzle is really hard but i finally did it!
excellent work on everything: idea is great, art is beautiful and animations are cool, i loved sound (but it seemed like it stopped at some point?)…
if only there were like hundreds of levels… hahaha
this game is absolutely incredible. i'll play it again for sure!
i mean, where to go first? the gameplay is a really good idea and combination of non figurative genres, i really love it. art is on point, sprites and animations are nice, sound is catchy.
~~to be honest the only downside to me is to have to click on the rotate button to rotate. if the rotation could be like with RMB, that'd save a little bit of time and feel good too i think.~~ edit: nevermind you can use scroll wheel to do that
but overall, excellent game, one of my favorites so far!!!
Capture d’écran 2023-01-15 à 13.14.06.png
really liked the art, humour and uniqueness of this game! it was fun trying to beat my score :D
only downsides for me were: i'd have wanted to see more lines, it becomes a bit repetitive after some runs. also, (i was playing on web) sound stopped when i restarted with "R", so i had to refresh page.
nice concept, love the fast-pace decision gameplay! nice mechanic, easy to understand, and not that easy to master.
the game lacks a bit of feedbacks (visual and/or audio) as some suggested. also, sometimes, we can't move tiles because they're surrounded by stone or water, and that blocks the way.
Really great and challenging game! It is the kind of game i was hoping to make at the very beginning of the jam, something with top view, colors, etc… And i'm happy i didn't do it, because yours is really cool. It's a bit hard to exactly get what you're doing on the first run, but it soon becomes really clear!
Great replay value, great idea, great entry :D
wooooow
i just finished it and i have shivers. this game is really moving. One of the rare of the jam where i'm really invested in harvesting. this game is powerful, i'll have it in mind for a long time i think.
atmosphere is great, the music is awesome, how people and tombs age… i mean i can go like this for a long time.
in a nutshell: excellent job!
Capture d’écran 2023-01-13 à 20.31.35.png
very nice game!
controls feel super fluid, art is nice, i love the fact that the shroom's mycelium is the think collecting crystals.
the crystals collect system is nice, the only "issue" for me is there are way more purple crystals than upgrade perks, and at the end it means nothing collecting them. maybe have less purple crystals around the map so it's not that easy to get an upgrade?
yo FLOWERS i'm trying to PROTECT you ok???? aaah… hazardous is the life of a gardener!
the game feels pretty polished, and nice to play, good entry!
space physics related games are always fun to play, i like the mechanic of controls, and the art is minimalist yet beautiful and polished. music was a bit too low (or sfx were too high idk) in my opinion. i enjoyed playing it, it is really a chill game since you can achieve way more when you're going slowly!
great entry, well done!
i really really liked the thick outline art! this game is simple yet delicate.
i wonder what gives a picture 1 2 or 3 stars because you hurt my artistic feelings when i think "this is a good photography" and i got 1 star lol
the list of objects to photography was not super user-friendly to me.
@pepnou thanks, that's what i was thinking. that'd have been impossible to tell the machine what would be an objective good picture, because there is no objectivity in it anyway. No problem, i stayed with 1 or 2 stars pictures, because i prefered them hehe
it was nice to see that at some point you didn't need to spam LMB haha it's nice having to change sliders the best way possible to maximize bunny population, however the game was too short, and after they got access to research, there was no upgrade to go for sadfully
I love physics based games like this, and i enjoyed playing this one!
When i discovered i could destroy or deflect arrows with attacks was very nice. However, i used mostly fireball because it seemed overpowered next to the flame breath. Maybe if the fireball cost a part of your breath, like 1 half or even 1 full bar, it could create other dynamics.
This is a game with a lot of potential, that i think can be super fun to play and replay in the future, if you add or tweak some little things!
simple concept and execution, but it was nice to play, due to the relaxing music and low poly art
super hard and addictive, i really loved the simple design and concept. great entry, i will come back later and try to beat my highscore of 11 haha
this game was really nice to play. I loved the fact that it's a mix between several genres/controls. The background with colored stars (and how they move when in raid view) was very nice too.
The raid controls didn't feel really responsive, or "ergonomic" but that's ok. Also maybe the raid view lacks a health bar, to know how many bullets we can still take?
I've encountered two bugs: i bonked into something (an invisible object?) and at one point i got to an enormous ship but the game froze and an error message was displayed on my browser (unfortunately i forgot what this error was).
This was the first game suggested to me in the smart section. and it was a smart choice hehe!
excellent game! controls felt great, levels are well designed, dialogs are very fun, everything is so good i don't know what to say more… one of my favorites so far!
woah, excellent game! the gameplay is simple but super effective! levels were really well designed: the gameplay mechanic is nicely introduced, and the following levels requires some thinking but they were not as extremely hard as i expected them to be on every new level i reached (that mini heart attack when i saw i had to move THREE people tho). i also liked the nice art and relaxing music.
the only thing which could be improved for me is the lack of visual feedbacks. but great job however!
incredible work!! apart from the great graphics, i found it very responsive and fluid, the level is really well designed. the swing is excellent, and everything is just so pleasing about this game i don't even know what to say!
Great work!!!
i don't know if it's too late or if the difficulty curve is really well designed, but i've spent a lot of time trying to solve levels with a hole. the game itself feels really polished, and the fact that it is a compo game makes it even cooler!
adorable game, with incredible graphics and animations, movements were very fluid. i really liked the ambiance!
some minigames are a little bit unbalanced (like the basketball one is really hard compared to the lettuce one) but it was a really nice game to play, great job!

really unique game and style, i love the originality! (it talks to me very much because i have a collection of 1400 pictures of red circles, this one will add-up to the collection!) i'm not quite sure about the last level tho, it breaks the art you went for during the whole game imo.
controls were not super easy because the circles kept moving a bit, and sometimes, the time i have my hand on my mouse, it's not in the right zone anymore.
the mix between playing a card game and playing a shooting game is really neat! Sounds and sprites are nice, and the idea looks really original to me. i wish there were more cards to buy, or higher upgrades, maybe in the future :)
i love the mix between race and harvest! controls were very fluid, and the art was great (the 3D vehicles are super nice). i really like the fact that you buy your own UI, it is a unique idea! i got stuck after the first upgrade during my first run, and when i restarted the game, there was no sound anymore :( really a good game i enjoyed playing!
@chase-of-bass i got my first upgrade, and when i clicked on "go", the upgrade window disappeared, and the vehicle was standing in the pit and i was unable to move it. but no problem, as i said, i restarted and it went totally ok!
at first i was like "meh no gameplay it's a cookie clicker". it is like a cookie clicker, but not "meh". nice atmosphere, tiny and cute sprites art (i love isometric games). not the most original game, but i've finally had a good time playing it.

i'll send you the receipt of my next mouse
nice addictive game! the post-comp version is harder (for the best). i really liked having to predict AI movements, it was nice!
some bugs make some games boring. some bugs make some games really fun. this game is the second kind.
the surfing bug made my night, i have a big smile now, thank you for the experience! it really needs a speedrun tournament.
this game is so good at so many levels! the idea is nice, gameplay is fun, art is incredible, music is great, i mean i can go like this for long… really happy to have played this, it has so much potential! can't believe i'm the one giving you your 20th rating
very nice game! i loved the mechanic, it felt very good to play! once you get how to do it, it's getting more and more interesting, and i love the fact that you can try to launch yourself very far away!
lacks sound to be a fantastic game, but hey! it's a jam game, and you were alone, and it is honestly great as it is, so great job!
simple and lovely game, with more challenge than expected. art is really nice, music hold everything great. i kinda like the "harvest or be harvested" trope. The visual feedback when you're hidden in the bushes is on point. It was fun playing this game, nice entry!
super ncie game, i loved the art and how the level is discovered and how your text is displayed. i found it a bit hard and punitive because the shots are kinda hard to dodge imo, but i've had a great time playing it!
i really loved the art (sprites, parallax…) and sound design in this game! it gives a strong a nice art direction!
however, controls were a bit tricky to me (they look like some other no gravity controls, but were a bit weird compared to what i was used to know), and i ended up destroying my ship when i thought i was mining oops
great idea, i like the kind of art you went for!
