Keep them alive by M A T 2021-10-06T10:35:49Z ♥ 0

I like the idea. Getting the balance right for something like this is probably hard during a compo, since it takes time iterating on it so it feels good. While trying it out I was thinking if it were a good idea to have controls to speed the game up when the player wants to just wait for a while.

Ascent by rbeattie 2021-10-06T09:30:02Z ♥ 0

I would like background and foreground to have more of a contrast, so that the platforms really stand out.

Office Novice by HermesEs 2021-10-05T18:43:32Z ♥ 3

Very good entry, impressive. It's chaotic and funny. In a short amount of time a lot of memorable things happened. Heavy metal rave starting and two employees blocking my way out of a cubicle, people running through the glass to the bosses room while I'm getting fired, Guy running away from me while complaining about wanting a water while I'm trying to catch him carrying cup of water.

Emotionally Unstable by Apandso 2021-10-05T18:18:48Z ♥ 2

The value on left top corner is happiness and right top corner is sadness. You have to keep these below 100. Left bottom corner is how much the accessory changes your health, which you want high as possible. Health also runs out as time goes on. The value in right bottom corner is you progress to next level which you want to be high as possible. There is reroll button to get new options in the center but it has a cooldown so don't waste it.

Hell's Dishes by mikouaji 2021-10-05T18:08:04Z ♥ 1

The sound of dropping all the plates you just picked because you did not check the controls for the "walk slowly" button is glorious! I encountered a single bug, the amount of plates left was 1 less than there were plates and when I took all plates to washer (or broke them) the amount of plates left was -1. I really like the idea, reminds me of other games that are about physics and awkward controls.

SCANLINE by pdotjpg 2021-10-05T17:55:54Z ♥ 1

On the stage with text: "This stage seems unbeatable?" I suddenly lost the ability to move completely after just randomly moving around in the starting area. Still managed to continue the game by resetting so not that big of an issue. Other than that I had no problems. The game has nice visuals, audio, idea and polish. It's very good overall. The little messages are a nice detail.

Memories by Spidd 2021-10-05T17:40:31Z ♥ 1

Nice, innovative story based puzzle platformer. What confused me for a bit was that you have to connect light blue walls to purple walls rather than connecting walls of same color.

Unidentified Stacking Object by Arttu Halonen 2021-10-05T17:04:22Z ♥ 1

Good job on your entry! Overall I liked the game and I did not run into any problems while playing. My first tower in time trial was merely 7.5 tall. The last moments of trying to add one more block to an unstable tower in the last seconds are thrilling.

Runaway Reactions by Taft Punk 2021-10-05T11:41:29Z ♥ 2

There is strategy to how you use your health, which I liked. I would have liked to restart on the level that you die rather than the first level. Also, this reminds me of a game called Qix on the Gameboy.

Goblings! by Tony Li 2021-10-05T11:24:52Z ♥ 1

It's long since I played Lemmings, but this brought those memories right back. This one is a well done jam game and worth trying. The "whee" sound effect is a nice detail. Well done!

WobblyWords by Dannyk1994 2021-10-05T11:11:54Z ♥ 1

Nice idea for a game and I like the presentation. However, sometimes you get really difficult letters and all you can do is wait. Other than that I like it.

Alien Disco by Ludokultur 2021-10-05T11:03:46Z ♥ 1

I danced for 123 seconds on my second attempt! Really nice to see PICO games! I've heard about it earlier and thought about using it once but when I saw the code editor I changed my mind. But now I googled PICO again and noticed that apparently it's possible to use external editor with it, so now I'm thinking that I could use PICO someday. I just need the idea for the right project.

Ludens Fortuna by deniskazantsev 2021-10-05T10:31:17Z ♥ 0

After the first quick failure I grasped how the game works and was hooked until I finished it. Very cool game, I like it a lot. Has a nice mood to it.

Toil & Trouble by eveenova 2021-10-05T09:59:27Z ♥ 1

I played for a while and only brews I managed to make was when I was supposed to make potion with one ingridient. Still, I do like the pixelart, music and idea.

II-III-V by miziziziz 2021-10-05T09:42:56Z ♥ 0

Very atmospheric. Only complaint is that I would have liked to have more time to read the letters. Favorite part of the game was when turning off systems on the pc one by one and testing if I have enough power for the fire suppression. Eventually I sigh as I have to temporarily turn off life support, unsure of what is going to happen. I loved the typing sounds.

Banana Republic: Nuclear Power Plantain by LandoSystems 2021-10-05T09:04:27Z ♥ 3

Nice graphics, music, sound and humour. There was only one thing that bothered me, I would have liked more of a response when successfully hitting a cooland rod.

Riot City by metalboyrick 2021-10-05T08:53:41Z ♥ 1

Audiovisually its great and it's quite fun to play as well. Feels polished. I like it!

Idle Is Bad by FlorianBalD 2021-10-04T19:29:20Z ♥ 1

Seems like a solid platformer, I don't play them that much, but the controls and everything else seems to be alright. Had trouble at level 3, I at first thought that you can jump just on the other side of a platform and only it will break, but that's not the solution to the level.

Crossed Connections by brads.space 2021-10-04T19:17:57Z ♥ 0

Otherwise good but the difficulty should ramp up after the player has made the first successful connection.

