LD46 — Keep it alive

Keep Hope Alive by joe40001 2020-05-12T20:53:33Z

Hey thanks for playing my game, i figured i would try to get a review in for yours before the deadline! I liked the game a lot but, like others have said, its difficult. Perhaps thats analogous for real life ;) If you're in the Green Zone its very easy to stay there, and if you're in the Red its very hard to get out. Cool concept! I dont really have any feedback because it seems like the game servers its purpose but perhaps make it a bit easier to transition by reducing how quickly you get exhausted.

Bait by Jcourt 2020-04-23T08:22:08Z

Im surprised by how many levels there were, great game! As others have pointed out, it might be useful to make sure you can clip through monsters because being pinned was too much downtime. A lot of the traps were also designed to kill the enemies that spawned in the room perfectly so i actually didn't have to do anything at all... But thats just little stuff, all-in-all great submission!

Is it wrong to feed haterz to my plants? by khaotom 2020-04-29T08:58:24Z

Thanks for checking out my game! We both used Construct 3 for our submissions, very cool. It's mostly Unity from what i've seen :D I had a hard time figuring out what to do in your game, i was just spam clicking on everything because i didn't know what to do, maybe implement some kind of tutorial or start the game off slow.

Meatball VS Gymzilla by davision 2020-04-21T20:26:07Z

Looooove this game, possibly one of my favorite game so far. My only complaint is it's not long enough :D

Keep the princess... Alive by Vivoubos 2020-04-23T08:08:15Z

The animations and sounds were a little weird but since its a compo game its not bad at all! I think maybe further reach on the spear would make more sense because it was very difficult to not take damage while trying to attack the enemies.

Aqua Vitae by zimennik 2020-04-21T23:11:05Z

As someone who grey up in Russia, all of the scenery and the entire game was eerily familiar! Loved the game, didn't hurt to have one of the developers in my stream helping me play it, but i think i would've got the hang of it, fairly easy! Great job guys

Apple Factory of the Insatiable by nanolotl 2020-04-29T08:20:05Z

Loved the game! You did a great job on all the details including even the Icon for the executable! Very nice touch! I played until the slug phase but coulndt get past it, turns out i had not nearly enough energy cards in my deck. If wouldve been nice to see some of the lower tier cards in the rotation at the end game because "Battery" is actually really good!

The Other Maple Story by Kyle Farwell 2020-04-21T22:46:41Z

Welp it was a little bit frustrating to play, i had no idea how to pick up items at first, and then i realised i already managed the pick them up :P I can't tell if the lack of friction is because you're simulating ice or just an oversight, made it harder than it needs to be to control the character. The game also closed entirely everytime you lost, made it hard to stream playing it. Loved the Canadian stuff in it though, like timbits, great touch!

Torcher by Evergreen Games 2020-04-21T07:41:16Z

Love the game! Im a huge fan when people can make necessarily video game elements like checkpoints also make sense within the world. Unfortunately i got stuck at the second wick, i couldn't jump high enough to light it. Very good game tho

Tomb Flamer by AfroAnt 2020-04-21T07:17:10Z

Loved the tutorial. Loved the game! It was sooooo satisfying to light a chain of cobwebs on fire. Couldn't figure out how to beat the boss though :( That might just be user error haha

Prototype Towers by marbles 2020-04-21T06:22:49Z

Really hard to get past round 4 in my opinion, might just be user error haha, im not very good at those button sequences. Perhaps they could be 1 button shorter. Also i found myself re-launching the game after my last tower since there was no way to restart. Great game though, i enjoyed playing it.

Millenia Fall by Roberto Romao 2020-04-21T05:30:50Z

I spammed the build army button and that's about it. Couldn't figure out what else to do other than consuming the planet. Perhaps a little bit of guidance could go a long way. Or maybe its just user error :((

Keep It Alive by SimonRhys 2020-04-25T20:12:46Z

The games not bad but it's pretty hard to stream playing it on Twitch since it fully closes every time you die. You might want to make a credits screen or just restart the game next time :) I liked the idea that the platforming is randomized!

He Protec by ildfuglen 2020-04-29T06:41:11Z

Love the concept and the execution! The graphics, audio, everything was on point. It was perhaps too easy because i didn't need to actually see the assailant i can just listen for the audio queue, maybe turn off that prompt for a hardmode :P Great work tho!

Hungry Monster by JOrbits 2020-04-22T19:48:55Z

Got to about 400+ before i stopped but it was fun to see the progression of starting with 1 and ending up with enough to flood the screen and ignore the platforms. Very satisfying :)

twisty shooty by chromableedstudios 2020-04-21T06:37:04Z

Reeeealy hard to aim in my opinion especially because i couldn't tell which way i was facing. Pretty nice game though!

Shadow of the Elm by Plasmonic 2020-04-29T09:05:13Z

Thanks for playing my game! I managed to check out yours as well here's some feedback : 1. The spikes were hard to see at first 2. For a game about "Keep it Alive" it felt weird to be able to die as much as i want 3. Sometimes i fell thru the floor but i managed to get out pretty easily

Overall, great game!

Keep Your Town Alive! by CodeChomper 2020-04-21T21:24:51Z

Ayy! This is really similar to my game, i love it! My only complaint is the movement scheme, it was hard to get used to but i still enjoyed my experience :)

Abidance by Kriss 2020-04-29T10:21:35Z

Thanks for playing my game! It was a pleasure playing yours, the shadow monster was very well done and the sounds were brillaint. This is one of the only game jam games that actually has a real win condition and i felt like the difficulty was tuned perfectly for players like me. I didn't have to stress too much but i also couldn't be idle. Very well done! (Also highest Audio score i've given so far out of over 100 submissions)

Keep It (restaurant and baby) alive by Nutriz 2020-04-21T22:52:30Z

The concept was nice but i didn't manage to do anything before i lost. Way too many customers and the tutorials kept getting in the way. Also my baby was falling out of it's crib every 5 seconds causing a never-ending alarm

Etiolation by ankou 2020-04-22T00:10:36Z

One of the most polished games i've played in the game jam so far! Perhaps you can adjust the hit box on the spikes a little bit but i managed to jump past them with a little bit of practice. Overall, fantastic!

OVERHOSPITALIZED by Stacka 2020-04-22T22:06:42Z

I liked it, was fun to play but a bit too stressful for my taste. I don't see where you can improve much outside of maybe adding music and upgrades for your character that appear (faster movespeed, making the medicine not expire, etc)

Robositter Infernal by Phlip45 2020-04-25T20:42:15Z

Considering this was a COMPO game, its very well done! I love games that indulge the player and let them place or build a ton of turrets. We need more games that let you go 'all out' instead of limiting the player in a dozen different ways. Also this is one of the few games out of the dozens i've played so far that actually has a win condition, kudos for that!

Oak Defenders by Hugimugi7 2020-04-23T19:37:33Z

Top 5 jam entries so far! Loved playing it, the only two improvements i could think of is 1. Add a tooltip to tell me that i can triple jump since i had no idea until the Dev mentioned it in Twitch Chat. 2. Make the items that air units drop, fall to the ground. Overall, excellent execution and game :D

Cloudy With A Chance Of Pain by ProdigalSon 2020-04-23T19:44:33Z

Great game! Perhaps it would've been a little bit less confusing if you put the control scheme or a quick guide in the game somewhere because i missed the text on the LD page. Perhaps powerups or different levels would be good but i understand the time crunch doesn't allow for bigger scale stuff sometimes. :D

P4R3NTing 101 by AndideBob 2020-04-29T09:26:12Z

Great game! I managed to get to the end but got a very bad grade because i had not enough time to clean all of my garbage. One area you could improve is perhaps making it either impossible to throw out a diaper or make it Game Over when you throw out a diaper, without the second diaper it would be very difficult :P

The Most Simple Farm by RIBOUT Horace 2020-04-22T19:31:21Z

Short and sweet, a breath of fresh air for those of us playing dozens of LD games. After one failed attempt i managed to become a seed entrepreneur capping out at 33 seeds per growth. Obviously it could be improved by adding more content, like buying another chicken or something but still a very good submission nonetheless.

Edit: Saw it was made in 3 hours, with that in mind it has a lot of content haha

Keep Joe Alive by Sanguis 2020-04-25T20:16:53Z

Hello hello! I loved your game, i think it's strong points are its art for sure. Just a heads up, im sure it's already been mentioned above, but theres nothing stopping me from jamming all of the buttons to proceed without ever looking at my screen. Another issue is that i don't really know what i'm dodging in some of these cases, it just said to press A, which forces me to stare at the prompts instead of the environment.

Grow or Die by The Triumvirate 2020-04-21T22:03:59Z

Very nice game! Love and Hate the blinds in this one. :P

Unidentified Farming Object by synoxgames 2020-04-29T07:50:55Z

Great game! Fun to play but even on 'Normal' it's pretty unforgiving haha. The Alien was changing his mind about food very often and the plants needed to be watered too often to :P Overall pretty good though, just needs some timing tweeks

Get the Barky Started by Sibi 2020-04-21T21:35:15Z

Loved the game! Round 3 is very unforgiving haha so many people to keep track of :) No complaints about it from a game dev perspective though :)

Ballad of the Bard by Filip Bergkvist 2020-04-23T20:17:07Z

I loved the game! Very relaxing and it's nice to see music used in a creative way. A small piece of improvement, perhaps don't let the twigs fall to a place where they're almost entirely obstructed by terrain, it was hard to see them and click on them. Verrry good entry though, it's in my top 5!

Overly Fragile Relationships by vilix64 2020-04-29T07:05:52Z

Very nice! I can't really find anything to give your constructive feedback about, it was solid all around! That being said, i only got to week 8 haha

Maybe a small tune up to include a turotial for the UI, at first i didn't know i was inviting multiple people when i clicked on multiple people before clicking an activity. Perhaps just make it more clear i've selected people, like drawing their avatar under all the activities and having an animated selector sprite around their avatars on the left :)

Keep it Fire by Mykola 2020-04-22T20:55:52Z

One of the only game in LD that i've actually beat, thats a good thing. Its nice to play a game that is possible to beat on your first try for a change. Good submission apart from the things some of the other people already mentioned, clipping and collision, etc.

Lively by CJGladback 2020-04-25T21:12:27Z

I liked the art! Can't wait to see what you do next time around, hopefully in October :)

Dodo - A Dodo Game by theforceluke 2020-04-21T22:36:48Z

Verrrry good job guys!~ I've never played a game with controls like this before so i enjoyed it a lot. Didn't bother getting all the eggs though, it was enough trouble getting the dodo's to the finish line haha

Gravelighter by radow 2020-04-25T20:31:36Z

Played the game, got as far as the angel statues but couldn't figure out which orientation i needed to turn that third one and i died. I was expecting jump scares or people to run around in the background so perhaps maybe some of that could help increase the eeriness of the game :P Decent submission for sure, great work on all the menu options, i know that can take a lot of time sometimes :)

VampySitter by MacDoom 2020-04-21T05:08:10Z

Amazing! My favorite thing is using the cross haha the vampy has such a startled expression and the sounds are fantastic

TIME TO BREATHE by Dmitry Kaidash 2020-04-21T07:08:35Z

Loved the game, wish there was a little bit more to do. Would love if i could shoot with Mouse1 directly instead of targeting enemies and waiting for my guy to shoot. That being said, one of the highest rated games i've played so far on ld46 (and im 18 games deep)

Keep it afloat! by Maka 2020-04-29T08:41:49Z

Loved it~! I've never actually played a game like this before so it was a good time! I don't have any feedback that can be used to improve your game, if i think of something i'll circle back to this comment section and add it :)

Noble by SludgeKey 2020-04-22T20:46:53Z

Reeeally like this game! It could be even better if there was something else to do other than match up couples, like some kind of Faction-Based stat or something, or maybe resource accumulation.

Lethal Shepard by n00b 2020-04-21T05:59:52Z

It could be a lot better if you could face in at least 4 directions. Also, the green hurt my eyes a bit haha. Fun little game though!

Honeycomb Empire by Axeliz 2020-04-23T19:21:21Z

I am officially deciding this is my favorite game of the jam and i'm 70ish games in. Loooooved it! Im ashamed to say i didn't beat it on either playthrough but i would love to play it again.

Just a heads up, some of the numbers become hard to read when the buildings are upgraded because UI elements cover them up. Everything seems to be working like a charm tho!

Rememberance by Enya454 2020-04-21T05:56:10Z

Love the cutscene art and the general vibe. This is the first LD game i actually beat, so huge kudos for making something so playable :)

Flame Keeper by SnowToast 2020-04-22T00:00:35Z

Very nice entry! I got halfway through level 3 before calling it quits. Definitely a game i could play for hours if i didnt have so many other jam submissions to try. I'll make my way back to this one once i have the time. All around great game

The Burning Dark by BatJak03 2020-04-21T07:33:27Z

Pretty cool game, i was able to make my campfire into a super nova relatively quickly. Doesn't seem to be anything out there in the wildness but i loved the ambience :D

Metagame by itsonrandom 2020-04-23T08:12:49Z

Probably the best example of "Keep ____ Alive" ive seen so far. Its without a doubt fitting the category. However the game is a little bit brutal because the enemies start moving very quickly, before i even placed my objective. Perhaps it can be toned down a little by at least not allowing enemies to spawn before an objective is placed. (And for balance purposes, not allowing the player to build walls until the objective is placed either). Great game tho!

Overwatch by rkhadder 2020-04-22T21:36:03Z

Not bad at all! I was surprised after level 2 that it was the end, but fair enough there wasn't a lot of time to make more content, its a problem i ran into as well. It would've nice if the clicking on the cameras moved my point of view instead of illuminating the area around the camera, but hey, nice game overall.

The Scary Job by Mikabrytu 2020-04-29T10:00:05Z

Thanks for checking out my game! I managed to play yours as well :) It has very luigi's mansion vibes (this is coming from someone who's never played Luigi's Mansion). Here's some feedback :m: 1. it was difficult to know where to go, i spent a few minutes between each objective before finding it. 2. i know you wrote to avoid the ghost and i saw my BPM's going up but i wasn't exactly sure which way to go to avoid it or where it even was.

Overall, good submission! Would love to check out any further games you do too, the art and sound for this one was very well done

Sweet Resurrection by James Shipp 2020-04-25T21:53:22Z

I liked the game, however it didn't pose any challenge. I suppose the recipes you could get wrong, but the wiring portion you can just flick every switch until you right combo, no penalty. So maybe next time look into punishing the player for doing the wrong moves, that'll 'up' the challenge and therefore 'up' the fun. Overall, the art, music and graphics were solid. No glaring issues there

Silicon Soldiers by Hueson 2020-04-29T08:50:06Z

Thanks for reviewing my game! I loved your game, the art and graphics were great! Heres some feedback : 1. Dead silicon harvesters block projectiles, maybe unintentional? 2. The art for the shooting was very pronounced, maybe spruce up the shots so they're easier to see on screen

Otherwise its very good!

Hack'n Dice by Fluffy_Kaeloky 2020-04-21T23:33:58Z

Loved it! Couldn't get past what i think is the last round? The one where you fight clones of yourself. I like the combination of RNG and Player Actions :D

Heartful Defense by Nelson William 2020-04-29T08:33:07Z

Loved the game! Could only get to Wave 11 after three tries haha. Perhaps it would be more fun if your cards got randomized after every battle? I had some cards in my hand that i didnt use at all for the entire duration of the game. Also, im not sure how, but the wall card needs to be improved. Usually, using that card caused me entire defense to be rendered obsolete. Perhaps visualizing how the path will change before i use the card? Not sure. :S

Star Keeper (Ludum Dare 46) by Cobear25 2020-04-23T20:56:32Z

Considering it's a compo game i think it was VERY good! I'm not entirely sure if it's possible to lose, maybe im too good haha but some kind of indicator that i'm close to losing would've been a welcome addition. You may also want to look into your grabby arm, it was sometimes not clear why the arm wasn't grabbing the star, perhaps it's just user error. Great game sir!

Star Keeper (Ludum Dare 46) by Cobear25 2020-04-23T21:05:14Z

@cobear25 Ohhhh i was putting the hand beyond the star and letting it retract into the star

Blood and Snow by Mika la Grand 2020-04-22T20:39:38Z

I liked the game, i finished off my playthrough by killing Emily, nice touch haha :P My only problem with the game is the LACK OF BLOOD, afterall it's called Blood and Snow and there was no blood as far as i could tell haha

The Bronze Knight by rrmTV 2020-04-21T09:17:16Z

I liked it! Especially the art, its very well done. The tutorial was a really nice touch because without it i would've been lost. One bit of feedback is allowing me to exit to main menu while in game to review the controls and maybe changing the font in the controls screen to be more read-able. Otherwise, great game!

Frozen Skies by ThorPalsson 2020-04-29T07:32:32Z

I really liked the game! Good job! My feedback is :

1. The character feels a bit too slow, i don't know if buying the boots would increase him but still! 2. I soft locked the game because i spent too much wood on upgrades and the fire and had no trees left to cut, perhaps add a system where some trees grow back eventually? 3. I didn't know that the helmet was going to provide light until i saw the comments on this page, maybe a little bit more clarity there!

Still a great game, i spent a long time playing it :D

KEEP THE PARTY ALIVE BABY by Taximan981 2020-04-22T00:19:48Z

Nice entry! Loved the voice acting. It got a little confusing when the icon for pizza appeared but all i had was beer but i figured it out eventually. Also, the UI was being cropped off my screen, but that could be just user error haha

Solar by thevinter 2020-04-21T21:04:16Z

Pretty cool, could use a little of variety in terms of upgrades or enemies but i had fun! :)

The Wizard Gardener by Crazybot 2020-04-22T20:03:46Z

Loved it! Although i couldn't get the last three apples stuck in the tree. Aww well im sure i was just doing something wrong. I loved the glow the oranges had :D Great submission

Ice Light by ThornDuck 2020-04-29T10:30:33Z

Great game! It was nice and short but the art and sound were very well done. Here's a little bit of feedback : 1. Maybe have two different type of button art, one for buttons that require constant weight and the other for toggle. All the buttons looked the same so i didn't know which type they were. 2. Perhaps increase the visibility a litttttle bit? I had trouble seeing what was ahead of me, but i guess that was the general vibe. The last puzzle was tricky because i couldnt see both doors or buttons at the same time due to darkness.

Baby Shooting by oddarock 2020-04-22T21:52:13Z

Very good, it would've been nice to color code the yellow dinos in the first couple of levels so i can easily remember what order they are switched to. I like the variation in monster type aswell :)

Carry The Torch by Shadowmyst 2020-04-21T05:18:32Z

Not bad, could use some sounds and maybe a cleaner UX/UI. Took me longer than i'm willing to admit to figure out how to progress (i used SpaceBar, not sure thats the right way).

Alive, Alone by Eamon Kane 2020-04-21T07:10:15Z

I couldn't run the game i got the error : "There should be 'AliveAlone_Data' folder next to the executable"

Zima by Stefan0198 2020-04-21T23:51:22Z

Not bad at all! Took me a while to figure out how to eat but that's because i wasn't exploring the room as much as i should have. Perhaps put some stuff on the table like a plate or some cutlery :) Had a good time though, as a Russian myself

Ark Survive by Pusheeneiro 2020-04-23T20:36:25Z

Not bad at all! It was sort of frustrating for me because it felt like i had no control over the game. I just clicked text boxes and random things would happen to me. Perhaps get rid of the random element so that the player can actually impact the game's systems in any way? I loved the text on the cards though, verrrrrry surreal

Hungy Hungy Dwagons by cheesepencil 2020-04-23T20:06:52Z

Great entry! I loved that you did voice effects and charging the fireball felt very rewarding. It was missing some game elements, like score or any kind of progression but i know its hard to make bigger scale stuff in the time allotted. Not bad at all

Sheep Wrangler by Elmos Minion 2020-04-21T05:09:17Z

Tried to play. Broken link as someone else already pointed out. Shame, hopefully i get around to coming back! So many games to play, looks fun tho!

Mr Ficus by KreGames 2020-04-21T07:01:36Z

Loved the game, had no idea how to water the plant though :( Seems pretty cool to operate the entire game by sliding a window though :)

Only One More by Physiker2001 2020-04-29T10:06:58Z

Hey, thanks for checking my game! Your submission was not bad at all, especially considering it was compo! I liked how you gave me time to familiarize myself before starting the customers. Perhaps you can improve on the friction for the character, if felt like i was sliding around all over the bar. Another place you can improve is the drinks, i wasn't sure exactly how to fill up my drinks. I knew i had to put the cup in the area but sometimes it didn't work. So perhaps you can use slots and have the drinks snap into the slot if placed correctly. :)

The Night Of The BEAST by Fer9001 2020-04-23T20:42:34Z

Decent game! I would recommend adding some sort of progression. Allow the player to feel like they're accomplishing something or becoming more powerful in some way. I was collecting corpses for the monster but i wasn't getting rewarded with new game mechanics or more powerful versions of existing mechanics. I was asking myself "why am i doing this" the entire time i was playing.

Alien Convoy by Willian Oliva 2020-04-25T21:19:43Z

I liked the game a lot. I almost made it to the end but its kind of hard keeping the truck alive when theres no way to repair it or shield it from damage. The art, sounds and gameplay are all solid, not glaring problems. There was a little of graphics artifacts floating around my screen but that might just be on my end, im not sure. Great game!

Program has stopped working by Alexander Wayne 2020-04-25T22:16:40Z

Not bad at all. It might just be me, but i was slightly confused as to why i was shooting behind me. I loooooved making patterns on the black screen. Another tip : make the cursor health more easily readable or tie it together with the PC health. :) Thanks for the submission, good stuff!

> keep typing! by Yolziii 2020-04-21T05:42:01Z

I liked it a lot, especially the chat bot. I was thinking this game was going to be about typing non-stop really fast like a typeracer, but this adventure game is good too! :)

Shelter the Flame by Frozen Spirit 2020-04-21T06:35:03Z

Not bad at all, i managed to get to 75. Not a whole lot of content but i loved the game!

PARENTHOOD by LanaLux 2020-04-22T19:25:36Z

Loved the game, the atmosphere was very creepy but it suited it well :) Great Job

Magic Valley by SpicyPaper 2020-04-22T20:19:37Z

Web build didn't work on Chrome for me either, I downloaded the game instead. Works ok, has massive FPS drops sometimes tho. A suggestion for improving the gameplay would be to allow the player to shoot where his mouse is pointing, it was difficult to keep up with the enemy AND shoot at them with your current controls. Decent game tho!

Flower Defense by yokuday 2020-04-21T20:17:05Z

Great tower defense game! Wish the basic turrets were a little bit more useful, perhaps shooting in a directional cone instead of straight line. Loved playing it though, great art!

Pirabbit by TimeTravelHamster 2020-04-29T08:52:55Z

Thanks for playing my game! I checked yours out too, i loved it! It actually has surprising level of complexity for a game with only 1 button. Loved the art and music as well :)

The lich feast by geroblacksmith 2020-04-21T20:55:16Z

There is a bug that allows the game to go on forever. Despite that i loved playing it, a good concept and it makes sense with the theme :D Good job guys!

Life-Line by Thiago Nascimento 2020-04-29T06:59:58Z

I dont typically like horror games because i don't being stressed out this much haha. Great game! It was scary but fair. I couldnt really play past 1/5 eggs because my cameras were all getting knocked out and i cant stomach the idea of walking around out there without cameras haha. Solid game! Perhaps make the amount of objectives you need fewer or make a way to slow the monster down or distract him...

