Good game and idea, but i dont understand the consecuences of the answers and if its a way to loose or win. Anyways good idea and music!
The game is playing itself right now as I type this, I have ignored every question thus far, and nothing has happened. I'm confused, is this a game, or a looping list of strings with choices that do nothing?
Harsh I know, but that's the experience I had.
Love me some narrative games.
Same with the above, I'm not super sure if there are actually any bad choices? I just picked what felt right and never really got into any trouble. It would have been nice to see more consequences or have a better understanding of the impact of my choices.
The 10s pacing is very on-theme but feels like it just slows the game down; making me hesitant to play again to experiment more. If there was more data to consider or more choices to pick from, I might feel more time pressure.
Nice work!
Very well written, Good job!
Nice writing, I feel it's a bit easy to win. But anyway, cool entry.
Well written but it feels a bit repetitive... Only 1 music, no sound design and the text appearing can be a little bit slow :3
Brief, but the space captain experience was nice (I love me some star wars and star trek), music went hard. Ending made me shed a tear, great job.
The writing feels good, and I like the UI. Would have been good to see what the consequences of my actions were.
that was a lot of fun, cool story, a lot of potential :) i always was happy to meet the couple again and follow their story :)
It's a really nice game with a very melancholy ending. I love the little details like the couple getting married, and the cat mashing the keyboard.
I definitely didn't expect the end of the game to be the captain dying of old age. Really nice storytelling!
Nice job! As it is now, while you are told there will be consequences, their weight is never really felt, and making choices gets repetitive. With some kind of visual of the interior that updates based on the action, the time will go by quicker, and the actions have weight. Keep it up!
Very interesting concept! I like it! Nice job, you guys!
Like others were saying, most of the choices I made didn't feel like they really had much in the way of consequences. Maybe if the fight with the space pirates was a little longer. A lot of the consequential choices had really obvious dummy answers like the choice between "ambush them in the main hall" and "don't worry, they're just pirates". That's not really a decision because It's too apparent which one is the wrong choice. The writing was good though and I enjoyed playing.
nice, apparently i was a good captain loved by his crew (maybe because i accepted the celebration day 1 year after our departure)! interesting concept, i haven't seen many games like this in LD51! the UI is quite simple but clear and good. i liked the humorous text lines!
Great use of the theme. 10 secs to do a decision it's not always easy !
This entry is decent but i would be worried about alientating people who can't read quickly. Outside of the possible accesability concerns, the game didnt seem to go anywhere. I answered what felt like 100 prompts and nothing ever seemed to matter. Eventually i stopped because i was worried it was just programatically giving my questions forever
Lovely game man. Very fun dialogue and interaction with the A.I. I love how in the beginning the A.I. pretty much ignores everything you ask. :D Nice bgm too. Well done. Great entry. Had a lot of fun playing it.
