Obviously it has issues, but I do appreciate hand-making a game like this. It's the type of game that's hard to polish without watching people test/play it, which is tricky in this situation.
I had trouble really accomplishing anything so I would up just sort of cheating with the source code. Even early on I had trouble getting the bottle from the cabinet because, well, I assumed it was impossible because "get bottle" did nothing, and the cabinet never says it's locked, "open cabinet" says nothing either. In a way, that does make it an authentic text-based adventure experience...
I liked it, the audio's great especially: the cheesy midi song + all the sound effects. Felt like the penalty for losing a ball was pretty minor, but whatever.
It's neat, though the logic puzzle aspect seems slightly half-baked (which is fine, hard to fine-tune these things when you have no time). The radar/timed clicking is just sort of annoying, and not really sure what the EMP adds. Still fun enough though, just needs a little something gameplay-wise.
Impressive to be able to make something like this so quickly. Obviously, the physics being janky is very understandable, but that combined with an instant game over basically whenever anything weird happens is sort of annoying.
I have to admit I got stuck pretty quickly, I didn't exactly understand which blog post was the first to do (and that the others were impossible at that point), and felt like the combinations I tried made sense but didn't exactly match what the solution was. Though admittedly, this is the type of thing which is really hard to nail down without a bunch of playtesting.
I had to do some extra investigation...in the source code...to proceed. That sort of counts, right? Anyway, i had fun.
I really think the instructions need to be clearer or have a better example, I think I understand it now but it took a lot of attempts. There's gotta be a better way to explain it.
The idea that "the tape gets worn out" doesn't really matter since it resets back to fresh whenever you reset/erase. I'm assuming maybe there was some sort of "multiple recordings" idea that ran out of time or something. Anyway, it still works just fine as a regular "ghost" puzzle game.
I like the idea, I'd be interested playing an expanded version. I do wish it included letters more slowly and gave me some time to get used to each one, and wish the puzzles felt a bit more tight/clever, but I understand that's tough to do in the short timeframe. I got to the last puzzle (I assume) and it felt like a bit much.

I did it. The interface/functionality works great but, like, a couple more puzzles in the middle definitely would have helped.

I liked the idea, some better feedback to how close/accurate I was timewise would have been nice.

For a moment I was wondering if the red diamond face was going to fly out of the screen and kill me, so that's pretty cool.