it was a bit hard for me, i only achieve to get 26 points.
i was a bit surprised sometimes because i was sure i was at 2/3 actions, and it looks like it completed anyway?
nice and original entry, good work!
very addicting game! the concept is simple but leads to really complex situations, i like that a lot! sfx and voices were super fun. art was really nice and simple too.
the only downside for me was that i was unable to know what the upgrades were before clicking on them (to be honest, i'm not even quite sure about them all, even after i tested them), but apart from that, it's a very cool game, fun to play!
this game is a very nice combination of genres, and also an original use of the harvest/agriculture thing in my opinion!
sprites are lovely, and it's really addictive, congrats!
really addictive game! i love the fact that you gain powerups depending on the enemy you harvest, fast peace and nice and smooth graphics, great entry!
to be honest the game itself is not very *fun* to play, but the art made me stay in front of it during looooong minutes!
i love everything about the art: the sun is incredible (i wish we were able to rotate around it), color palette, blue lights, etc. music is also very good. voice was nice, except when i'm buying like 50 machines in a row haha
this is a very contemplative game, and thank you for that nice visual experience!
i liked the idea of the game, and was not expecting POTATO SPIDER hahaha i got all recipes! nice minimalist art, the UI lacks a bit of clarity, but it was fun to discover all the combinations!
i really was hooked by the atmosphere here, very good job on the light and on the ambiance! at first i was a bit confused and i think i managed to block a deer in a corner, but after i restart the game, it was exponentially scary! i like the pace of the game, like not too fast, it feels more real to me.
wow, just wow! i loved the _papers, please_ touch! all these voices were really good. Not a big fan of the art, but it's personal. Overall, it's a great entry!
I really hope i never have to do this job for real tho hahaha
so what, you want my space bar to be broken, that's it? :D jk
the flower design was cool, music is really nice, and the idea of having to cut flowers neither too soon or too late is great. however, i found sometimes that the robot didn't cut the flower i was expecting him to cut.
good entry, thank you for submitting!
first of all, this is a very beautiful and polished-looking game, with lovely sprites, great animations, cool sounds…
overall ambiance feels very nice, and the diversity (and increasing difficulty) of levels is really good!
however, here are the two little issues i've found:
-i'm struggling with keyboard controls. maybe something like wasd + left&right clicks (for attacks)? or maybe triggering slowfall by fast double jump key? my hands were panicking at some time
-it happened twice that i got stuck on the floor, like i had only my torso out, and was unable to jump. a restart of the save resolved it.
what a crazy original and super clever idea! this game is not super easy to apprehend at first (as other people said), but then it was a new kind of experience for me. It is really a super smart take on the theme! I love how you used AI, i think it's super coherent for this game in particular. And it made me wonder how much of the information on people's profile was bent by you. Great job!
this game is really nicely designed ins several ways: controls are really good, and when i discovered i was slower when carrying more oysters i was really pleased (maybe because my game kinda have a same mechanic i guess), the verticality of the level is well exploited, there are many fake ways and i love that, upgrades are really balanced in my opinion.
about the art, i think it's really polished. i really felt immersed (haha), the diver's animations are incredible and the bubbles are such a great addition.
Great great job!
i liked the art and scythe animations are cool with the particles! game is simple, but it doesn't need to be complex to be good so don't worry! simple concept and execution are powerful. however, controls felt a bit strange, and the phase through ability was bit tricky to use. nice entry tho!
nice concept, it's a chill puzzle game. i like having to take care of the colors, it's a nice mechanic. 27 days seemed a bit too long, but i don't know.
this is too short!!! art was beautiful, and i loved the sound, i wish it last longer!
i loved your proposition! it's mesmerizing to watch roots grow. the mechanic is simple at first but when you have a large amount of branches, it's becoming way more difficult, and it was a good difficulty curve, great job!
Brillant idea and realisation! i enjoyed playing this stimulating game! as i was playing and breaking my fingers, i was imagining a version of this game where you can chose your own shortcuts, like what if for me the "X" is not on lower left but in middle?
what an interesting a chaotic idea! this reminds me of all the variants of chess by Pippin Barr and i love it! well the movements of pawns are not super legal but since i'm a shitty chess player anyway, i'll pass on that haha
this was a simple but silly and cool entry! it reminded me when i played spore only to make hundreds of new creatures but never play with them after. I wish there was more organs, or the possibility to scale each of them according to your will, so i could make my friend exactly how i would like him to look: 2 gigantic hands and 3 pairs of tiny eyes hahaha
i loved art! sounds are nice and fun too.
let me introduce Bernard to you guys, he's a real fashionista as you can see:
Capture d’écran 2023-01-12 à 17.44.10.png
i like having to grow my own ammo, nice idea. some find it too easy, i was a bit overwhelmed, but i had a lot of fun playing, nice game!
The concept is good and the art looks clean and nice!
the only downsides are that the data bucket seemed a bit hard to move and i was a bit confused at first about what to do on the peggle/flipper one. and the lack of sound too, but don't worry i remember that it is a jam game and one can't do everything!
happy to give you your 20th rating :)
This game looks simple but conveys deep ideas. Controls were original and coherent with the concept.
Clear, concise, moving.
the idea is brillant (hehe) and wrapped in a beautiful game, very polished. i was expecting the collected light to be attracted by you when you come close, not having to collide them, but it's ok. the color changes are beautiful. Great entry!
Capture d’écran 2023-01-14 à 17.00.19.png
nice and cute visuals, i like having to use hunting equipment to hunt those poor vegetables! the gameplay is kinda easy and repetitive, but it's fun!
@la-bread @nikkunakku @zireael @memo2 @qqruzkin @moddingmachine @ironhandmd @durkagames @offdutyextractors @dizzy @bardia-crunch @pfannkuchen @chompdev @fluri @spacecadet @mcbombadev @tvorojok @yubs @ninnec @deimos @eggshelldog @seltzerfish @picross @tristan-doell @moonlightbomber @surrealsalad @mucho-pineapple
I tried to make a working game with a simple concept, and it's really awesome to read that you had fun playing this game, discovering details, strategy tricks and sucking all the blood you can! And i am super touched to see that ou liked the art style and sounds.
moustiqueess1.png
Some of you pointed out the fact that the game was not super easy, and that you might need something to make you not fly always straight… These last days i've been working on the post-jam version of Buzzy Business, taking account of these comments, and now i've released it!
**If you enjoyed playing and/or want to check what has changed, you can play the post-jam version [here](https://amarokczukay.itch.io/buzzy-business-post-jam)!**
__________
@spacecadet to answer your specific question: when you achieve to fill up the bite progress bar, you trigger the "Element of Surprise" buff that gives you speed x2 for a small amount of time.
@tttt tttthanks for your feedback! understanding the movements of the hand and dancing between legs according to them is one of the tactics yea haha
the hand was supposed to be this way because i was seeing it more as an entity in itself, like *the* hand. I was not sure about giving it a long arm or not, but if you find it hilarious that way, i think i've done it the right way :D
@rincs @artsyomni @renrok thank you for your comments, i'm really happy you found it fun to play/addictive (or at least frustrating enough to want to play until you finally got your bloody 100%)!
@renrok this strategy is waaaaay harder with the post-jam version, consider giving it a try one day ;)
@mr-lazy @binney @dmitrygalias @machwerx @zyper @david-mason thank you very much for these comments! it goes right into my heart!
@his-the-unknown-painter @alex-garbus thanks a lot for streaming the game too!
@cassowary thank you for this feedback. I agree, the frogs are extremely hard to dodge, that's why some strategies are biting only the first pair of legs, or lure the frogs all the way to the left. For the controls, i see your point. Using mouse click to bite was my first idea, but i thought players would then click on legs even when they are not on them. I'm not sure the space bar really settles that or not tbh
this was a short yet nice and fun little game!
i really liked the minimalistic art. music was nice, a bit too low in my opinion. at first i didn't understand i had to press space again on the soul, and had to get them back from the beginning. controls are cool, i like the ability to hover, however sometimes i was a bit lost between jump and hover. the level is well designed, all is well compacted.
well done, here you go with your 20+ ratings :D
i really liked this kind of flight sim, and even if controls were a bit tricky at first, i ended up pretty good! i like the music, it sticks in head haha
nice game!!
i like the topography of this game! also graphics have this kind of grain i like too! acceleration of the ship was too fast for me, and i ended only pivoting while staying in the center of the map.
nice game, had fun playing it!