Goldsmith by Nocity 2020-04-21T21:57:04Z

In my top top top games that i've played! It doesnt hurt that i'm a goldsmith in real life. Love it

Whisper of the Flame by Zachary Rodrigue 2020-04-29T07:39:09Z

Not bad at all! Wish there was more to it, i think i beat the game in 3 minutes give or take. Didn't die once. I guess what i'm saying is there wasn't much of a challenge. Perhaps add some moving platforms and puzzles or just make more levels! :) Also maybe make it clear somewheere that you can't attack because i thought i was supposed to fight those water slimes, it didn't look like there was a way around them for some of them :P

Lights Out by Chance Slaughter 2020-04-25T22:02:30Z

I can tell that you must've tested this a lot because all of the economics seem very balanced. I like how the turret cost is scaled up based on the amount of turrets you have. That is usually the problem in games like these, allowing the player to flood the map with turrets removes the need for the player to do anything. Very well balanced, the art and music/SFX are good too! Solid entry!

Keep the party alive by Daniil Tcyvakin 2020-04-29T07:44:00Z

Couldn't really figure out how to play :(

to Leave by 5imon 2020-04-29T06:32:25Z

Had no idea what to do until after i rated the game and scrolled down to the bottom of the comments where the dev explained it. :( Perhaps adding a tutorial in game, even a text box with the rules would've been really useful. I love the sound and the art tho! thats very well done

Lawn of the dead by The Tuna Identity 2020-04-23T20:26:43Z

No link to the game :(

Grasp by SamDemaine 2020-04-21T21:47:28Z

One of the only games of the jam that i actually to the end! Loved it, the music was good, ambiance was good. Slight issues bumping my head when i jump but other than that, smoooooooth sailing!

ChargeMe by WMute 2020-04-29T09:44:40Z

Hey there! Thanks for checking out my game, i managed to play yours as well :D I had a good time trying to balance Atlas and P-Body's charges but it proved too difficult for me in the end. I wish there was a way that P-Body could transfer charge to Atlas after the first little tutorial

Last keeper by Tatyana 2020-04-21T06:06:35Z

Great game! i got a score of 456. It gets very difficult. I love the art, the sounds, everything fits nice.

The Hunger by Sulo 2020-04-21T07:28:33Z

I couldn't figure out how to attack the guys so i could bring them to my plant. Originally i thought you had to push live people in there :P Aww well, nice game though!

By Lantern's Light by Chez3 2020-04-21T23:18:02Z

Not bad! The character is too low on the screen and that bothered me a bit. Overall pretty cool, gave it a lot of attempts but those water pumps are a killer :P

Bullets & Babies by David Bohan 2020-04-29T09:50:37Z

Thanks for checking out my game! I managed to play yours as well, great job! I really liked that instead of health you have a baby, so when the player gets shot, the baby falls on the floor and you have to pick it up. I felt that the screen scrolled a little bit too slow at times, but overall very solid submission!

Dwindling Kindle by Xarlasar 2020-04-21T22:13:24Z

Loooooved it! You put so much work into every aspect! Nothing bad i can say :D

Dwindling Kindle by Xarlasar 2020-04-21T22:13:47Z

(also i managed to get to about 100 seconds i believe)

A tale of Rebirthism by Pomo 2020-04-23T02:11:54Z

Very nice game, i enjoyed it! I'm going to leave a review without reading what other people have said so you can see if something is echoing.

What i would've liked is to bind each eyeball color to a different button instead of scrolling through them. For example J is red K is green and so on. Another thing that would be cool is powerups that drop that maybe increase fire rate or rotating rate or something.

That being said, it's still a great game, good work!

Rough Ship by WobbleBlocks 2020-04-22T20:26:38Z

Great game but its very hard for new players. The attacks start right away and theres no easy way to navigate the ship. A minimap and easing off the attacks at the beginning would be helpful, as well as tooltips on interactable objects indicating that they can be interacted with.

Dungeon Farmer by TheQiwiBoy 2020-04-29T06:48:35Z

Not a bad game at all! Very cool first submission :) I actually managed to stay alive forever just by spinning my sword around in circles forever, i can't quite figure out a way to stop players from doing that, perhaps an explosive barrel or something that you dont actually want to hit? Anyway, very cool game :D

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-21T06:10:59Z

@ssh-randy and @billehbawb i ran into that issue when testing, i think it had something to do with how quickly i ran the game after i extracted or something. I closed Windows Explorer and re-opened it, worked like a charm. I'll investigate the issues. Maybe i have to upload a win32 and a win64 version

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-21T06:25:52Z

@olafstromberg Oh thats a good point! I completely forgot people using controllers can't navigate the menu. Damn! perhaps i'll update that feature after the jam :)

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-21T06:50:24Z

I have updated the downloadable zips. There should be no further black screen issues. Just in case : it might be better to download the one that corresponds to your operating system :) Let me know if there are any more issues

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-21T23:52:58Z

@lvl76blastoise Thanks for your suggestions :) There actually is background music perhaps you put the volume slider too low. You can go to the MAIN MENU and adjust the volume then press LOAD GAME to continue. Cheers!

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-22T11:34:48Z

Thanks for the feedback! @physiker2001 I think i fixed the black screen forever now. Only one can hope!

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-22T19:11:17Z

@thanks @skeletor and @noamraz :)

For the issue you described @skeletor , the game only saves when you complete a round i believe, to prevent soft locking a save. :) But i definitely see how what you experienced would be frustrating. Next time i'll add a confirmation for leaving the menu.

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-22T21:29:40Z

DID A SMALL UPDATE TO FIX THE SOUND ISSUE PEOPLE WERE HAVING. THANKS FOR THE FEEDBACK GUYS

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-23T05:36:15Z

@shaolin-dave oh yeah? I dont have a MAC computer to test it on, i figured i might as well upload export it using all of the options and hope they all work the same as the windows one. In non-jam environments i would've been able to ask someone to test it to for me :P Thats my bad

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-23T07:50:44Z

@mika-la-grand Hmmm, thats very wise. We were battling with different models, unlocking everything at tier 1 at first or keeping everything locked in the beginning but then it introduced a lot of potential to soft lock if the player bought the wrong thing. There's definitely a better way to do it than the way we did it but it was very rushed :P Thanks for your feed back! and thanks for checking it out

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-23T08:41:22Z

@shaolin-dave I tried uploading a new version of the MAC build to itchio. Perhaps that one will work, if that one doesnt work then i'll have to tackle it another time.

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-24T01:14:43Z

@vivoubos @drums @adonisdevs thank you very much for playing and i love to hear the good feedback we spent a lot of time thinking and working on it :id:

I'll add your score to the list @adonisdevs, check Itchio

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-24T20:30:23Z

@xitaro Yes many users reporting the same problem, i can't find the source. I think it has something to do with the audio not being loaded at the start despite being asked to play. Opening and closing the game a few times seems to fix it for some reason.

@attala Thanks for your feedback! Glad you enjoyed it:)

@vertuga32 Yeah we were hoping to add more complexity but ran out of time. Thats what the bread and cheese machines were for. They were going to require other raw ingredients to function.

@gorypixels Thanks so much!

@mykola Yeah we're aware of the issues but unsure how to fix, it requires A LOT of A-B testing. As for complexity we planned to utilize a multi-step crafting system where you have to make milk into cheese and wheat into bread before you can use it but we ran out of time to implement and test all of that. I think we just got too ambitious with the variety of recipes and should've focused on complexity first. I actually find the game pretty boring myself, unfortunately. For the next jam we'll have different priorities :) Thanks for your feedback

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-27T04:44:33Z

@david-bohan @savvu Thank you very much for the kind words!

@team-on You can start a new game relatively easily by clicking Main Menu and clicking New Game to get the tutorial again. But i can see how it might be hard to figure out since we heavily rely on people being familiar with games like Overcooked and Stardew Valley

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-29T05:49:53Z

@eduardogacn @jin9310 @geroblacksmith thanks for your feedback :D I'm glad you enjoyed it

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-04-30T20:27:46Z

@akitl Thanks for the feedback! Perhaps in V2.0

@fabula-rasa Thanks so much for playing! I added your highschool to the list. We'll figure out something to spice up the game loop a little bit and re-release it as V2.0 after the jam!

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-05-03T05:42:14Z

@thiago-nascimento Thanks! haha i passed along the comment to him

@rhiz Yeah you make an interesting point, we wanted to make compound recipes with the cheese and milk but we ran out of time. Currently you get less and less bonus time each round, so every player is destined to fail eventually. The true test is how many food items can you hand in before the timer runs out.

Version 2 actually has a real win condition and some external forces acting upon the player as well so that should spice it up. We're making V2.0 to celebrate 100 downloads and putting all of the Ludum Dare commentators in the credits as well. That'll be published after LD46 is over.

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-05-04T17:21:08Z

@andidebob Thank you very much! We managed to get to the bottom of the black screen, it was related to multi-threading. In the post-LD version and any future games we will stick to the mainthread until multithreading has been worked out :)

Keep Dano Alive by Blue Pin Studio 2020-05-12T20:45:02Z

@nelson-william Thanks so much for playing! Yeah perhaps we went a little overboard with the echo effect

@joe40001 Wow! Thanks so much for playing and thanks for the video, its always good to see and hear playtesters. :)

Live for Money - A Pixel Art Economic Simulation/Resource Management Game by GND95 2020-04-23T08:04:35Z

Uhhh this was really hard and not that fun to be honest. I had to spend so much time trying to collect water and it seemed to have no point because it only gave my tree 1 level and if i tried to collect more, the tree went back to 0 afterward... Maybe its just user error but this game is too hard for me.

Patty & the Cannon by hiisileiri 2020-04-21T05:11:40Z

Not a whole lot to do but not bad!

balloons by Mopkoo 2020-04-22T20:11:58Z

I couldn't really play it because i wasn't sure how to wrap my head around the '3D aspect of it' but it had nice art and sounds! It's probably just user error haha

Plant (Panic) by ETheBakeSmith 2020-04-22T20:32:49Z

Pretty cool game! The bugs are unforgiving, after their 3rd or 4th attack my plant didn't have enough health withstand the first 0.5s. Maybe let the plant regenerate health when it's at high water level? Had fun playing tho

Ludum Creare by Jon Topielski 2020-04-23T19:59:44Z

Amazing entry, loved playing it. Super polished feels like it could compete with FTL or Slay the Spire. I dont have any feedback, its all done well. Well actually you could segment the compiling loading bar into chunks so that you dont have to be suuuuper accurate to deal high damage.

Rift Defender by RK-17 2020-04-21T23:23:45Z

Not bad, music was very loud though, had to lower it with volume mixer. Something you might want to look into : the items that are dropped on the ground can kill enemies. :) Good submission

Drivin' Alive by bziarkowski 2020-04-23T08:29:16Z

This game kind of felt like a fever dream to me haha. At first i drank the beer and i couldnt continue playing like that at all, so i alt-f4'ed and restarted. Then i sort of understood that i needed to take care of this plant by watering it and BAM im thrown into a driving simulator with wacky physics. It might just be my fault but i don't understand whats happening in this game at all :( :(

Scrambl'd by StarErik 2020-04-25T21:46:05Z

Fantastic game! I was super frustrated with it almost the entire time. Perhaps its just personal preference getting in the way. You've managed to make, what feels like, a real gameboy game in only a few days. A little bit of variation in the music would've been nice, by the end of my playthrough it felt like the track was drilling into my head haha :P

The internet flower garden by -HelloLetsPlayers- 2020-04-21T06:13:45Z

I had no idea what to do unfortunately. I was stuck in a white room with a computer and it just made sounds and became corrupted. Pretty cool vibe tho! :)

Engineer of Utopia by Optigambit 2020-04-21T05:37:02Z

I was very confused by what to do but thats probably just user error. Maybe a few tooltips or instructions might be helpful. Looooove the sirens by the way, when i was losing at least i could feel it.

Mars Alone by h4kcr0o 2020-04-22T21:59:57Z

I was a lot in the beginning because i didn't know the pie-chart was my "Day" meter. It would be helpful if you made all the bars and energy the same color so i could more easily detect if something is low or high. Once i figured out how to play i got to day 6 pretty comfortably :) Good game

Guns N' Violets by Wallaby 2020-04-25T22:11:56Z

I like the game, i played the latest version so i'll judge based on that although i realize its probably not fair to judge, ehhh who cares. I think the monsters do tooooo much damage tooooo quickly, if one little zombie is at the flower for more than 1 second, im screwed! I'm not against some of the zombies being that fast but perhaps ease up at the beginning with some zombies that dont eat as fast :P Great submission though!

water it by monblu 2020-04-29T07:58:15Z

Not bad at all! I had fun playing :) The game is VERRRRY white, so reading the text boxes was hard because they are white font as well. Did you know you can actually get score before you finish reading all the signs and before enemies appear? :)

Viral by kokiriboots 2020-04-21T05:26:34Z

Not bad at all, kind of slow game play because the corona moves really slowly, especially that second level since the whole level has to be played as the corona.

We are Darkness by DeCarlos 2020-04-21T07:19:49Z

Couldn't play because i didnt have anyone to play with :P

Space Maze by nodice 2020-04-29T09:10:15Z

Hey thanks for checking my game, i managed to play yours as well! Kudos for using Construct, i used it too for my game. Theres mostly Unity on here so its refreshing! I was very confused by what to do in your game, or even which character i was in the game :P So perhaps a little tutorial would be good, but i saw its a Compo game so i was a bit more generous with the rating.

SaverTato by LebbyFoxx 2020-04-25T20:18:01Z

Sorry i cannot play this game because its an installer

Sandy Road by guksas 2020-04-21T20:35:27Z

Liked the game, could be improved very easily because the only faults are small things, like the color of the projectiles and the keymapping R to reset. Liked playing the game, couldn't get passed round 10ish but thats probably just user error oops :((

TweeTree by Rhiz 2020-04-29T08:02:57Z

I dont actually fully understand how this game is even possible from a dev perspective, very cool work! This is the first time i've heard of tweetcart games. I thought it had very good level of gameplay complexity for a game that is so compact, good work!

Snake 99 by TheConfusedCyborg 2020-04-22T19:52:31Z

Pretty cool, not quite sure how it worked with the theme or what else to do other than play snake. That might be just user error :(

Keep Him Alive by KeepingHimAlive 2020-04-29T09:54:38Z

Thanks for checking out my game! I managed to play yours as well, although i only kept him alive for just over 110seconds. Its very hard to actually stop him from eating something bad, and hard to predict which food item he will go for, but i loved the concept a lot! Great work!

Overthrone by Phibian 2020-04-22T21:43:05Z

Great game, very impressive for your first submission. There are a few bugs but they are all already mentioned above, keep it up!

VITAL 2020 by bflatinteractive 2020-04-21T21:19:33Z

Not bad at all, wish there was more to do other than wait and click the corresponding button but perhaps medicine can't get more interesting than that :P

Midnight Technician by BillehBawb 2020-04-21T20:46:34Z

Loved this game! Couldn't find any of the stars you mentioned in your credits but i did manage to last a really time before it got out of control! Love the game in general, one of the top ones i've played so far!

Keep Fe Chicken by ARBEX 2020-04-29T09:34:59Z

Thanks for checking out my game! I managed to play yours as well and im shocked by how polished it was! The game got progressively less and less fun for me because im not clever enough to figure out the puzzles. Nonetheless, it fits the genre well and i dont really have any areas you can improve. The tutorial levels were fantastic and the art/sound is great too!

Prince of Al Harrah by dmarku 2020-04-22T19:40:24Z

Nice game! Had a perfect way to teach the basics to the player without feeling like a tutorial :D

One Tough Flower by SophieMae0 2020-04-21T04:59:07Z

Had fun, nice little game :) Had a bit of trouble figuring out how to place the towers then realized theres mouse controls haha my bad. My favorite part are the sounds

Kaze No Kami by ssh.randy 2020-04-29T08:55:29Z

Thanks for checking out my game! I checked out yours as well, i liked it a lot! Would be nice if there was a way to win, perhaps burning all of the grass blocks? or maybe burning a specified amount of grass blocks? Very cool either way, felt smoooooooth

Keep Me Alive by Texz 2020-04-21T22:29:09Z

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

What Goes Around by Omiya Games 2020-10-11T01:47:49Z

Great submission, reminded me of the sonic levels where you have to collect rings while on a sphere like this. I like the twist that you can switch ship colors to get points, i wouldn't have known that unless i read the description on your page, perhaps consider adding a tutorial or something in game.

two tapes by Aurel300 2020-10-10T22:10:41Z

Very good game! Unfortunately i had to stop playing at the third room that required playing two different cassettes at the same time to unlock because it was too much for my puny mind to comprehend. Loved the entry! :)

a nice place by netmute 2020-10-06T19:30:26Z

Loved it! So peaceful. I liked the messaging about not being too hard on yourself, its an important one that i think a lot of devs can learn from. Great game

oddpum by dietzribi 2020-10-07T22:41:19Z

Very cool concept and well made! I would like to see more levels one day!

Liftman by gamechoy 2020-10-11T01:28:31Z

It was an ok submission, i was very confused the whole time. The only guy that survived was the guy who told me "RED" everyone else died. I think the hints were way too subtle. I didnt even know there was hints until the developer of the game told me in twitch chat

Twist Turn Shoot Burn by gamepopper 2020-10-06T18:45:18Z

I liked this submission a lot. Especially since it seemed every level was procedurally generated. The music was very good but perhaps it would be wise to default to audio to 50%. it blew out my eardrums :P

Dangled by ansoneh 2020-10-06T20:35:51Z

Fun submission! It was really hard though, perhaps the earlier levels could ease you into the concept

Toucan's Revenge by AfroAnt 2020-10-07T21:06:35Z

I really like the art and the riddles were well done as well, not too hard but I was stuck on a few of them which is good!

waveloop by radmars 2020-10-15T01:11:39Z

At first i didnt understand what was going on or what to do, but then i fell in love! such an amazing entry. I love how the different tracks play such an important role in the the overall sound. Its very cool that you had me go back to previous tracks and change them. Very good!

My only suggestion is to find a more graceful way to end the loop, when i only had 1 track left and i had to silence it, switching between the different tracks sounded very abrupt and kind of brought me out the immersion. Very good submission tho

CRISPR BOB by Sol Roo 2020-10-14T22:34:27Z

Well made puzzle game! The art and the audio were well done as well.

Stuck in a Loop (station) by erikiene 2020-10-11T00:39:05Z

Cool concept of solving the puzzles to create a beat. The music was really good as well, would love to see a more finished version with more puzzles. Could have also used a screen to signify that you beat it, an in game menu and a tutorial explaining what you are doing.

West by ursagames 2020-10-14T21:40:58Z

It was an okay game, could have used more of a story and progression.

The Cult of the Broken Clock by ectucker1 2020-10-06T21:00:27Z

I liked this game, it was one of the only jam games ive actually completed. Very cool concept, perhaps you could dmore with the art. When the play is defensive versus offensive the art style of the character could change or something like that. Obviously more progression would be good like a shop for upgrades :)

Dank Dungeon by jondalnas 2020-10-14T20:56:12Z

Well made dungeon crawler, could could have used a bit more variety in the enemies and weapons.

Ribbon by 100th_Coin 2020-10-15T04:41:11Z

This game was fantastic and the dev is fantastic too. He waited patiently while i played other games for half an hour and kept me company. He is playing over a hundred other jam games, he is game jam hero.

As for the game, seeing as how it's compo, im very impressed. You managed to make great art, complicated player controller AND music. One thing that i will remember for a long time with this game was the door opening and closing when you run past it. You made sure that the ribbon had an animated world within it, very good attention to detail.

You should definitely build more levels and release this on steam, i'll buy it for sure.

Eternal Voyage by Pluisjen 2020-10-06T18:11:47Z

Came to play the game, couldn't launch it.

Loading: The Game by Wakobu 2020-10-14T23:17:10Z

Fun little game, took a bit of time to get the timing right on everything but eventually was able to beat it! Could have used a little more enemy variety and some other levels.

Lights Out on Pluto by cad 2020-10-14T22:50:59Z

Nice concept for a game, I would have liked to see more uses for the mini map and for other things to interact with other than searching the bodies. The creature also got bugged out for me and wouldn't move around, attack or was able to be damaged.

Gorilla Taxi by Rongo Matane 2020-10-10T23:04:40Z

I liked the game a lot. Definitely in my top 5 so far. I dont know how much being off the road impacted the score but its fairly difficult to stay on the road. Overall, its just a hard game, not a bad game so i cant recommend anything for improving it because nothing wrong. One small thing i recommend is the NPC car's stopping behind you if you're stopped on the road instead of colliding with you.

Dude Ranch by ColeSlaughter 2020-10-15T05:46:12Z

This is a great jam submission. The gameplay was **very tight**. I can't really find any recommendations to make other than to add more content. Lack of content is understandable for a tight deadline. The sounds, the art, and the game loop felt fun. Perhaps you can prohibit the players from throwing a rope if they don't charge it enough to stop people from just running around spam clicking.

This submission disturbs me. In a good way.

The Magic Steak by chispaLBC 2020-10-06T19:10:22Z

There are a lot of improvements that could be made. The biggest culprit is the camera. Since the character moves so quickly the camera does too and it can cause some bad visual effects. Its hard to play the game for a long time for me, perhaps add a lerp to the camera or slow the whole game down a bit. The first 3 or 4 levels seemed identical so i had no idea if i was actually progressing or not

Pip's Journey by JemSmith 2020-10-14T23:41:58Z

Cool chess themed game! Once you figured out what you were doing it was cool and the interactions with the other pieces was done well. Could have used a bit of a tutorial to establish what your objective was.

BeatBoi by Delightfullymad 2020-10-10T23:50:16Z

Good submission! The first music track loops in a harsh way, you can tell exactly when it loops back around, perhaps look into that. Otherwise the game seems pretty good, no other suggestions i can make

Ping in the Loop by alejandrodlsp 2020-10-07T20:45:24Z

Cool game! It was an interesting concept and the art was well done. I wasn't sure what to do at the start so a tutorial would help out a lot and the game crashed when starting it up a couple of times.

Quivering by SandPile 2020-10-11T01:39:51Z

Very good submission, the only few problems i have with it are :

The respawn is too long

The music is too quiet

Roll 'em Up by BytingGames 2020-10-06T20:04:50Z

Decent submission. The first level didnt have any audio which was kind of strange. I expected the whole game to have no audio but level 2 and 3 did have music. I only managed to get to level 3 before becoming frustrated with the controls. Perhaps it would be a little more forgiving if you implemented "coyote time" that lets you jump even if you're one pixel off the ledge.

Mr Ballman by MrSchlag2 2020-10-14T23:07:13Z

Okay game but it was good for the theme! The audio was well done as well. I would have liked to have seen more enemies and levels, the control for the ball was a bit weird as well and it was a bit of a pain to balance between charging up and aiming.

INCORPORATION CORP. by Kilian BAPTENDIER 2020-10-06T18:33:22Z

Pretty good game! Perhaps a bit too frusrating for me since i kept getting bombarded by either zombies or furniture. I found that if you spammed space bar you could get away with deflecting most things without even thinking so perhaps make a cooldown or another system to stop you from doing that. I liked the music too, its a shame you didnt have any audio during the last cutscene

Phil Alone by Gabriel Dias Oliveira de Almeida 2020-10-10T23:13:39Z

The game was ok. I didnt really get passed day 1, i tried not doing some of the tasks that were recommended but the game never progressed. Im not sure how to progress at all. There were many spelling mistakes such as "get paint of the floor" and sometimes the watering sound effect played when i was doing something else. Even the art was glitchy, the painting that got hung up became a black line with a huge collision box.

Schrodinger and the Quantic Forest by Elrric 2020-10-06T20:40:59Z

im pretty sure i got stuck in the tutorial level. It told me to find a box and put it on the platform. I was using the green portal and it kept leading me to a version of the level with no platform.

Monotonous by Thesandgamer 2020-10-11T00:48:26Z

Hard to figure out exactly what you were doing and at times the game would not allow me to progress. For example once you started the coffee you couldn't place your cup under it.

