I like the idea but controlling the character is really hard I got frustrated at the level with the first zombie. I guess it's intended that the mouse cursor disappear during the level progression right ?

@dekajoo no that's a bug, I fixed it now
If you have enough momentum on the last level and die before you reach the end, the character will keep on going through the "door", and into the void
From an environmental perspective, great job. Love the vibe. It builds the kind of curious world that you can play around with finding stuff.
@thunderlads fixed (uploaded before the deadline, just forgot to respond)
Such a great atmosphere! I like how it's a self-contained experience, with solid level design. I wouldn't want to control that squeeky wheel chair much longer.
The typing section was kind of a weird detour but I liked the game a lot overall. Not sure I followed the plot besides "radioactive zombies bad" though haha. I wish I could hold left click to "brake" myself.
That is so creative! Genuinely an impressive level of innovation with the movement and the graphics are perfect. Great job!
yessss the typing section is perfection. the sounds and bleep bloops so good
the parallax effect on the top down environment looks so dope
Amazing. Love that the world turns instead of you. The only thing that surprised me was that I could die while reading a letter, I thought it paused the zombies. Really well done! Thanks for submitting!
It is hard to control
Oh god, I like that! Especially sound of stroller :) Really in the mood.
The aesthetic is super cool and I personally haven't seen the movement mechanic yet. Super awesome entry with a great atmosphere. But did you really have a to jumpscare me haha
incredible game, great atmosphere, that together with the fact that the control is made to make you suffer too, makes this game an overwhelming experience :D, in a good way
The game idea, graphics and the audio were all great. But as others also said I struggled a bit with the controls at first but I got accustomed with it very soon.
Bruh. You didn't need to jumpscare me at the end. XD
Tbh, I don't know if this mattered, but I figured I had to swap the power back to the original stuff after do fire suppression stuff. Does that actually do anything?
Like the graphics, the audio and the style. But couldn't get over the controls.
real neat i like the controls it was a little challenge to figure out but i think it is good once you get it!
aw man you got me at the end! haha Interesting idea with unique controls. Very atmospheric too. I really liked the typing sounds when you are using the computer hehe
GOOD JOB 👏
Super unique control system, loved it, if a little janky. The computer sounds were great, the atmosphere was really good. The ending though, the ending you f*nut! Daaaangggggg ><
Very atmospheric. I didn't have any trouble with the controls. I liked the perspective. The text on the notes was a little tough to read, but it does fit with the visual style.
I was just getting the hang of the controls by the end. Nice level design. Having to get away from zombies in a wheelchair is unnerving.
Great atmosphere.
Wow this is really fantastic. I didn't totally enjoy the controls but I think it adds to the emotional feel that you are just a little bit stressed by your environment. I didn't totally understand why I died when I did. There are lots of elements that add to the mood. The audio is very well done, and the story behind how we're interacting with the computer at the end is also good. I also liked that you finished it off with a mad dash down the hallway - that was super fun. Very nice. If I could offer one suggestion, I really enjoyed reading the bits of story. The notes written on all the papers. I felt like I had to choose between success in the game or reading the story. I wish I could have read the story without having to feel like I had to "burn" a retry so I could read the story on one attempt and then skip the story text on the next trip through.
Very atmospheric. Only complaint is that I would have liked to have more time to read the letters. Favorite part of the game was when turning off systems on the pc one by one and testing if I have enough power for the fire suppression. Eventually I sigh as I have to temporarily turn off life support, unsure of what is going to happen. I loved the typing sounds.
Very cool control scheme, it really gives that tense sensation of horror. the terminal was a nice change of pace but wished I could see more varied stuff like that.
The idea about protagonist being on wheelchair and how character is controlled is very unique so congrats on that, sound is also done very well. However, sadly, for me the way you control the character got from unique to frustrating really fast and at that point it more detracted from game than anything else and eventualy made me quit when the zombies always cought me. Also game not pausing when reading letters was a bit unexpected but not major issue. Great idea, but too frustrating to finish in my opinion.
The game was great! I loved the unique controls. The fact that it was a little challenging made is scary when the ppl started to chase me. After they chased me I got real good at the controls and zoomed on out of there. Horror games of any type spook me good. One improvement is that you might want to suppress the sound of the squeaks for consecutive squeaks if you were to do a post jam build.
I saw you scrolling in the hashtag in Twitter and searched your game after the Jam ended. This game looks amazing! Took me a time to understand how to rotate the chair (I moved horizontal lines instead of rotating around the character) but these kind of games is what I love to see in a Jam. Congratulations!
