I like this take on the theme! The controls are hard to get used to, but that just adds to the fun.

I like this take on the theme! The controls are hard to get used to, but that just adds to the fun.
So cute! I like the creative controls. I also liked that it didn't reset my run if I went over 10 seconds. I'm not that great at games like this one, so the fact that I could just keep going if I didn't get the best time make it enjoyable for me. From a visual standpoint, the world seems a little empty since all the other birds are the same and there's not really any change in the background or tileset. The bird sprite is so cute though. This would be so fun if expanded upon and given a narrative.
Looks really nice, but the controls are a bit confusing. Also, I think the moles might be better if they were staggered and a little slower.
So much fun! The mechanics were really interesting and intuitive, and the puzzles were fun to solve. The graphics were quite polished as well. The theme didn't really affect my game play all that much, but it might be interesting to have some larger levels include checkpoints that the robots can start from once they reach them, instead of being reset to the very beginning. I'd love to play an expanded version of this game with more levels and mechanics!
Really fun! The pacing of the items arriving was just right to make it anxiety-inducing.
Really fun and unique! I think it might help to put the similarities in a tooltip as you hover over tiles. I ended up not really looking at the points because it was so far away from the game board. Overall, I really enjoyed it!
Oops, didn't mean to add empty comments! The publish button was glitching out.
Really fun and unique! I think it might help to put the similarities in a tooltip as you hover over tiles. I ended up not really looking at the points because it was so far away from the game board. Overall, I really enjoyed it!
I won! Avoiding the snails while looking for the way out was fun.
Wow, this is amazing! The graphics look great and I really like the twist on the theme. It was really fun!
I enjoyed the mechanic of having to fix things before I could cook, but at one point, things were breaking so fast that I couldn't cook at all and that's when I lost. Maybe things breaking could also be on a timer or maybe you could continue cooking if something breaks, but have to stop if all of the items break?
Wow, what a creative idea! It took me a minute to understand the forms switching back and forth, but once I did, I really enjoyed it. The graphics and audio were polished and went well with the game, and the feedback when I hit/got hit by the enemy was satisfying.
I like the balance of the two gameplay modes--the game has a really nice flow. I'm not all that great at these types of games, so I only got to level 3
Hey, great job finishing something for your first game jam! It's a little rough around the edges, but the fact that you made something playable and got it submitted in time is something to be proud of!
Fun! I liked getting a bunch of enemies to chase me and then blowing them all up
Controls, art, and ambient audio are nice, but the gameplay gets repetitive and easy fairly quickly. It feels like a good foundation to build off of by adding more enemies, a narrative, etc. I didn't notice the timer at first, so maybe you could shrink the health bar and put the timer above it to keep all the UI in the same area.
Fun! A tutorial would've been nice, but I like that the game doesn't punish you for losing resources, so it wasn't a bug deal to start again and figure out what to do.
Fun idea! It was definitely spooky. It was so dark that I had a really hard time seeing even when the lights were on, though.
I've seen several games that have a similar concept but where enemies spawn every 10 seconds, so I like that you did something different than that with the theme. Exploding guns is so ridiculous and hilarious
Decent concept, a bit rough around the edges, but that's what you expect from a game jam :)
So much fun! I found the instructions explaining the unplanned moves to be a little confusing, but it was really fun once I got the hang of it.
I don't usually like autobattlers, but this one was really fun! It has a nice amount of strategy involved in the set up and upgrade phases to keep me engaged in the game, and the battle sequences are fun to watch.
Simple but quite fun. I like the pixel art graphics and the audio. The mechanics were a bit confusing to me at first because I didn't realize I had to return with 100 tomatoes all at once. I thought that the tomatoes I brought back were adding up, so making that more clear in the instructions and/or in the game itself would've been helpful. Also, I noticed that sometimes the tomatoes get stuck inside the ground tiles and I think a little victory song would've been fun for the end. I really enjoyed this game though! Very polished and fun to play. Very impressive that you made this in 48 hours!
