Really strong entry. Loved the art and the gameplay mechanics are quite unique. Well done!

@stefan-jovanovic Thank you for the kind words!
Very nice. The idea of stacking is quite common, but the realisation is unique and feels fun to play. Liked the visuals and sound.
I could not bring him home, because I ran over the tower by myself to often :D. Great physics, great visuals and overall a really good game. Liked it a lot.
@san4es9524 Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked it!
@westmave The owner's manual of the U.S.O. seems to have been misplaced, that would explain the issues! Thank you for the comment!
Really cool game, fun engaging game play and very polished. Great entry!!
Classic, simple and fun! I enjoyed every aspects of it except the part that I accidentally knock over the entire tower with my UFO in the last 20 seconds. I think the game would look great in 2D as well! ;)
Wow! Really amazing game! Great graphics, good sound design and really good and fun physics. This game is so fun to play, I just had to keep playing again and again. The LD49 flag in the background is a really nice touch.
Very good job!
@lukeoco1234 Glad to hear you liked it!
@richard-jiang I feel your pain! But glad to hear you had fun! I thought about 2D initially, but since Unity makes 3D quite simple, I opted for this 2.5D feel instead.
@daspikeyboss Thanks, really glad to hear you liked the game!
Nice game, and very challenging, I only barely got to 6 in the time trial :p
@jesper-fyhr-knudsen Thanks for playing! Seems we both went for a tower building game in this jam!
Great Game, the physics work really well and controls are pretty responsive. Would like to see more variation in block shapes and gravity modes.
Good job on your entry! Overall I liked the game and I did not run into any problems while playing. My first tower in time trial was merely 7.5 tall. The last moments of trying to add one more block to an unstable tower in the last seconds are thrilling.
I really liked playing this! It felt like you had good control over your block placement, but the elastic nature of your tractor beam still made things tricky.
My one critique would be that in both time trial mode and endurance mode, it felt like you were always best off waiting a few seconds for your beam to stop bouncing, which slowed the pace of gameplay down. I would have loved if things were just a little bit faster :)
Overall though, great entry! I loved the tiny details in the background, like the LD49 sign :)
Loved the physics of this game! it has a very cool early-psx era vibe to it :)
@toxichouse Thanks for the feedback! I initially thought about having non-square blocks, but I had some trouble with the physics and decided to cut them due to time pressure.
@octahedronsoftware Thank you! Glad to hear you liked the game!
@koolruz Thank you for the detailed comment! I'll have to agree with you, moving quickly is not really viable in this game (or at least it's really risky), but waiting around isn't too thrilling gameplay. But glad to hear you liked the game!
@gorypixels Thanks for playing! The physics required surprisingly little fiddling and tweaking, I've never before had such luck with Unity physics...
I think that endurance mode would be enough because the game is already hard enough :D
@furfel I see your point, but what's a better motivator than a ticking clock?
Wow, I made a similar game as this one. I think the concept is same as mine. Anyway, I have enjoyed playing this one. Well done!!
Simple but fun, and very polished - I like it! I also wanna call out the tractor beam sound effect, it's really satisfying to me for some reason. I couldn't make it very far - always ended up knocking over my own tower, but I still had fun on the way. Nice work!
@ache-games Yeah, I noticed the similarity too! Thanks for playing, glad you liked it!
@brainloaf-studio Thanks for the feedback! When I decided on making the tractor beam act like a spring, I knew I had to make a "springy" sound effect for it too, glad you liked it!
liked the game, noticed an unintended mechanic where you can stack a cube on top of your spacecraft and just glide as high as you can, in both endurance and timed trial haha. So I had fun trying to get as high as I could with the cube on my head :)
@cukeds Ah yes, an *unintended mechanic* sounds much better than a *bug* :joy: Thanks for letting me know, glad you liked the game!
Really had fun with this. Clever, fun, crisp visuals, sounds, and controls, and a whole lot of interesting physics that's very intuitive and well-executed. Nice work.
@dob Thank you for the kind words! Glad you liked the game!
Nice stacking game (^w^). I did prefer the endurence one because the two time I tired time-trial the tower fell in the last 20s (^^'). So I only ended with 3.9 in time trial :p (And only around 9 something in endurence, but eh, that's 2 times more than the other game mode :p) Good game :)
Really enjoyed building up towers just to smash through them, gj.
@yohsk13 Thanks for playing, glad you liked it! Three minutes can be a surprisingly long time when you're hoping that your tower doesn't fall...
@misfire-dev Physics can be pretty fun just by themselves! Glad you liked the game!
Nice game play! I found it quite challenging but in a good way. Physics works very well. I had pretty good fun. Maybe more variety of the sounds with different blocks size could add to it even more. Overall good game!
Simple idea with great execution. Loved the sound and look of the beam
@kingslee142 Thanks for the feedback! I initially did have plans for different shapes and looks for the blocks, but ran out of time. Glad you liked the game!
@pascone Thanks for playing, glad you liked it!
So simple and yet so fun to play ! I really liked it ! The game is polished and gamefeel is on point. Very good job !
@namnam Thank you for the kind words! Happy to hear you liked the game!
Had a fun time playing, it was challenging and suspenseful. Highlight for me was when my tower was falling over and I managed to grab the top block to catch it and save it. Are you familiar with AR game development? Stacking games like this can work really well in it.
Although it is a classic gameplay, it is more fun and easy to understand!
@lucasglass Thanks for the feedback! I personally haven't tried AR development, but since I'm working with Unity it should be possible! Thanks for the idea!
@sunnyrx Thanks for playing, glad you liked it!
fun
@ghubert Glad you liked the game!