Interesting concept. Controls are bit annoying...solid entry though.
I like the innovative control of the character, and you have add a computer screen console, that add a lot of possibility !It's challenging game and the mood is good, good job.
Awsome atmosphere that kind of alised look adds to it for me for some reason. Wheeelchair mechanic is a perfect balance of frustrating and rewarding.
Okay graphics, and good idea, controls are just quite finnicky
Sick atmosphere and setting. The writing and environment did a lot of heavy lifting and made the game really engaging. I really enjoyed the wheelchair movement, and the sound design and UX on the computer felt really good and satisfying. Only thing I would say is that it seems like the "zombies"(kinda feel bad calling them that) seem to follow you using a closest path algorithm, but it sort of feels like they should go to the last place they saw you instead (mostly noticable on the loop puzzle). Overall very cool and enjoyable movement system and setting, fun game!
Mood rating: 17 stars
Holy crap, that was heavy. Excellent atmosphere of confusion and panic (or was that just me?). The movement was challenging, but unique (definitely more "unstable" than just "WS to move, AD to rotate". Kudos!). This game definitely leaves me wanting more!
And this was a solo, compo jam game? Daaaaamn! Fantastic job!
Super tense and original control scheme that added to the mood, nice worldbuilding and great atmosphere. Awesome game - could have maybe done with a headphone warning for the end though since the rest of the game was pretty quiet in comparison.
Great work, loved the control scheme really elevated the chases. Ended up laughing at the ending because I'd been a little bit spoilered on what happens though XD
I'm a simple person: I see Miziziz content, I like! Can't wait for the devlog man, congrats for the entry!
Great entry. Nice and atmospheric and with nice movement mechanics. The writing in those letters was actually nice and the general mood was cool. The visuals were great, good choice of colour pallete and the sound design is really good. I felt damage could have been represented a little differently because it was a little too hard to tell whether I was actually close to death or not since the shade of red doesn't change too much after a certain point. Still, the general mood was great and the game as a whole was cool
That ending seemed a little unnecessary though lol
This man always inventing innovative and unique movement systems. Good game However, Ending = Jump scare = bad. Haha
Awesome experience of playing this game. But jumpscare is a bad idea to scare players.
The mood was great, your style is clearly visible here. Similar in mood and gameplay to Endoparasitic.
The controls were tough, but after some trying I was better at using them and was able to finish the game.
Nice thing with a computer terminal.
Was watching your stream during the first day of this and didn't keep updated since, so cool to see how it all came together. I liked the world-building of the letters a lot, though I only found two, so maybe I missed some.
Also the world rotating is an awesome change to what I saw that first night!
I also enjoyed the lack of combat, and just focusing on the tense situations made from the wheelchair controls themselves.
In terms of more "critical" feedback, I think it would have been cool to see more small levels like the one where you had to lure them away from the exit you were going toward.
On a similar note, the first thought I had when I saw the console and having to power off different systems, which was cool to see in and of itself, was that there was going to be more of a choice in what to power off, as in you didn't need to power off everything else in order to power on the fire suppression. One reason I thought that was that I actually assumed that what we were powering off would manifest in the gameplay (like the lights for example, I expected the level to get much darker and then I had to navigate with those new limitations). Maybe it's just because that crossed my mind while in the terminal, that not being the case left me feeling a bit like "oh, that's it?". But obviously it's a Compo, so you had to keep the scope down. That could be a good way to expand upon this if you ever wanted to.
I actually learned that Ludum Dare was happening at all from your YouTube post about how the theme was about to be announced like five minutes later lol. I'm really glad I saw it, because after wanting to do a jam for a long time but always talking myself out of it, I decided on a whim to take part, and so now I've done my first jam! You also have been a big motivation/help for me getting into Godot, so thanks for that too! It's been a lot of fun learning it.
Looking forward to seeing more small games like this once you finish up Wrought Flesh, keep up the good work
Good game but i didn't like the controls
I got the best of the multiple endings I was so happy
I love the unique controls here. It really works well with the mood of the game, especially how sometimes you have to rush your movement if you messed up a bit and got close to an infected person. The computer section near the end was great too.
Caught bits and pieces of the stream and wow what a ride! A short and neat entry, I loved the sound design and the atmosphere of it, really well executed. The controls though wowww. I might be a bit biased since I've seen the stream but I really liked it a lot. The ending though 😭 Not really a fan of that :x Still, I had fun!
A lot of people say that controls are not good. For me it felt so right for a such type of games. So straining atmsphere, cool sounds. Really awesome entry
omg did that ending scare me!