Hyperloop by jmoocow2003 2020-10-15T03:37:01Z

Good submission, i liked it. The music got a little bit loud and repetitive but kudos for making your own music during compo. I feel like maybe there are too many materials to collect and it takes too long without any sort of progress in between. Basically its either you fix the engine or not, there are no milestones or upgrades. It lacks player progression

Speedrunner by Taco truck games 2020-10-15T00:45:00Z

Very cool idea for the game, it was a bit too zoomed in to tell exactly what was going on and where to go, especially on a short time limit. A reset current life option would have been helpful as well for when you mess up. Besides that it was well made!

My Hat by GuyUnger 2020-10-15T03:44:37Z

I rated this game 5/5 in every category. I have played 100 games so far in LD47 and this is by far my favorite. It was a little challenging, the clay was spectacular, the music was good, everything was good. The only problem is : i didnt know what to do in the beginning, perhaps add something to your game page or in-game that tells the player to "explore using your mouse." Otherwise perfect.

Among Me by Verbante 2020-10-14T22:43:03Z

Cool concept of a game and I really liked the art style! There really isn't that much to do once you figure out that you can just wait for all of your past selves to disappear and easily find the imposter.

Crash Thunderstud Returns by JavaSaurus 2020-10-10T21:59:28Z

Good game submission! The looping mechanic wasn't immediately clear to me when i launched the game because i didnt read the game description. In a jam scenario a lot of people skip over the description of the game since it usually has lore and other non-critical information, so perhaps look into making an ingame instructions. I found the vibration for the shooting was too intense, perhaps ease it down. Also it was strange that my character needed to reload even if he didnt shoot, it seems to be tied to how long i was holding down the loop. At the end, i realized it was easier to just hold down left click on the enemies instead of circling them.

Hamster Coaster by Rabbitshaped 2020-10-14T21:57:36Z

Okay game, could have used more indication of where the notes were spawning as they blended into the background.

The Stone Maze by Sunblast 2020-10-14T23:53:16Z

Cool concept for a game, fit the theme well. Could have used a tutorial on the controls at the beginning and on how the blocks work. Also some music would have gone a long way!

Loopy Hoop by Ratrat44 2020-10-07T23:05:07Z

I like how you took the theme literally! The gameplay was good, could have used a bit more art and maybe some other upgrades.

Over by DPS2004 2020-10-10T22:50:35Z

Fun game! I was confused by the first three levels taking me back to the menu instead of being in sequence. Also its strange that i had options to set stuff like the environment density, i feel like that should be reserved for the dev's. Fun game tho!

Ghost in the LOOP by sankacoffee51 2020-10-15T00:11:04Z

Couldn't really tell what was going on in this one, it didn't seem like my attacks were doing anything and the animation that played didn't seem to match with the hitbox. After a couple of rounds the enemies and bones stopped spawning as well so I couldn't proceed.

Hyperloop by very dark lord 2020-10-06T21:16:21Z

Really nice submission. The best part was the atmosphere and the sound/music. Not quite sure how this game was "stuck in a loop" since my progression seem to carry over from life to life.

Smoothing things out by Shakedimus 2020-10-10T23:43:28Z

Good submission i guess but i can't rate it fairly since i dont have a a second person to play it with. The sound was horrible, super loud and static-y

Chompy by aCuriosity 2020-10-15T01:41:44Z

Really good submission. It was great that you put equal focus into all of the categories. You had voice over, sound effects, solid art, good gameplay loop, everything you could ask for in a game jam game. The voice over stuff was a little cringey at times, but still a good effort.

LoopChan by Kaish 2020-10-07T00:06:33Z

i liked the game a lot, it had the right balance of challenge and ease. Maybe one thing it was missing was a visualizer for the loop, i know the idea was to remember the loop cycle but it would helpful for timing to visualize it

Layers of time by Kaldrin 2020-10-14T22:23:00Z

Cool game, the looping system was nice and the physics were fun to play around with, I liked the addition of the controller support as well!

Cercle funeste by LoicLeGrosFrere 2020-10-06T18:40:27Z

I had a hard time figuring out what exactly was happening when i pressed space and why it didn't work sometimes. I managed to find the pattern for going into seperate boxes but i couldnt predict where i would end up and i couldnt figure out why it didnt work sometimes. Not a bad submission i can tell you put a lot of effort into the lore.

CAVELAPSE by Vadzim 2020-10-06T23:55:35Z

Fun game, puzzles were good, could use some polish.

One Minute Army by Bob174 2020-10-07T23:55:23Z

Good concept and well executed! I liked the art as well, the puzzles got significantly harder which was good!

Loopy Island by honzapat 2020-10-08T00:19:58Z

Cool design, I liked the island and the click to move was done well. The only thing was that I was able to touch the button in the maze and in the house without actually going through the puzzle.

Pillars of Anguish by Outfrost 2020-10-15T04:28:50Z

Out of over 100 games, this is one out of two games that i've rated 5/5 overall. The game design kept me playing a long time, determined to win even though i wasn't enjoying the experience. I think the main reason for the frustration is some of the hitboxes and lacking coyote time on the jumps (a slight delay that lets you jump after you've walked off a platform). Overall, great submission, can definitely see this as a full commercial game with more levels and perhaps some kind of player progression. I'll leave you to figure that out :p

The Game Designer Cycle by melhem_fares 2020-10-11T01:21:33Z

Loved your game. Unfortunately theres not much to it. I submitted i think around 12 games and stopped playing. Would be nice if there was some kind of progression or story :) Great work tho

Perseverance by freeworld 2020-10-14T23:27:16Z

Alright game, fit the theme well but there just wasn't enough things to do to keep in interesting. I liked the art and the music though!

S P A C E D O U T by LanaLux 2020-10-06T22:15:52Z

Fantastic submission! Amazing what you could do in a compo time limit. I loved that the stations kept getting visual upgrades when you upgraded them. I managed to beat the game only upgrading my sleep, work and plants. So maybe nerf the plants a little haha

Escape from Arachnea! by Guardaro 2020-10-11T00:59:33Z

Well made game and it was fun to play! The addition of leaderboards was a nice touch as well. Could have used a bit more enemy variety and guns to spice it up a little bit but overall very good!

Chicken Leggacy by Magic_mike 2020-10-06T18:21:46Z

I liked the art and the music but the game itself felt a little bland. Even the way the foxes were implemented was poor. They ran too fast and the animation was too jittery. I didnt quite understand the concept of laying an egg at a nest, i think its a one-time checkpoint but perhaps you should be more clear about that in the future.

Stuck in a TIME loop by mira 2020-10-14T20:26:23Z

Good idea and matches the theme very well! I would get stuck sometimes in the floor when jumping and the jump would also sometimes go twice as high. Could have also used a reset button for when you screwed up the run instead of just waiting.

...And again, dont steal from dead pharaons by ZMVL 2020-10-06T19:05:48Z

I liked this one. I've only played around 5 jam games so far, but its my favorite. The looping wasnt evident at first but then i absolutely loved it. Im a big fan of grindy games. Would've been cool to have some kind of easter egg all the way to the right if you timed the jumps and dash properly. overall great!

Divine Drifter by Enzar17 2020-10-15T05:38:56Z

I have played this game 5x more than my 2nd most played out of over 100 jam games. This game is amazing. I am the record holder for Level 6. I feel good. I feel great.

Some of the feedback i have :

- Put the current score somewhere easier to see - Make me invulnerable while exiting - Get rid of those motorcyclists

Amazing game. 5/5 in every category.

Hangin' Around by Nocity 2020-10-07T22:48:55Z

Very cool game, the story mode was funny and the arcade mode was a nice addition! I would like to see some more minigames as well in the future.

Fearcle by Jupperevie 2020-10-10T23:39:11Z

Great game! Especially the art, it was 5/5. Some of the issues i had with the game :

It was disorienting to press space and suddenly pressing Left was moving you towards the Right side of the train, i had no way to know which part of the train i was in or which way i was going.

The sound effects didnt relate to me anything good or bad in particular, i had no idea what any of the sounds meant.

When i summoned the monster and the red light, the game continues after that, i didnt know i should reset the room.

Also the "a" key doesnt work for moving left even though the tutorial says it does.

Loop Wave by Skvader_418 2020-10-07T22:55:30Z

The art was good and the gameplay was straight forward, would have liked to see more enemy variety and more guns as well.

Looped Chaos by KDgame 2020-10-06T20:20:25Z

Not bad, i felt the music didn't fit the game at all. The pace was pretty good but i got bored fairly quickly. I dont know if there are other color loops other than red and yellow ones, perhaps a teaser of all the different color loops would be nice so i would know if i had anything left to experience.

Paper Planes by SamDemaine 2020-10-07T23:41:45Z

Very well made game! Felt well polished and put together, could have used some music and a bit more variety.

Loopamonium by Unimaginable_Code_Studios 2020-10-15T02:10:50Z

Very good submission for someone your age! Keep at it, you'll do great things if you dont give up. That being said, the game was mediocre. My favorite part was the voice acting :)

Crystal Curse by LouieJams 2020-10-15T02:46:36Z

It was hard to figure out what each tower did. Maybe color coding them would make it easier, or perhaps too easy. I really like the art here though, especially the HUD :) Great job

Froot Loops Delivery Job by InefficientChunkOfCode 2020-10-06T21:46:57Z

THE MUSIC WAS INSAAAAANE. waaaay too loud. Overall fun concept although i kept getting stuck inside my own loops, maybe it would be useful if you could jump-through them and end up on top of them.

Beat Bash by Overlook Studios 2020-10-10T22:43:29Z

I liked the game a lot, possibly the highest rated game ive played so far. The animations and the music felt somehow uncomfortable. as if they didnt match or something, i dont know. I downloaded the zip verison because i thought the webgl version was broken but i guess it probably wasnt. Theres some kind of lag on the menu's i dont have enough time to figure out what i was seeing, but im sure you'll find the answer

Particle Accelerator by Koolruz 2020-10-15T01:56:43Z

Up until the very last life, i could not even comprehend let alone master the movement and the pivoting of the level. I had no intuitive feel for which way it was going to move and how i can use that to my advantage. There also wasn't any music, felt a bit empty. It was a very polished version of this type of game, just not my cup of tea. Its my user error

Untiled Runner Game by WatermelonAndMe 2020-10-06T20:26:21Z

Good submission but i think the game starts way too slow. It takes a solid 5 seconds before you even need to jump. Also the hit detection was not generous enough, i swear i didnt touch some of those obstacles but it counted it anyway.

Dinosaur Game Level 1 by JDcierski 2020-10-15T00:02:58Z

Very well done! I liked the different levels and how they changed, pretty funny as well.

Imperial Eggnog Incorporated by Blue Pin Studio 2020-10-06T20:15:02Z

@mattc Yeah the game is supposed to end after day 6 but we did the point reward thing backwards. If we make a full version it will be fixed for sure.

Imperial Eggnog Incorporated by Blue Pin Studio 2020-10-08T06:50:22Z

@maychant There are two endings that both involve you losing your job. We're working on a full version that will launch to steam which won't be as exhausting :) Thanks so much for playing it, especially twice.

@sophiemae0 Thank you so much for playing and your kind words. Keep an eye out for the steam version in December.

@forgeronstudio haha you have to try eggnog if you ever get the chance, its a beverage composed mainly of cream, milk, egg and sugar

@tomeyro Thanks a lot!

@fabula-rasa Thank you :)

@noah-kuhn Thank you so much! perhaps you'll see more of the infamous CEO in our full version on steam

Imperial Eggnog Incorporated by Blue Pin Studio 2020-10-11T11:15:49Z

@kaisenthegreatone Thank you so much for playing! We're working on a full version for steam with more voicelines and more gameplay!

@curly Thanks!

@chocolat-endive Yeah i wasn't happy with the screen either, we're going to work on a more tactile way to access the ingredients

@sollu haha don't know about that, but thanks!

@c0nt As did i. I had to research different egg nog recipes for this game. I think i know more than any human should know about eggnog.

@overlook-studios Yeah thats a good tip about the vertical tabs, we'll think about how to make that better for the full version. The idea was to make sure the tabs were covering the item you were checking so you had to close and open the tabs to confirm. As for the pace, that is something we noticed during our limited play testing and watching people play the game afterward as well. We're going to ramp up the difficulty and introduce more eggnog brands and more difficult machines as well as changing the quotas for the full version coming to steam

@roka-josh Thanks so much! Yeah the screen button wasn't clear enough. We're going to look into a more tactile way to present that, maybe as a stand alone button or maybe just add a blinking effect to it or something.

@rongo-matane I'm glad you liked it. Yeah we went for similar things in our games where players that played more and paid attention got a sense of progression. We're going to add more machines and make the existing one a little bit bet better with better feedback to player. We had to rush looking for sound effects. As for the progression, we also feel its a little bit lacking, we have many ideas how to spice it up for the full version. I liked your game a lot and i especially like that you took the time to write such a detailed response. If u have a discord i would love to join :) or you can join mine https://discord.gg/US6vMxP

Imperial Eggnog Incorporated by Blue Pin Studio 2020-10-13T02:20:03Z

@omiya-games Thats fantastic feedback, we agree with all of those points. Our full version of the game will slowly introduce testing requirements to the player over time. This will make the beginning tutorial much shorter. The game will get harder as it progresses and the machines and test will become more complicated. You have a good sense of what needs to be changed because our thoughts are exactly the same as yours. Thanks for playing and thanks for the thoughtful feedback

@mackandrius Thank you very much!

@pedrohph Thanks!

@sharked ahh perhaps our tutorial needs to be more clear and shorter

Imperial Eggnog Incorporated by Blue Pin Studio 2020-10-26T05:52:09Z

@coleslaughter Just watched your vod haha, lots of great ideas for nog puns! Nogturnal was my favorite. Thanks so much for playing, we're going to make a full version for steam and i'll try my best to include as many of your puns as i can :) Be sure to check out the talk show channel on the in-game radio for the steam version if u decide to buy it

The Titan's grave by BadPiggy 2020-10-15T03:21:43Z

Great submission, definitely in the top for the games i've played so far. I really like the idea of sharing the health with the boss. Essentially every game already does that, its either you die or the boss dies but you visualized it in a nice way. Also, by doing that, you made it possible that the boss fight lasts forever despite hitting the boss many times, very cool.

The sound effects were a little bland, perhaps some variation for the OnHit sounds but overall a great submission.

Re:Live by Ciber_Turtle 2020-10-11T00:10:07Z

This is the highest game i have rated. Overall it was very good, no weird bugs or glitches, no real recommendations to make. It was very fun, and challenging :)

O O O by RexTGun 2020-10-07T21:53:55Z

Fun game to play! The highscores were a nice touch as well, really made you want to compete and get a better score. The audio was good, just need to tone down the beginning sounds!

black_box by Fraxle 2020-10-14T20:39:08Z

Cool concept, basically single player among us. I found it very hard to proceed in the game and it seemed at times that it was impossible based on how quickly the tasks were happening right after each other.

office-hours by jonah 2020-10-07T21:39:05Z

I liked the concept a lot! Once you figured out what you were doing it was cool, could have used a little bit more of a tutorial but besides that it was great!

Sisyphus Beetle Takes His Daughter to Work by pee-thief 2020-10-07T00:11:19Z

Decent submission, a bit too meme-y for my taste. Its lacking an actual gameplay loop. The sounds were too loud and they were all over the place. Camera movement didnt follow the beetle. After the joke the camera reset to bottom but beetle was still at the top

Boris the Bear Hunter by ForgeronStudio 2020-10-06T23:41:06Z

I liked the art and the music! The small enemies were a bit too fast and unavoidable at times though.

League of Ultranormal Detectives by Ghuyajil 2020-10-06T21:43:12Z

I liked it a lot, especially for a compo game! Very well done. Obviously theres issues with some textures and a mushroom clipping into the altar room but its to be expected. Great job!

Cotton Candy Dream by LelulaGames 2020-10-06T23:48:15Z

The game was fun to play, trying to go as fast as possible but I flew out of the map and just kept going endlessly.

Quantum Split by InitialPosition 2020-10-15T02:35:50Z

BEST GAME OUT OF THE 90ISH GAMES IVE PLAYED THIS TIME AROUND.

The particle effects were amazing. The sound design was amazing. The platforming was amazing. The difficulty curve was amazing. The art of the environment, hazards, and player was amazing. I have no feedback to give. If you made more levels and released to steam, i would buy. Amazing!

[gandle2.gif](///raw/052/d2/z/3a2ae.gif)

A100P by ItsIsaac 2020-10-14T20:50:25Z

The art and the camera work was really well done! It was confusing trying to figure out exactly what to do and how to progress, could have used a tutorial on what to do or what to look for when playing.

Bloop by Harmadillo 2020-10-14T21:04:11Z

Cool little puzzle game, would have been nice to see more levels or if the repeating levels had something change when you played them again.

Something's Changed (Minsk 2118) by Jakob Reborn 2020-10-10T23:18:37Z

I have literally no idea what this game was or how to play. I was clipping through everything, flying around, the music was laggy and loud. This game feels like a game just to troll people, but i could be wrong. Perhaps its just user error and i didnt know to play properly.

Grotinger by RizekCajk 2020-10-14T23:02:05Z

Fun little game to play! It was a bit too hard to kill the final boss, especially since you get thrown back to the start every time. Would have been nice if some shortcuts opened up or something. The price for the sword was a bit too expensive as well.

Retro Loop by Minos_L2b 2020-10-06T18:54:34Z

I liked the game! I found that level 3 was sooooooooo much harder than the previous levels. it required too much precision to succeed. I never got past level 3 and quit after about 10 minutes

FRUITFLY by frecklebars 2020-10-15T02:55:13Z

Very artsy entry, i liked it! As a game though, it was a little bit bland, just reading dialogue boxes with virtually no interactivity. I liked the art and the story though, very moody. Perhaps it could've benefitted from some ominous music :)

Assembly Loop by mjbelanic 2020-10-15T00:15:49Z

Okay little game that felt very similar to overcooked! One problem that I ran into was getting the correct pieces for the robot I was making, it seemed to be kinda random what was coming out and trying to piece them together was a hassle.

The Legend of the Stormer by josephdevelops 2020-10-10T22:28:23Z

Good submission, especially for your first unity game. Some of the problems were :

I didn't need to fight the slimes, i just ran past all of them, even the ones i killed had no reward or purpose. Sometimes the particle effects didnt even spawn

The story was sort of disjointed from the title of the game, legend of the stormer? breaking into area 52? Neither of those things were ever mentioned. It was mostly filled with coma-tropes

The art style was inconsistent because some of it was doodling on microsoft paint and the others were high fidelity pixel art

All-in-all not bad, but not really a game, it was more like a movement demo.

Crazy Cabby by NaDe 2020-10-15T00:32:52Z

Couldn't figure out how to pick up passengers, some sort of tutorial would have helped with that. Some indications of where to go would be nice as well.

Mines of Movania by Demure 2020-10-07T21:28:45Z

Very good game! Stressful at times, but once you get the hang of the levels you start to plan out what you should do.

MΓΆbi's Trip by Jack LeFevre 2020-10-11T02:02:33Z

Fun game! Great submission, especially for a compo game. Some of the scores seemed impossible to beat, i suspect the dev is a cheating hacker. Overall, not a lot to improve, there was a bit of glitchyness when the level first starts, the green disappears and appears briefly. And the music stopped playing.

BL0CK by GregoryBlomquist 2020-10-15T03:54:29Z

Very good submission. I didn't complete it but i felt like i played enough of it to get the gist. It's a little confusing when the rooms change color. I couldn't quite get a grip on what each color room did but thats perhaps user error. In all fairness if i played it for 20 more minutes i would've figured it out.

Cycle Breakdown by TheJohnyFeeD 2020-10-07T22:06:21Z

This was a really well made game! I loved the art and the music, gameplay was tight and once you got the hang of it, it flowed really well!

Stuck on the Train by Conneli 2020-10-14T22:24:31Z

Cool idea for a game! Took some time to figure out the order that everything was suppose to go in. Also it was hard to read all the text when it overlapped and when you had to rush through everything you didn't have time to read everything.

That Dream Again by Bokonon 2020-10-06T22:24:24Z

Great game, i had a time figuring out how to use the hookshot and how to let go of it. The camera movement is probably my biggest issue, it keeps darting around, up and down based on my keyboard inputs and since i had a lot of inputs the camera was going crazy. Solid game tho, just need a bit of refinement on the movement

Escape from the Ferris Wheel by Adam Jewell 2020-10-15T00:23:50Z

Simple text adventure game, had some issues with the dialogue repeating even after completing the objective and after I got the rope and gave it to the guy the game didn't end. Some music and sound effects would have helped out a lot as well.

Loop's Way by Linetaru 2020-10-06T19:54:51Z

It was a good submission. I didnt read the description of the game on this page so i had no clue what was happening when i went through the doors and no clue about the purple cube. Lucckily a developer of the game gave me hints in twitch chat. Even then, i couldnt complete it. Thats largely my fault, perhaps i don't have enough patience. Cool game tho

Deathless Curse by BridgeOnAStick 2020-10-15T03:10:13Z

I love the art! It was a good submission. Unfortunately i think i ran into a bug. I attempted to do the boss without destroying his weapons and when i respawned i was shooting bullets and was unable to break the first black door.

I loved the art and the animations in your game, the main character and the gun-computers were veryh well done although they look like they're from two seperate games.

proceed by anchorlight 2020-10-08T00:13:04Z

Took some time to figure out what to do, but got the hang of it eventually. The game looked good and was well made, just could have used a different screen for progression so you know what you're doing is correct.

Space Drummer by Guilloteam 2020-10-11T00:18:58Z

Really good submission! I didnt actually know i could move using arrow keys until 3 rounds of failure haha, maybe you should make that clear somewhere :) Otherwise, very good, cant' really make any recommendations as to how to improve it

10 Seconds from Death by brads.space 2020-10-06T21:56:09Z

The game was ok. I had a hard time figuring out how the player and the wall interaction worked. Sometimes it let me jump again sometimes not, sometimes i slid down and sometimes i didnt. Also the purple bouncy platforms seemed to have a range of height they could send you which was hard to understand the mechanics of. I only go to like level 5 or 6 before i was too frustrated to continue

Stix by Sombrero Guy 2020-10-15T01:30:39Z

I didn't really like it. I didnt feel rewarded for collecting the sticks and there wasn't anything else to do. Hiding in the bush was cool, but ultimately pointless. The music loop was a bit too short wherein it started driving me crazy. Very heavy on the unity-effects as well, not tasteful. The collision boxes for all the objects didn't really match either.

Cleaning Bot by TriceratopsJJJ 2020-10-15T01:21:25Z

Really cool concept for a game! Played it a lot longer than i thought i would. IF i wasn't on a mission to play a dozen games tonight i would've played for even longer. I feel like you might have something promising there!

From That Monday by Weeqee 2020-10-14T22:38:56Z

Cool concept! Could have used some more things to maintain, once you get the basic gameplay loop down it gets pretty repetitive.

Reincarnation by Omeletton 2020-10-06T23:31:12Z

The download doesn't have the executable

Slime Panic by AlariannGames 2020-10-08T00:25:11Z

I liked the art style of everything, the game could have used a bit more for the gameplay loop, different enemies or different environments would have spiced it up a bit.

Loop Deleter by Zachary Barbanell 2020-10-07T22:27:44Z

Cool puzzles, took me a while to get some of them, the audio and art was well done.

Hamster Death Loop by Lauri Karjalainen 2020-10-15T00:27:00Z

Simple game, not too much going on as far as I can tell, would have liked some variety for the obstacles that you jump over.

Aztec Ride by Idan Rooze 2020-10-14T21:50:45Z

Very well made game! Felt good to control and I really like the art/music. Pretty straightforward concept that was hard enough to keep interesting as well, would like to see more levels in the future.