Really nice and puzzling game! I've spent a lot of time trying to solve the levels, which is a good thing! the ambiance is nice, and i liked the color palette too.
however, the only downside i'm thinking about (except the difficulty curve, but that's not such a major issue to me) is the design of the sprites that didn't really help me understand the use of each box or what the inputs/outputs were.
A lot has been done, great job! I have to admit i was lost at first, so the learning curve is not ideal, but once you got what to do, it is a really well done game! It's not my kind of games, but i got hooked long enough for me to say that i liked it!
nice ambiance here, i was captivated! it was kinda hard but in a good way! who knew 90 seconds could last that long! :D
glad to see another game where you play an insect :bee: :beetle: :ant: (way more adorable than mine tho hahaha)
at first i thought i had to make them ALL work at the same time, which would have been a nightmare, but after i saw the signs on lowest floor, i one shot it (maybe because i had time to practice during the first part of my run, which was just trying to trigger them all at once)!
this was fun and cute, nice entry!
i like the low-poly graphics of the game. the gameplay is simple but a bit frustrating because collisions and hitboxes are not super natural to me.
had fun playing tho, nice entry
minimalist yet very cool game, looks like a nicer version of flappy bird hehe. i liked the black and white simple graphics, and music was cool too!
and very happy to see someone else making a game on gdevelop! :D
@ntb896 absolutely! i have zero coding knowledge and prefer to use things i understand haha
nice game and art, i like how the more you carry the heavier and slower you are (i've done the same in game game haha) and how you have to really predict when you'll have to go, gauge when you can greed or when you have to flee. thank you for submitting this game!
happy to give this little tractor its 20th rating!
the idea was good, controls were a bit tricky at first but you get used to it fast. the camera controls were opposite to the one i'm used to, but that's because i was playing with keyboard+mouse and not with a gamepad.
i love the pico8 style, and the story, it was such a sweet kind of experience! i won't look at the stars the same way now :)
the moment where you can eat trees and mountains is excellent!
woooow!!! great entry! controls are great and original, art is coherent and very nice. it just lacked music to me, to fully immerge in playing but i understand you did all alone, so for a jam game, it's really a good game, and one i liked to play! i wish the spawn rate of rare fish was higher tho haha
very nice to see another game made on gdevelop! i think your idea was very original, and the mechanic is good. for your first game, it already show nice aspects of game design, and you should totally continue in that way!
i liked plants sprites, but was not a fan of the tiles, it made the screen a bit messy.
i hope i can play your next game during the next LD and see how you progress until then!
i really loved that game! how i was always "come on i can do better!" hahaha music was nice, art was simple but nice too, i enjoyed playing this game.
however, i felt a bit not in ease with controls, since sometimes, i wanted to reduce the power of my jump, but once it's fully loaded you'll have to jump anyway. apart from that, i had a lot of fun, great entry!
this is super fun and beautiful at the same time! i had a bit of trouble with controls at first, but wow, the quality of this game!! great entry!
this game is super fun to play and is really addictive! the intro is a good cinematic, the game concept is easily understandable, and the execution is great! the AI is well scripted, bonuses are well balanced, controls are fluid, art is cool…
it is really a great idea wrapped in a great game, good job to both of you!
Capture d’écran 2023-01-14 à 13.39.03.png
(as you can see, it was a close victory)
quite an unexpected ending! it was a nice visual novels, i think you really pictured this rural italian vibe and the role of church within these people then and still now. i think the game lacks some info, for example i'd like to be able to see what are the items in my inventory, otherwise i just go from npc to npc to see which one has unlocked its new dialog line.
however, very interesting game and mood!
fun and nice game, especially for a first jam, well done! hopefully for me the AI was worse than me and kept smashing all the cows, so i was good in terms of scoring haha
Capture d’écran 2023-01-18 à 20.52.42.png
this is one of the very rare rhythm game i actually enjoyed playing, because it's more than just spamming a single button every second! i really liked the idea, the music (seeing buttons move on each beat is very fun too) is nice and the countdown is great! it is an original take on the theme, great job on that!
simple but really effective and addicting game! when i discovered i could bump and align different enemies to shot them once, it took a new turn.
controls and animations are fluid and original, art is great, sound is a nice addition and the light effect is super sexy indeed! great work!
Capture d’écran 2023-01-12 à 04.14.40.png
to be honest, i had zero idea what to do, i crushed some C's but it doesn't look like i'm getting something.
but this game keeps you absorbed because of the fantastic art holding the whole game, great work on that!
ok it was scary, the zombie frightened me, nice ambiance you got here. the light effect is very cool and the oppressive soundtrack was well made!
wow such a solid entry! it was super smooth to play, super addictive, and i really liked the art!
this is great game i think i'll play again occasionally!
Capture d’écran 2023-01-19 à 10.58.59.png
simple but very nice game! i like how minimalist things are, they don't need more. Sweet art, nice gameplay (having to be on the side of the mole but not on top of it was kinda original), understandable goal… great execution, everything was fluid!
got it on my first run hehe
This was a very interesting take on the theme, very original and metaphysical.
the gameplay is not the best, but i really like the idea of the hand drawn scenes, it really brings something we rarely see in games imo. however, the choices are not very subtile, and we can be pretty sure of how they'll impact the future.
i really liked the atmosphere changing on each scene. very nice to see that entry!
this is a good idea a wrapped in a very funny game! sailing at the rhythm of yips and yaps was great! the gameplay itself is kinda minimalistic and gets repetitive, and i lost a bit of interest with time. however i've had such a pleasing experience!
Yip.
Capture d’écran 2023-01-14 à 14.17.28.png
when someone says robots will take over the planet, i'll show them this game and they'll stop worrying.
i love physics related games, and this one is at the same time frustrating and simple and addictive enough to make me want to try and try and try, which is a great thing. however, i must admit i retreated on level 5. to be honest, the same game with only 1 apple/level would be as hard for me as it is now haha
i'd like to see people playing it to see what their tactics are!
this was fun to play! i like the change of gameplay induced by your mechanics.
the monster is a bit long to kill, and in my opinion it's quite hard to see at the same time where to shoot and where to move.
i LOVED the audio during the harvesting mode, the sound when you catch a melon goes so well with the music, really everytime i killed a monster, i was so happy to hear that tune back!
bro if i use a no code engine it's to avoid *that* hahaha jk but i ended skipping some levels because of my incompetence
i wasn't aware "programming games" was a thing, and i found it very interesting and absolutely original and crazy to play within the inspector console! 5/5 innovation for sure!
i really liked the animations and the overall sprites art!
also i tried it first on chrome 113 for mac and it didn't work, so i went to firefox and it was flawless. i wanted to send you a screenshot of the error i got on chrome, but when i tried it again, it worked so idk
aaah i forgot to take a screenshot but i believe my package was delivered at 18:21 and i got 5 stars!
i really like the originality of the driving controls, it felt kinda intuitive, however, the space between houses was sometimes too small, and i ended up bouncing on walls more than driving.
this game really has some speedrun potential
it was really chaotic but i a very fun way! controls are really hard to master but i guess astronauts don't have a many years training for no reason. i wonder if they use your game as a simulation for next missions, but at least i know they won't take me on the team.
i was a bit sleepy before playing your game. that sound effect woke me up! i like that you used a fog of war for this kind of game, it's kinda original!
i really like the art style and the carriage management. i think sometimes i got pranked by the hitboxes and/or perspective because i was sure i wasn't driving on that boulder. but besides from that, il like the simplicity of the idea and how you implemented it with nice art and animation, upgrades are a nice addition that makes you want to play more. good work!
the link seems to be missing for the moment, will come back later :)
"your livers get confiscated" this line got me laughing really hard this was a really fun game, i loved the variety of items you can find in the corpses!
i thought i had no sound but nevermind i was on mute haha i've made a few more tries with the sound on, and it enhanced the experience a lot because sfx and music are really nice!
that was super funny because i was playing on a very old and slow computer, and every phoneme was lagging hard, it made the whole thing even funnier! overall, without a laggy computer, well done!
loved the grappling mechanic, the lights, the sounds and music, hats off!
my only problem was i kept confusing my smoke for small rocks but maybe it's just late and i'm tired
wow this was intense! i love how simple the gameplay is but it slowly turns into hell!
the spawn rate of powerups seemed a bit strange for me, i had a lot at some point then nothing for a long period of time then just one new fan.
this was really fun to play and i wish there were even more enemies and powerups, or maybe a way to chose between upgrades (like "shredders are bigger" or "postmen are slower" or idk) to make it even more engaging!