I like the concept! It would've been nice to see "echoes" or faded out versions of where the platforms of the other universe were so that I could plan my jumps better. The character's movement was also really floaty, which made platforming a little difficult since it was hard to go fast enough to get where I wanted to be before the universe switched again. It would be interesting to play this game with a couple different versions of the character's movement to see what is best suited to the game. I like how I can use the colors to tell what platforms belong to which universe and which ones stay no matter what.
What a fun little game! I really liked how it's fairly simple but it gets harder and crazier as more satellites are launched.
Aww, the kitties are so cute! I really like this game idea, but I think making each item and cat type a different color would help a lot. So many of the items and cats were gray that it made it difficult to find what to do next easily.
The overall mood with the art, storytelling, and sound was really nice. The gameplay was a little hard for me, though. It was pretty difficult to tell when I was supposed to press the keys.
Very fun! The narrator reminded me of GLaDOS from Portal. The pixel artwork was really good. The switch to 3d was a little odd to me, but the dice rolling looked nice. I really enjoyed this game!
So fun and it looks and sounds amazing! I might have missed it, but I had a hard time telling how much time I had left to deliver the carrots before a game over.
The mechanics were a bit confusing at first, but once I figured out how to play, I quite enjoyed this game. The pixel art is cute, and I liked the strategy/turn-based aspect of it. It was a little strange to me that the jellies can kill you, but I think with a few tweaks this game would be pretty cool if expanded upon.
Really fun! The pace at which new ingredients were added felt good. It would've been nice if there was a checkmark next to an ingredient in the order when you've put it on the burger so that it's easier to keep track of what I need to do next. Also, the white text for the menu and tutorial is quite hard to see against the background. The game looks great and the music goes well with it!
Wow, really cool! A mini-map would've been nice. I played through the whole game
Fun concept and simple to play. Even with the simple graphics, the game had a very foreboding tone.
Very fun! Having to charge the power-ups added a fun bit of difficulty and strategy. Art also looks really nice :)
The art is amazing! The gameplay was really fun too. I enjoyed figuring things out while also keeping an eye on the clock so I could hide. The mood is really good too, eerie and spooky. Great job!
The artwork is great and the gameplay is quite fun! I wish there was some way to see how many of each pastry I have prepared, though.
Very fun! I was a little confused that I had to take an order before I could make it even though the orders were already displayed on the screen. Maybe you could show only the current order and have some sort of indicator next to it showing how many orders are waiting to be taken? Or you could take multiple orders at once and make several coffees in a row. The art and music make a nice atmosphere.
I love the retro style! The audio matches it perfectly. I enjoyed learning how to pilot the ship. The tutorial was also really good. Very impressive!
The pig sprites are so cute! Everything had a nice retro feel to it. The controls were pretty difficult to me, though. It seemed like I needed to build up momentum to be able to jump farther, which was tough to do in such small levels. I love the concept though!
The music change when you turn into a psycho is fantastic  Scared me so bad the first time...
Fun and easy to learn how to play. I really liked the variety in the boss's movement and firing patterns.
Wow, that was fun! Even though it was tough, I found myself playing again and again to try to find the best strategy.
Really fun and simple to learn!
Fun game! The art and sound are both really nice. I enjoyed racing the clock to find and deliver the weapons before time ran out.
Like others have said, the lack of visual feedback makes it hard to determine what is happening. The tutorial was a bit off-putting since it was just a big wall of text. It would be a lot more approachable if the tutorial instead guided you through the first few turns and explained each step individually as you did that step. Also, it would've been nice if there was either a button I could press to skip the rest of the current 10 seconds or if the timer slowed back down to normal after it rolled over to the next 10 seconds.
Great work on having a finished, playable game for your first jam! A tower defense game is a fun, unique idea.