Loopero by Polymorph 2020-10-15T02:23:30Z

Its a really solid game! I liked it a lot. Obviously it was a pain in the ass to play on the PC when i cant use my mouse or WASD properly. Also the game was waaay more boring due to it being silent. No sound feedback for getting hit or shooting. That being said : your upgrade system was FANTASTIC. I played many times just to see what kind of upgrades there were. The upgrades were all very well thought out. By the way, i dont think its intentional that Velocity + Shotgun causes the shotgun shots to go waaaay further, might want to look into that

Endless Grind by Stratobox 2020-10-15T03:00:54Z

Your links are broken, i used @joror 's link. I couldnt figure out how to open the shop once i closed it and using numpad and stuff didnt seem to do it. Pretty cool entry tho, i like all the different stat options and the music

Qnight EveryDay Quest by Tomycase 2020-10-14T21:17:53Z

Very well made game! The art was done really well and the gameplay felt good! Would like to see some more levels added as well.

S.H.I.P.S. by PhindieGames 2020-10-06T21:20:56Z

couldnt play, dont have controller

Apocrypha by Ravarix 2020-10-07T23:31:07Z

Very cool and fun game! Took some time to get through, but it was nice going through the levels, even got scared a couple of times.

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Out of Your Depth by nopogo 2021-04-30T07:48:27Z

Fun game! I got total depth of around 400~ I spent all of my money on weight upgrades and one oxygen upgrade. Cant say i felt a difference with the weights. Perhaps the impact should be more significant. Great submission tho!

Financial Depths by joh 2021-04-30T08:08:37Z

Pretty cool submission! It was a lot harder than i thought it would be haha. I was getting deeper and deeper into debt because i only made like $60 per week and my bills were anywhere from 50-200 per week. Destined for debt :P

DnD - Descending and Descending by Juan Matias 2021-05-03T12:03:25Z

Great game! I managed to get to 547. It actually gets easier the deeper you go because there is a bigger gap between the floors. In the beginning its very dense and doesnt allow you to move sideways fast enough if the gaps are on opposite sides. Other than that it seems fine :)

Moley Maze by tigerj 2021-04-29T02:14:04Z

Good submission! I gave it a few playthroughs, its pretty challenging since there appears to be no way to heal. A few improvements would be to skip the tutorial after you've completed it once. Also the music sometimes overlapped and generally it was balanced poorly, the pickup sounds were tremendously loud compared to the bg music. I liked the animations and the movement felt pretty good too! Oh and the text instructing me how to attack was oriented such that i couldnt actually read it until i ran past the ant. Either way, good game, keep it up!

Burilka Pump by abvadabra 2021-04-29T04:16:47Z

Pretty cool game! Kind of tough for me but i can see the appeal for sure. Love the music, love the art!

Dreamcatcher by TheCommonThug 2021-04-30T09:12:05Z

I liked this game a lot! It was really hard. I died a few times before i even realized the cause of the deaths. The resting stage is fascinating too, like a seperate game! Very cool

Soapbox Racer by Rick2112 2021-05-03T12:07:57Z

This is a confusing submission for me. You have the Audio and Humor category but its just a race track. I would say this is categorized more as a demo of driving a car and not really a game. Not much to do other than quietly drive around. I saw its your first game, so its definitely better than my first game, keep improving and you'll have awesome stuff. Hope to see you at next ludum dare with something even better :D

The Icarus by PowerAnze 2021-05-03T11:54:15Z

Very nice submission! I was a big fan of the graphics and sound which were very well done. The gameplay was pretty confusing to me. Perhaps it's because i skipped all of the text on the LD and ITCH page. Eventually once i realized i could go up and down as well as WASD, i got the hang of it tho! Fantastic!

The Depths of Science by Trusty 2021-04-29T02:36:01Z

Great submission! The first LD48 game i've played to the end! Really good job on the 3D models and concepts :D

Chuck Yeager's Jet Janitor by Shawn Moore 2021-04-29T04:29:30Z

Fantastic game! Could perhaps be a little bit more forgiving with the collisions and maybe make the planes handle a bit better. I loved the new game+ concept and your time management graph. Very cool, excited to see what you'll crank out next!

Soaring Under by jitspoe 2021-04-29T05:21:17Z

Really cool entry! Frustrated me a lot but i kept wanting to play! Would be an amazing experience if wasnt so difficult :D

The Wreck of the S.S. Adventure by Arcling 2021-04-29T03:12:24Z

This game was very hard to control. And the music was incredibly loud. Also, perhaps the intro cutscene can display the text faster? I was sitting there for soooo long haha

Depthplosion by HPA97 2021-04-29T02:22:12Z

Pretty good submission! I loved the bomb's lighting and sounds. Especially the timed barrel and the nuke.

I thought the floating gem was a powerup or something but it turned out to be a bomb. Perhaps next time ensure all hazards are colored the same way so there would be less confusion :P

Shiny Depths by JosΓ© Bonilla 2021-04-30T07:55:42Z

Pretty cool game! Im impressed by what you were able to accomplish in such a short time :D I ended up ending my playthrough when i got stuck in a hole. Its my own fault i suppose haha. Maybe a way to get back out if you sacrifice your inventory. Oh and perhaps holding down the mouse button to continuously mine would be a welcome improvement

Explory Story by Blue Pin Studio 2021-05-18T10:57:20Z

Hey everyone! We're doing a massive post to conclude our Ludum Dare 48 experience ###

#### First of all, we would all love to thank you for our kind words. Thanks to your feedback and support, we've decided to launch this game as a full game, including online co-op, to steam! [Check it out here](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1626280/Explory_Story). We would be incredibly grateful if you wishlisted the game if you enjoyed it. We aim to make a lot more fun and a lot more features and characters. Ok enough self-promo, let me respond to each of you. ####

@cinderblock Thanks for your feedback about taking damage. We'll work towards a version of the game that isn't stressful for the final release.

@Rujum Shallom! Thanks!

@nopogo Thank you very much :)

@nohac Thank you for the kind words. Yeah a lot of people played the same way, we have some ideas how we can make reading easier but by all means its not necessary. Parsing the words is fine too :)

@alina-baybulatova Thank you for the kind words!

@bamallama Thank you! The singular goal thing is something we came to release as well, thanks to people leaving feedback such as yourself. In the full release we aim to have different types of levels and different words to search for and activate in various ways. Hopefully that will mix up the gameplay a bit, not to mention bosses!

@krassenstein Thank you! You'd love to see it turned into a full game?! Well your wish is our command, its now available to be wishlisted on steam, check out the link above. That is thanks, in part, to you!

@miej Thank you so much for your compliments!

@paetramon Thank you so much! Yes, the collision is something that isn't immediately clear and frustrated some players. We wanted to make words harder to avoid, and to make it more difficult to avoid all the words entirely. Perhaps we missed the mark a bit on that, but we'll work towards a more elegant solution for the full release.

@sakura_magika Thanks a lot for all of the feedback. The main thing you mentioned was hazards and their effect on motivation. This is something we noticed immediately once people started playing. For the jam version we had a casual mode where you don't take any damage, but that solution isn't very elegant. We're aiming to make the game less frustrating for the full version. One of the ideas you mentioned, about marking hazards is a planned feature. As well as dismantling them prior to stepping on them.

@breadstick Thank you so much. You're possibly the person who put the most effort into the comment and it really shows. Complete with a mini Sherlock! Your wish is our command, there is a steam page in the link above. We'd also be happy to hear more from you! On discord or twitter or twitch :)

@lenophie Thank you so much! I can't say that scribblenauts was a huge inspiration but it is a fantastic game. It's quite possible that it is the closest game there is to ours.

@dom-de-re Thank you so much!

@MilkWine Thanks a lot! Hopefully the deaths weren't too frustrating...

@midamida Thank you! Yes, we think so too. We are initially aiming for Arthur Conan Doyle's detective series but we'll sprinkle in some other public works as well. Stay tuned for the full version on steam :D

@kfischer-okarin Thank you so much! There will be plenty more music and art in the final version. We hope to see you there :D

@macdoom Thank you so much! Yeah the stamp was a hard one to get working since it has a big collision box. We will be adding dozens of new effects and new levels to the full version. I hope to see you there!

@judgezedd Thank you so much! Yeah the scope was, dare i say, perfectly tuned for the amount of people and time we had. If there was one less hour in ludum dare, the game would likely not have any sound haha. It came close!

@mtwhateverest Thank you so much! Yeah we can see it as a full release too. We're planning to add bosses, collectibles, online co-op, and secrets. Its gonna be a fun time :D

@sobercake Thank you so much! I've said the same about so many great games, it warms my heart to see someone say that about my game.

@aguahervida Thank you for the compliments! Yeah we received that feedback a few times. We will certainly make those type of effects wear off over time. It can even be a puzzle mechanic, where you have to be old to enter a certain place but the old effect wears off, so its a race against time. As for the dictionary, we're not certain how we can make that compelling but we'll talk it over on the way to the full release :D

@2bitcrook Thank you so much! You're likely one of our biggest fans haha. A lot of the feedback you left i answered to in the comment directly above this one. Two things i wanted to touch on was the zoomed out feedback. We are definitely going to make the text more easily to read, but not by zooming out. Stay tuned :D And the other piece of feedback was the different game modes. Those are largely there for the jam version because we didn't have a ton of time to flesh out the game design aspect. For the full version we aim to have different win conditions for different levels. Some will be timers, some will be key words, some will be other types of puzzles.

@simpathey Thanks! Yeah the casual mode saved a lot of frustration. We hope to make it a little bit more nuanced for the full release though...

@josephdevelops Aloha! Thank you so much for the kind words :D We'll see what we can do with competitive mode or scoreboards. Its a tricky thing to implement meaningfully but its definitely possible.

@codeman1010 Well! We have good news! No crying for you haha. Scroll up for the link to our steam page

@wolfier We're taking it and we're not looking back! A lot of the stuff you recommended we're going to implement in the form of items and skills. These will reduce your collision radius, let you heal, etc, etc. Thank you for your suggestions and kind words, its incredibly valuable.

@ramble-house-games Thank you very much for your kind words! There are a few hiccups but we'll iron them out and hopefully make a pretty fantastic full game.

@threeli Thank you very much for the feedback :D Yeah there are a few things like the flying text bug that definitely won't make a comeback in the full version.

@arguablyarugula Thank you very much!

@midnightmist Thanks a lot :D

@pancelor Thanks for all of the feedback! Yeah we've had the same reservations about making a full game. We have a list of things we will do to improve the gameplay, and more importantly, create different types of gameplay. As for the sound, i'm being told it was made in-house from scratch but its using a soundkit that has a lot of retro sounds. We looked into the licensing and everything for the program and its all clear haha

@poweranze Thank you for playing and recording it :D I had a pleasure being in the chat while you played it.

@syudzius Thank you very much for all of the compliments! Yeah that bug was a nuisance, its long gone now...

@etrealjunior Thank you very much! Its quite possible we pursue a more child friendly theme, instead of murder, and perhaps it will do quite well! Maybe even a natively Brazilian Portugese story :)

@paul-nadan Thanks a lot! Yeah we're aiming to make the puzzles have more variantion. Sometimes it won't even be about finding words perhaps, maybe pushing props around or combat.

@togis Thank you very much for playing, i really enjoyed watching the vod and hearing the feedback. We're 100% going to use that idea, in at least a portion of the game, that is a really elegent solution to the problem. Thanks a lot, we'll hope to see you in Explory Story's future!

@anchorlight If it isn't AnchorLight, the under water expert! Its not surprise you're recommending Jules Verne. 20,000 leagues under the sea is one of the first books i read, along with Sherlock. I would absolutely love to work in Captain Nemo in some way. Thanks for all of the feedback and suggestions!

Whispers of Life by MidnightMist 2021-04-29T03:07:15Z

Great submission! I gave it a few tries but eventually it becomes too hard haha. I dont really have any recommendations, the art and music were well done and fantastic whispering SFX

Of Void by Finn_Tr 2021-04-29T02:47:42Z

Fantastic entry! I loved the art and music. Also you did great job with the different physics mechanics. One small recommendation i would have is : let the player drop the box at their feet. The bulk of my time was spent trying to put the box i was holding onto the button next to me haha

Trapdoor in the Garden by InitialPosition 2021-04-29T03:01:15Z

Amazing game made by an amazing man. Fantastic sounds, my only two criticisms are : - The slimes are too powerful - Not enough particles

Dante's Refrigerator by josephdevelops 2021-04-29T03:30:06Z

Very nice entry! I loved the art and the interesting puzzle mechanics. The animation controller and player controller could use a little work, i often got stuck in an animation or couldnt switch characters. Solid submission, looking forward to seeing these ice cube ladies again!

Diggy Diggy Dwarf 2 : Deeper & Deeper by Rujum 2021-04-29T02:08:08Z

Great submission! I enjoyed the voice acting very much, and the drill felt really good. One improvement that i can think of right away is a tutorial. It might be just me, because everyone else seems to be really good at it, but i had no idea what i was doing and couldnt get a score higher than 400.

Resurface by anchorlight 2021-04-29T03:54:01Z

Fantastic entry considering it was compo! Perhaps in the future it would be wiser to focus on a smaller level with more stuff to do. This game felt enormous! Kudos for attempting such a feat. I loved the radio chatter by the way :D

PANEMUAN by etrealjunior 2021-04-29T05:30:37Z

Very nice! I imagined there would be more content but of course this is only a game jam. I like that you guys did narration and a lot of cool art too! Good submission

Clean up! by Spider058 2021-05-03T12:15:51Z

Managed to get all the way to the end of the game (the chair)! It was pretty fun. Not sure why you're in the humor category but i guess its just a mis-click. I think the art and music were suited very nicely but the submarine controls could use some work. When i became upside down it was a real brain-twister to figure out how to move haha. Good work completing it on time tho!

PΓ’querette Down the Bunburrow by Herbie Puppy 2021-04-29T04:09:17Z

I managed to get 9/14 and 1 baby bunny before i started skipping all of the levels to see whats at the end. Fantastic game, with great art and sound :D

Stock: A Tale from The Pages by MAB_Cat 2021-04-29T05:04:00Z

I have never played a game like this before. It started a little bit slow but once i got items i was intrigued. Very nice submission!

Leech of the Deep by tarrDev 2021-04-29T04:49:55Z

That was the fastest game i've played so far! On one hand, its too short, on the other hand, at least i beat it! Cool concept, would love to see more *depth* out of it ;)

Frog Boy by TeamDungeon 2021-04-29T04:45:53Z

Very nice submission! Its impressive to see how much art you guys managed to add in such a short time! Looking forward to playing your other games if this what you can do in 72hrs!

CHROMAHOLIC by Secret Magic 404 2021-04-30T08:24:18Z

This game looks absolutely incredible! The gameplay was a bit confusing and i ended up just falling a dozen times, but somehow i enjoyed it :D

LD49 — Unstable

Sky High Islands by jan5366x 2021-10-06T04:15:33Z

Took some time to get used to the movement, but it was great when i got the hang of it! I like the later levels where you actually have to think about which blocks to grab in which order. Good submission!

precAIRious by rumor 2021-10-05T20:51:15Z

This.Game.Is.Amazing! It's right up my alley! I've actually been looking for a game like this on steam but they all focus on very tight controls and are frankly kind of brutal. This game allowed me to just chill out and fly, of course it could use more stuff to do, but i dont fault you for that.

Insomnia by Foursay 2021-10-10T03:05:39Z

Very nice submission! I actually had a lot of fun playing it, surprisngly. I guess the part at the end is impossible to survive? I don't really have any feedback, this type of concept could be cool in a more bombastic action style too, timing shots or explosions with the breathing :)

Tetrawave by zinnin 2021-10-06T04:45:55Z

Normally i haaaate tetris, but this version was actually fun! That's saying alot, because anyone that knows me, knows that i dislike tetris haha. Great submission!

P.S. i took the liberty of advertising my steam game on your leaderboards loool hope you dont mind

Tower of Thoughts by Erukolindo 2021-10-10T02:13:12Z

I reached the top of level 1, came here to write a review and realised that my goal was supposed to be to fix holes? I saw the letters turning gold, but didn't make the connection. Aww well! I really like how robust the letter's physics were, great job!

Feed Me Pizza! by yikescloud 2021-10-10T02:41:29Z

Great game! I managed to beat the boss battle on the second attempt. Solid amount of content and gameplay here! One thing that i think would improve the first level are hazards. That way you wouldn't be able to stand under the shoot afk collecting boxes. Very cool game tho, great job!

Part 1 of my Mega-Response Thread. I was planning on responding before the votes were finished but time slipped away from me. ###

@python-b5 Yeah thats something we can look into for future platformer! Thanks :)

@jan5366x Thanks for playing :)

@neeko69 Yeah the fonts was because we didn't test in other browsers, only Chrome. Big oversight on my part! Thanks for playing :)

@mausimus Thanks for playing! Yeah the game is very hectic until you let loose and just start spamming jumps haha

@benchase Thanks!

@peace-of-cake-games Yeah its a speedy game for sure :p

@miss-iiv Hahah thanks!

@jonah Thank you very much! We're very proud of the voice over feature

@owinmowe Thanks!

@foursay Yeah thats the best way to play. I think we could've added some permanent vertical obstacles to make the pathfinding more meaningful, maybe next time!

@datadazer Thanks a lot! Im glad you enjoyed it :)

@marin0104 Thank you, the voice acting was fun to implement. We actually did have koyote time in the game set to 0.2s so perhaps its worth looking into different timings to make it feel even better.

@freeworld Thank you very much! Yeah the platformer could've been more nuanced, we planned to add more variety to the platforms but we ran out of time towards the end.

@lucy-lu Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it

@3mpty Thank you! We had a little bit of everything haha, even fake steam achievements. Yeah the timers on the platform decay was probably too brutal, maybe we should've taken it easy with our interpretation of "unstable"

@guinytime Thank you very much! I'm glad you made the connection between the little uranium character and the decay and instability of the level. :)

@scidev Thank you very much! It's a shame you didn't get a chance to beat it, it is fairly hard if you use regular platforming conventions haha

@louiejams I haven't actually played borderlands but i hear great things! Thank you very much!

@queenofsquiggles Thank you very much! Yeah the original goal was to make it even moreso about the paths you take, for example big vertical environments that made sure you only go over it once, meaning spamming space is not a valid strategy. Maybe next time!

@noethelazydev Thank you very much! Stress, instability, its all the same, no? :p

@0x-void-x0 Thank you very much!

@adrian-guevara Thank you! We tried our best to make sure the frustration stays with the environment and not the controls

@teenythanos Thank you very much! The VO was fun to do :)

@codechomper Thank you very much! The tripping and falling was intended to illustrate that even the player character is unstable. Afterall, how good would a uranium rod be at running? :p

@witekwitek Thank you very much for all of the feedback!

@validdark Thank you! Perhaps it could be, but not this time around. We have a big commercial project to focus on :p

@pixelydian Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it and manage to 100% it.

@ekilibr Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it

@simonchik Thanks!

@zazz0000 Thank you thank you! We aim to tackle all sides of games when we jam, spreading focus across all elements to make them feel polished.

@nivbeth Thanks a lot!

@masterproject Very valid points! Thanks for appreciating the efforts made to make the game, perhaps it could've been way more fun with more time since we had a lot of systems built and underutilized.

@mabuschka Thank you, congrats on finding all of them, and congrats on getting the achievement haha

@simpathey You won! Thanks for playing and thanks for streaming :)

@kyrylo-kalienich Thank you very much!

@dannyk1994 Nice but unforgiving should be the tag line of this game. Yeah if we were making a full version we could definitely tweak the platforms to be a bit more resilient and figure out how to challenge the player in other ways. Thanks for the feedback!

@rumor Thank you very much! Yeah that was the idea with the rod haha. Yeah the arrow was super last minute, but im glad it was useful eventually.

@nratcliff Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed the audio logs!

@outfrost Sorry that you had issues with the builds, we will debug with wider hardware and software configurations for future jams!

@anchorlight Hello hello submarine friend! Thank you very much for the feedback. Sorry about framerate issues, we didn't test it thoroughly enough.

@leokrechmer Thank you very much! That's the twist we were going for haha. It could have been done better but we're happy with the balance we struck within the time frame we had.

@skvader-418 Thank you very much for the nice words. Yeah the uranium tripping over his own feet was intentional. It was our way of introducing the theme "unstable" into the player character without it being overly annoying.

@zimny11 Thank you very much!

@soulo Thanks a lot :)

@coolestdoggie Thank you!

U-49 Meltdown by Blue Pin Studio 2021-10-22T15:46:29Z

Alrighty! The responses are done, and the jam is done. Thanks to everyone who left feedback, played the game, streamed the game!

A special thanks to the team that made it possible. You can find their links and credits in game and linked above. This time around i decided to work with 3 complete strangers found on short notice and i think it was a great success. Of course, like many of you, i wish i could've added more to the game and there was a lot of stuff planned and not implemented but i guess thats what you sign up for during a weekend game jam! I'm excited to see you all back again for the big LD 50! ###

In the meantime, i will be working on my LD 48 game "Explory Story" which is getting a commercial steam release sometime early 2022. If you are interested in supporting me or my previous team during that, check out [Explory Story on Steam](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1626280/Explory_Story/). Thank you very much, see you next time! ###

【night trade】 by jonah 2021-10-05T03:04:20Z

Very cool! I have to admit, i didn't know what i was doing in the beginning. I read the instructions but didn't full understand. I was just matching pictures and alternating between buying and selling. By the time i got to the boss, i realised what was happening and actually managed to defeat the boss and have 1142 000 left in the bank! Very cool submission, i can't say i've ever played anything like it

....To the Ends of the World and Back by Peace Of Cake Games 2021-10-06T04:36:16Z

Pretty solid submission! I'm glad the fictional humans were able to eliminate global warming. I think it would be cool if you could manually progress the text, that way you can go at your own pace. I found myself sitting there idle waiting for the next text to pop up. Or a few more mini games would work too. Good stuff :)

BALANCING ACT by anchorlight 2021-10-05T02:50:27Z

We meet again @anchorlight! This was an interesting entry. I tried playing through two entire times, and both times my game froze up and i lost on level 5. I really like the sound and art for the shooting, although im not entirely sure what the projectile is supposed to resemble. Cool entry!

P.S. im disappointed its not a submarine game, would be funny if all of your ludum entries had sumbarines in them haha

Virus->Run(); by Alpha Wolf Studios 2021-10-10T02:26:38Z

Pretty cool game, once i died a few times to learn the timings and distances it was very unlikely to die, got bored eventually. I managed to reach the part where the firewall was an actual wall of fire, which was pretty cool

AIROBICS by mausimus 2021-10-06T04:27:21Z

I like this game a lot! It looks very simple but has a ton of depth. I can't say i've ever imagined what it would be like to be an air traffic controller but after playing your game i think i know how complicated it could be. Excellent submission!

Climb Mountain by Neeko69 2021-10-06T04:17:44Z

Unlike the othe commentors i never figured out how to climb properly. I tried jumping to other rocks but they soon fell below the the screen as well! Aww well, pretty cool submission!

Population Balance by benchase 2021-10-06T04:30:18Z

Didn't run so i deleted it, then i saw the instructions. I'll circle back around to it after i finish all of the other games i have to get to. I think an easier build wouldve been a good idea

A Gift in Good Faith by python-b5 2021-10-06T04:04:49Z

Cool entry! I tried so many times to get the pink gem and bring it to the castle but no luck. So i guess i got stuck on level 2. Perhaps we need more options for escaping the minotaur, perhaps if he didn't always know where i was, or sometimes if he went the wrong way that would help a lot. Good job on the submission

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Kiwis Can't Fly by DDRKirbyISQ 2022-04-13T02:51:34Z

An excellent entry! I don't know how far i got, but it felt like i was playing for a long time. The music and the art were very highly polished, great work!

