Amazing visual and gameplay
Love the vibes and the story. Needs some balancing though since the boss (is it even a boss) kills you in one hit. Also the camera is pretty crazy. But I'm nitpicking because the rest is really good :)
Cool animations
I adore the characters, very well done! I was not super fond of the sound it makes when yous shoot, but that is easily balanced out by the genuinely gorgeous character and level design. The first boss is a little bit too rough though
The controlls for the Player feel really good and very nice 3D models. Great Job!
@b0guslaw I'm not very fond of it either to be honest, I always add sound effects at the last minute but I hope the gameplay makes up for it π
@khamekaze Gameplay certainly can buff out a lot, but I would recommend to keep sound Design on the almost the same level of importance as graphical design. On our game we didn't add sounds until the last day, but after adding them it brought the whole game together.
Awesome work! The title made me laugh, I love the art/atmosphere, and I really like your interpretation of the theme
love it
@wormkingboo Thank you!
the kit the character has is really fun to use, the parry especially felt really cool to use against the boss
@dullai Glad you like the parry mechanic! I just wish I had time to make more enemies to use it on
camera's a little wonky imo, and the boss felt a little unforgiving, but i really loved the parry and dash!! i wish there was just more levels to play because i feel like there's a lot you could do with the kit against some other enemies!! overall a lot of fun, well done :)
For a jam this feels very smooth and plays great! Got a Journey vibe from the art style and I love the dodge animations. It takes a while to melt through the first phase but it ain't so bad. I can feel the vision you had for this not because I got a sixth sense or anything but because you really pulled it off. Nice work, you got a new fan ;) and thanks for the tutorial level I appreciated that rather than getting thrown into the mix
Nice mood! The gameplay is dynamic and fun. The fight is a little punishing maybe. Well done!
That was quite the unexpected event after the tutorial. Fun game, well executed but definitely a stretch on the theme.
Nice presentation, a very dramatic twist on the garbage theme
Interesting game, it kind of reminded me of Risk of Rain. But I felt it was missing mouse sensitivity settings a bit, because my mouse was acting crazy in this game!)
Nice graphics, the game feels good, and a very epic boss fight. Good game!
@magnapanther I agree, I would have loved to add more levels and enemy types π© Thanks for playing!
@artificer Journey was definitely the main inspiration for the visual style π
@vladcfg Ah that's good to know, I will keep mouse settings in mind in the future! Thanks for playing!
Got a lot of Nier-vibes from this one as a first impression. I probably missed something as the boss slamming itself kept one shotting without (what I think is) the health bar at the bottom ever moving an inch. Like others mentioned, the mouse was the biggest issue, nothing else technical to say.
@6knowledge Nier was one of the big inspirations for the gameplay! Not sure if there is a bug with the damage calculation for that specific attack but while testing I never encountered it, did it happen even when parrying?
Holy shit, I felt like I just finished the tutorial when I got thrown into a huge boss fight. Did not expect that.
I like how the boss hands bounced around after dashing at you. Moving around felt good, I liked that the character shifted left and right of middle to give a sense of speed. I do think it was a tad overexaggerated and slightly disorienting. Would like to see the movement shift like half as much.
I like the low poly style and overall it was an engaging and well constructed fight. Just wish I got to fight a few more "trash mobs" before the boss.
Screenshot 2025-10-09 at 06.18.10.png Movement felt soooo good. like the floating shooter aim took me a few sec so not to bad. shadow on projectiles big + .The counter was super useful like the effect here. just curios if there was a way to counter the boss? Overall pretty impressive jam entry. Glad you played mine so now i played yours.
@bobap Thanks for the feedback! Fair point about the camera, I think it's the most common complaint I have gotten so far so it's something I will pay more attention to in the future. The boss fight coming so quickly is simply due to me thinking it would be funny π Like "this is how you shoot, this is how you parry, now go beat this monstrosity, good luck" π
@senso Thanks for playing! You can parry the claws when they charge you but in the second phase it's just about dodging the lasers (I had planned to add projectiles you could parry in the second phase but ran out of time)
Dude, did you do this all by yourself in three days???? Wow
@ira-baciu Hyper-fixation comes in handy for things like this π Thanks for playing!
Cool boss fight, straight after the tutorial too lol. I really liked how the player movement felt.
@jorbits Yeah I thought it would be kinda funny to have an unexpected leap in difficulty π Thanks for checking out the game!
Neat idea! I like the title screen and dialogue scenes between gameplay. It would be nice to be able to adjust mouse sensitivity, but the gameplay was good -- a balanced mix of shooting, dodging, and parrying.
The idea is cool, especially cool is the joke about the player being trash when he diesπ β π
Good mechanics, this is a nice idea ^^
@tony-li Thanks for the review! Will check out your game too
@iriska I hope nobody takes it too seriously π
@naru Appreciate it, thanks for playing!
I'd like to love it, but damn it is difficult, the camera is a bit jonky and the boss can decide to fall on you and one shot you. I would have love it if the game were about fighting trash. I kind of loved the first two levels
@tatawanda Parry it! Tip: When the laser stops you have about a second to hold the parry button π Unless you already was doing that in which case getting killed while parrying is a bug π
amazing visual!
THIS GAME IS GARBAGE!
lol jk, phenomenal job! That boss is hard but manageable, which is a great balance to hit in a game jam - especially with everything else in this game. The main issue I had with my playthrough was that the aiming reticle was waaay off and worse the further I was away from the target. Don't know if it's because I was playing in 4K or if it's actually like that.
Either way, super solid entry!
@maimai Agreed, absolute trash π You're correct, I didn't manage to get it to line up properly unfortunately, I know there is a trick to it but couldn't figure it out in time
This is an incredible idea, the concept is great! I had a lot of fun playing it. I think the protagonist should have had a bit more health though as he dies very easily, and it would have been good if the mouse sensitivity was a bit lower.
The game idea was interesting and the game looks amazing!!!
din't expect taking out the trash to turn into an epic boss fight :D Very nice style choice - simple yet convincing. Great short game, thank you!
god damnit, the boss had like 10 pixels of health left and then the trash (me!) got collected :( was fun to play though, would've loved to change the mouse sensitivity as it was really hard to control the character properly.
Wow! What an amazing game made in just 72 hours! The 3D graphics are excellent, with a great low-poly art style and very well-made character animations. The gameplay is really fun, and it even includes a bit of story with characters. It would be nice to have an option to adjust the mouse sensitivity when aiming (unless I just missed it). Still, congratulations, this feels like a very well-rounded game. Great entry, fantastic game!
@rynti Oof, happens to the best of us
@milq Thanks for the review and thanks for playing!
Looks and feels nice! I collected all the trash! The HQ trash was a real step up in difficulty
It's good game. Of course, there was a lot of unfinished, but it was cool that you was able to do this alone + and I was able to get pleasure anyway. The main thing is that you didn't try to artificially prolong the game.