Graphics are nice, but some of the game pieces are hard to see what they are. Also, it would've been nice if the game skipped the rest of the 10 seconds when you select a piece and immediately told you if you got it right or wrong.
Pretty fun! I liked how you put in several different characters to serve, it really gives the game a nice variety. It was a little too easy for my tastes, but I still enjoyed it.
This is really great for your first jam! Fun, simple concept. Maybe put some instructions in the description? It took me several tries to figure out what I was supposed to do and how to do it.
What a creative game! The art was super cute and the gameplay was really fun. The only complaint I have is that I couldn't see where each of the vendors were while I was placing the machines, so I had to restart my game to memorize the vendor layout.
Wow, this is incredible! It's amazing that you guys made this in 72 hours. The music and graphics are so cute :)
Cool concept! I liked the somewhat goofy narrative :)
Cute graphics! I found that if I lined up all the cakes and pushed from the back, I could easily score points without any danger from the cats. I also noticed that the big yellow cakes wouldn't disappear when I pushed them off the table. I think a fun addition would be to make holes in the table or something so that the cat could get to you from anywhere. Maybe there could also be some power-ups or obstacles that could help you avoid the cat.
Simple but fun game :) I got through most of the game without any of the fruits rotting, so I let one go to see how long it would take, and I think it would be more challenging and fun if it took less time for them to go bad once they hit the ground. I liked how the tree made little comments throughout the game :)
I really like the graphics! I also like how intuitive the controls are. It would be nice if there was some sort of warning when you're on the edge of the bridge. I fell off and died multiple times before I realized what was going on.
Fun game! Like you said, it's easy to learn, but there's a lot of opportunity for depth in the gameplay. I really liked it!
Fun little game! The controls were intuitive and felt really nice, especially the way that the ship would automatically go all the way around a planet to get all the wheat if you steered it correctly. The enemies were kind of difficult to kill, but I got the hang of it after a few playthroughs. I liked the variety in sizes and designs of planets too.
I liked how each piece of fruit moved at a different speed. I also had the problem with fruit falling outside the screen boundaries. I think the graphics would look better if the fruit and basket were a bit bigger and took up more of the screen.
I love the artwork! The game is very intuitive and fun to play. I liked how each move in the forest was like its own minigame. The game was enjoyable and well polished.
I like how the game starts slow and then just goes crazy, haha. Cool idea and fun to play :) I think it might make more sense for the smaller viruses to be a higher level since they're a bit hard to click due to the jitter, which I found to be a fun added challenge to the game.
Fun little game! The animation for the wheat dying was kinda funny and took me by surprise :) I think it would be fun to have a couple more attack types, like an all-directions attack with a longer cooldown.
Cute game! I like the retro art style. I think this game would be cool if it was expanded upon and given a narrative. I also liked how there were different tile types for different areas, it helped me keep track of where I was.
Simple but fun! Dodging the attacks wasn't too hard to be frustrating, and I liked the art and animations when harvesting from the spheres.
Cute game! There wasn't really any challenge, but the cute art combined with the calming music made a nice relaxing atmosphere :)
Wow, this is really great! Even with how low-res the pixel art is, I easy understood what each tool was. The day lengths were just right, short enough to generate some urgency, but not so short that I couldn't get anything done. The audio was pretty simple and a bit boring, but the style sort of fit the game at the same time.
@frederoxdev I'm working on adding that right now :)
I like the idea, but the game was too hard for me to really enjoy it. The controls were quite sluggish and made me think that there was a bug that kept my ship from moving at first. However, I think the concept is really cool and would be pretty fun if the ship was a little easier to maneuver. I also liked the radar screen in the corner that helped with finding the enemies.
Cute little game! It looked like it would be easy at first, but once all the vegetables started falling, it got enjoyably hectic. I liked how I just had to get a certain amount of each vegetable instead of trying to get every vegetable, that made it a lot less stressful. The fact that some bins were closer to the top of the screen than others also made the gameplay more interesting.