STUDY LADY (cookie mix) by PeachTreeOath 2022-04-09T03:09:43Z

Amazing submission! My favorite out of the games i've played this far, i would not be surprised if this game won Ludum Dare this time around. Whoever did all of the marketing-related material like animated headers, backgrounds, logo art, you're amazing!

Dungeon Architect by kazuo256 2022-04-13T02:44:55Z

Great game! One of the few LD games that i played all the way to the end. Allllmost managed to get 3k as well. I was a little wasteful on one of the rounds. I like all the aspects, the music, the art and the design. Something you could improve on is giving the dungeon master something to do while the adventurers are clearing their way to the dragon. A little bit too idle :P

Solar Death by simex 2022-04-13T03:14:00Z

Amazing! I had lots of fun playing many times :D Definitely one of the best games i've played so far in LD50. You've created a really fun sandbox and cool trajectory stuff to mess around with

ReactorWrangler by Edmanbosch 2022-04-13T03:20:06Z

Not bad for a compo! I could barely understand the voiceover, it sounded like it had crazy peaks and crazy valleys. The game was pretty pretty snappy though!

Oh No, Earth! by JudgeZedd 2022-04-07T03:10:43Z

Managed to get 4760, not too bad :)

Great entry, not a whole lot to give feedback on. Perhaps it could've used some power ups or more variety, but the lack of those things is totally understandable during a jam

22h38 by Katutt 2022-04-09T02:14:55Z

Wow! Great submission! Unfortunately my arrow keys don't work very well so i gave up after reaching the mountain village :P

Crystalysis by jordantanner 2022-04-13T03:32:58Z

The particles were fantastic! The game itself wasn't too bad, but perhaps could've used some expanding, although im keenly aware that time is big factor with these jams :P Good entry!

You Will Fall by Yaen 2022-04-09T02:28:28Z

So, you think you can make it across huh? So, you think you can make it across huh? So, you think you can make it across huh? So, you think you can make it across huh? So, you think you can make it across huh? So, you think you can make it across huh? So, you think you can make it across huh?

Managed to get 38m then kept getting pushed off! I enjoyed playing though!

A Christmas Inevitable by Zephi_Sero 2022-04-09T03:26:28Z

Pretty good submission! It became problematic to hire more elves when all my cookies were being used up for research :((

Aster Defense by emrod 2022-04-09T03:34:09Z

Solid game! Once i surrounded my planet with turrets it was smooth sailing. All around great art, programming and SFX

Stay Safe by oxxar 2022-04-07T02:57:49Z

Nice submission! I managed to collect dozens of sticks before i got defeated :P

Tragedy on Tattle Row by Cievers 2022-04-09T03:19:08Z

Pretty good submission! It was fairly straight forward, just jump on the clock hands when they reach 11:45 then rinse and repeat. Could've used a little bit more gameplay :P

Light-Fingered by QuadApe 2022-04-07T02:54:55Z

Great entry! I managed to find three levers but couldnt find #3. This game looks great and has a cool concept, i wish sounds weren't so staticy tho :P

100 Seconds to Midnight by Substain 2022-04-09T02:32:54Z

Pretty good submission! Shout out to a fellow Canadian :D

QUADRATORUM by Blue Pin Studio 2022-04-05T07:37:33Z

@fruit-du-dragbane @chaoseiro @proxy-games @reronin Thanks so much! By the way, if you can't rate it please refresh in a bit. I'm trying to fix that. I somehow managed to set it to unfinished and i can't set it back to Jam :((

QUADRATORUM by Blue Pin Studio 2022-04-05T07:49:33Z

@hajpappan Thanks! Yeah, since the music makes the game function, when its too quiet some parts don't fire correctly.

@henrik-ganard The player character has a lot of health, you're meant to withstand a lot of enemy damage. :) Just lots of death and destruction! Thanks for playing :)

QUADRATORUM by Blue Pin Studio 2022-04-07T05:31:00Z

@sacredyouma Thanks for playing! Yeah it was generally balanced to ensure most people who want to will get to the end.

@dae-udain Thanks for the kind words! There actually is a health indicator, the circle in the middle of your character shrinks according to your remaining health. The health pool is very generous in order for more people to reach the end :)

QUADRATORUM by Blue Pin Studio 2022-04-07T08:22:30Z

@marvalgames Thanks! Dance the night away :)

@devzhrssh Thanks a lot! Yeah we only had time for three enemy types. Lots of room for improvement :D

QUADRATORUM by Blue Pin Studio 2022-04-09T19:43:35Z

@fulminderek Thanks a lot! So kind :)

@joshh Thanks a lot, im glad you noticed. This game is full of tiny things that will likely go unnoticed by most players.

@peachtreeoath Wow thanks! I really enjoyed your game and i thought it was super well made, so it means a lot coming from such a good designer.

QUADRATORUM by Blue Pin Studio 2022-04-09T19:45:25Z

@dingledorf Thanks! Im glad at least a few people managed to see the ending cutscene, i was starting to think it was wasted effort haha

@szkocka Thanks! It was my first time doing art for a game, wanted to keep it fairly minimalistic

@emaigualmc2-art All very good feedback! Thanks :D By the way, the game is entirely synced to music, the enemy spawn rate and your fire rate. You cannot shoot with the mouse buttons. Maybe you had your music volume too low causing rate issues. Afterall, its based on overall audio levels :P I wish i could've made a system to compensate for low system sound, but didnt have enough time

The Inevitable Blast! by Martin183 2022-04-09T02:38:27Z

Solid submission! I loved the art, whoever drew it is very good :D

It was very confusing when the cart got mirrored so i just stayed in the middle and shot water. Managed to get to 220 before stopping. :D Maybe some power ups or change after a minute would be nice

Ghost Caretaker by vidim888 2022-04-14T03:17:01Z

Great entry! The art, music and sound effects were amazing. Especially the Voice over :P The game itself however is verrry difficult. I was unable to spawn a decoy so perhaps that was the issue. Every death i only managed to dig one or two graves, the ghosts are just too damn fast :(

Terra Defensio by MrchickenBoy 2022-04-07T03:19:25Z

Cool submission! I loved the clap stem in the music, really lightened the mood :P It could've used a little bit more variation with enemies and powerups, but still a solid game all around

Running the Clock by Boykala 2022-04-07T03:44:19Z

Great entry! I managed to get to the end and see the massive count down timer :P The random props and buildings confused me a little bit but i managed to figure it out.

Un-Rooted by Denhette 2022-04-05T07:41:34Z

Great submission! It gets very hectic very easily haha

I love the whacky atmosphere and the sound effects. There was a little bit of difficulty picking up the watering can sometimes but honestly it was always my colleages that knocked over the plant before it managed to dry up anyway. :P

Somnipathy by Cyzaine 2022-04-13T04:38:22Z

Not bad! I had very little idea abotu what to do other than clicking and picking stuff up. I typically don't read anything outside of the game and let the game onboard me. Don't think that works in this case :P A good entry nonetheless

Free Gas (Save gas put car in Neutral) by Collin Visser 2022-04-07T03:39:29Z

This is a cool idea! I'm a sucker for driving games, especially non-racing ones. Good entry :D

Ultimate Tennis Championship 2K22 by hajpappan 2022-04-05T07:48:13Z

Wow! This game is very difficult. I died perhaps 20 times before i had a single rally back and forth. Eventually it gets easier, but not by much. I like this submission, small scope but very compelling concept.

Granting Immortality by BluishGreenPro 2022-04-13T03:28:36Z

Pretty nice entry! I was waiting to see how my choices would impact the ending, but unfortunately there wasn't anything. Perhaps if it wasn't a jam entry! :D

I chose:

For Love To Travel the Cosmos For Us

Hungry Hungry Bird by IanTheBee 2022-04-07T03:35:42Z

Great entry! I loved the squash and stretch and all of the art too. At first i was confused by why i lost, but then i remembered the theme :P Made it to 1:05~

Bitboy by Proxy-Games 2022-04-05T07:36:20Z

Overall pretty good game! It was a little bit heavy on the text in the beginning and could use a few more variety for obstacles but i had a good time. Managed to get 9k~ highscore, not sure if more is possible :P

Choboro by DaivyIsHere 2022-04-05T07:29:18Z

Awesome submission! I loved the sounds and all of the juicy feedback. The game gets pretty hard pretty quickly because of the gap that opens up. I managed to spam click the blue guy near the top to achieve this beautiful score. I doubt i can beat it :P

Capture.PNG

Delay Dragon by dindotjs 2022-04-07T03:28:03Z

Great entry! It took some time to master which direction to shoot the fireball but i love concept.

Nyan Tower by sacredyouma 2022-04-07T03:22:43Z

Great entry! I've never played a typing game that incentivizes typing with one hand before! I managed to get 1200 but it got very hectic haha.

Volcanic Dash by tested 2022-04-07T03:14:33Z

Really cool for your first jam! I've never seen a seesaw in a 2d platformer before, so that was cool :) The lava was very stressful because a single missed jump meant doom. Good stuff

Doomed Spacequest by FulminDerek 2022-04-09T02:54:52Z

Great game! It is brutally difficult though, my best record is surviving for a minute :P

The Adventure of a Lifetime by JamPaktGames 2022-04-21T19:28:02Z

This is a veryyyy good entry. One of my favorites out of the 40~ that i've played so far! Great work on everything including the art, animation, game design, audio and most importantly the story.

Morituri by omgitsleana 2022-04-07T03:04:02Z

Great entry especially for your first game :D

Orange MΓ©canique by Pommthur 2022-04-05T07:44:56Z

Wow! I love the aesthetic of this game, such vibrant colors :)

I have to admit, i got a little bit motion-sick while playing this game which i found highly unusual and surprising. I don't think i've ever been motion sick before while playing a game. Probably not your fault, just something weird is going on haha

Love the character, the peaches, great game!

Squartr by Anome 2022-04-07T03:32:12Z

Good effort! Could've used a bit more attention to decoration or maybe some powerups but its a good effort nonetheless.

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

TurnKee by StudioKraze 2022-10-19T07:09:53Z

The game was pretty decent. My favorite thing in this game was the art, it was really done.

I managed to get through the whole game, past the mummy and out the door. The thing is: i didn't actually kill anything except 1 ghost because he blocked me. The combat and coins in this game could've been left out and nothing is lost imo, maybe it would've been better if the monsters instantly killed you, so you could manuever around them. Therefore different monster designs, like ones that move twice and then pause, or some that move diagionally could've created interesting puzzles. Other than that, perhaps syncing the music to the timer would've been a nice touch too :D

I understand there isn't a ton of time to add stuff but i think saving time implementing xp, coins, and variable pathways could've been spent to spruce up the core gameplay loop! Looking forward to seeing your next entry hopefully in Ludum Dare 52 :D

Forging Through Fire by ryusui 2022-10-11T07:42:44Z

Love the game! Very nice! The level before the last one got super complicated but i just trusted that the path of the switches is linear and i managed to get through ok. Only died 7 times to get to the end, great entry!

Piggy Go Bye Bye by Keenan Woodall 2022-10-08T07:46:22Z

Awesome entry! This had it all, nice sounds, nice gameplay and tasteful graphics. The lightning strikes and multi-kills were very satisfying :D

miam by yopox 2022-10-12T04:58:40Z

score.PNG

I managed to get a decent score i think, although i don't really know what that font says! The game was very well made. I have issue with somee of the native keys for some words, like "N" for mushrooms or "A" for bacon or "S" for steak. I probably would've used "M" for mushrooms and "H" for *ham*burger haha. Good stuff tho!

Proxima by Ever 2022-10-12T04:48:52Z

This entry is decent but i would be worried about alientating people who can't read quickly. Outside of the possible accesability concerns, the game didnt seem to go anywhere. I answered what felt like 100 prompts and nothing ever seemed to matter. Eventually i stopped because i was worried it was just programatically giving my questions forever

Clock Caper by Ryan Dotsikas 2022-10-10T01:53:30Z

Wow this is possibly the best entry in the entire jam! Great work everyone involved. I love all aspects of it :D

Toys War Adventure by Curtis Pelissier 2022-10-10T02:05:39Z

Not bad at all! I had a hard time figuring out how to use the weapons and they sometimes didn't connect properly but overall its a good entry :D

Nova Pulse Bakery by WegPast 2022-10-12T05:26:09Z

Very nice entry! I found myself playing it way longer than i was planning on. Despite that, i barely managed to make one bread. I swear i lost 1000 resources to the fire :((

Night At The Orphanarium by michaelaranda 2022-10-12T05:10:35Z

Great game! one of my favorite from the jam so far. It was lots of fun and the right level of difficulty. Managed to get to day 14 and then i lost my last kiddo :(((

10 seconds Delirium by Furano 2022-10-12T06:51:55Z

Great entry! Unfortunately i wasn't able to read any of the therapy stuff because i was busy with the yin-yang. I found that the floating heads got stuck a lot behind objects and the sound effects stacked and amplified themselves. Other than those minor issues, the game was fun and overall it seems like a lot of stuff crammed in such a short dev-period! Good work

stopped.PNG

Elementary Defence! by Paulsams 2022-10-12T06:46:14Z

Nice entry! There is a ton of depth here regarding which combinations are possible, i even managed to find armagheddon which was nice! My favorite aspect is the art, its really well made

Panopticon by Blue Pin Studio 2022-10-04T00:36:14Z

@sean-esopenko @gryph0n The answer to the gun refresh is in the theme! :P I should've made it more clear

Panopticon by Blue Pin Studio 2022-10-22T12:44:12Z

**Ludum Dare has come to an end once again! Thank you all for your reviews. We had a great time playing your games and reading your feedback. I hope to see you all next time! In the meantime, I'm going to be hard at work on our steam game [Explory Story](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1626280/Explory_Story/) :D **

@anchorlight Thanks so much for your review, good to see you as always!

@ds-nahogara Yea! We tried to connect everything to the 10 second timer :)

@dragonslumber Hardcore you say? Thats probably a symptom of some sketchy colliders. Its not meant to be difficult.

@gabriel-chan Thanks for the review! Your game looks amazing, i won't be surprised if you win LD51.

@caeonosphere Hey, thanks for playing :D Yeah we probably should've given the player more direction inside each level. Other than aimlessly running around, there was no good way to navigate.

@tannimun Thanks for playing! Yeah the ammo counter & reload is something a lot of people mentioned. I didn't think it would be a big deal since the reload happens so frequently, but i've learned my lesson on that! xD

@chriswiseman Thanks for playing :D

@animawish Sucks to hear about the music :( Sometimes web exports are a little sketchy on different browsers. Aww well! Thanks for playing :)

@vladadamm Wow! Such a thoughtful review, thank you so much for playing! I'm glad that one of the biggest flaws was lack of levels haha

@ryusui Thank you so much! The music is probably the best part of the game in my opinion. Made by the very talented al

@nick-shooter Thanks for playing despite the challenge! I promise it wasn't meant to be overly challenging but im glad you liked it anyway

@benk Thank you very much! Yes, the music deserves a lot of praise in this one. Without it, we would've been screwed xD Oh and btw, I came up with rainbow and added it in the last hour of the jam, glad you liked it.

@jonah Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :)

@p-r Yeah, the dreaded ammo counter. We thought that refreshing the ammo every 10 seconds, as per the theme of the jam, was going to be sufficient. People have made it pretty clear that its not good enough! xD

@blacklambert Thanks for playing and the kind words :D

@jrevel Thanks for playing despite the difficulty! Some of the points you addressed were absolutely not meant to be in the game, like the unforgiving colliders. The player's collider is roughly 70% smaller than the player art, but the issue is the bullets sometimes go through edges due to their speed. Next time I'll make raycasts instead of counting on high-speed collision detection :P

@mackandrius Thanks for playing! We found it funny how many times people mention wanting to know when the eye will attack and when the ammo will reload. The answer is in the theme! Every 10 seconds xD

@joror Thanks for playing! Yeah, sound effects for shooting the gun would've made it in if we had a bit more time. The prototype sound we had for the gun sounded a bit weird and we didnt get around to making a different one. Next time!

@itooh Thanks so much for the kind words and feedback! Yeah, thats totally my fault regarding the bullets, they can sometimes hit you even though you're safe :(

@magicstunts123 Thanks a lot for playing :D

@lachlan-james Thank you very much! I'm glad you noticed that the music and the timer were synced (every 10 seconds).

@verbante Yeah, in retrospect I probably should've kept the paint visible forever. My initial concern was to mitigate lag, but i think it got in the way of fun for some people. That's something i'll have to consider more closely in the future. Fun vs Performance. Thanks for the review :)

@simplepotential Thanks for playing! Yeah, the gun reloads every 10 seconds. And the eye shoots every 10 seconds. We tried to connect as much stuff to the 10 second timer as possible, even the music!

@lorwon Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it. Some say its easy, some say its hard. I think you're in the minority that think its easy though, an expert! xD

@mortiss Thanks for playing & leaving a comment! :)

Line Momentum by Itooh 2022-10-11T07:47:13Z

Great entry! i was unable to surpass the first level, especially because the little ball goes away. I got pretty close but no cigar haha

Decrypt by Gabriel Chan 2022-10-08T07:39:27Z

Excellent game! It's really rare to see such a polished and fun experience in a weekend jam. The devs are rockstars!

Lex Temporis by ImmanentDeath 2022-10-12T04:41:45Z

Not bad! I wasn't sure what the theme had anything to do with it, but it was a solid entry, the art and sounds are well done :)

Clockwork by googlypoo 2022-10-10T01:46:35Z

Really nice work! Especially a compo game, my jaw dropped when i saw it was made a one person in 48 hours!

Clique Hell High by Sean Esopenko 2022-10-12T06:10:24Z

Pretty fun entry! It took me one death to figure out how the colors work, once i had that figured out it was a lot easier. I didnt manage to collect all of the items before i gave up but i did get a few. There's a lot of content here and lots of art, good work!

Two Tanks by K3y 2022-10-08T07:42:53Z

This was a brutal game! I gave it a few attempts and was never able to defeat the other tank. Each time i got ammo, he got a rocket. I managed to avoid his normal shooting because there is no turret prediction, but i wasn't able to make much progress either...

Solid entry for someone whos new! Keep it up :)

Platelet Commander by dandeliondino 2022-10-10T02:12:12Z

I remember learning about these spikey guys in biology, they pierce the blood and cause it clot. I was unable to do it though. Highly ambitious game with lots of cool art! :D

ScramBumble by robeecodes 2022-10-10T01:58:39Z

Nice game! At first i didnt fully know how to play but i managed to figure it out eventually. A pretty calm experience :)

ScramBumble by robeecodes 2022-10-11T07:32:09Z

@robeecodes for jam games i skip all of the writing outside the game. I hope to learn how to play the game inside the game :D

Fish Knight by DiscoMusic 2022-10-12T04:51:02Z

Not bad! The theme was incorporated well, but the camera getting stuck behind the wall constantly made it hard to have fun. Outside of moving and spamming shoot there wasn't much strategy or hazards, from what i could tell... All in all, it seems like a decent entry!

DO NOT PRESS THE BUTTON by Eugene An 2022-10-12T05:03:58Z

The entry is sort of weird, but i guess it works as art instead of a game meant for the user to have fun. The flying felt ok, but i was constantly clipping through props and terrain. Unfortunately a fly is unable to save the world :(

LD52 — Harvest

Seasons TD by thristhart 2023-01-21T10:51:21Z

Awesome! This was a great entry, possibly my favorite one of the jam and im 50~ games deep! If it wasnt for the comment above telling me i could sell my towers i would've rated it very low. Very nice! I managed to make it through the year with some rapid harvesting :D

Sodium Season by Mr_Field 2023-01-21T09:28:17Z

Really nice entry! The controls were not intuitive but once i sorted them out i had some fun. When the zombies used my bridge i was horrified! haha

Untitled Shooty Game 2: The Harvesting by hungryroy 2023-01-10T06:01:17Z

Great entry! I played it for way longer than i expected. I felt that it might've been a bit easy because eventually i was just blowing everything up and automatically picking everything up. Lots of fun tho :)

Bittersweet Harvest by moonlightbomber 2023-01-13T06:22:29Z

This was my first time playing a visual novel during ludum dare! I expected there to be choices but i was told by a friend that kinetic means "no choices"! How interesting! Cool submission!

Last Harvest by mahalis 2023-01-21T10:31:19Z

Umm, I don't understand the premise, and i dont understand the gameplay. BUT i love the graphics! The entry was pretty good!

Harvest Day by Linus Lindberg 2023-01-21T09:56:57Z

Nice entry! I didn't know you could rotate the fruits until level 6, but thats probably my fault, i didnt read any of the tutorials.

Lavender Fields Forever by Rongo Matane 2023-01-10T05:11:15Z

Great entry! I managed to grow and harvest my lavender while defending it. Unfortunately i was unable to figure out how the building worked, but based on the screenshots others provided it looks really cool! Hope you see this before more confused people come along

Bad Apples by paulstraw 2023-01-13T04:55:14Z

Great entry! There was a bit of jankiness with the car's movement and the boomerang kept getting stuck but i loved the game! I managed to get to 66 apples before one of those damned worms threw an apple directly into my truckbed. I'll admit the other 4 bad apples were my fault. After reading your blurb about commander keen, i had to give you a follow on twitter! What a guy, haha

The Wheat is Yellower by js_ 2023-01-10T05:17:05Z

So wait, we were harvesting the crops of some random guy?! Haha poor farmer, we stole all of his stuff. Pretty good entry! Some small things you could improve would be the antialiasing on the crops, it sort of hurt to look at them and the clarity regarding the mines. It took me a few deaths before i figured out what was happening.

Cahoots by Fuzzy Lobster 2023-01-21T09:20:50Z

Amazing entry! It gets really hard as you go on, the raccoons were taking so much stuff :D

The art and music in this game are excellent, great work!

Death In Time by Yorsh 2023-01-13T04:19:50Z

Great entry, especially for the compo period! This felt like it was the complete package, there was scoring, ranks, sound effects and nice graphics. I would've liked if the little guys aged a bit slower so i have time to plot a course and pick an order of operations for killing them.

Crop Circle by Rulrite 2023-01-13T05:46:05Z

Great entry! I managed to get a score of 1000 or was it 1001? i forgot :D Overall i enjoyed my time but it felt a little too chaotic and random, it seemed like i would score roughly the same if i was paying attention or if i was not. The art was off the charts tho!

Bank Harvester by malibaturhan 2023-01-21T09:32:50Z

Had no idea what to do! :(

Completely Normal Garbageman Simulator by SundanceKid 2023-01-13T04:39:36Z

Wow! i was completly shocked by the turn of events, very nice! I couldn't figure out how to collect bones so i was just running around sucking out organs xD Good entry!

Gun Harvester by The1 2023-01-10T05:46:45Z

Great entry! I managed to get to 30k score and eventually work my way up to a machine gun. At that point i thought i've seen it all and stopped playing. I really enjoyed it, at first i didnt notice there was a shop or the ability to plant. Thank god i saw the notes on the itch page!

Seeds Must Grow! by Neon Glass 2023-01-21T09:42:53Z

This was very difficult! I lost many many many times haha

Perhaps easing up on the difficulty would've been nice, great entry tho!

Grub Grab by ComicSans 2023-01-13T04:47:44Z

Cool submission! I died many times and restarted before i realised that i wasnt the character in red! I had to go back to the ludum dare page to read how to play so perhaps next time you can tutorial the game from within the game! Otherwise i think i managed to get like 19 points before dying, its pretty hard!

Harvest Urβ€Œanus πŸͺ by DataGreed 2023-01-10T04:44:20Z

I’m getting a 404 on the download link.

