It's an interesting investigation game. I'd like to be able to bookmark pages in the browser. The back and forward buttons don't let me revisit all the pages I've found.

I really liked the idea, I think a few QoL could make it much better: search history, notes etc.
Anyways I really liked the aesthetics, nailed the artstyle
Great idea, the style is really clean and the content is good as well. Like others, i would have liked some QoL mechanics (web history) Not a sort of game I would have tried to make in a jam, so just for this, I like it, but it's good overall !
running a retro console blog and getting an email about a console that never came out is such a good hook. the power-on boot and the desktop inbox make it feel like your own old pc. only read the first email but i want to dig in
nice style! reminds me of "Emily is away"
I liked it, but I found it a bit annoying that some articles would close when I pressed the Back button and used the search. Maybe that's just how it worked back then, and it's intentional. But overall, it's still a great game!
Awesome stuff; I was really engrossed in the story. Great usage of the theme. I think my main criticism is that there's no immediate feedback when you fully complete the game other than the small (barely noticeable) text at the top of the blog page that says "Your series on the Eidolon Cybersaga is complete". Might have been nice to get one final "You did it!" email. All in all, I had a great time. Well done.
I enjoyed the world building in this and it really did feel like doing a deep dive on the internet. Having the ability to select key words to search for out of emails and search results might have been nice and I wasn't sure if I was on the right track with some of the rabbit holes I went down.
Really novel idea and I would love to know where the story goes.
It's been a while since I played The Roottrees Are Dead, so I enjoyed this bite-sized version of it quite a bit! I wouldn't necessarily need all the QoL changes mentioned so far, although some would be nice (like win condition trigger, I wasn't 100% sure I'm actually at the end), but more importantly - was it just me or was there no sound? Even clicks and button taps would add immersion, and would be super quick to add (IMO). All and all, glad to have played The Cybersaga!
I have to admit I got stuck pretty quickly, I didn't exactly understand which blog post was the first to do (and that the others were impossible at that point), and felt like the combinations I tried made sense but didn't exactly match what the solution was. Though admittedly, this is the type of thing which is really hard to nail down without a bunch of playtesting.
I had to do some extra investigation...in the source code...to proceed. That sort of counts, right? Anyway, i had fun.
The idea of digging into the history of a forgotten video game console is such a compelling narrative hook. The world-building really succeeds in making the experience feel like a genuine, nostalgic deep dive into an old digital archive. Well done on creating such a thoughtful piece!
@adam-gould Thanks so much for playing all the way to the end!! Now that you mention it, a final email would have been the perfect way to end it. Knew I was forgetting something.
@parxer @alex-mulkerrin @dreamerkaj @helagos @ntmalichi Thank you all for playing and leaving feedback, glad you enjoyed it!
@khananaphone2 I think if you went to the effort of searching through the source code then it definitely counts! Thanks for playing :)
I think I've completed the game, since I posted on the blog about where the completed Cybersaga is, and I don't have any more blog posts to publish. If this is the end of the game, it would have been nice with something telling me the game is over, if it isn't it would be nice with something hinting at what to do next.
Oh how cool that was! Building posts was a little hard, but the excitement when the portal access was gained was something I didn't expect. Great job!