Capture d’écran 2023-05-03 à 13.15.50.png
man i just went to toilet and when i came back i was a billionaire!
it was a fun idle game to play, slow at first but proportionally increasing. Starting with **a lot** of pigeons seems to be the effective way.
really beautiful and cute game, not that peaceful (because it's hard! the 2nd tire of checkpoint 8 always got me haha) but really well executed. i loved the physics, even if sometimes it was a bit hard to predict the rope movements. however, really nice entry, great work!
great atmosphere, i loved the animation, and how the swimming was intuitive! the growing tails of the fish are magnificent! glad to have played that one! unfortunately i wasn't the best haha
Capture d’écran 2023-05-05 à 11.09.16.png
fun low poly game. controls are really fluid, which seems to be a rare thing on a game jam where you have to drive a vehicle, so good work ok it!
Capture d’écran 2023-05-02 à 21.09.17.png
fun and cute little game, however two things killed a bit the fun to me: i was super bad a making the monkeys land on earth, most of the time i got them by total chance, so i've never been further than 4. i also wish the restart button appears faster, since i was losing a lot, i wanted to try again faster. i love how your 3 games follow each other!
i liked the idea of the game, and how addictive a simple idea and controls made your game very addictive. however, at some point, i stopped playing because there was not really much a incentive to continue. maybe a soundtrack or something could have make the experience better, but overall, i liked playing it and got like 30k points before i discovered i could make cranes! (also thank you for not letting the cranes load whatever the asked color is, i thought it'd be way more chaotic before i knew it was not the case)
**EDIT: **i've dowloaded the last version of the mac version on itch, and dragging the executable file into the terminal worked just fine!
…and i'm so happy because it was a crazy experience! first of all the first thing you see is the game is more than polished, everything feels well designed, art is incredible and music is great too!
about gameplay, i simply loved it! the difficulty curve was good, and every new mechanic was introduced with subtlety and humour (but i'll get to that later). the gameplay totally serves the point of the story and it's quite rare to note that in a jam game. i also liked the fact that you have room for error, like for example you can press the wrong keys while texting and it will only slow you because you'll have to press the right keys after, but you don't have something like a penalty for bad typing (although it could have been fun to send messages like "wwwwhelsllowdsdddontasssaazworrwy"). maybe there is an ending with 0% typing error, but i won't be the test player for this one haha
speaking of endings, i got the good ending and "the" (?) ending. first of all, it's great to have several endings, i may test it even more and roleplay to test if there are other endings (you never know with davey wreden). i really liked the falsely naive happy-end style, it was really funny, and that brings me to my last point:
humour is incredible in this game! dialogs are perfectly written, situations are really funny, and i got myself bursting of laughter many times (when you open tinder for the first time was so unexpected, the whole dialog with car is a masterclass, the never ending list of drugs, i mean i can continue but here was my top 3 funny moments).
honestly i don't see anything in this game which is not great, i'm so happy i finally could play it, you totally deserved your incredible ratings, and i'm sorry i haven't rated you before so your medium rating would have been a little bit closer to 5 everywhere!
**congratulations to the whole team!!**
this is a fun game with a lot of potential, however as other people said, it's really difficult to carry more than 2 items, since tv and mattress almost always fall of the car. i really liked the art style and parallax effect on the background!
i'm a bit retching now, but it was a fun game to play! i liked the different tactics on different "floors", but it's getting out of hand pretty quickly, my screen was shaking hard! i liked the simple and colorful art style.
i wish there was a way to navigate between floors with keyboard arrows for example, or with mouse scroll, to not have to click on the up or down buttons.
i really liked how to manage to mix the packing and driving together. it felt very nice to play, controls were easy to understand. very good job! of course it lacked a bit of music and more sfx than the coin sound, but as a game jam, it has really good potential!
i really liked this game, and how the difficulty slowly increases before it's a complete madness! animations were super fluid and the game overall feels very polished. my life has changed when i discovered i could **aim** with the cursor. really fun to play, will certainly come back to it later! :D
i loved it! the idea of moving the room and not the box is clever, and each level is smart, i really enjoyed playing it!
that rage when you discover you missed a letter forever ahhhhh
i loved the animation, and the pixel art is really solid. sound design is cool too. i mean… do i have any complaint about this game? **nope**
Capture d’écran 2023-05-05 à 14.49.11.png
(this was my first run, i forgot to screen the result of the last one)
hell yeah this poor pigeon deserves this rest, i made her fly for too long! as usual i **love** your puzzles and i wish there were more than 15. the principles are easy to understand, and the difficulty curve is really good. alongside with cute art (the flap animation when she lands is a great detail) and relaxing music (a bit too present for me but that was ok), it makes a really great game, and i'm amazed that you were able to do it in 48h, hats off!
wow that is so hard and makes me want to try it again and again until i can finally win this!!! will come back later :D
really happy to see you've released a game for this jam! as usual, i really like your art mechanics ideas. throwing the ball was ok but shaping levels was **the** thing! sometimes, luring the rocks was not super intuitive and i ended up trying to launch my lure at various locations hoping that it would work. however, i managed to finish it, and it was a really nice and peaceful experience, great work!
simple and effective game. controls were nice, and i like the micro decisions you have to constantly make. it's paradoxically relaxing and a bit stressful at the same time haha
Capture d’écran 2023-05-03 à 13.10.49.png
first, i want to say how much i was pleased when i launched the game and everything looked so nice, polished and fluid! you've made an amazing job pulling out this game in 3 days, hats off! the implementation of minigames was cool, and i could only wish there was more content because i really liked playing it!
here are two minor things that would have make it even better: some info on the items on your bag (more than just the name, because i didn't know what the artifacts were for until i got to use one in the boss fight), and a slightly improved random generation for minigames (because i got 2 mazes with zero red node in one single game, so it was kinda easy).
Overall, **really** great work!
the game is a nice variation on endless runner. knowing that you may skip some houses was beneficial because on my first run, i thought i had to go to every red house, but some of them were traps haha i enjoyed the music, it'll stay in my ears for hours now!
Record was 24
this was so fun to play! everything is really polished, and as i said earlier on a stream, the song is really well produced and it leads the whole game perfectly, so great job!
nice fast-paced game, it's increasingly difficult and past 2 minutes my brain just stops working. i think i won't be able to work at amazon (but at least i don't have to manipulate **bombs**)
Capture d’écran 2023-05-03 à 00.55.56.png
excellent work! art was really nice, controls were responsive (a bit odd because i usually use W and S to move forward/backward, not A and S, but i got used to it), animations were nice, and i love the fact that many variables are used in the final score.
Capture d’écran 2023-05-03 à 03.09.51.png
a game of snake where the snake is a truck, there is no apple, the floor is ice and i have zero skill for manoeuvre my vehicle
Capture d’écran 2023-05-15 à 15.23.51.png
it was fun to play tho even if i was super bad at it!
Capture d’écran 2023-05-19 à 00.12.03.png
i did a second run but was unable to find any frog token :(
i liked the simple gameplay, but the controls were a bit odd since i had to stop accelerating in order to switch lane. also, if the camera followed the bottle on x axis it'd be easier on some last levels in my opinion.
however, nice game overall, i liked the art and the sounds!
great atmosphere, incredible art and sound design, the mood is fantastic! i've had such an out-of-time moment playing this, thank you!
simple idea but not that easy to master! i like the art and the minigames, you got me with binary! the music was nice too!
well i don't know what to say more than: **it's fantastic!**
the idea is super clever, i loved art style, everything feels super polished.