Basket Catch by Stefan Laimer 2023-01-21T09:40:12Z

Awesome! This is a very well polished jam entry. Limiting the amount of props i can place might've been a nice addition, but honestly its still pretty tricky despite not having any limits.

Scattered Seeds by tetrapteryx 2023-01-13T06:01:07Z

Solid entry! loved the little note at the end haha the honesty! It was a cool take on a standard platformer. The first level's duration was also very funny haha, literally 1 second level

Subnautilus by Guldfisk 2023-01-13T04:26:12Z

I had a lot of troubles with the controls. It turns out if you rush through the dialogue it'll open the shop and you'll be stuck on that screen. After restarting a few times i managed to get to the ship portion. I died shortly after and i couldnt restart the game by pressing R. It looks like im the only unlucky one, because everyone else in the comments was able to play :(

Fields of Fury by wheelsx 2023-01-13T05:06:26Z

Very cool! I found myself avoiding the combat and just running around until i was sufficiently lost at level 5. Btw, i loved that you started me on level 2 facing the wrong way, that was a really clever move! Excited to see what you come up with next!

Cardwork Cycle by Honey Pony 2023-01-21T08:38:51Z

Awesome entry! Its pretty hard, it took me a long time just to get a few gold pieces. Would be nice if the camera movement and plant actions were faster after the first day. I think i spent roughly 50% of my time playing waiting for the plants to fulfill their actions. The music and sfx was a good addition, looking forward to seeing your future entries!

Harvestar by CaptAndrey 2023-01-21T08:25:17Z

Pretty cool! I hope that the constellations i was learning are real ones, if thats the case: thanks! If not, thats too bad haha

7 days to harvest by fallcresthero 2023-01-13T05:31:32Z

Awesome! I never managed to get past the first level because of either being too quick and slamming into a rock or being too slow and getting caught by the little dudes. Great entry tho!

Plant Harvester by zimny11 2023-01-21T09:03:58Z

Great entry! I loved that the upgrades happened to me automatically, thats actually something i rarely see in games, its a great addition in this one.

I would prefer if the game was longer, perhaps the popcorn guy had more health or something. I wanted to keep playing! :D

Hotline Harvest by Skvader_418 2023-01-21T08:55:28Z

Nice! I managed to buy the winning ticket :D

I can't help but feel that this game could've been reskinned to fit any theme, instead of wheat it can be something else. While i spent a lot of time harvesting wheat, it was mostly about shooting. Including shooting the wheat! haha

It was a fun time nonetheless

Charles, the Bee by Blue Pin Studio 2023-01-28T20:01:36Z

@cassreads Thanks so much! Nice job being the first review, you're quick haha

@yorsh I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yea we tried to make at least two distinct sections, glad it wasnt entirely botched :D

@oxxar Haha thanks! Its always hard to judge our own voice acting, it always seems corny. But im glad it came across well!

@achilnos Thank you very much!

@socsob Haha im glad it wasn't entirely lost on the players. Its a fairly old reference at this point xD

@ninten7 Thanks! Im glad the two parts made sense together :D

@jellzilla Aww thanks! The art was made by Gina and it was her first time making art for a game, it turned out really well!

@rustynoob If you're not a fan of rhythm games and still managed to have fun, thats a big win for us! And yeah, we agree about the pollen, it will be adjusted :)

@paulstraw Thank you so much! According to you, each of the team members did really well, which i agree with 100% :D

@mrs-wheelsx Thank you very much!

@dzejpi Thanks a lot! Thanks for your suggestions regarding visual feedback, we will certainly work on it :)

@rrsmtz Yeah thats the feeling i got too, in subsequent versions we'll tone done the volume of pollen you have to collect and try our best to make the collection period more varied and interesting. Thanks for playing & feedback!

@zungryware Wow! Thanks so much for writing such nuanced feedback, this is a lot of useful stuff for us while we make the next version :) Im glad you enjoyed it, and i fully agree on your points about player feedback and pacing.

@joanna-skorupa Thanks a lot! Yeah we were working with a really good pace. Usually the first night is a write-off while we come up with ideas, but this time around we already had a small demo in the first few hours, that helped a lot. We are likely going to continue working on the game, so your feedback regarding connecting the two parts will be taken to heart!

@fallcresthero Thank you very much! Yeah the harvesting parts are a bit bland, we'll definitely address that in future versions :)

@durkagames You love charles! We love charles! Thanks a lot for playing and great job on your own bee game, very productive bees you have there, unlike our dancing guy haha

@milq Thanks a lot! Oh wow, thats not actually something we considered, definitely worth looking into different types of bees, thanks for the suggestions :)

@rulrite Thank you so much! I'm glad you were able to beat it too :) Thanks so much for the feedback and support!

@diana-shuke Thanks for the compliments :D Yes, a few others have pointed that out too, we'll address it to the best of our abilities in future versions

@lila-pause Haha thank you very much. In the same way as probably everyone else, i was uncertiain if the voiceacting was any good, glad you thought it was :)

@flaming-aardvark Thanks so much and im glad you still managed to get the beeadge xD

@sparkingsushi Thanks so much! Yeah splitting the game into two, was a bold decision. I'm not sure we did the two sections justice, but we aim to make both sections better with future versions.

@itsboats Thank you, thank you! Im glad you appreciated the steps we took to make the world more alive, we're hoping to do more of that. Thanks for those points of improvement, i will implement most of those right away, I can't believe i didnt think to do that myself :D

@hungryroy Thanks, i agree! The dancing is substantially more fun. We're going to aim at improving the harvesting section dramatically, tahnks for your feedback.

@silurus Thanks a lot! The night scene is very nice, i love it too :)

Charles, the Bee by Blue Pin Studio 2023-01-28T20:02:17Z

@tetrapteryx Thats so nice to hear, thank you! Yes the bee compass definitely needs to be more obvious. It was sort of a last-minute addition so it didnt have a ton of thought put into it unfortunately. We will improve it for future versions. Thanks for your feedback!

@senso Thanks a lot :D Thanks for the feedback and kind words.

@killian0213 If we can't dance, then what can we do?! Haha, thanks for the kind words :)

@matank Thanks a lot, glad you thought the two sections worked nicely together. We've written down your feedback and will implement changes to address it, thanks so much for taking the time to help us.

@yellow omg its yellow! You're in our game! So nice to see you again xD Thanks for playing

@froissant Yeah the harvesting section was not as fun as we would've liked. Its definitely getting a substantial overhaul in the new versions, thanks for playing and leaving feedback!

@steffo Thanks a lot :D Glad you liked it

@mrchickenboy Always nice to see a familiar face! I hope to see you again in the next ludum dare. I liked your game and im glad you liked mine :D Thanks for the feedback, we're going to work on that stuff for the future builds.

@daveco Thanks a lot! Im glad the two genres combined didnt clash, it was something we were worried about. You're right about the feedback, we'll try our best to address that in future builds of this game :)

@terranb Haha, glad you liked it! Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing :)

@chum-chum Aww thanks! Yeah the art is possibly the best part of the game. Charles is simply too handsome :D We'll look into addressing the control issues, thanks for bringing it up and thanks for playing.

@skvader-418 It slaps! haha thanks for the kind words :)

@bloodfin Wow! there's so much good advice and feedback here, thanks so much for taking the time to leave this amazing message. Im glad overall you liked it and we'll try to improve the game using your feedback as much as we can!

@honey-pony Omg another user that left such amazing feedback! Im honored you took the time to leave such detailed and insightful information. Thanks so much for playing and we're going to try our best to address the things you mentioned regarding feedback and the music portion in general.

@captandrey Thanks a lot for playing and leaving feedback. We'll have to address those minuses haha

@fluburbio Thanks a lot! Your feedback will be taken into consideration, thanks for taking the time to help us improve the game. Hopefully you didnt mind the Bee Movie part too much xD

@shiiro-10psi Thanks alot! Im glad you liked it and im happy to see your kind words

@haotian-chen handsome handsome! :D Thanks for the kind words

@zimny11 Haha thanks a lot, im glad at least a few people enjoyed the "not play" button :) Thanks for giving the game a shot despite the genre mismatch.

@jvdwijk Surprise rhythm game! Im glad you enjoyed it overall, and great work succeeding at the music bits. Thanks for your feedback and thanks for playing

@ava-skoog Your comment is overall nice and fairly polished too, haha. Thanks so much for leaving such nuanced feedback and helping us improve the game. We're definitely looking at ways to make the two segments more cohesive and generally improve both of them on their own too.

Harvest Dune by rrsmtz 2023-01-13T05:24:50Z

Awesome! At first i thought i kept losing to the worm but it turns out i was actually successfully escaping! Managed to get 600 spice as my best run. Really cool!

Farm Patronum! by MrchickenBoy 2023-01-21T23:13:05Z

Eyyy! Nice to see ya, i saw your comment on my game :D I gave this one a try and i loved a lot of stuff you had going on, the juicy SFX and particles were a nice touch. I thought the movement of myself and the creatures was great too. However, i noticed that the gameplay doesnt really change, it seemed like my score is basically determined by my patience. I stood in the field and shot bugs until i got bored.

The difficulty didnt seem to increase and there was no incentive for me to move. Perhaps some powerups that spawn and increasing difficulty would've taken this game into the next level!

The Heat by DzejPi 2023-01-13T05:14:07Z

Really nice! After my first failed attempt i came back armed with knowledge and a plan. I quickly divided the crops into the crops i was willing to lose and the protected ones. That way eventually the fire went out and i still had a ton of crops left. I didnt bother harvesting all of them because it would've taken me a long time due to the slow walking speed. Great entry!

Fairy Fang - The Tooth Harvester by boostas 2023-01-13T05:51:10Z

Thank god i saw @jitspoe 's comment before i played! The attack speed upgrades made it smoooooooth sailing! Great entry :D The art on the title screen was amazing haha

Carrot by itsBoats 2023-01-10T04:54:53Z

Great entry! I love the art and sound effects, it was very well polished and executed :) The bigger bats were a menace haha

Hearty Harvest by Tobius 2023-01-21T10:11:05Z

The entry was not bad, personally i don't enjoy the art because its blatantly made by an A.I in most cases. As far as the gameplay goes, I had much better luck spamming random buttons than actually trying to figure out what to do. Overall i would say its a nice entry but the gameplay needs a bit of work :D

HarvestCrisis by tyin 2023-01-21T10:23:16Z

Great entry! Unfortunately i wasnt able to break through whatever the brown thing at the top was, but i enjoyed my time nonetheless. This game had a great mix of fun physics, progression and an end goal :D

The Circular Reaper by greenphox 2023-01-10T04:48:47Z

The entry was pretty good! I was still able to move around and get points after dying, but other than that, it was a smooth experience!

EarthWorm Bob by Senso 2023-01-13T06:27:21Z

Great entry! It was very hectic but i got the hang of it. Those damn beetles!

Soullector by milq 2023-01-13T05:41:32Z

Good entry, especially for compo! It was very brutal for me because everytime i barely touched an enemy i restarted. I managed to play a few times before i've decided ive seen it all. The witch enemy is super fast!

Poo Farmer by Pyspher9 2023-01-21T08:46:11Z

Nice entry! There was so much shit all over the place haha

The gameplay can be improved by making it slightly easier to kill fleeing goblins, and probably making the map smaller. Oh and btw, i think i spent the first 5 minutes without realising i wasnt depositing my poo and was just throwing it away. Having the controls appear in game at some point might've been useful, although its possibly i missed them.

Either way! This was a great game!

Hivesters by HexStart 2023-01-10T05:33:10Z

Really excellent submission! So far its the best game i played. The bugs were a little hard to control, but i guess thats par for the course when you're attempting to control bugs. I found that the game is a lot more managable when i sent a few bugs in advance, harvested as much as i could, and then used the remainder to plow through everything.

The game was fun enough that i wanted to play until the end and beat the Capital level, great work!

Harvest Slave by Gotanod 2023-01-21T09:10:24Z

I think ive gone into every room and then i died. Not sure what to do or how to play :( The environments looked nice tho!

Chronos: Harvest Time by Flaming Aardvark 2023-01-13T05:56:38Z

Bruuuutal difficulty! But i managed to get 6 crops haha.

Honey Inc. by DurkaGames 2023-01-13T05:38:32Z

A fellow bee game! Great entry, it was brutal because i never managed to make any honey but i did a few laps around the office. I didnt notice at first that i could press the keys in the correct order and ignore the timing, i thought it was a rhythm game. :D

Reap What You Sow by Ninten7 2023-01-13T04:42:49Z

Well i managed to fill up my blue bar multiple times and yet i was unable to kill the nasty grim reaper! He was brutal! It took me a while to figure out i didnt need to use the bridge haha, good stuff!

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Barn by Lila Pause 2023-01-13T05:54:26Z

Couldn't figure out how to get the soil goin' or plant any crops. I tried everything!

EggMan by Indronna 2023-01-21T09:15:46Z

So many bugs! haha it was pure chaos! nice entry :D

Harvest Shroom by Achilnos 2023-01-13T04:34:57Z

Great entry! I too, had no idea how to decide which shrooms to eat so i just randomly picked them until i passed the level. I eventually had to stop playing because it was taking too long to brute force the level with all of the red mushrooms xD. A tutorial would've been great but i can see how leaving it up to us is a good call too!

Money grows on trees by Fluburbio 2023-01-21T08:04:36Z

Awesome entry! The amount of depth for the upgrades was more than i expected and the art was really well done too :D

Down to Earth by Chum Chum 2023-01-10T05:02:03Z

Great entry, especially considering compo! I managed to get 2200 points despite not fully knowing what was going on. I looooved the watermelon shot, it was very rewarding :)

Combine Competition by CuteSquirrel 2023-01-13T04:58:52Z

Very cool! I loved the chaos that all the sound effects caused. Unfortunately i ran off the screen before i could complete the level, but i had a good time nonetheless! Excited to see what you come up with next in Ludum Dare 53 :)

Deep Harvest VII by Bloodfin 2023-01-13T04:14:59Z

Good entry! I love the voice acting, it was well done! The game got a bit stale, i was thinking something would attack me or something but overall i still thought the game was memorable

LD53 — Delivery

Pneumatic Postman by klausklapper 2023-05-09T05:59:12Z

Oh man! This game was very hard and very loud :P I didnt manage to get past day 1, I just shipped out the first package when the game told me i lost and blew out my ear drums haha

The title screen in this game is one of the best ones ive seen in any game jam and the game looked like a lot of effort and fun once you get the hang of it. A more gracious intro would've gone a long way tho

Tight Five: Still Alive by weeping-rupee 2023-05-09T08:58:27Z

I had a hard time figuring out how to play. I managed to play some cards but most of them had to be face down. I was only able to flip two cards. The idea is very interesting tho! A deckbuilder comedy game :)

Animal Ferry by Tony Li 2023-05-03T01:13:20Z

Awesome entry! At first i was confused about what to do (because i never read the Itch or Ludum pages) but i got the hang of it pretty quick! I accidentally went back to the main menu on, what i assume, was the last level and i couldnt easily go back to it :(

I had a good time playing!

Devilery by AltTabber 2023-05-09T05:41:47Z

Decent entry! I had a lot of trouble confirming prompts with the spacebar, it seemed like it only worked half the time. I managed to get the letter ending tho, so i guess i won? :D

Squaregot Survivor by cdunham 2023-05-03T03:38:45Z

I played all the way until the end and i didn't even realise how much time has gone by. I imagine the real life version of this game isnt very relaxing, but this was! : )

Finicky Delivery AI - ChatGPT Powers This Game! by DGSpitzer 2023-05-03T02:31:30Z

Great entry! At first i didnt realise what was happening, but i caught on. I did one playthrough as a normal player but my soul was crushed. I was forced to relive my customer service days and it felt bad. The redeeming part of the game was trying to subvert the language model to ignore the video game protocol. I managed to get it to admit its in a video game and it started apologizing to me for wasting my time :D Pretty cool!

Delivering Justice by IgorFolz 2023-05-03T03:03:11Z

It was a lot of reading with almost no agency on my part. The only thing i could do in the entire game was click "guilty" or "not guilty" and we dont even get to find out if i made the right decision. I would say this game is very light on gameplay.

The writing and art was good tho!

Derry by Rakowu 2023-05-03T02:17:57Z

Welp! That was a long and strange trip. Why am i a blueberry? Why am i progressing through the game? I wasn't sure until i saw the message and the flower at the end. At that point, i was even less sure.

Anywho! I saw the game was made by 1 person for compo which is very impressive! some small points of feedback i have: - make the rocks less slipery - ensure the player's feet are actually touching the ground visually - skip picking up water and seeds, if theres no limit, might as well let me used it in an unlimited fashion

I had a great time!

Sunshine Trial by ardorugus 2023-05-03T02:55:46Z

I didnt understand how to play, and the instructions were not in english :( the cover looked appealing tho!

Neo City Express by Pedro Medeiros 2023-05-09T08:01:30Z

Amazing! This felt like an entire large game. Its incredible how much y'all got done in such a short window. My favorite part was the massive list of drugs in the credits, those were very well named :D

Robot Delivery Run by cireneikual222464 2023-05-03T01:37:17Z

I tried my best, but i wasn't able to get anywhere near the goal. Sometimes i wondered if my inputs were doing anything at all :O

Snapdash by caeonosphere 2023-05-09T08:12:16Z

Great entry! Especially for a compo game. I had a lot of fun playing. The little speedboost after handing in a block was a nice touch

Beetle Dynasty by Hakro 2023-05-09T08:05:23Z

Short and sweet! It could've used something extra, like maybe a timed element or something.

Dragon Express by raptor851 2023-05-09T05:46:56Z

Not bad! Seems very ambitious for a game jam, seems like it had a lot of systems. I didn't really get a chance to play it properly because the controls and mechanics were confusing to me. Perhaps something with a little bit LESS systems next time! :D

Space Delivery by Kirbloid 2023-05-03T03:10:26Z

Nice! i managed to get 920 score. Overall it was a great experience, a few little nitpicks that i had: - The color of the package didnt seem to affect which planets i could deliver to - The turret rotated too slowly. I understand the need for precision movements, but perhaps it could get faster over time as you held down the button

:D

De-Liver by AlexFSmirnov 2023-05-09T06:36:56Z

Really good entry! Loss after loss, i kept coming back to play more :D I thought it was really clever that the knife upgrades shrank the organs, thats a really good way of making it easier within the existing systems

Beelivery by BackwardsCap 2023-05-09T08:40:56Z

Not bad! The projectiles and enemies were kind of small, and i didnt have a lot of ammo, which made the later levels very difficult! I had a lot of fun flying around like a little bee tho!

The Curse of Sentience as a Delivery Box by vfewa 2023-05-03T01:31:09Z

I made the mistake of sliding the volume slider all the way to the right. It blew out my eardrum. That was not a pleasant experience. The game however, was alright! Managed to get to the end and got my package delivered in 3-5 days

Chain Mail by AdamCYounis 2023-05-09T08:54:05Z

Wow! The art and the music were very well made! I didnt manage to rescue the kindgom from the enchantress, despite finishing all the missions so i must've missed something. Overall, i think the gameplay was a bit lacking because it didnt feel like i was making meaningful decisions or being rewarded for them, not to mention the lack of any viseral gameplay like shooting or platforming. I think with a few small tweaks to the gameplay loop this could be a top notch game!

Overtime at the Tetromino Factory by Tim Sims 2023-05-03T02:36:56Z

Very cool! I've never played a tetris game where i had to craft my own blocks before :D

A Wolf's Riposte by Wolfier 2023-05-03T01:35:07Z

I didnt really understand how to play. I ran and i ran, then got killed by ninjas. I tried using an attack, but that reduced my health and didnt really help with the ninjas :(

** Thank you so much for playing our game and leaving feedback! This Ludum Dare was a blast, in part thanks to you all! Myself and the people involved are always cooking something up, so look forward for more stuff in the upcoming Ludum Dares. Hope to see you soon, and if you want to support any of our projects, check out the discord or steam pages https://discord.gg/GtcKH3V6GZ https://store.steampowered.com/developer/BluePinStudio/ **

@migcreatesgames Nice to see you again! Thanks for feedback, we'll definitely fix the gun before we publish the game to other web poratls. Hope all is well with you, and im excited to see you in the next LD

@tony-li Yeah we can see that the way the gun shoots is the number one problem, we'll make sure to address it. Thanks for playing and the feedback

@themule Indeed! Yeah we arbitrary decided to use a gameboy advanced (if i recall correctly) resolution but didn't really tune the sprites to fit in that resolution correctly. Perhaps i can just zoom out the combat stage a bit and no1 would fault us haha

@ruruie Thanks for the feedback! Yeah the physics that Construct 3 provides us might need some manual tweaking, ill keep that in mind for the future projects

@torculus Thanks a lot! This was Manisha's first attempt at being the dedicated artist for a game jam, we all think she did great!

@wolfier 9 points is the maximum! Perhaps we should've made that more clear haha. Congrats and thanks for leaving great feedback

@cireneikual222464 Tough username to type, but i think i nailed it haha. Thanks for feedback! We'll fix up the gun, i promise!

@kinart haha Thanks! They were originally colored as nerf darts but we changed them to fit with the limited color pallette we were using. Glad someone noticed, you have a keen eye!

@nikkunakku Great suggestion! I will definitely implement both of those things before we publish the game elsewhere. Thanks for playing and leaving feedback

@rakowu Thanks for the feedback! We'll try to do something about that pesky phyiscs stuff. Glad you enjoyed it though!

@dgspitzer 7 out of 9. Not bad at all! Thanks for playing and leaving a note

@spacespytv Thank you sir! A compliment from a BAFTA winner. I'll print it out and pin it up on my wall :D

@nuin Thank you so much!

@alttabber Thanks a lot! Yeah we can add a few extra items and it might be a fun lil' game afterall!

@raptor851 Thanks for leaving the feedback! I suspect the reason you had a lot of lag is because hardware acceleration (GPU rendering) wasn't enabled on your browser. At least i hope thats the case, because it would suck if it was something else :(

@chris-chen Thanks! We'll take the critism into account when making a post-jam update. Im glad you liked the extra little stuff we did with the bullets. Perhaps we spent a bit too much time on them, considering the other stuff people had problems with xD

@luxiffre Wow! This is a fantastic list. I agree with all four bullet points. I'll try to figure something out to address them. The riddles may stay trivial though, its hard making something not too easy and not too hard xD

@klausklapper Thanks! We have plans to make a post-jam patch that includes a bunch of feedback from people in the comments here, and stuff we didnt have time to get to. We'll post this onto several different web portals and we'll update the itch version. Follow the itch account to get notified! Thanks a lot for the kind words

@boeruchan Thank you! :)

@sdelay Thanks for taking the time to leave us lots of feedback, this is very helpful. You managed to get 9 out of 9 points, congrats!

@volkolak Thanks :D

@alexfsmirnov Thank you so much for the feedback and the compliments, this is my 10th game jam. I've managedd to get faster and faster and prioritize things better. Having a great team doesnt hurt either. We effectively have 4x the manpower of a single dev. Cool that you picked up on the enemies not damaging you immediately, this a feature i put in to avoid frustration when players only slightly run into monsters, i wanted there to be a "damage coyote time" if you know what i mean.

@ardorugus Thanks! We'll try to add some lore for the upcoming post-jam patch.

@MadR Thanks for the kind words and feedback!

@aviv-levy Thanks for the feedback! The original level duration was meant to be 60 seconds but we accidentally made a track that was too long and wanted to coincide the end of the track with the end of the level. We'll fix this up for the upcoming post jam patch and keep in mind for future jams.

@ryder-the-first Thanks for playing! Yeah we'll have to fix up that bubble(?) gun, it seems to be the number one thing people didnt quite like.

@kirbloid Thank you very much! Im glad you enjoyed all the elements. We worked really hard over the weekend.

@initialposition Nice to see you again sir! Thanks for dropping by and leaving some feedback. Getting a compliment about particles from the particles master himself is a true honor.

