Holy....I did the first 2 levels, stared at the third, and backed out LOL

Very impressive, but I ain't goin back to digital logic class!

Nice one, reminds me about my old childhood games with cartoon characters with simple lessons from school

@william-corrin @pazio-di-dante Thanks for playing! The game ended up being less fun than what I was hoping for. Some of the interaction is enjoyable, but it's too hard to break down problems.

@william-corrin I had the same experience...

@elemel .. but this is so well implemented and just feels so extremely nice to mess around with. Felt very much like a slow pace comfort game. Good job 👍

whoa yeah the complexity jumps quite suddenly on 3

noble-goose 2026-10-22 16:54 ♥ 0

I agree with the other commenters that the progression could be smoother, but the game feels really polished. I like the visuals, and everything feels intuitive and satisfying to interact with.

@purpledartfrog @excitemike @noble-goose Glad that you liked the interaction, even if gameplay and level progression could be improved. Thinking about switching to single-byte numbers instead (two hex digits), and maybe let the player buy whatever components they want. Input and output terminals would be fixed. Then you should be able to finish any level, and could try to find a cheap solution if you like.

I have to agree with everyone else about the complexity jump on level 3, but it's a neat concept with a clean and intuitive visual design. The first two levels provide a great orientation to the gameplay. This could be a great minigame in a larger game.

I did it. The interface/functionality works great but, like, a couple more puzzles in the middle definitely would have helped.

I agree with others on the jump from level 2 to 3. I also notice that your only using signed 16-bit numbers, so when the numbers overflowed, it would wrap around. That is quite problematic when it comes to a game based on math and logical inferences (that's easy to fix, you just need to do a size modifier so that it can store larger numbers). It was a clever idea though. With a few modifications, this would be a quite fun game. Good job.

Nice! At first when I saw that there is no "how to play", but luckily the game's very self explanatory. It does get tough very quick

The third level is absolutely a game-breaker... It's not just the level progression or difference in difficulty with the second, it's that the only way to solve it is to try every combination, there is no way to "ballpark" a part of the calculations and keep going on.

It's a great concept, it could have been more fun! I liked the first levels and the user interface was polished.

Edit: is this supposed to happen? I believed MUL meant multiplication.

Edit2: I switched to hex, and... is this maybe because overflow?