I mean this is just excellent, nothing more! I've played this without knowing your previous games got incredible grades, and i'm sure this one will get great ratings too!
i loved how you created and illustrated the map and the various points of interests! nice writing, nice concept, good game overall, hats off!
to be honest, i have spent some time on the level with the introduction of the third piece, and i can't pass this level, i think i'm just too dumb. apart from that, i like how you understand the mechanics of the game by yourself with some visual indicators in the first levels. I liked the overall puzzles, even if they didn't like revolutionize game design, but they're cool! and it's always a big pleasur to see another game made on GDevelop, hats off!
i love you and i hate you at the same time! the game itself is very good, i mean it's a perfect rage game, i love the ragdoll-ish physics, light is nice, sprites too, hats off! i was able to go to the 3rd delivery in about 2:20 min but i wasn't able to deliver it… i think i'll come back later when my nerves are soothed hehe
well i didn't expect a rage game when i started but here i am haha i think i've played too much but i'm stuck at the street lamp unfortunately as other people said, the time between jumps is too long (frustration is ok for this kind of game, but too much frustration kills it). low poly art of the landscape was cool also
Oh well ok, i don't want to look at the pizzas after that throw! it was nice to play at first but then it became a bit frustrating because i was not able to dodge enemies and land on the right spot most of the time. However this was a fun take, full of energy and with good art!
This is a kinda short yet beautiful game, i really loved the art! It was a bit hard for me because i'm not super good with the dodge-bullet-mechanic, but the controls were responsive. I agree with comments saying a faster restart button would be appreciated.
i like this kind of gravity games, i found controls easy to use, and i was happy to maneuver my spaceship better run after run! good entry, well done!
@aschab @chusmimax @bartalomew @tul-games @sweedy @kabura @space-games @drafy @rabbert @bloodyaugust @scriptmage @bonzochuff @luis-priego-cuenca @kosmik123 @spacemyname @weirdbitgames @josephgallear thank you so much for these nice comments, it warms me up a lot! i'm super glad that you liked (or even enjoyed) my game!
@darwyn @caoslourenco @niterich @roboolet thank you for your comment and for the feedback on balance, this will certainly help me on next LD!
@danknstein @fupi thank you for commenting! if you happen to be blocked on one level and you want to try again, i've uploaded a playthrough on youtube where you can see how i achieve each level (but there are several ways to achieve them as i've seen on some streams): [playthrough](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAAUo59BG7w)
@alisher-fazilov @mkraw oooh! thank you very much!! unfortunately i don't plan to make a post-jam game (i usually need to still be in the excitement of the jam, as i was for last LD, but since i won't be able to touch the game project on the next 2 weeks, i think i'll never work on it again haha) but that's so nice to hear!!
@jejkobb @alyd-asmar thank for your great feedback! you're right, grandma should be able to kill the dog, i don't know why i didn't implemented it (even more when i already have 2 other ways to kill the dog), bad me!
@bodhiagora thank you again for playing it on stream, that was such a fun moment to watch! @lomby thank you very much for streaming it too.i'm so relieved that you could finally play it the intended way!!
love yall
@fupi oh thank you very much for that feedback! i've seen this problem in my previous games, and most of the time on streams, so it begins to make sense!
i love how the game goes to "ok this is easy, just put some package here" to "fqhsfijsh here no heeeere left right right right no no no"!
this is a really addictive game but i wasn't even able to unlock the 2nd upgrade, i got overwhelmed with the arrow keys haha
great game, super simple controls yet hard to master! i liked the art, and i can definitely see how addictive this game is, great work! the game feels very polished, the cars even honk when you're too close!
this game is the proof that a simple concept well executed makes great results
god i love pico8 games, i'm always impressed how incredible the results look when you have this kind of constraint! besides the morality of this game, this was very funny and fast paced. the soundtrack was rad! great work
this game was a really peaceful and cool experience! i loved the simple art style of the different plants and mushrooms!
the mechanic is cool, but you can force jump many walls even with a loaded backpack. i loved having to collect things just in case. only downside was that it was a bit hard to distinguish potions from plants, as sometimes i just realized that i had that potion in my bag while i was looking for its ingredients.
really great compo game, congrats!
**this is dope!**
it's an incredible way to use AI, i loved it (and i'd be happy to read more about how/what you did)!
very polished and nice to play! the controls were a bit hard to master, but i like the efforts you've put into this game, well done! pixel art is gorgeous by the way
that was really fun to play, even if i got crammed under packages so fast!! art looks nice, i love the many sounds and animations, great work on the polishing!
the slippery floor and not-that-easy controls make up for a good challenge! unfortunately i can't even pass the 3rd "level" this is hard and i'm bad hahaha
i wish the camera followed the character on the y axis instead of this cut transitions.
also, i know this is a small detail, but having another sfx for when you fall from higher is a really good idea and i was really pleased to hear that
i enjoyed this game! graphics are super cool, movements seems to be better on a controller but i only have a keyboard. i enjoyed playing it and can definitely see the potential of this game! really well done!
really fun game, with an addictive loop! i really liked the sound effect and the overall vibe of the game. it has good humor, nice controls response, good upgrades. i like how the stress is visualized, very clever idea to have those overlapping circles. great game, well done!
Capture d’écran 2023-05-02 à 16.01.20.png
this game was fun and unique and really has a potential! i liked the idea of it and the overall smooth look, i loved the sounds!
checkpoint implementation was strange (when you go past a flag, you have to restart in order to get a new loop), and the restart itself could have a keyboard shortcut. levels were not super difficult, most of the time it was big acceleration then break at the best spot, but apart from that, it was really enjoyable!
nice adaptation of the papers please style, the art is simple and good, and when 5 parcels seemed a lot on the training day, i got better and better day after day and got 14/10 parcels on day 3!
i wish the parcels would be delivered faster after you send one, because i felt at some point i was getting slowed by the wait.
i liked the depth of the narration, the little ambiances changing from one location to another (i loved the portal and the faerie island). i was wondering why my seeds didn't do anything, but that's just because i drank the potion haha
Capture d’écran 2023-05-11 à 21.42.59.png
fun voice acting, the UI is clear (it may just miss a real timer in my opinion). it seemed like you can spam the same house multiple times, so i guess you deliver a lot of packages!
anyway it's always cool to see someone else making games on gdevelop, keep going!
i like many things about this game, in particular how controls seems super hard at first but after a few run we begin to master them and how you implemented all that funny sound effects. the way to throw newspaper is good, this must be super fun to play with a controller or a phone! really good job!
fun concept, very clever mechanics! controls were not the best for some reasons (hard to precisely put a box somewhere because you have to do some left-right, sometimes i was stuck between two boxes) but i really liked the idea! nice to see that!
incredibly fun and polished, i loved watching it on stream, i loved it even more when i played it! i can definitely see why it was on the score chasers tournament because it has so much potential, and it's very addictive! you could add 100 more levels i'll play them :D
unfortunately i forgot to screen my result, it was something like 20 minutes, 50 death and almost all the files but now i want to spend all my life improving my score
splendid game! the art and fx are great, atmosphere too. i liked the gameplay and how you have to be constantly moving and shooting. actually, the art and the gameplay content really fit together, well done!
very interesting mechanic. levels are not really hard because the scene design gives clues about where what could fit. art is cool, simple and polished, and it's very pleasing to enter each new zone. the bugs are what they are, but most of the times a simple replay fix it so no problem! good job!
the game visually and musically feels very polished! i really LOVED the art, 5/5 great job on this!
i played the original version, and i can see why you created an easier one! also the pathfinding seemed a bit odd sometimes (by odd i mean not working like i'd think they would, but maybe i'm odd and your pathfinding is great haha)
Great to see a new Adelie adventure! incredible to see what you've put in WHAT?? 9 HOURS??? that's incredible! pixel art is super nice, permutation puzzle is a cool gameplay (i'm super bad at it but i love it haha!).
i wonder what would happen if you don't have a timer but a certain number of moves each turn. i think it could be a little bit less stressful, but idk…
very time i'm sure i have hidden all the cats in one room and i go back to that room, i find 5 cats i haven't been paying attention to hahaha still missing 2 hiding spots! that was fun (except putting cats in the freezer lol) and got me very stressed (but in a fun way). it was hilarious to find some spots like UNDER THE SOUP! i was sure you could put a cat in the ketchup bottle but nope.
