Beautiful graphic, nice and smooth controls! Love looting and explotation! Game feels solid!

l6ria 2025-10-06 22:46

very whimsy and cozy

mk-han 2025-10-07 15:28

I thought that this cozy game about slime, but IRL its a great mechanics. Wanna see how big slime can be lol. And this level is randomly generated every time? Great work! My congrats!

custodi 2025-10-08 03:18

Cute graphic, cool idea with dungeon, but lack of tutorial - take some time to understand what need to do.

guyingrey 2025-10-08 04:21

@custodi Thank you for the feedback! I agree, a form of tutorial was in the initial plan but we ran out of time. (I took too long on the procedural dungeon generation, something I'd never done before, and kept tweaking to make it better for FAR too long :D). Thank you for playing

Really fun game! My team had a similar idea but we decided to make a different potion brewing game. Very cool to see others had the same idea, and did it so well!! :)

blue-pin-studio 2025-10-08 06:10

Pretty hard to play and it seems like it would take FOREVER to craft a potion. Not sure if its the best fit for a jam but it was very ambitious! Lots of art :)

lizardinblizzard 2025-10-08 06:15

Cool art and captivating idea!

red-0-0 2025-10-08 06:23

It's a good game, and I especially liked the graphics and atmosphere.

zactyl 2025-10-08 07:08

Thanks for uploading! The art and atmosphere were pretty good, and the process of brewing the potions had a pretty good hook - playing the resource management game of figuring out what you can ditch to still make progress was enjoyable for me. Unfortunately there were a lot of pain point when it came to gathering everything. I think having a quicker way to get rid of stuff and having a way to better control the odds of what you're getting would help highlight more of the game. The procedural dungeons were pretty nice too, it was fun learning the tech to jump off the edges to better control where I landed.

kinnerk 2025-10-08 09:20

Love the art! Agree with custodi about being confused what to do at first. I managed to collect all the potions and everything in the end but it took a long time, maybe it could be improved if you can't pick up the items that aren't ingredients after you collect them once (The books, The Slime colors) because I spend a good chunk of the game just hunting for a few ingredients run after run while throwing away duplicates. I really liked the wall climbing aspect of the platforming though, it was pretty fun trying to angle the jumps based on how big i was.

guyingrey 2025-10-08 14:13

@zactyl @kinnerk @blue-pin-studio Thank you all for the valuable feedback! I agree with all your points, and thank you for playing! Our group wants to keep going on this game and potentially publish it elsewhere and these are things we'll definitely have to fix/balance before we do.

tiwe-me-ruu 2025-10-08 20:59

The game has a very interesting concept, good graphics, and a decent musical score, though it's a bit too loud. The browser-based playability and dungeon generation are a big plus! Thanks for the game, I really enjoyed playing it.

fng-trashcat 2025-10-08 21:16

@tiwe-me-ruu Thank you! We didn't create the musical score ourselves, but thank you for the heads up on the volume! We'll make sure to keep things at a better decibel level in a future update :sparkling_heart:

fng-trashcat 2025-10-08 21:17

@mk-han the slime can be HUGE :joy: how big on your screen did you manage to make it?

eugenik 2025-10-09 02:30

Great work! I had a blast playing this!.

joaog 2025-10-09 14:00

I spent some time playing and I really enjoyed it! The art and the soundtrack are great. The Slime concept is brilliant. I really love its movement and the mechanism for how it grows! I also need to say that the win screen messageĀ gave me a genuine laugh! xD

coda-highland 2025-10-10 03:40

I won? But I had only made five of the potions!

I love the fact that I get to play as the Gelatinous Cube for a change! It really fits with the dungeon theme, and the whole thing comes together as a cohesive package -- visuals, audio, gameplay, and theme. Well done!

fng-trashcat 2025-10-10 03:57

@coda-highland LOL we discovered after we published for the jam that we had the wrong check in place for the potions. The version you played is only properly checking for the tablets and coins. We'll definitely fix that in a future iteration! You can still enter the dungeon and finish the potions even with the win screen open. :sparkling_heart:

We're happy to know you liked Gouper! Slimes need to be the hero sometimes fr fr :muscle::triumph:

hugohil 2025-10-10 10:32

this is so cool! the art is really good, indeed you have to play fullscreen to enjoy it better. the controls are very intuitive, though sometimes you get stuck in a corridor. but i could just go back to the shop and into a new generated dungeon without issue.

great job!

ranejeb 2025-10-10 13:15

This entry is crazy! I had trouble navigating in my alchemist lab, but the idea of looting the dungeon with your body and the size increases is genious!

huihang 2025-10-10 16:14

Very cute game.

fng-trashcat 2025-10-10 23:38

@hugohil @ranejeb @huihang Thank you all for your feedback!! We're really glad you had a good time playing!! We'll likely be redoing some UI elements for the lab especially.

kupnu4 2025-10-11 12:47

that's a beautiful game indeed! I really like the way I traverse the dungeon, very unusual yet comfortable controls! I stuck a few times in very narrow walkways, but it's nothing. Great entry, thank you!

darianifakina 2025-10-23 14:55

really like art style, love it!!!

fng-trashcat 2025-10-30 00:25

@kupnu4 @darianifakina Thank you both for your kind words!! I personally really enjoy the mouse controls, too :sparkling_heart:
