pretty fun game ngl, love how the slimes steal your old turrets lol.
Really interesting take on the plants vs zombies style tower defense game! I totally got wrecked by all my old towers xD. I wish there was a clearer indicator of how many crystals I needed to start the engine. I feel like it's most beneficial to kind of farm the first stage as long as possible to cache a lot of crystals to advance more.
A very fun game. It’s hard if you don’t farm at the beginning, but overall, I find it well-balanced. I just don’t understand how i manage to start engine.
I really enjoyed how the slimes took the machines with them. It really made me think about how much stuff I actually need. Overall, fun game!!!!
A nice creative take on the theme "old tech" where the enemies use your old tech from the previous level. The art is really nice.
very neat plants vs zombies style mixup TD game! I had a lot of fun trying to figure out the best configuration for my towers! Fun entry.
Interesting idea, especially having the slimes use your abandoned turrets against you! However, the wait before moving to the next area felt too long. I couldn't tell when the “Start Engine” button would become available—a progress bar or a clear indicator of what was still needed would help. I'd also appreciate 2× and 3× speed options to reduce the waiting. Being able to upgrade both the resource-gathering robots and the defensive units would be a nice addition too!
The graphics here are really fantastic. Solid gameplay loop. I feel like this is a great tower defense game
This is a fun game with a creative twist. I also liked the detailed graphics that blends well with the UI
I really enjoyed the tactical challenge of having to balance aggressive tower placement with the need to keep moving through the cavern. It forces a genuinely interesting choice about how much risk you're willing to take with your fleet. Great concept overall!
Really cool twist on tower defense! I love the idea of enemies using your abandoned towers against you. It adds an interesting layer of strategy and makes every decision matter.
Echoing what everyone else has said here, your enemies using your "old tech" here is really neat! On one of my playthrough attempts, I got absolutely wrecked by the slimes, combined with me not having saved up enough to carry through to the next area. The art also works well and complements the gameplay quite nicely! Nothing felt out of place and everything felt like it belonged.
I do wish there was more progression. Going to the next area and having it be the same as it was before, both in enemy frequency and in tower variety makes the progression not feel very meaningful beyond the distance to surface number ticking down. I think the slimes could use a spawn rate increase as you progress to increase the challenge. Otherwise, I found just placing 3-4 of the 6-cost towers both kept all the slimes at bay and were easy to deal with when I moved to the next area.
Overall, this game is quite neat with a lot of polish! I would love to try it again even if just difficulty scaling was added. Thank you for submitting!
The music is cool. When the slimes with guns showed up, I was like, “WTF?!” Pretty funny.
This game is wonderful! I love how you start off defenseless against enemies, but then you gain currency and can set up defenses. I also liked that the slimes can steal your towers. It’s all very similar to an old, unreleased game of mine. It’s great!
I like this take on the theme. I did have a few graphical glitches that followed me, where some old collectors and some random lines showed up from the left in further levels. But it's solid gameplay and still worked despite seeing the old guys sitting there. I would've liked either a little more tower variety or powerups as you progressed, because it's the same gameplay until the end when you figured it out. Maybe a fast forward for time would've helped there too. Still, it's a neat little game, and played well!
The PvZ influence is strong, but it's unique in it's own way! The music really helped get me amped up to fight off some slimes! Really loved the unique turret designs, and the robot animations! Polished particle effects helped tie the art together. I didn't understand the 'old turrets become new enemies' until after the first round, and so buying expensive turrets at the beginning really made it difficult for my run.
I kinda felt like the strategy was to buy cheap turrets the entire time, because if the slimes got the powerful turrets, it was gonna make the next level harder. Maybe some some of degradation on the slime versions of turrets to make the game feel more balance? Also more unique slimes that would challenge different defensive set ups.
Overall, great little puzzle defense game!