what.
the.
hell.
i got softlocked when feeding the head with the head but wow. not a lot of gameplay, but many surprises! sound and ambience were very well done, unpleasing in the right way. i liked the engraving style art.
thank you for the trip haha!
that's a nice mix of genres! as other suggested, more upgrades would be super cool, because this idea and this game have a lot of potential! it feels like homing missile is the best upgrade.
nice execution, simple art but this is snake, it doesn't need more in my opinion! good entry!
overall, i really like this game: it's very chill and makes me want to create villages for hours. i don't even care about points, i just want to make beautiful places, and thank you for that, the art is lovely. music is superb (maybe a bit too repetitive until you place a satellite dish, but oh my god, when you place it the music is just incredible! thank you very much for this experience!
i really liked this game, it definitely has a lot of potential! i really want to see what you'll do with the post-jam version because i'll be happy to play the new levels (and see if you've added anything else).
art was nice and readable and i got very invested in shoving people hehe! really nice entry!
this was so fun to play! a great twist on 2048 that leads to many more strategies! art is very cute indeed, i was not fan of the music but the UI sliders are for that :) this is so hard but so addicting (as you can see, i've played some games lol but unfortunately i can't get the last denpal) great job!
Capture d’écran 2023-10-04 à 13.46.28.png
that's funny because my first video game was a game i made for my father and one part of it was the exact same game, but less good than yours!
what seems easy at first gets super hectic very soon, and i like that! the ability to move the trash or any window is great and i like the overall art, so great job!
Capture d’écran 2023-10-06 à 10.07.14.png
that was a really weird experience. i mean i liked it, it was super fun to try to find the right words. what i mean is this game is about awkward situations and it really was an awkward situation. so you totally hit it! :D
graphics are cool, the soundtrack is amazing (and contributes a lot to the unease), great job to you!
Capture d’écran 2023-10-06 à 17.59.57.png
your game is super relaxing, cute and challenging as always! i hope i'll never have to make a rabbit nervous anymore!
puzzles are well thought and the difficulty curve is good. sprites are nice and hare's animations are great!
i thought the click and drag felt a little bit strange from time to time but i don't know what exactly (don't worry: the annoyance was minimal, i still finished and enjoyed the game).
(edit: oops i didn't see i wasn't able to vote yet, i'll come back tomorrow!)
NOOOO why did i put my save in the first room thinking i'd have unlimited saves??? i was so close hahahaha
i liked this game. i'm not sure i'll have the nerves to do another run right now, but i might come back and try to finish it once!
i really like what you've done with the sounds, becoming louder as you approach their source.
in conclusion, a simple, cool and raging game hahaha
a little bit hard to handle at first, but the whole game gets pretty sweet after that period of learning! the map generation is awesome (i love topographic maps), controls are nice and the upgrades are well thought. great job!
i'd love to be able to see what quest i'm currently on tho. or maybe it comes with an upgrade i haven't tried?
that was SO COOL!! the controls feel amazingly smooth, music is catchy, fx and ui are super nice, really i don't find anything bad about this game!
that's funny because our games have many similarities but are still really different in gameplay as in style!
i loved harveeps and now i love de-limited :D i've downloaded the game because i'm 100% sure i'll come back at it later!
Capture d’écran 2023-10-06 à 18.17.39.png
well… what can you do bout my dopamine yelling at me "BUILD ANOTHER MONEY MACHINE!"…?
really good game, feels polished and juicy to play, i loved it! it feels a bit strange that the character has a sword but is firing orbs, but apart from that (really) minor inconvenience, i had a lot of fun playing it, great job!
Capture d’écran 2023-10-03 à 12.20.55.png
very interesting game with a super clever mechanic (or should i say… quantum mechanic? lol)! i loved playing it. synergies and balancing are good, art is simple but works well.
i got the "whoops no element at index" so i don't know at which level i was exactly but enemies had 80 health and it was becoming a bit hard at this point anyway haha
great idea + great execution = great game!
this gme really speaks to me because i like world building and hexagonal tiles! i think the randomness of tile positioning is a good idea and makes you come up with strategies you wouldn't think about in normal place.
apart from that, there are not a real "goal" to beat the levels, or at least a score threshold like the previous comment said, that would make it more challenging. most of the time i didn't really know if my score was good or barely decent
i'm super happy because this was the exact idea i had in mind when the theme came out, but i've finally made something else, and that's SO COOL that i can see a working version of my this idea!!! thank you haha
i felt SO BAD when the sheeps fell :( levels were getting harder and harder, it was super fun and hectic, i loved it! also sheeps and dog sprites were really nice! cool game, good job!
that was hectic and very fun! i loved the frenzy and the juice of the game, i was completely lost after 4 cars parked but i laughed so much! controls feel nice to play.
the only issue for me was the sound: it got mute after like 10 sec of game and never got it back. that's sad because during these 10 seconds, i heard crash sounds, and i'm sure it would have make my adventure even funnier!
Capture d’écran 2023-10-03 à 20.27.25.png
i know the leaderboard has been reset but let's still enjoy this small victory hehe
i saw a streamer play your game and i wanted to try it myself. what a good idea:i loved playing it! the game has a lot of juice and feels really polished. the tones of the balls you absorb work really well with the music (which is very good btw, congrats to your dad) and both audio and art (simple but cool, you don't need more visual information in this kind of game) are very pleasant.
great job!
i must find a controller to play this game because the keyboard controls feel so odd. however, i like the overall idea of the game: not a revolution in video game industry, but it's a good roguelite with nice 3D art, and it's really cool for a compo game!!
also it's great to see that the progression is saved after quitting the page, because i can totally see myself coming back to this game in a near future because i haven't been able to finish a hard run yet!
controls feel very smooth, it was fun to play, you have nice visual feedback on kills and that's enjoyable! if they were like 10 vehicles and 100 upgrades i could have spent the afternoon trying all of them :D
the idea is very cool and the game is very addicting since you gain experience and dexterity every new game!
i found the controls to be a little bit weird, i'd put the up/down arrows on the O and L keys or I and K for example, so the left and right fingers position would be the same on the keyboard, not one hand higher than the other.
apart from that i had a lot of fun playing this! also thank you for uploading a mac build! :)
Capture d’écran 2023-10-02 à 19.31.12.png
aaah i can't manage to put myself on the top 10 leaderboard hahaha
i totally see how our games are related. i loved playing yours, it is funny how it's a mix of fast and slow pace. i really liked the simple art (but i'm not a fan of the font however), great job!
i loved this game! i've seen it played on stream and i wanted to try it just after and WOW! the idea is super original and innovative, the minimalist UI is cool. this is sometimes hard when you try to go for the 3 stars (honestly i was with a friend and we could only get like 50% of levels with 3 stars) but believe me i can feel my brain has been improved after playing your game!
i wish there was the optimal solution written after you finish a level because i'm really curious what the best compressions are!
Capture d’écran 2023-10-06 à 00.42.10.png
@greenphox @kaimon @senso @meru @teamldm @kairuma @dzejpi @ahbee-studio-nex-us @vidarn @spike-studio @smitner @mcbombadev @pauljs @strato @mdotedot @brodnork @phillip-scott @magalix @mealky thank you very much yall for your comments and feedback! i agree on the difficulty part, one time again i had to face the developer's bias haha i'll take these comments into consideration for next time! anyway, your comments warm my heart!
also @mealky there is ZQSD support you just have to check the box in the options!
@jebouin @masterofcheese @kuviman @ogelgames @rincs @pierre-marie @kanity @hawkin @javasaurus @coleslaughter @ausstein @trasevol-dog @notnasiul @doot @badcop @ategon @flyingkaida thank you very much everyone for playing it, and for your nice comments! thank you also if you've streamed yourself playing Voyd! :black_heart:
@nestral you're right, i could have been more permissive with bullets and enemies hitboxes. I have tweaked them a bit during jam, but not enough apparently. I got one or two missing hits too, but fortunately, it doesn't appear to be often…
@olddog have you tried reloading the page? it usually fixes this. If it doesn't work, try downloading the executable version and it should be ok!
i thought the sloth i brought with me was a real one, i was so sad when i read "plush sloth toy" hahaha
i got the stowaway ending on my first run!