@dominikam33 Thanks for playing and leaving a comment! :D

@arya-s The one and only Arya! Thanks for playing and leaving some feedback. Yeah we might have to zoom out a bit during the combat sections, it seems that lots of people had a similar sentiment.

@Hakro Thanks! We worked really hard throughout the weekend to add as much content and polish as we could. Your comment is the best reward :D

@skvader-418 Yup! That's 9 out of 9. Perhaps we should've made that more clear haha. Thanks for playing and leaving feedback

@cdunham Thanks for playing and dropping by! Yeah the riddles were pretty easy. They were meant to be more obscure but didn't fully get a grasp on that side of the game before it was too late :P I will definitely use your feedback for the powerups when we make the post-jam version

@bassilij Thanks for playing and leaving feedback!

@david-yates Beautiful comment! Thanks of for playing and leaving your feedback. I agree that the framing is arbitrary and didn't really connect. Perhaps we're going to set up a garage sale for the devil, where he sells random items. Needs more workshopping for sure...

@caeonosphere 9 out of 9! Nice work! Yeah we'll definitely do something to adress the feeling people get when playing where theres not enough space on the screen to see the enemies coming.

Airdrop by Quinn_Patrick 2023-05-03T03:20:28Z

I loved the funny scenarios! Great work, especially for a compo game :D Unfortunately i got stuck on the level with the dog. Eventually i figured out i could control the dog too, but i was no good

Shattered Reflections by Perrin 2023-05-09T08:24:44Z

I see people typing that there was multiple puzzles? Well i guess ill never see them! I talked to everyone and clicked on everything and can't figure out the initial puzzle :(

Shattered Reflections by Perrin 2023-05-09T15:47:32Z

@perrin i saw, but i dont know the solution, i entered a few things but couldnt make sense of it. The closest i could make sense of the story was that she did something to someone and ran away? Not sure!

Excellent entry! One of my favorites of the jam. It was calm, it was fun. My only complaint is that the game gets so difficult that its impossible to go any further. Maybe some upgrades, or some sort of ceiling towards how many nodes can be spawned or something :D

WitchDelivr by alpacalypse 2023-05-03T01:24:24Z

Awesome entry! I had a good time playing, i managed to rack up a loooooot of tips :)

Some small things that i think can improve the game a lot : - Make the scene night time instead. There are awesome neon signs that would definitely look better against a black background - Remove the big wall of text at the beginning, i think the game doesn't really need explaining. Its simply flying from point A to point B :)

Great entry, hope to see more of y'all next time around

Paddy's Portage by Spacespytv 2023-05-03T02:32:28Z

Nice entry! I managed to get to the end, but there were some hiccups. Luckily i managed to get a hold of you for some assistance :D

As always, the juice and gameplay are on point!

DelEvery by Bassilij 2023-05-09T06:25:43Z

This was an interesting entry! I think it could've been way better if i had a little bit more time to judge and i also hardly ever ran into something that was hell worthy : P

Great work!

Air Fast Chaos by MadR 2023-05-09T06:53:39Z

Great entry! I had a lot of fun, got to the fourth or fifth level.

I think the tutorial screen at the beginning wasn't neccesary. I skipped it and still found no trouble playing the game. Perhaps in the future you can look at ways to teach the player how to to play instead of showing a giant wall of rules :D

POSTMAN by arya-s 2023-05-09T06:43:55Z

Really good entry, especially for a compo! I had a lot of trouble at the last level for whatever reason, luckily someone else told me how to do it. Perhaps something can be done about how obtuse the solution is despite it being a relatively early level. Who knows!

Excited to see your next entry

Hear Ye! by krummja 2023-05-03T01:47:52Z

Nice submission! Unfortunately i missed the first piece, i didn't realise until i got to the end because i thought the first piece i picked up was the first one in the level, since it filled up the first slot :( Welp, i went through the entire game twice forwards and once backwards :D

Btw, i didnt realise i could toot until i came to rate the game, went back just to listen to it, great addition!

Return back to sender by Migcreatesgames 2023-05-03T01:02:43Z

Nice! I think i got around 2500 before i wanted to check out the lose condition. Its a short experience that could've used more variation. Maybe different types of boxes that you don't want to hit, or some sort of powerups.

A very ini tiny mini mail turtle game by Boeruchan 2023-05-09T06:03:08Z

Surprisingly short! It could've been great with a bunch of different levels, but kudos to anyone who decides to do Compo, its very hard.

Deliver Us From Evil by Tobius 2023-05-09T08:27:26Z

Loved the art and the design of the game, but the execution was a bit frustrating. It was suuuuper hard to throw the item properly :(

Airplane Delivery by taran95 2023-05-03T03:12:20Z

Can't play :( The screen is all black with a hud in the top right.

Oliver the Bartender by sdelay 2023-05-09T06:21:53Z

Really good entry! Especially for a compo entry. I managed to get around 430 coins before i stopped, had all the upgrades too :) I noticed that sometimes even though i had water on my tray, the customers weren't taking it :(

Either way, really good game! Great work

Saving Captain Cino by StudioCherno 2023-05-09T07:36:44Z

I wandered around for a bit and then i stopped playing. I popped up the compass but i must've been going the wrong way. I loved the chaos of all the people shooting at me, but it was clear right away that they pose no threat.

The game looks really cool! Excited to see what you guys cook up next.

Cow Heist: Space Delivery Mission by mrScom 2023-05-03T03:45:19Z

The hitboxes in this game were frustrating, i kept failing even tho i was miles away from the rocks. The delay in the shooting was also adding to the overall frustration. However, i still played a dozen or so rounds. The art is very good and made me want to keep playing

Duke Burger by x16 2023-05-09T08:33:24Z

Nice game! Unfortunately i got stuck at a part that involved a far jump :( i loved how authentic the game felt to old school games

Onboard Hell by Blublu 2023-05-03T03:29:15Z

Very well done! I might've appreciated a version of this game that had a little bit more fuel. Or perhaps i should get some more dicipline and lay off the throttle :D My favorite game in the jam thus far!

Dead-End Delivery by RobotChimp 2023-05-03T01:57:36Z

Awesome entry! It was hard to drive at first, but eventually i got the hang of it and earned a respectable (i think) $3280~

I think it could be imrpoved a bit by zooming out slightly more based on speed, i saw you guys were doing that already but perhaps not enough. I ended up ramming into things that i couldnt even see because i was too far zoomed in.

I had a blast tho! One of the best jam entries i'll see this time around, i reckon!

Yuki's mystery by Sevla 2023-05-03T02:46:09Z

The game was alright, the notes were written as if something incredible was about to be revealed to me but i wasn't particularly scared or surprised. I would say the graphics were the best part, but they were just copy-pasted from a website.

Astro-Web Deliveries by Ryder the First 2023-05-09T07:12:31Z

Great entry! Especially for 12 hours! I flew around a lot longer than i thought, that movement trail is very satisfying

Rain Sleet Zombies by SoloAdventurerGames 2023-05-03T02:39:09Z

Not bad for a first entry! Hope to see you return and make more in the future. Improving each time you do ludum dare is all that matters :D

RELEASE THE MEAT by NuiN 2023-05-03T04:02:14Z

Fantastic entry! It takes great courage to make a game where players build stuff, i applaude you 100%. My first 5/5 for fun and overall :)

Solar Eclipse by Luxiffre 2023-05-09T05:52:35Z

Pretty good! I managed to get pretty far but then i think i reached a part that had an impossible jump? At least i couldn't get past it. I also noticed a bug where enemies can send you flying off the screen. And the double jump button was a bit clumsy to press (q).

Despite that, its a solid effort and i'm looking forward to next entry!

Valhalla Calling by Aviv Levy 2023-05-09T07:00:15Z

Really good entry! Unfortunately i have a personality where i refuse to block and dodge, so i didnt get very far. Only beat 5 waves. Its the same problem i have with dark souls haha.

I loved all the aspects of the game tho, great work

Am I your "Type"? by pralista 2023-05-03T02:52:48Z

Not bad! Unfortunately i wasn't able to type whatever i wanted, i was going to try to freestyle my own flirting :D

Parcel Trouble by DominikaM33 2023-05-09T06:44:38Z

Can't play the game :(

Dronazon by theMule 2023-05-03T01:15:56Z

Not bad! I managed to get a drone following me around because i think i picked up his box. but i dropped it and managed to continue playing .Its very hard to beat the computer drone :( Nice entry!

Banana Delivery by Jojo4511 2023-05-09T07:29:59Z

Didn't know how to play

LD54 — Limited Space

Spacetour Express by RenD 2023-10-05T07:06:22Z

Solid game! I managed to get 144. I had a good time and the art was very nice. I would've preferred a slightly more gentle difficulty curve, but thats mostly because i want to play more!

Diminutive Dungeon by Rose 2023-10-06T06:26:08Z

Amazing game! Its incredible how much you were able to accomplish by yourself in such a short time frame. Really great work!

Limited Ssssspace by Quoclon 2023-10-06T07:17:14Z

Awesome game, i managed to get to 5341! Its really unfortunate that i lose so much of my tail when something hits me from far away, but i guess nothing can be done! :P

Gulvis Journey by J0ye 2023-10-05T06:28:28Z

Awesome! My favorite part was how you dealt with the swords. It really made the chicken feel like a ninja

S.P.A.C.E. Ltd. by thormoth 2023-10-06T06:40:45Z

i couldnt move the drone so i couldnt get past the first level. Looked pretty promising tho!

ROOMGUN by Hydezeke 2023-10-04T11:16:50Z

Awesome! i didnt manage to get past the guy who spins with two sticks and shoots.

The learning curve was a bit brutal because the bullets and gun doesnt work the same as FPS games im used to, but perhaps thats on purpose to increase difficulty.

Had a blast tho! Great work.

Haxwell Modem: Beyond the Firewall by shaner421 2023-10-06T07:22:09Z

Awesome entry, i only figured out about the Spacebar menu and how to use after 3 deaths, but better late than never! : ) Good entry, it was solid all around

Give Me Money by kairuma 2023-10-04T10:55:37Z

Really good! I stayed a lot longer than i thought i would. Such an excellent result for 48hrs solo.

RAMpage by Blue Pin Studio 2023-10-03T05:22:45Z

@pen-island-games Thanks! Yeah the background took a while to get right. Probably took like 10% of the total dev time.

@maximevincent Thanks :D

@matthew-bond Thank you very much. Yeah there was no way to swap or switch the files once you placed them. Perhaps we went too hard on the theme of Limited Space :P

@heytherewill Thanks a lot! Yeah the tutorial was left for the end, and unfortunately got pushed off the schedule by bigger issues

@gabriel-chan Nice to see ya Gabe, hope all is well. Thanks for the feedback!

RAMpage by Blue Pin Studio 2023-10-08T05:17:16Z

@lincolnsalles There are 10 levels, you have to hit the begin button again once you're ready. :)

RAMpage by Blue Pin Studio 2023-10-08T05:17:38Z

@steffo Nope! Just a time-crunch induced bug im afraid

RAMpage by Blue Pin Studio 2023-10-21T19:54:56Z

Thank you very much for everyone who played and rated the game! We'll see you in the next Ludum Dare with something awesome. In the meantime, if you want to support our commercial games, there's an upcoming steam game called Charles the Bee that could use some love :) https://store.steampowered.com/app/2485090/Charles_the_Bee/ ###

@langit Amazing thanks for supporting Manisha (and the people she collabs with) :P

@dreamscale Thanks! Yeah, that was probably the greatest downfall, not being able to move the files. We took Limited Space a bit too seriously

@blinyadebil Thank you! (Love the username btw, as a fellow russian speaker). Yeah, the space was....limited.... xD

@cobaltjt Thanks a lot, we probably put the most effort into the aesthetics. Slightly at the cost of the gameplay being a bit lopsided. Its very hard to win when you lose player agency near the end

@metzkermeister Yeah, that bug likely was the main thing that let people actually win. Aww well! Next time we'll catch it. By the way, we have a custom font in the game but Firefox browser cannot see it. Try playing in Chrome for the more intended experience.

@alanushke Amazing! Thanks for the compliments

@junagames Totally agreed! We were originally intending for each file to have different classes and for the classes to specialize but we simply ran out of time :( Next time the scope will have to be trimmed a bit, perhaps only 3 file types.

@noagard Thank you! It was Manisha's first time doing audio for a game :)

@wiredoverload Yeah the last level is brutal. Simply too many elements in such a short time caused a bit of a inbalance in the gameplay. Input randomness is something I will be more cautious of in the future. Thanks for the feedback!

@rend Thank you! Perhaps too much depth for such a time window xD

@chailotl Thank you very much! It was our first time making an auto battler xD

@amirrajan Thanks a lot!

@ruben-rosenmeyer Im glad lots of people are noticing the attention to detail, thank you so much! Yeah the late game doesnt have any player agency. We meant to have more stuff like picking the specializations of your files and swapping them around but we ran out of time. As it is, the end game entirely depends on what you set up earlier and lots of luck. It's possible to beat the last level though, i've seen it done.

@loveapplegames There is unfortunately no way to remove a file once its placed. Sorry about that! Thanks for playing and the kind words!

@nicolasjl9 Thanks!

@agrmayank Thanks a lot! Keely and Manisha don't normally do graphics and sound for games so its very nice to hear that they did a great job

@bloodbane Yeah thats a bug, sorry! Thanks for playing

@xcarl Thank you!

@headzerg The story mode and endless mode are not super different, but thank you for noticing the effort! :D

@kizilejderha Thank you very much!

@cam-moore Thank you, we were crunching hard to get what we could finished. Lots of stuff got scrapped unfortunately :(

@cdunham Thank you!

@euler-moises Thank you very much! Yeah most people lose on level 9/10 anyway. I've only seen two people beat it. Its fairly heavily luck based.

@digital-bacon Thank you very much!

@100th-coin Wow! Thank you so much for the detailed feedback and even making a lets-play. I loved seeing you play the game. I wonder if Keely, the guy on the team that came up with the file concept knew that about RAM. I certainly didn't.

@gamebuilder Thank you very much! This was Manisha's first time doing maudio for a game! Im glad people are liking her stuff.

@very-dark-lord Yup, one of the only bugs, but lots of people are seeing it. Aww well, what can be done! We'll do better next time :) Thanks for playing and leaving great feedback

@augustcoder Thank you very much! Yes, i didn't realise that until i saw someone playing it on stream. What a nightmare scenario. That's something im going to make sure to avoid in the future xD

Riven by JunaGames 2023-10-05T05:49:03Z

This game is brutal! I died probably 50 times before i managed to survive past 20m. It seemed like some of the collectibles were harming me at the beginning but i think that is due to me running into little ships as they spawned. Nice entry tho! Lots of different mechanics.

Also, those cannon balls move probably 5x too fast D:

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-06T07:00:05Z

I got past the first two rounds pretty easily but the third one was a black screen. Pretty nice concept tho!

Mind the Gap by LelulaGames 2023-10-06T06:55:03Z

Awesome! Glad i managed to get to the end. I loved that the camera was static, it made the game stand out in my mind :D The climbing was very forgiving, which is good

Limited City by xCarl 2023-10-06T06:13:15Z

I managed to win on my third playthrough! Pretty nice. My biggest confusion came from not knowing what the red font and the green font were. I thought the red one was my net food production. I think it would've been better if you did the math for me :P

2048 - Space Corp Limited by Heremeus 2023-10-06T07:09:04Z

Awesome entry! I loved the voice acting, it brought a lot of charm to the game. One improvement you could make is by adding the name beside the icons and the icons beside the names for all the resources. Its really hard to get to grips with what is what

Mitch's Budget Movers! by SephoWepho 2023-10-03T04:16:58Z

Wow i got to do the entire start-to-finish of mailing stuff! Very cool. I don't think i've ever seen a jam game with so many mini-games within

Wizard n' Slims by rickylee 2023-10-06T06:46:30Z

Very polished game! Probably the highest rated game i've played in this ludum dare. It has tons of depth and its lots of fun.

I found the green squares surrounding my character confusing but i just ignored them and everything worked out well

Neon Barrier by noagard 2023-10-05T05:26:05Z

Very nice! It was pretty hard to figure out the optimal placement, perhaps drawing a line that represents the path of enemies would be nice.

Picky Plants by chybby 2023-10-04T11:02:10Z

Awesome game! I got stuck on #11. Had a lot of fun tho, really nice submission!

Panic Attack by Jd698 2023-10-05T06:53:25Z

The game was pretty rough. I didn't get past the first level. Finding the pages was relatively easy, but finding the exit? Brutal!

Maybe an indicator for the exit would've been nice, or just a smaller level in general.

I also noticed that as soon as the monster was near me, i was dead. There was no opportunity to avoid the monster or escape :(

DISTANZ by Metzkermeister 2023-10-04T11:23:59Z

Pretty good! I didnt really understand the purpose of crossing the finish line because it seems like the level goes on forever. Nice entry though, the gameplay made sense quickly

Tower Up by BlackCat508 2023-10-05T06:46:17Z

This game is hard! I only managed to get up to the second tree after maybe 20 attempts. The water coming to get me in the beginning could've been a bit more gentle, or maybe an easy mode or something.

I got the premise eventually and managed to get up there. Good entry!

Pack-It! by shiny Elster 2023-10-04T11:28:04Z

Awesome! Managed to get 595. I dont really have any feedback for the game, it was well made. Perhaps displaying the controls on the screen would've been good, i had to scroll down to see how to ship the box :)

Swarmed In by Fuse in a Bowl 2023-10-05T05:32:02Z

Wow very statisfying! I can see the clear halo influence :D Really nice juice and feedback for the shots

AIR NOVA by alex1820 2023-10-05T05:17:36Z

Decent entry! It was tough to figure out how to kill the comets, i just spammed click and got through it. The game strangely stops spawning comets so i guess i got to the end :D

LD54_Clean the Valley by mr_lazy 2023-10-06T06:37:36Z

It was surprisingly chill! Very nice choice to make the snowballs be very light-weight.

Plummy's Tummy by Little Doctor Games 2023-10-06T06:51:09Z

very nice game! My favorite pico8 game i've ever played. I loved the colors, the characters, and the gameplay.

Farmer Defence by Gleb_yakovlev 2023-10-05T06:35:28Z

It was really hard to figure out what to do at first. I think it would've been really nice if the mines were automatically mining at the beginning

Bloomlight by pipiMa 2023-10-05T06:10:19Z

Decent entry. I found the camera's movement to be slightly frustrating. Also the hitboxes with the plants wasn't great. Up until the second level, i didnt know that plants go back after a while. I was restarting the level every time i missed the jump :(

HALLOS by Chailotl 2023-10-04T10:38:55Z

Short and sweet! It was a pleasant experience. I would've probably chosen a different color for the walls that close in around you, since it was hard to tell the difference between that and the space background, but i got the gist :) Good stuff!

Spacekeep by the Kickin' Big Phroggy Shovel Toasty Malone Dogs by kickball 2023-10-03T03:59:22Z

Didnt really understand how to play. I bumped into some rocks, collected them, tried crafting but i guess i didnt have the right stuff. Also, i have nearly 100 slots of inventory, hardly limited! :P

The art in this game is very well done tho, the best part of the game

Moksha by Papus Games 2023-10-06T07:28:10Z

Decent entry! I got ending 1/4. I didnt know how to use the bird until i saw the LD description, maybe if that tutorial was in the game it would be better

Bubbles by Emma.Ge 2023-10-05T07:46:20Z

The cutscenes were very nice but the gameplay was lacking. I couldn't get out of the first level, i went everywhere and died maybe 100 times.

Night's Bastion by Sevadusk 2023-10-06T06:32:05Z

Wow! This game has so many systems, it was fun to click on something and see what kind of menu would appear :D I managed to beat the gameplay but i would say its pretty unbalanced. All i had to do was click on the top middle and nothing else, and i won

Nice Park! by Barbabulle 2023-10-05T06:22:45Z

Awesome game!

MY LIL WIZARD by doinksoft 2023-10-04T10:45:36Z

Really fun! i loved the juice! It got a bit laggy in the end, but that's fine. Managed to get a score of 5015

LD55 — Summoning

Mana Tactics by argensis 2024-04-19T08:22:47Z

It was very hard to get going, but I enjoy the genre and bold choice! Especially for a compo submission, good stuff!

Summonundrum by James Greenleaf 2024-04-21T10:18:59Z

I didnt really know which symbol was meant to kill which enemy so i tried them all until it worked. Nice entry tho, i like what you were going for

Circle cloner by IndieManiaC 2024-04-20T08:36:02Z

Took a bit to get used to it, but i ended up filling up a few of the diagrams. Would be nice to see a par-score or something, something to work towards. I dont know if i did good or bad xD

ONMYOBUSTER by happyhour 2024-04-21T10:24:32Z

I could tell this was meant to be a lot more than it ended up being because the art was nice, the sounds were nice but the gameplay felt incomplete. I managed to get through 5 or 6 six stages before stopping so it was fun enough! I don't really see the point of the summons tho, by the time i got the wolf i was basically already done with each stage. Nice entry tho, would love to see your next one!

Bring Forth The Master by Justin Pena 2024-04-19T11:03:42Z

Love the atmosphere. I ended up running around with the guys behind me for quite a while. Maybe they need to pick up their pace, lazy guards! :D

Dreamlings Daycare by Boudichon 2024-04-19T08:57:41Z

Game Completed, i managed to make $800. I loved the vision behind this game, i can tell you were really passionate about it. Reminds me of the chao garden in Sonic :D

Sinful Scoops by Blue Pin Studio 2024-04-16T17:57:51Z

Thanks for the feedback everyone! We read all the comments and we'll make a post responding to everyone individually at the end of the rating period. <3

Sinful Scoops by Blue Pin Studio 2024-05-04T18:18:10Z

Another Ludum Dare wrapped up! Thank you everyone for playing and leaving comments. We tried to play as many of your games as we could. We look forward to seeing y'all in Ludum Dare 56! ###

@XRy Thanks!

@mibi88 Fair enough, thanks!

@thoastbot Yeah i guess it might be a bit difficult unless you're familiar with the seven deadly sins. Thanks for playing and the kind words :)

@argensis Yeah the drawing part of the game was the weakest part, lots of people had trouble. A valuable lesson for next time! Thanks for playing and the compliments!

@srslie Hard to be a sloth these days haha, Thanks for playing!

@patrick-pang Thank you very much! We worked hard to polish it as much as possible in the final moments of the jam.

@beauchama Thanks!

@rokadoka Thank you very much! The team is pleased with the outcome for sure :)

@burnttoastdev Thank you!

@nabil-shelim Thanks a lot!

@mar-zockmeister Thank you very much!

@justin-pena Ohhhh, you're right! I wonder if people are willing to buy a new DS game these days hmmmmm

@kirass Thank you!

@indiemaniac Yup! It converted the drawing into 1's and 0's and then compared the string to a master-string. Therefore, you only need to draw "close enough" :P

@drainkid You're right! For the post-jam version we're changing that. It will stop highlighting sooner, thanks for the suggestion :)

@captainspacecat Thanks for playing! Sorry you had a bit of trouble with it...

@james-greenleaf I think there might've been a error in the answers for one of the ice creams. For the post jam version we'll fix that, thanks for catching it!

@happyhour Thank you very much!

@ariyaassa Thank you thank you! Shoutout to IGA! :)

@tess-winlock Thanks for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed it

@loveschach You're right! For the post jam version we'll stop highlighting the text earlier. Thanks for the feedback and im glad you loved the art. The artist was hard at work the entire weekened drawing ice cream and stuff :D

@memnarch Thank you very much!

@kawakhwan Haha unfortunately there's nothing sinister going on under the hood. A simple comparison between what you drew and the master-copy. OR IS THERE?! >:]

@dywanix Thank you very much! Sorry for the slight hiccups with the drawing recognition.

