Nice! An actual puzzle that works from start to finish, and you can throw boxes with physics, too, just for fun!
Hectic but fun! (Thank goodness for the pause button.) It's an interesting exercise in market supply and demand. I like the clean layout and simple color palette. I know it's in the works, but more textual window dressing would go a long way, such as fake, on-theme headlines ("[Conservative/liberal] Senator [random-name] embroiled in [pro/anti-religion] scandal") and better fake author names. Well done, and as a browser game it's nicely lightweight.
Nice! The mechanic is simple to pick up and has a smoothly increasing difficulty curve that's easy at the beginning and can get really crazy by the end. I'd like to see a score and/or time during play, not just at the end. Artwise, there's a nice harmony to the color palette and audio.
Nicely polished game! The gameplay is solid, and the graphics and sound are very well done.
Very nice puzzle design, and well thought out progression.
Excellent writing! The graphics, music, and theme all work together nicely. Great job on putting in a tutorial. There's enough going on in the game that the tutorial really helps.
I don't even player a doctor on TV. And it's a good thing. All of my patients died. The music was suitably creepy and the art was well done. I just wish I knew what I was doing.
The music and art work great together. What a fun skating game -- a bit challenging, but that's part of the fun.
Very nice graphics! The levels have good progression. It's impressive that you implemented so many the mechanics. It's challenging but fun.
Great graphics and amazing soundtracks! Nice use of a single-button mechanic. The game felt a bit easy. Or maybe I'm just that good. ;-) I like the take on the theme.
Worked well in Chrome for me. I told myself I wasn't going to play any physics-centric entries because it's too obvious for the theme, but the graphics caught my eye. And, wow, what a great game. The graphics and audio are polished, the gameplay is solid, it hits the theme perfectly (if a bit on the nose), and the premise works perfectly with the graphics and gameplay loop. Well done!
Nice graphics! The game has a good visual style. The controls are easy to pick up and work well, too. It was a little difficult to pick up on the game loop at the very start, but it quickly became clear. The boss battle at the end is a nice way to flip the mechanic.
Great unique visual style and audio. I enjoyed running around the zones looking for the "exit".
I'll confess that when the theme was revealed I wasn't looking forward to playing a bunch of physics-based balance games. But this one changed my mind. The ridiculous manner of building a town had me chuckling throughout the playthrough. And it's a challenging but fair game, so nice job on balancing that, too.
Well done! Challenging but with a good amount of forgiveness in how far you can tilt to one side. That said, I tilted even farther more times than I'd like to admit, so the instant restart was a smart, very welcome design choice. Really nice retro art, too. The clean lines remind me a bit of the upcoming game Sable.
Well, it did its job. I felt pretty unstable by the end. :-) A nice take on the theme. It really captures a mood. And locks it in a cubicle.
Congratulations on finishing your first game, and for a timed jam at that! You did a good job of setting a disturbing theme, and having three endings is impressive for your first game.
Nice take on the theme. I had a little trouble shooting, and playing as a wolf is really challenging because of the range difference. The warning timer is a nice touch.
Playing fullscreen, I didn't have any problem clicking cards even when zoomed out. Nice art (of course!). The memory game mechanic works well. I'd have preferred to be able to see the 2nd card just a fraction of a second longer, especially when the red vignette grows enough to cover the full version of the card in the upper right.
Amazing voice acting! The writing (very thematic) and pixel art are well done, too, and the understated sound effects fit well. I lost against the queen and was pleasantly surprised to get a little cutscene that let me jump right back into the battle. I enjoyed playing this one all the way through because the card game was engaging. I would have been happy to play a version that was twice as long.
Really nice pixel art. This reminds me of classic point-and-click adventure games from back in the day. The puzzles are pretty well done.
Great job with the voice acting and animation! Having to stay on the lookout for pills was stressful in a fun way. I ran into one little issue: Pressing Ctrl + W closes the window, so I had to be careful when crouching to not accidentally close the WebGL game window.
I tend to give preference to playing the WebGL entries since I don't have to download anything, but the art sold me on this game and I downloaded it. I'm glad I did. Very well done! Excellent art, music, and sounds. Quite an accomplishment to get dialogue and quests in there, too. It really nails the theme.
Nice take on the driving delivery theme. The music is great and adds to the tension but boy is the game hard. I like how the game conveys the entire premise through a few stylish images without the need for any text.
Well done game! You got all the classic grid-based dungeon crawler mechanics into it, and I didn't run into any issues or bugs. The UI could have used a little more theming to fit the nice look of the in-game visuals, but overall it was really fun to play.
Nice multipurposing of beer as health and goal to win. The block character graphics are cute and simple to read visually, and the controls are easy and responsive. I feel like a bad beer baron when I throw a barrel wrong and waste all that precious beer. :-) Well done!
Excellent interpretation of the theme. The music and art fit perfectly, and the gameplay is well designed and fun, with a satisfying summary at the end of the play. Impressive that the game offers multiple levels of difficulty for a weekend-long effort. Minor bug: When the summary window pops up, you can still drag hint cards underneath it. It doesn't break anything, though, so just a small visual issue. Great job!