Capture d’écran 2023-10-09 à 11.57.18.png
this game was peaceful and eerie at the same time. your writing is good, and the art is really original (one of the most original i've seen this jam. sometimes i was wondering if you used only digital painting or also watercolor).
the succession of creatures coming at my window was really cool, but i felt like i hadn't that many choices to make. i know it would have take way more longer for you to make it, but if there were like 2x more choices, i'd have more the impression of personification than now, where i was feeling a bit more passive sometimes. however, little things like the journal illustrations or the combinatory poem were keeping me inside your story so that's cool!
this was SO FUN to play! i've plated it with my girlfriend, who isn't really a gamer, and she loved it as much as i did (she had a controller and i was on keyboard). art is really nice and readable, controls are ridiculously fun.
to be honest, i found that the theme was mostly about how you fit the items on the trunk, but in my opinion, the core of the game was discretion and steal, and not much the tetris part.
however, it was one of my favorite games this jam, thank you very much for the enjoyment!
i like the vibe of this game. the art, while minimalist, is great in my opinion. i feel like a score (based on elapsed time) would be a little bit more engaging, because when i'm having a good streak i want to be able to keep track of that. good job!
nice little top down game! for many reasons, the "fight aliens in an office" speaks to me.
it was a little bit easy, since the new aliens spawn when the last wave died and the keyboard smash seemed a little bit too powerful next to the mouse whip. but the game itself feels kinda polished, i liked the animations, good job!
really good game that for some reasons (maybe the snow and the wind, and the fact that i died too many times) reminded me of Celeste! i liked graphics, especially the snow particles. I had to stop at the level with wind because i was becoming crazy! controls were very nice to handle, and the unpredictability of the drone's movements when it crashes was fun to see. i wish the game was a bit easier. and i'm super happy you didn't implement something like a battery that runs out with time, because it would have been a nightmare haha
great entry, especially for a compo game!
puzzles were interesting and made me think. i think level 5 seems easier than 3 and 4 but apart from that, i loved the brain challenge! if you make more levels, i'd be happy to play them because they're cleverly made!
controls felt a bit too slippery in my opinion but that's the only "bad" thing i can point out, so great job!
i like the simplicity of the idea and how as a player you can still feel fear and haste just as looking at circles! my best score was 47, i don't know if it's good or not, my strategy was to go for the upgrade circles unless regular circles were moving too close to me but it may not be the best haha
finally the ratings are active, so you'll be the first game i rate this LD!
it gets intense pretty fast, i was surprised each wave i passed that i was actually able to pass it! of course the game lacks polish, like music, sounds or better graphics, but it's a cool game as it is, my heart is still beating fast haha!
Capture d’écran 2024-04-24 à 12.31.20.png
since i don't have a windows or a linux computer, i was only able to see a friend of mine streaming it for me on discord, and honestly it was one of the funniest experience we've had!
the cars were destroying 80% of the little ducklings on every run but (apart from that terrible death) that was SO FUN!!!!
ok so… art is great, riddles are good, having to draw the runes is cool, the end is lowkey moving, how the game (in the first phase) answers your questions even before you can formulate them in your head…
to be honest, i don't see a flaw in your game. maybe the drawing recognition for "lips" was a bit hard to trigger, but apart from that, i haven't encountered any issue. some riddles were more difficult than others, but i don't see how that'd be a bad thing, since i was able to solve them all.
great game, great job!
incredible concept and realization, i love this game and i can spend so many hours on it, be sure i'll come back at it later !
it is SO COOL just to imagine the how many possibilities there are for each level!
UI is very clear, showing different layers when hovered. music is cool, i'm not sure if it's the more fitting to me but that's personal taste only, as well as the type which i'm not a fan of.
it could be cool to see how people got their 100%, for example by clicking on them on the leaderboard? or even to see any circle by anyone on the leaderboard. that would be the only thing i'm missing.
but clearly for now this is the entry with the most "wow!" effect! congrats!
this was a very pleasant and unique ambiance! and even more for a compo game, great job! i got this ending on my first run, but it makes me want to try other dialogues!
Capture d’écran 2024-04-16 à 17.33.37.png
wait are you telling i need to be good both in tetris and platform jumping? hahaha this a seriously good idea. my brain doesn't follow my hands or the opposite i don't know, but this game looks very hard to master!
really nice game loop! the different characters have cool abilities that differ well from one another and i was happy to discover them!
i wish you were able to keep LMB pressed to attack in loop and not having to click everytime.
cool job, congrats!
i don't know if it is because i almost didn't sleep the last weekend but this is one of your hardest puzzle games for my brain (which is not a bad thing, i love games that challenge me). i haven't been able to finish it yet, but i'm sure i'll be able to master it with a clearer mind!
graphics are simple and cool, i particularly like the particles (saw your post when you were working on it) and how the line brightens when tiles are linked.
controls were a bit awkward because i often wanted to only look in a direction and ended up walking toward it because i pressed the key for too long. apart from that i don't see any issue!
Great job a usual!
omg those sprites are so lovely
the game was actually more difficult than i thought, i was only able to get like 15 demons in a minute, but i found you can still summon them and increase your score after the minute has passed haha
really interesting and innovative game loop, having to manage the attraction/repulsion of both the wizards and the monsters, that was really cool!
maybe a little bit of music would have make me more captivated, but i had fun playing!
Capture d’écran 2024-04-24 à 12.40.11.png
i love the gap between all the features (i mean you have FOUR camera angles and three emotes) and the actual gameplay. it was fun to play, really fluid, all the little things written on the phone or on the billboards are funny. i mean this game won't be a revolution in the world of video games, but it was very funny for a game jam. also it's cool to see you've all worked together on this!
oh! and thanks to a mysterious "dave" that engaged in some emote action with me tonight
this is me right now
happy-salmon.jpeg
if you release a full version of this game, i'm buying it for sure! i love the deckbuilder (should i say dicebuilder?) aspect, that reminds me a bit of "die in the dungeon" except your dice faces are better in my opinion. i was not a big fan of the visual aspect of the game (mostly the fact that it mixes low poly 3D and 2D pixel art, which are two styles i like but not together, but that's only my opinion and i won't punish your game for that in the ratings don't worry)
really great job to your team for making a game i enjoyed playing and would enjoy more if you continue working on it :D
cool game loop! it's nice to kinda set your own difficulty by switching the levers.
i wish there was something like upgrades to make the progression more captivating. the gameplay can be too repetitive at some point, so making a goal or a timer or something would maybe engage the player more?
overall, i liked the idea and execution of this game, it just lacks a little bit to keep me playing it for long!
the art is incredible! i liked the idea of having to draw constellations, however i felt like having a way to know which color does what could be cool, because most of the time i ended up selecting stars at random. i understand you can't do everything you want during a game jam, so if you continue working on this project, i'll be very happy to come at it later and have an even better experience!
i really liked the controls being at the same time simple but extremely chaotic sometimes! music was really cool and fitting the game in my opinion. i don't know if it is a good score or not, i bumped a lot into walls and couldn't find my toothbrush for several long seconds haha
Capture d’écran 2024-04-16 à 17.58.47.png
easy at the beginning, but increasingly difficult, which is cool. i really liked the simple art, it's simple yet effective and cool. i love the fact that you can have different solutions to the same problem. unfortunately i was unable to summon Crokel, but i think i'll come back later to finish my task! anyway, great job to you!
simply incredible game on many points!
first, the graphics, of course. this is the game with the most beautiful graphics i've seen in a while, and for a game jam, that's insane, congratulations to the artist! when i had to trade some of my troops i was lowkey sad because they were all so cute and it was so hard to chose which one would be left behind :(
the gameplay was really cool and complete, again that's a crazy amount of effort put in that game, and it felt super good to play. i just wish there were more and more levels. seriously, if you want to make a full version of this game, i'd be so happy haha
i have nothing more to say than: incredible job!
this a very pleasant and nice looking idle game, i wish there was more than one boss because i could continue playing it a lot more! the variety of demons and their powers is something really cool to see in a jam game!
the only minor issues i see are the fact that the countdown before the match begins was exactly where i wanted to place my minions so it was a little bit eye-bothering, the pentagram showing which elements beats which was not super readable to me, and it would have been cool if there was a description of what minion does what on the game screen (and not only on the itch page).
apart from that, great job!
i happened to spend way more time on this game than i'd expect! all the island building possibilities are very nice!
i was not fan of the controls tho, i think a click would be better than having to press space bar to move. the wind jauge felt a bit annoying to me too.
apart from that, i've had a good time, played like 5 or 6 runs and got better time after time :D
@recursiveanomaly @osheanoush @hobbystoreronin @mmm1008fm @rincs @godknows @bananplyte @skullpaca @doot @bad-fetus @gaverion @codeman1010 @rekiem @magik8bal thank you very much all for your feedback, it's heartwarming!