Cute game! It was a bit difficult, but I liked how I had to try to keep a balance between staying close enough to the harvester to eat the grain, but not so close that I lost.
I like the idea! The dragging was a bit too slow, which made completing the levels a bit tedious sometimes. Also, on the orchestra level, if I accidentally slammed one item into another, they would get stuck, which seemed like a bug. The sound effects for each item were fun :)
That was fun! I wish there were a few more black check mark tasks and that they were a bit more spread out, but I enjoyed the game.
Really fun game! I was a bit confused at first about how to rotate the machines, but everything else was pretty easy to understand. The difficulty curve and the rate at which new mechanics were introduced was also good. Found a couple weird things though: if you press start delivery while in build mode, it starts the music for it, but delivery doesn't actually begin until you manually exit build mode. Also, when you destroy a machine and then exit build mode, the bomb icon still remains next to the mouse cursor.
It's interesting to see a game with assets made by AI! I ran into a couple bugs though. The sprite stacking looked a bit weird since the player character couldn't walk behind objects (visually). Also, there were a couple of times I tried to click on a character, but the player character didn't walk over to them to talk to them.
The art looks really nice, like an old map! It was fun to roam around and try to remember where each town was. Simple but nicely polished!
Cute game! I wish the UI was a little more polished looking. I really like that there's a tutorial and that the controls are shown onscreen. The art style is also fun :)
Cute graphics. I also had problems with the colliders, but I noticed that when I walked away from the building into the street and then came back, it would detect it. However, if I stayed on the sidewalk (for example, walking from the mill to the post office), that's when I would have issues.
I think the game would be more fun without the green arrows, so the player would have to find the locations on their own. Also, a shop to spend one's earnings might be nice.
I can't figure out how to play... No matter where I try to cut, the screen immediately turns red gives me a message about how the cut was terrible.
Interesting game! I enjoyed seeing what the shopkeeper would say about each item I brought. I didn't realize that I could die in the game (I think there's an air gauge?), so some instructions on that would help. Nice entry!
Seems like a cool foundation for a game! Would be more fun if there were more things to build. It might just be me, but the right click to break things felt a bit unintuitive. I think it would've been better if breaking things was an option in the toolbar. Graphics are cute!
Wow, this was great! The story really pulled me in. I also had a hard time finding my way out of the bedroom the first time, but after that, I didn't have much trouble with navigation. The music went really well with the story, and the doorbell ringing over and over again helped build the suspense.
Fun game! It's simple to learn and has a nice difficulty curve. I just wish there was some sort of sound effect when the sorting mode changed.
Pretty fun! The controls were a bit difficult to work with, though. Sometimes when I would try to go forwards, it would go backwards, and vice versa. Other than that, I like it!
Took me a little while to get the hang of it, but I really enjoyed this game! The planets look really cool and it was fun trying to time letting go of a planet perfectly. During one of my early playthroughs, I ended up catapulting myself into deep space, so maybe add some way to end the game in that case?
Fun game! Love the artwork and audio :)
Graphics look amazing! Would've loved some music. The game was difficult, but the controls felt nice even on a keyboard.
@oscarglo @charlieorange07 @stefan-funke Thanks for the feedback! I really like how this game turned out, so I'm planning on making more levels after the jam.
@aviv-levy @poshdan Thanks for letting me know about the bug and the difficulty spike! I'll be sure to fix those in the post-jam version
Fun game! The level design was really great. I liked how the doors would only open one direction, but it took me a little while to realize that, so I think adding some instructions explaining that would help.
Fun idea! The speed of the car and how fast it turned made it a little too difficult to control (at least for me, haha)
I like the retro aesthetic! Gameplay was simple but fun. I would've liked to get some sort of power up or reward between waves, or some way to trade souls delivered for health. Great entry overall!
Funny game! I got bored pretty fast though.