A challenging platformer shooter. It took me a while to get the hang of running and gunning, and keeping the mouse cursor far enough away to make aiming accurate. Really nice pixel art, all of a consistent theme and style.
Very nice character art. I enjoyed the challenge of deciding whether to risk slapping or risk damaging the sword by swinging.
A very visually cohesive game, from the art style to the sound effects, music, and font. I did notice a bit of text overflow in the tutorial panel in the lower left, but everything was readable. Balancing reading the tutorial while playing the game required a bit of mental juggling. But at least it has a tutorial, which is nice! The gameplay is easy to pick up and fun to play. It's even pleasing just to click on nodes and get the randomized sounds, although it quickly got challenging. And it really plays into the theme. Well done!
Great writing! The way messages are composed using minigames is very clever. The pixel animation is really good, as are the subtle audio touches such as the rustle of paper as the bear walks. Nothing negative to say. I really enjoyed playing this.
Nice art and audio! The driving controls are intuitive but let me just say it's a good thing the car doesn't take damage when running into buildings. I swear I'm a better driver in real life. :-) Being able to pick up orders and take them to "regulars" by remembering where certain types of orders are wanted is a nice touch.
Loved the reviews at the end! The gameplay is solid and easy to pick up but challenging in a fun, hectic way. I agree with others that more levels would be welcome in an expanded version of this game, but the current level is well designed and enjoyable.
Great job for a first jam! Very good use of the theme. The platforming is a little unforgiving, especially the double jump and platform edges, but gliding is very satisfying. As a solo dev, time probably didn't allow it, but a background image (parallax even better) and background music would be welcome additions.
Waka waka! Nice job -- the gameplay is solid and easy to pick up.
Very fun! I embodied this sign. plan_ahead It didn't take long to completely obscure the ship so that I didn't know where the front was, but by that time the ship was a porcupine of laser guns so all good! :-)
Wonderful polish! Great audio and visual effects. The gameplay is simple to learn but gets pretty challenging. Great job!
Overland meets Oregon Trail! Nice graphics and atmosphere, and a great concept. It took several plays to get the hang of it, but by then I felt like I knew what to do to survive... at least for a little while!
It's like Overcooked in the Underworld! ;-) I didn't last long on my first playthrough, but once I'd learned the "recipes" and started to take advantage of sprinting, I served up a lot more demons and had a lot of fun.
Nicely done, atmospheric typing game! I like the twists it throws at you.
This is a really complete game for a weekend jam, especially with the initiate and demon AI. The reactive music is very immersive. It looks like others like the Gothic-style controls, but I would have really liked mouselook, too.
This scratches the same itch as Powerwash Simulator. It's satisfying to "clean up" all the pink squares. The stationary squares feel like they're probably a bug, but I wasn't complaining because it made them easier to collect.
Those tank controls are pretty brutal. :-) I didn't quite get the connection to the theme, but it was an interesting change of pace to play.
Fun defense game! Solid gameplay and nice use of the honeycomb shape. The art and music work well. Didn't have any trouble understanding how to play. Great job adding lots of upgrades. With short timeframes like this, I know how often upgrades get left on the cutting room floor.
I didn't expect a beat-em-up for this theme. Nice job making a fully fleshed-out beat-em-up with multiple moves, funny writing, and very good pixel art!
This is a lovely game! The art and all of the little touches in the background are fantastic, and the music and sounds suit the game well. It does a great job with the Collector theme.
Neat idea! I like the title screen and dialogue scenes between gameplay. It would be nice to be able to adjust mouse sensitivity, but the gameplay was good -- a balanced mix of shooting, dodging, and parrying.
Nice graphics and animation! It's great to see more 3D games with a polished style. I didn't mind the screenshake at all. It added to the tension.
A well-executed, disturbing game -- I really enjoyed it. Great job with the atmosphere.
I really like the falling sand! The main character is neat, too. I agree with other players that it's a fun challenge deciding whether to risk going a little further or to go back and deliver the gold. I think maybe having 3 "hit points"/hearts would make the game a little more forgiving
Nice take on the theme! Those other shoppers are a menace! :-) The ambient audio fills out the experience nicely.
Nice combination of Asteroids and Osmos/Agar.io! It really fits the theme. The clean vector graphics and contrasting colors make it easy to tell what's going on.
Great concept and take on the theme. I'm going to bring this up on my phone to play with a friend the next time I'm out!
Love the pixel art! This really feels like a complete game with different units, different mission types, and interesting decisions to make.
A clear take on the theme, well-implemented. I'd manage to get my sats in prime position for maximum coverage and then some event would knock one of them out and I'd lose a bunch of coverage. Taught me to appreciate redundancy! :-)
The visuals are nicely distinctive, and the audio works perfectly with them. I feel like I got the hang of it after a few failures. To get to the end I'm pretty sure I'd need to memorize the levels through trial and error rather than reacting on the fly.
