I love these kinds of puzzles, great job!!! Would love a quick fail button if I know im gonna fail I dont wanna wait for the timer to go down.
Really fun and polished experience. My only frustration is that it is a little too punishing. When you get to the later levels, if you fail, the speed increase means there is barely enough time to do the clicking required to connect everything together, due to how many connections are needed to finish the level, let alone actually work to solve it. It can have a disastrous snowballing effect where I eventually got to -4x time and was not able to physically click quickly enough to even potentially beat it
But, the gameplay is fun, and the sound design is top.

That's a good idea! Luckily, we're still in the submission period, so I just went ahead and added a quick fail button to the game. Thanks for playing!

I hear that- I don't want to have people have a bad time. In addition to the above change, I've made it so the timer speedup happens in increments of 0.25x rather than 0.5x. Hopefully that stems some of the snowballing effect while still providing a challenge / punishment. I appreciate the feedback a lot!
Personally I really like it when jam games are simple, clean and feel polished. Great concept, easy to understand rules and great execution! One note though, I really wish failing a rune didn't mean it'll get harder to win as it can encourage to give up playing. I would rather being able to play further and finish the game with less "score" or just start from the beginning instead of fighting against the current.
Regardless I really dig the overall presentation!
@ahsoo @alanbrook - Seems like there some common feedback here. I'm glad I published this early! I just went ahead and removed the "faster timer" punishment for failing a rune for this jam, hopefully that saves people some frustration during the rating period. Thanks for taking the time to play the game!
a very polished game
Really nice and polished game! once i figured out i could delete lines it got a bit easier!
Good job!
Simple but works really well!
Very clean and polished, great experience! I did have to give up before finishing because it got just a bit too fast a bit too quickly.
The way you introduced the body parts at every end of phase was very envolving! I like how you worked with humor by the body characteristics. It was very nice and the puzzle was also great!
Really the best game I played in Ludum Dare 55. It looks already like a commercial game!
Beautiful, simple, interesting!
Really liked the visuals (very pleasing colours) and the sound! Really good job on making something simple but addicting
Man the colour palette is so simple and I'm completely drawn into it. Also after a 72h gamejam I started questioning my brain capacity... its due to the jam right? RIGHT?
A simple and good polished game, I like it!
This game is so fun, but stressful!!! I had very little time to think, I'm not very good at these games and I get nervous easily hahahaha. But anyway, the game is very fun and I loved the music
Really fun! I got to level 9. The clicking loop and feedback is very addictive. Until you need to undo connections due to a mistake, then it breaks flow and becomes confusing and you end up losing. Would be nice if it auto-broke connections when making a new one.
Visual style is super clear and gets the idea across. The dots are easy to read and manipulate even under pressure.
The puzzle design is interesting. I think it's a bit too simple, which I guess is why you needed to have such a strict timer for later levels. But because you can't overlap any lines, you quickly realize that you need to just mindlessly connect all the highest # nodes together. So you end up having just a few #1 nodes to connect in the end. There was one level around 7-8 where there were just a bunch of #3 nodes. That was actually tricky and required some thinking, which was the most fun.
Loved this puzzle! took me a while to understand I could cut links, instead of restarting from the previous level every time.
Great game overall
Glad you joined the stream, hope you enjoyed it!
An amazing performance, a very good example of how music and game design go hand in hand. A very addictive game! I'm curious to see what comes next?!
I like this game! You guys are great!
Ooooo this has me smashing my keyboard in a way I haven't since super hexagon which is a compliment. I do find myself instinctively trying to right click to cancel and inadvertently forming a connection but maybe that's just a me problem
easy at the beginning, but increasingly difficult, which is cool. i really liked the simple art, it's simple yet effective and cool. i love the fact that you can have different solutions to the same problem. unfortunately i was unable to summon Crokel, but i think i'll come back later to finish my task! anyway, great job to you!
very challenging game but also makes frustrated at some opints where the pause menu overlap all seals and I have to restart the game to clear these proxys lol. The gameplay is fun and I do enjoy them a lot initially, while is getting challenging and somehow my small brain make me fail at each new puzzle and I am also failing previous puzzle as well for the burning situation I am facing with which makes me so stressed and failed to finish the game ;( But this is fun indeed! Great Job!
