This is a nice tech demo but it literally has no gameplay at all. I do like the low poly look though.

Sorry you weren't able to finish. better luck next time!
This is super interesting to play with! Although it does feel more like a toy than a game, I think that this is totally a successful project in so far as it's a fun thing to play with.:)
This is really cute! A shame there wasn't enough time to implement gameplay.
A cute demo, but I wish there was more to play with.
I like the idea.
I'm understand. Seems a nice idea but unfortunately unplayable :( Good luck in the next jam! Do not give up!!! ;) git gud:D
Definitely one of the better looking games in the jam <3
Concept sounds fun. Cute early art. I can totally see the beginnings of something good and fun here! If you decide to develop this further, I would love to watch it progress :)
Really nice animation and camera movement!
It is the nature of the beast when it comes to jams. Sometimes it's better to present a clean working concept, than a broken, rushed together build. Anyone who has participated in jams before knows how the crunch effects many aspects of a game. It's clear what you were going for, and it was a bold choice. I applaud what you were able to accomplish. Good Job.
I hope you learned a lot! It's so challenging to get off the ground sometimes and it looks like you're on the right track.
Was there anything I can do that I didn't do while I tried it out?
* i can click on the stick to zoom in on the stick * i can click on the ball to zoom in on the ball * i can click on the cat to zoom in on the cat
I'm interested in trying this, but I'm on a Mac, so right click is always a perilous situation :) Could you support left click to start, or if left-vs-right click is fundamental, perhaps allowing any modifier key (shift, ctrl, alt, whatever) to also transform a left click into a right click? If you do, please mention me in a comment so I can give this a try! :)
Lovely cat model and I liked the camera movement. It's a shame you could not fit in more, but Ludum is all about learning and having fun!
I like the concept, there is something interesting about this. You should continue or re-try during one of next LDs. Good luck!
I liked the art! Can't wait to see what you do next time around, hopefully in October :)
i liked the art
Cool cat!
The visual style was very cool, and I think with some more development of the gameplay this could be a cool project!
As you said, this is not really a game. But I give you 5 stars for the spirit because I liked that you said you considered it a success from a learning programmer point of view!
Liked the art : ) hope you can finish it after that and I will definitely play it.
Appreciate the low-poly aesthetic, although the terrain in the background could've been a bit more low poly-er,but no big deal. A very interesting idea gameplay wise. As some have already said said in the comments, if polished and built upon, the gameplay, coupled with the stylized graphics, can make for a very cool game. Overall a cool entry.
I liked the graphics and animation. It is very cool. I'd like to see the finished version.
I like the graphical style and the concept seems interesting. Too bad you didn't implement actual game play to go along with the concept. The animations of the cat were cute and looked rather natural. I was really hoping to get a lighthearted point-and-click-style adventure game :) Maybe next time! Keep it up
Cool game idea, i can image that it could be fun!
Kitty! 💜 I remember you from last time around, chatting in Marc's stream and playing your game! Cool to see you this time too. c:
Pity you weren't able to get it to where you wanted but you still modelled up an adorable cat with lovely animations. 😻 Best of luck next time!
hey, others have covered pretty much anything i can say, but here's a quick tip for unity + itch.io -- when you make the web player page, you should uncheck "Fullscreen button" in itch.io, since the unity webplayer already includes one. but good luck for the next one! i did like the aesthetic you were going for
Too bad you didn't continue on this post-jam, or at least mention the individual features you've worked on, along with those that you originally intended to implement, but didn't have time to do so, as the description doesn't really make it clear to us :)
This is definitely one of the more unique approach to the themes I have played this far and I like simplicity and easy of use. However, not sure if this is just one of the things you were not able to implement or I just was not good at keeping the cat interested in anything because no matter what and how I clicked, other than the camera moving around to focus on it (pretty cool by the way), I could not get anything to happen.
For a moment there, the way the UI for the buttons is presented, I thought the gameplay was about clicking the LMB and RMB in a specific rhythm to make the cat move towards the things it needed. lol Maybe a new "mode" ;)
Pro: It has a cat. Contra: There is not much to do, and I have no idea where you wanted to take it ;)
But I'm glad you enjoyed the jam nevertheless! Good luck with the next jam!