@paulhocker Thanks! We tried to polish it as much as possible :)

@senso Thank you very much! Construct users unite :D

@silkworm-sweatshop What a lovely username you have haha. Thanks for the kind words and im glad you enjoyed!

@dekisenpaitm Thank you thank you!

@orbitaldot Thank you very much! It was out first time working together and i think it worked out wonderfully!

@citsua Thanks for all the feedback, we will be implementing some fixes as a post-jam version after the rating period. Thanks for playing and im glad you liked it.

@gwethelynn Thank you very much! Sorry for the sometimes-wrong drawing recognition :P

@moonlightbomber I was surprised by how hard it is to draw a star upside down. Thanks for playing tho!

@aviv-levy Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it :)

@bumblebee-studios Interesting ideas! We'll see if we can go more towards that direction for the post-jam version! Thanks for the feedback and compliments!

Part 1 / 2

Sinful Scoops by Blue Pin Studio 2024-05-04T18:18:27Z

@sn4pi Thank you very much! We worked very hard on it, glad it paid off!

@justcamh Was a blast to hang out in the chat while you played! Thanks for checking it out :)

@tomtomgome Amibitious?! You're too kind! Thank you very much for the kind words.

@moist-salt Thanks!

@sonnybone Thanks for the suggestion! We're going to implement that in the post-jam version after the ratings appear :) Glad you enjoyed it otherwise!

@timo654 Drawing the star upside down was brutal for me too :P

@nadia-pixel Thanks! Yeah its possible it would've been better off with a timer. Something to consider for next time.

@deformhead Thank you!

@initialposition A legend in the comment section! Thank you very much for the kind words. Im glad you enjoyed it and saw the glorious particles. Onto the next Ludum where we explore particles even further haha

@pierre-cilluffo Yeah it gets pretty difficult once the highlighting stops. Thank you very much for the kind words!

@hacksawunit Yeah the drawing recognition certainly isnt world-class, but it was the best we could do in such a short time. Thanks for playing and thanks for the compliments :D

@dalloner Haha thank you very much!

Part 2 / 2

Cat Summoning Terminal by Patrick Pang 2024-04-19T08:45:08Z

Didn't know how to play at first after trying the commands from the help prompt. Normally i would move onto another game but i decided to soldier through and read the entire itch page. I managed to summon a cat, but didn't know what else i should do. Welp! It seems like its really polished but i guess it just went over my head :(

Summoners of the Rings by Thoastbot 2024-04-19T08:14:28Z

Loved the uncommon gem references! Very nice. And very technical :) I wasn't very good at it haha

Make It Rain by LittleBlackDog 2024-04-21T10:40:46Z

Awesome! i got to the second day with the red sky before i gave up. Its kind of like playing QWOP, its hard :P

Ezra’s Bloodcall by Senso 2024-05-03T15:07:04Z

Awesome entry!

Kings Court by Nabil Shelim 2024-04-19T10:15:39Z

King for 7 days, doomed by priests. I wouldnt be surprised if most people got doomed by the priests. Excellent game!

βŒ°βŸ’ββœ (leto) by Sodoj 2024-04-20T02:30:09Z

Maybe its just my brain playing tricks on me but it didnt seem like the tracks were forming any sort of harmonious melody or even making sounds on the same tempo. Dunno! Very cool visuals tho

Siela by Gnum_ 2024-04-19T11:14:25Z

Cool! It was pretty laggy on my comptuer but that's not a big deal. I ran around, pressed E 6 times and the game was over. Im curious howcome you have fewer than 5 voicelines for when the character picks up the souls when you knew there was going to be 5 souls. Aww well, decent entry overall!

Occultris by stesim 2024-04-19T10:59:44Z

Nice and brief! I'll admit, i just spammed enter until the circle was full then pressed backspace. If it didnt work, i replaced one thing until it worked. That got me the win! It seems like a lot of effort was put into the complexity of the game so my bad for cheesing it :D

INFINIWITCH by drainkid 2024-04-20T09:05:27Z

Phew! i managed to beat it with 6 summons left. Awesome game! I didn't think i would like it because i was confused at the beginning but i had a great time :)

Crossworld by XRy 2024-04-19T08:03:13Z

Wow, its very complicated for me, but i love the concept :)

Moving In and Moving On by Artmuse62 2024-04-21T10:34:41Z

Nice entry! I can tell this must've taken a lot of time because it has a very ambitious scope.

bergs by burnttoastdev 2024-04-19T10:02:21Z

Fantastic game! I got stuck on the level right before the last one (i think haha) it had a red area near the top right corner. tricky tricky. Very good game overall. I suppose the only place i think it can be improved is the time between pressing E and being able to move on, probably just as simple as making the bergs fall faster. Perhaps that can be optional, if the user is holding shift or something.

The Summoner's Trial by Avaclava 2024-04-19T09:07:22Z

Awesome game! I went from not knowing how to do anything to summoning towers like crazy haha

It does get pretty hard pretty fast so my celebration was shortlived

Magic Falls by CaptainSpaceCat 2024-04-21T10:17:15Z

Loved the spell callouts, reminded me of Diablo 3 cutscene voicovers :D

Summone 2 Luv by anotheryeti2 2024-04-19T08:39:15Z

Wow! This is very clever. I wish i could see the description of the girl i picked throughout the battle, i cant recall if there any topics to stay away from other than the minus cards. Very cool game!

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Ephyra by Flipsy 2024-10-08T05:51:45Z

Cool game! A bit tricky to get the hang of it. Going up doesn't act like i expect so I end up hugging the floor. A nice thing i discovered is holding down the side buttons to go further, i thought i had to tap them originally. That fish is a bastard! :P

Tinygotchi Creatures by Vinicius Veronese 2024-10-08T05:47:26Z

Wow! Very cool concept and very high stress managing all of those damn gatchis

Bee Bop by Madbarron 2024-10-08T05:34:07Z

The art was fantastic! Although i could barely play this game, my brain is too small. I had to go very slowly through the tutorial and still didn't quite grasp what to do. I tried pressing the buttons at the same time, and one after another with mixed results.

Save Nebuville by Blue Pin Studio 2024-10-21T16:16:14Z

@profugo-barbatus I added a windows build to the itch page. Sorry to hear about the performance issues. Hope you give it a second shot :)

Critter Cannon by Stefan B. 2024-10-08T05:35:40Z

This game broke my browser haha. Lots of lagging and it froze entirely when i tried to fire the cannon. I'll try again on a more powerful machine!

Fallen Angel: A Larry Chin Mystery by Tobius 2024-10-08T05:28:31Z

Woah! This is a very in-depth game!

Tiny Galaxies by Gabriel Chan 2024-10-20T17:13:28Z

Awesome! All the elements of the game were fairly well executed, my favorite was the plants vs zombies vibes with the music :D Good to see ya still gamedevving mr. gabe!

Tiny Little Terrors by Senso 2024-10-20T17:09:38Z

Awesome game! I almost made it to the end but got killed by a boss frog :(

Misfit's Daycare by RobotChimp 2024-10-08T05:24:42Z

Not sure how to play! I interacted with everything but didn't know how to start the level or do the recipes :(

Pip Follicles by Arthur Tang 2024-10-08T05:38:12Z

weird sounds but interesting game!

Familiar Bones by barryrichter 2024-10-08T05:44:59Z

Very cute and wholesome game! Especially the dancing and blushing at the end :) Switching to different animals was a little bit janky in some parts and i got stuck on the pumpkin because i didnt know i need to use my mouse, but overall a great experience!

LD57 — Depths

Into the Depths by pres2300 2025-04-08T07:20:51Z

Short and sweet! The boss at the end killed me but i guess that was the point?

What Lurks Below by dxk2294 2025-04-08T08:17:43Z

I stuck around all the way until the ending! So cool, you did an amazing job! No nitpicks from me :)

Depths of the Heart by chelC 2025-04-08T07:35:01Z

Woah. The picture at the end will stay with me for a long time. Cool game! I found the gameplay bits a little bit tedious but the story was funny enough to keep me going! Good entry!

Mush Rush by mcovert 2025-04-10T06:31:07Z

Really chill mushroom game! Very cool :)

Beneath the lies by bashem 2025-04-08T07:17:57Z

Got to level -10 once i realised i wasn't supposed to kill the aliens! The game looks like it was a lot of fun developing, love the sounds, gameplay and art!

Antz vs Plantz by Blue Pin Studio 2025-04-08T05:15:12Z

@andrewkennedy You can re-plant over top of existing nodes! :) Thanks for playing!

Antz vs Plantz by Blue Pin Studio 2025-04-14T16:16:35Z

@alex-mironchuk There is no winning strategy because there is no way to win. The aim is to get as far as you can before the antz ruin you. Thanks for playing!

Depths by robertino 2025-04-08T06:56:28Z

Quick and easy platformer experience! I would've loved if it was a little bit more complicated somehow but its a good entry nonetheless.

Trepth by Quail Weaver 2025-04-10T08:13:20Z

Had a hard time playing it to be honest. I love the vibe and the intention, but i think the UI/UX was a bit tricky for me. Shoutout to a fellow ant game! :D

Miku Miku Dungeon! Penguin Ice Rescue by Miku 2025-04-10T07:52:59Z

Wow! This seems like y'all submitted a pretty large game! It has good tutorials and charming vibes

The Clockwork Heart by Adam Gallina 2025-04-08T07:08:04Z

Pretty cool entry! I couldn't figure out which order to put the statues in after trying a few different ways. I guess the puzzle went over my head. But i had a good time with the parts i played!

Submerged Pulse by Pandalk 2025-04-08T07:40:54Z

This made by brain tingle when it got to double sonar. Very cool experience but i got stuck at one of the corners so i don't think i'll get to see the end...

Deep Hour by Cammin 2025-04-10T06:24:03Z

SkywardRiver sent me here! Cool game, i think the strongest aspect is the art, that must've taken forever

This game is mid by minidavid 2025-04-10T07:18:54Z

Solid entry for a compo. Short and sweet. I managed to get into the hole

Deep Blast by Senso 2025-04-10T06:58:09Z

Really fun! Great work on the juice and gameplay. The upgrade font was a little hard to read, but thats just a nitpick.

Crabs in a Bucket by busisen 2025-04-10T07:40:05Z

Fantastic entry for COMPO and web tech. You're very gifted!

DUCKDEPF by Jona Scheidig 2025-04-10T07:10:09Z

Got 2900~! Was very fun, i could probably play it for hours :D

DEEP PIT (you fell) by aniretti 2025-04-10T08:11:21Z

I would've never known what to do without you telling me the words to type in the description. Perhaps the game hinting at a few would've been nice. Great entry! I love the art

Ball Pit by Tkap1 2025-04-08T00:02:43Z

Our friend tkap didn't put much effort in :(

Endless Depth by Dywanix 2025-04-10T07:23:52Z

Every time i died it felt like i was on a different level! Very cool, lots of depth in the game :D

The Lift by Teamofey Izorsky 2025-04-10T06:45:58Z

Played a lot! Very nice entry. I got to the part where the lights were super dark and died. Would've been nice to tell me the depth i achieved on the game over screen so i can share it here. Anyways, great entry!~

Amigasa by Nakadashi 2025-04-10T08:20:33Z

The game was pretty good but i think the amazing aspect are the comics in between the levels. An interesting plot and the art for those comics was amaaaazing!

It's That Deep by jazzydingo 2025-04-10T06:51:18Z

Wasn't sure what to do :P Seems interesting tho!

DungeonDescent by thisyc 2025-04-10T07:49:31Z

Its a tough one! Good entry tho, especially for a compo

DropDeep by Elian Geser 2025-04-10T07:14:39Z

Managed to get 447, had a good time. The red light indicating an upcoming platformer is a genius move, i've never seen it done before! Very cool

Egg Rescue: Detective by jetaimais 2025-04-10T08:08:28Z

So charming! Great work team

Ad Light by jtap 2025-04-10T07:44:46Z

Awesome entry! It sucks that once i missed a pickup i was screwed during the chase. I thought if i got to the end with one missing i could still progress, but alas! Loved the art and vibe

Debt Miner by fungus mundus 2025-04-10T06:18:25Z

Lots of sleeping, lots of mining! Pretty good for 48hrs!

Thallas by HDVR02 2025-04-10T07:33:21Z

Amazing mood and art! I wasn't really sure what to do. I piloted my ship a bit, collected a few things, but lost interest eventually. Great entry, especially on the art side

LD58 — Collector

Cut to Pieces by Sheepolution 2025-10-08T06:31:18Z

Shores must've been working overtime! So much art, and its so well made. Every dev should want to poach Shores :D Great work peeps! Its a big game with lots of play time!

Vault of Stars by graebor 2025-10-09T05:52:33Z

I dont think theres a way to beat level 5/5 fearful clouds. The leftmost cross requires something to the left but theres nothing on the left :(

I really liked the entry tho, nice art, nice vibes, nice puzzles!

Overemployed Empire by JOrbits 2025-10-09T07:25:51Z

I am going to send this to so many of my unemployed friends. Its a horror. Why have you made it? Really impressive take on an OS with a lot of attention to detail for the windows and QoL stuff like highlighting windows!

Normal Parts by Linus Lindberg 2025-10-08T09:19:24Z

Very impressive for compo. Of course it was hard to navigate and the body part detector didn't work as expected. Thank god you were in chat to guide me otherwise i fear i might've never reached the end. Cool entry!

Holo Friends by ColeSlaughter 2025-10-09T06:20:35Z

I could sit here for hours doing this! My favorite aspect of the game are the juicy sounds and juicy vfx on the cards. Don't forget to wishlist replicat and whatever else that freak Brainoid is schilling these days

The Little Book of Slimechemy by GuyInGrey 2025-10-08T06:10:47Z

Pretty hard to play and it seems like it would take FOREVER to craft a potion. Not sure if its the best fit for a jam but it was very ambitious! Lots of art :)

deck of doom by 0x0961h 2025-10-08T09:08:02Z

Definitely impressive for 12hrs of work! The game itself doesn't have a ton of depth as it is now, but the concept can definitely be expanded to something fantastic! Loved the art

Halloween Knight by Artur Hawkwing 2025-10-08T08:21:48Z

It's decent. It could use a lot more effort for the controls and i had no idea what to do with the boss fight. The art is good though!

Siege Crawler by Sharky3188 2025-10-09T06:33:26Z

How has no one mentioned the Halo Reach mission with a giant truck like this one? Hopefully that's a reference, if not, go play Reach! :D Pretty coool game with surprising action bits, tons of turrets and enemies. It could use a little bit more feedback when i was earning money, spending money, didnt have enough money, etc. Good entry!

Eccentricity by Lefinno 2025-10-08T08:00:17Z

Wow! The steampunk vibes were fantastic, great art! I'm pleased i made it to the end but it was pretty tricky to get a hold of what i needed to do and how to suceed. I think there can be a lot more work on the visual clarity side of things, like a toggle for top down and maybe icons for the different buildings so they're easily readable at a glance. Very cool entry tho!

Super Sucker by leorean 2025-10-08T09:01:55Z

Got 1409 before i perished! Pretty sweet game though, it feels like it has a ton of depth that i didnt even scratch the surface. Managed to get a handful of powerups. All around nice art and gameplay! Great entry

Greg gathers ghosts because that's what he loves the most by Blue Pin Studio 2025-10-08T08:54:59Z

@bigtasty and @batisdark thanks for playing! I just wanted to pop in and say that there are 4 pieces of feedback when you take damage, but perhaps they're not powerful enough. Theres a sound, the heart flashes, the healthbar goes down and the screen flashs red :( :(

Keklik by Rogaven 2025-10-08T09:22:53Z

Short and sweet! Nice entry

To The End Of Time by Kepsert 2025-10-08T08:14:40Z

Pretty hard! I didn't end up finishing before putting it down. I was only playing on Medium too xD Its a good entry, i can see you tried to work in a bunch of aspects of rpg games and lore and stuff!

Slay 'n' Squeeze by Senso 2025-10-08T06:50:38Z

Soooo good! I rarely say this because i think devs get too caught up with the hype of their jam game to assess market potential properly, but you should put this on steam! :P I think you could make a ton of money, it has strong hook

A Stamp-Stealer Postman by Pimeko 2025-10-09T05:44:12Z

A lot of effort! I found it really hard to navigate the city tho :((

Purarger Collector by thyoi 2025-10-08T08:46:06Z

The fourth burger (salad) fucked me up. Couldn't get past it. I would need a little notepad or something haha. The art was fantastic, great entry!

Deep Space Lawn Mowing by HexStart 2025-10-09T06:53:02Z

Really nice entry! I loved the sfx, the gameplay and the art, it was all very good. My only gripe with the game is i wish i could power creep more. I want more upgrades, more blades, stronger grass, etc etc etc etc

Goblin Goopmaxxing by NuiN 2025-10-08T07:31:26Z

Great entry! I loved how strange everything was, the premise, the goblin, the collectors demands, etc. Really cool and creative vision for a game!

Wingless by KriSsS Gonko 2025-10-08T07:05:38Z

I never thought i would see, let alone play as, a butterfly that has no wings. So darn sexy before he started getting wings. Amazing entry! The platforming parts weren't super exciting but i can see this game appealing to a more casual playerbase :D

Enter the Cardgeon by Placeholders 2025-10-09T06:01:16Z

A welcome reprieve from some of the harder LD submissions. Nice and easy and breezy. I didn't realize what was happening with the cards until maybe 6-7 cards in, but i like the gimmick! Cool submission with solid art, audio and gameplay!

Shark Dealer by Yarkin 2025-10-08T08:53:44Z

The art was fantastic! You did a great job in such a short time. The game design however was very frustrating, it wasn't easy or fast to compare cards. I had to click so many buttons to go back and forth between computer and card. Why are the cards upside down? Just to make it harder for me? :( :(

The Internet Collector by YibiRabbit007 2025-10-08T08:02:55Z

Couldnt play unfortunately. No instructions and it was written in a language i couldn't understand... Game kept crashing when i pressed one of the buttons

edit: i found the english button. Played a little bit, couldnt get very far, sent a few phishing emails and that's it :(

DEBT? DECLINED. COLLECTORS? DEFLECTED. MY BALCONY? A BASTION. by BigTasty 2025-10-08T06:31:40Z

You can tell a fellow eastern european made this by the looks of the collectors. The old fashioned way :P Great entry!

Lafufu Collector by WormKingBoo 2025-10-07T06:08:58Z

The first game i played from the jam, what an experience!

Goblin Lord's Dream by Ira Baciu 2025-10-09T07:08:46Z

The cutscene in the beginning was absolutely fantastic. You captured my physique perfectly. Strange how the first two games were dead simple and the third annoyingly difficult. Pretty funny submission, good work!

The Skitter Kit by surfacedfox 2025-10-08T06:38:31Z

I love the art! Would be nice if it had slightly better controls and didnt have yarn in such impossible to reach places! I couldnt get the last one on the table and i had to use my decoys to get the ones in the sink :( :( Great entry tho!

Wishdom Teeth Pact by Ali Enver Sevgi 2025-10-09T07:38:00Z

When i first saw how many papers i got at level 2 i had to close the game. I got brave and came back. Got perfect 6/6 on level 2, but theres no way i'm going to do level 3. Something about it just doesn't click for me. Frustrating AND gross. The art and the premise are great tho. Kudos to the artist!

LD59 — Signal

Effigy of the Sky Lords by Purrseus 2026-04-22T04:42:29Z

Team Cardinal rise up! Really nice pun :D Fantastic entry, short and sweet with an offer to try different endings if the player feels like it. Really sensible for a jam entry. Clever writing too!

Late For Work by ScrapMetal 2026-04-22T03:39:58Z

Really nice feel to the car actually! You have a knack! Shame about the jam tho

Sheep Trials by digital bacon 2026-04-22T05:07:36Z

77 whistles it took to get one sheep in there! Also the wistles are insane, they shouldnt be in the game at those volumes. Nice submission though, hopefully real herding isnt this frantic D:

Coo-Coo, Chef! by poboy 2026-04-22T04:23:36Z

Nice entry! I love the attention to detail on the ludum dare page. The art and vibe in the game is nice too. I wasn't done learning the flags before the game told me "thank you for playing" so i guess i won? Not sure. Maybe i should start with a list of commands instead of having to do 16 different variations D:

Badcaster Shneebly by Blue Pin Studio 2026-04-22T19:37:40Z

@2inkling @pres2300 @do3naut @drainkid @batisdark @nikaz @johndare @purrseus @theoconfidor

Unfortunately i regret to inform you all, it is not a bug. Its our fault that it wasnt tutorialed properly or wasnt reworked to be more simple. We ran out of time.

Each house that has an icon over it and either be happy or sad. Theyre sad if you are giving them the channel they hate. This is when there's a checkmark, indicating you did it right.

For each house that Shneebly is ruining the city loses 3 happiness per second. The houses that arent being ruined increases happiness by 1 per second.

To win youll need to maintain at least a 3:1 ratio which can be tricky because the house demands change at random intervals and start randomized. In some cases, for a random amount of time, it may not be possible to progress, youll have to wait until more favorable circumstances appear. Level 2 and 3 have different ratios.

The dev team was able to beat the game fully but its not an easy task. Sorry about that folks! Thanks for checking it out and the great feedback on all aspects of the game.

WaveForge by Enad96 2026-04-22T03:36:21Z

Got over my head real quick. The first 10 or so puzzles were cool tho :D Nice entry!

Smoke Show by Crygos 2026-04-22T04:54:08Z

Fantastic entry! Really clever programming execution and really clever desing. The art and audio are great too, all around great!

Federal Bureau of Dance by drainkid 2026-04-22T04:04:56Z

Really cool entry! you managed to make a pretty complicated gameplay interaction managable by the thoughtful tutorial and hud elements. Really cool!

Per Signum by apoly 2026-04-22T05:20:06Z

Really nice entry! Its decceptively compelling :D I found myself with a horde of enemies I wasn't ready for by the time i went north. I probably should've gotten whatever was in the east because the west artifact was great!

Radio Nation by pro4 2026-04-22T03:50:10Z

It was pretty straight forward, I thought i could keep playing forever. Everything i did rewarded me points and everytime i placed something i got more stuff to place. I like the jam entry but it could benefit from being fleshed out a bit more in the game design department

Bloodbane: The Crimson Nocturne by HDVR02 2026-04-22T04:47:53Z

Very cool! I love the pixel art but I think the gameplay needs work. I was spamming right click and getting a million resources :P Ultimately all i ever did was create lumbermills and towns. I killed a fox. Not sure if there was more to do, maybe some ultimate goal or something on screen somewhere :(

Cipher Tower by Teaminister 2026-04-22T03:43:42Z

I had no idea what to do and the game scope is enormous! You expect me to use 5 different languages to solve something? eeek! Perhaps a smaller concept next time. The art is very nice though good work Marina!

Caller IDie by Charles Mossius 2026-04-22T03:55:27Z

Really nice vibes and mood. The cellphone and the signal part I didnt really understand or see the point of, it was fun just running away from the guy. Got spooked once when i came around a corner and he was there :D

Signimal by FrowsyFrog 2026-04-22T04:35:10Z

I thought this game was great and then when i came to rate it I was blown away its a compo submission! Top marks from me! Very nice

Echo by FlameSeer 2026-04-22T04:36:53Z

I wasn't sure if there was any progression or deeper purpose until i started writing this and saw the screenshot above my comment say "final score" so i guess there was an end I was supposed to find? Oops! Also, i wasn't sure if spam clicking was any different than just clicking occasionally because it seemed like nothing did anything harmful

Radio Survival by 2Inkling 2026-04-22T04:17:55Z

Nice entry! Its very hard though. I managed to kill perhaps 5 creatures before i fell. And the rocks are too heavily guarded :((( 1/3 towers for me
