The art and concept for this is really good. I really liked the random events that would influence the value of your cards. I will say, I wish there was a bit more of a win condition rather than it going on forever, but it was certainly fun regardless. Also, really catchy song if that was made by a member of the team.
I loved this game!
The music is perfect, also the arts is cool
Very cute artwork. I wonder if the strategy is to just buy, sell and work, and keep the expensive rare cards as they come :)
Seems fun. I really did not get the way the card value is influenced, but I think I was just didn't pay enough attention to the random events. Would love a rundown on the game mechanics if possible. Otherwise, good job!
like the buying and selling of the cards and the music was very peaceful , very good entry
Nice artwork! The characters look very fun!
Very nice game, crazy how much fun it is just opening packs to see what cool things you find inside! It would have been nice to see some more expensive/different packs once you get to the higher ranks, but with the limited time this was made in I think you did really well! You really managed to re-create that feeling of finding a super cool rare card
good game with nice art, didn't really understand how to play, tried to dump cards and put on the table. Tutorial needed))
Cool arts and sound! A gooog simple!
Thanks for the game experience! Good job!
Love the art and love the concept! I think the card values might need some balancing as you rarely lose money on opening a pack and selling all three cards
Great game, love opening packs!
I first wanting to have a card game like you. But we change the idea and I didnt think we can finish the game as nice as you.THe game really impress me.
Intriguing concept, nice match with the theme, enjoyed my time building a legendary deck. Could see the balance and system evolving into a more challenging game or a more relaxing incremental style build. Nice work.
Funky project! Loved the music and the creature designs. I made it to Pro level, but it was a little disheartening to see the values change so drastically on their own - I felt like there weren't really any strategic choices I could make other than continually opening packs and looking for high numbers (and hoping they stayed high). Something like being able to choose between different packs with a risk/reward tradeoff or something would have gone a long way, but even without that it's a nice little experience. Well done!
LD58Finished2.PNG Pretty happy with my all oozed out deck worth exactly $420. Blaze it.
I wasn't sure if there was a win/lose condition, but each time I opened up a pack I almost never lost money so it was nearly an infinite money glitch... as a feature :). Didn't know exactly how to 'win' either. The random events seemed to affect card prices, but I never really understood why?
All that being said, the actual art for the game is really well done and polished. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this feels like you guys are prototyping a digital card game because this feels like an actual digital card game. The background music was nice and fitting for the spooky monster theme, and the audio cues for opening cards and swooshing cards around added to the tactile feeling of playing with said cards. I also noticed the proc-gen card creation, which was a nice touch (different monster combos, titles, card types, backgrounds, etc).
I want to play the actual Monster card game now! Nice entry!
I got my deck up to $5170, and then the market crashed it down to $250. I thought maybe there could be some extra value if you had certain combos in your deck, but that doesn't appear to be a mechanic. The real charm in the game is in seeing what you pull, but I think that you could have built out the gameplay some more.