@dasilvacontin thank you so much for this feedback! you can join me on the LD discord, i have the same username :)
@kuviman @javid-ladhani @yellow thanks for playing and posting your highscores. unfortunately i scored a 2428 yesterday, so you have a new goal now ;)
@monika oh no hahaha i knew it COULD happen, but i'm surprised it actually did happen!
@julienlussiez @francois-dervaux @justcamh @sheepolution @saryah @ategon @kanity @thetatautau @andreadbx thank you all for your feedback! also thanks to the ones who have played it on stream! your comments are highly valuable to me!
@andidebob thanks for the idea! if ever i work on a post-jam, i think i'll implement that!
@macron @redoxeide cool thank you for finding bugs! i don't understand why the torpedo imp sometimes doesn't destroy some rocks, that's strange. i was aware of the bug that makes it possible to throw a ball even when you don't have enough souls to buy it, actually i think it's @saryah who found it on a stram! argh
@bad-fetus bad news for you, a friend has played Chazm yesterday and got 11667, so new new WR haha
@digitaliliad @gabrimer @ungarblapp @jerem-watts thank you very much for your feedback!
@hexy @gustav-erlangsen thanks for your feedback too, and for pointing out the clumping being annoying sometimes!
@lereveur i'm speechless! how much time did it take?

looks like the first player to get an advantage keeps it the whole game (hopefully it was me… after three attempts haha)
the atmosphere is nice, music and art (i loved the background) fit well, good entry for a second jam!
i can't find my victory screenshot :( i had like 17k points and 7 or 8 minutes, i don't remember
nice take on the vampire survivors style, i love the variety of mobs you can summon or fight (they seem to have nice graphics too but sorry i wan't really able to enjoy them since i was fleeing for my life)!
oh and adding different difficulties is a rare but cool feature to see in a jam game!
sprites are nice but they don't necessarily work well together (some have outlines other not, the style from the minion is really different from the summoner…)
but i'll probably come back anyway because i have some combinations i want to test! :D
good job, that's an overall really nice entry!
this game is REALLY clever! i've had a lot of fun playing it! it's really hard to focus on both moving and drawing shapes, but that's what's super cool actually! the art is minimalistic yet very pleasing (less is more), so great job!
i don't even know how i was able to get that score

i think this is one of the best games i've come across on this LD edition, so congrats!
wow i can't understand how you got 101 points lol i can't even go past 3. The "keep above the line" minigame keeps killing me. i was sweating a lot while playing the game, well done!
this game has everything i like! art is gorgeous, audio is nice, and the game adds a really nice twist on the autobattler, making it more strategic.
i can't go past 7 treasures right now but i'm sure i'll come back at this game later and try to beat it!
great entry, well done!
simple concept and mechanic, but pretty hard at first sight! art is original and nice, sound design is good. i wish there was a faster respawn button, or at least the possibility to skip rules after a new start instead of waiting.
i really loved the minimalistic design and chill approach (well, not so chill when you try to keep alive dozens of creatures haha) really well done!
Ok first of all i must say that i'm really not into idle games. gameplay-wise, my reptilian brain switched into the click-on-a-thing-when-it-appears beast mode. I haven't played it until i get 4/4 upgrades on everything and to be honest i didn't have **a lot** of fun.
Now for the rest: i sincerely loved the doodly graphics, everything is nicely readable and understandable. sounds are excellent (the plop sound when you click, the "rahhlhlnaaamarha" when people get angry, the kisses…) everything in presentation was a nice mix of cute and fun. it illustrates how simple but well thought things are really good!
Overall, i think i'll keep a nice memory of this game bravo le doc!
it's like revising for school but in super fun! the game feels super complete, all the upgrades at embassy, the map slowly revealing itself, the UI is flawless, i'm always impressed at how you manage to make such polished games in 48h, great job!!
so the lore is an erasmus student getting IST during their college years, that's it?
@antti-haavikko oops totally yes IST is indeed in french haha
WOW! incredible atmosphere, the audio is excellent and the pixel art gorgeous!
many things feel super polished: the parallax in the background, the particles effects, camera zooms, etc…
everything fits together so well!
i just have one suggestion which is to have some momentum on the submarine movement, it would help feel like underwater
overall, amazing game and experience, congrats!
very good difficulty curve and mechanic introducing! the pixel art is really nice too as always :) it's amazing to see you make interesting top-notch puzzle games every LD!
i loved the nom sounds! the idea of the creatures orbiting you makes up for nice movement innovation since you have better strategies than just doing circles around enemies
oh, and i love the second game within the game: will my browser crash or proudly recover? spoiler: i underestimated my computer and everything was perfect between lag pikes (honestly that was really funnier than how it sounds)
first i thought "oh the flight levels in spyro the dragon" and i was already hyped
great idea, incredible idea, stunning visuals, i'm 100% seduced! everything feels exactly at its place. it's simple yet beautiful, honestly this is a potential top10 in several categories!
the mechanics felt very creative to me, the risk/reward value is good, and moreover the art was cute!
the mechanics felt very creative to me, the risk/reward value is good, and moreover the art was cute! (ooops apparently this message was sent twice idk what happened and idk how to remove one)
fractal tic tac toe… fractictal-toe or something i guess
very clever idea! the specials would benefit from a little info tooltip but i understand that you only had 48h so well done!
amazingly cute! the end got me <3
the slow motion on jump was cool but i kept wanting to do like multiple jumps while mid-air, that'd change the game mechanic a bit but that'd make room for more approaches. also this has a high speedrun value haha

i had to refrain from doing it over and over because honestly that's crazy that you've done 72 creatures! i'm super happy with my second run creature:
Capture d’écran 2024-10-09 à 03.32.18.png
also i found it very cool that you took time to add many hidden infos on objects of the first "level", made me want to interact with every object, well done!
@kanity an encyclopedia pdf would be a nice itch addition yes!
i was not unhappy with the first one, i just wanted to see more haha and the second one was so cool that i stopped there lol
here was the first one:
Capture d’écran 2024-10-09 à 03.27.49.png
very polished and colorful game, it felt really super smooth to play. the idea is simple but very well executed, it was fun and rapidly getting out of control for me, but it was really exciting to play!
i didn't expect to find a jam game where i would learn things, so thank you! I really liked the universe you chose because it was kinda unexpected and niche haha also art is nice!
having sort of checkpoints help a lot because the first time i died as an eel (don't expect me to remember the names tho) i was afraid i had to restart everything but no!
really fun idea and execution! the variety of ants is cool, everything object interacting and breaking added a lot to the simple smash ants gameplay! i wish there was like a target to see where the finger would be instead of the cursor but that's personal
very chill and pleasant experience! i definitely agree with the comment saying that a bestiary would be a great addition
Capture d’écran 2024-10-09 à 02.34.45.png
i wonder what happened to the 2 lost legs of SixArmBilly
I loved the tone and the art of it! the characteristics of creatures were so fun to discover. i am a big fan of your humour in general and seeing it translated in a video game is so cool to see. @geoffroy big respect for learning Construct and making your first game, it's a high-quality one! @chariospirale your illustrations are fire as always!
i think i'd make a terrible ant unfortunately hahaha at first i thought map was huge but then it appeared that i was just going in circles… and then i saw the telescope and discovered that indeed i was going in circles but map was actually huge!