Reac'this by DevUndead 2021-10-04T18:53:04Z ♥ 1

I at first did not notice the text that there is a better protective suit which removes the 30 second timer, which harmed my first impressions a bit. I really liked exploring the place and figuring out what to do after getting rid of the timer.

Unstable Reactor by Gale-swift 2021-10-04T18:38:06Z ♥ 2

For those who try the game, try starting out by creating bunch of fighters before even thinking of trying to charge the warp core, you're going to need something to defend yourself with VERY soon.

The idea is interesting, graphics and audio are good. But when I played for the first time I was overwhelmed with options and got killed immediately. Some kind of advice about what should be the first priority when starting would be nice so you don't die immediately.

The Ruins of Cuglatr 2 by unpronounceable 2021-10-04T18:21:58Z ♥ 1

Okay, this was neat, a text adventure. Made a scout with 10 foraging and started traveling to the factory with Freda. Taking plenty of survival turned out to be a good choice, since there were a ton of rolls to forage for food. Managed to turn off the factory with Freda's help.

Unstable Genius by Doc Kaos 2021-10-04T18:06:46Z ♥ 1

Good entry! Fits theme, is funny and fun to play. Good job on details like the message when trying to use auth key without actually checking what it is on a second playthrough.

Bob's Underworld by chesschaser 2021-10-04T17:27:33Z ♥ 2

Nice art and music. Simple but functional gameplay. A nice, polished entry, I like it. However I had a situation where a tiny ledge was at edge of the screen and I could not jump from it. Other than that I encountered no serious problems. Perhaps the jump sound could be a bit quieter?

Volatile by Mateu 2021-10-04T17:06:38Z ♥ 1

I love games about triangle shaped spaceships! I was not disappointed, this was a fun one too. Getting new upgrades is addicting.

Unstable Mechanical Warframe by Astropower 2021-10-04T16:43:16Z ♥ 0

The text in the tutorial is very hard to read, a dark, single color background would help. How large screen do I need to see the whole window? I think something at the bottom of the screen is not showing on my laptop screen. I can't make any units, perhaps some button is not showing? My laptops resolution is 1366x768.

birdbell by PaperAeroplane555 2021-10-04T13:26:28Z ♥ 1

I was impressed after just the first 15 seconds in the game, I really like this one. It looks nice and has good mechanic. Shame there are no sounds, perhaps you could add some postjam?

The Leaning Tower Of Pizza by erikengineengineer 2021-10-04T13:18:02Z ♥ 1

I got a system error "The code execution cannot proceed because D3DCOMPILER_43.dll was not found" and "The code execution cannot proceed because XAPOFX1_5.dll was not found"

Wild Magic by BangTheWall 2021-10-04T13:08:36Z ♥ 1

Looks beautiful and sounds nice as well. The difficulty was a bit too much for me so I gave up at the place the 3rd screenshot was taken. I felt like the character moved too fast, but it might not bother others. I don't play platformers that much. One thing that I would have liked is to have different animation depending on whether you hit a plant or ran out of time so you know which killed you. Lastly, I liked playing it, even if I felt frustrated with the part I got stuck at.

Watch Your Step by oller125 2021-10-04T11:52:52Z ♥ 2

Pretty solid platformer but I have a few minor complaints. Camera follows the player too slow if falling fast from somewhere high. The projectiles fly a bit too fast in my opinion, they can appear and kill you a mere moment. Also I would have liked to see a chance to overcorrect when balancing on the tightrope so its not just about tapping one button.

Audio and the visuals are nice.

Risky Manufacture by MatchaMaze 2021-10-04T11:20:56Z ♥ 0

Would be nice if I could just hold the release button down to keep dropping the stuff. There is too much clicking.

The Theme is Unstable by Johnathan Peres 2021-10-04T11:05:20Z ♥ 2

I like it, the game has a good idea behind it. I like that you found a way to use the rejected themes in it. I can't complete the minigame for some reason, the cable does not go into the power socket.

Death?Box by wafflesys 2021-10-04T10:43:39Z ♥ 0

Couple of things came to my mind as I played. There should be more projectiles and they should fly in more directions so it is harder to avoid them. Right now you can do quite well just by standing still.

Also, you should explain controls before player starts the game. First time I tried this out tried WASD, arrow keys, and only then the mouse. It also took a while to realize I can just hold either mouse button down rather than click repeatedly.

Potion Trouble by Yorsh 2021-10-04T09:12:50Z ♥ 1

Artistically the game is very nice. The idea fits the theme. I would have liked to have snappier controls. I also once got stuck below the pedestal where the enemies appear.

Unstable Atoms by Harmadillo 2021-10-04T08:34:28Z ♥ 2

The game is pretty difficult, if you are unstable you don't have a lot of time before you lose and it is a bit unclear to me how much time you have left. Enemies are also unpredictable, a few times an attack seemed to appear out of empty space rather than an enemy. The music did not loop.

Taking over other atoms and moving to another map saves you if you are unstable. I think the take over mechanic should not be so powerful and as unstable you should not be able to leave the map. Then the enemies could be slowed down and you could be given more time before you die if unstable.

The idea of unstable atoms firing electrons is neat, but the gameplay needs some polish. My main thought after playing is that the main problem in the game is its difficulty and balance.
