This has a nice haunting atmosphere, and the death animation is pretty sweet.
Thanks Iefyo! I'm fixing and updating the builds now.
Hey, thank you @Ulydev! That will definitely make distributing love2d games on web a lot easier.
Thanks for playing and feedback @Traf d-Lo! The death count tracks the player deaths, the wording might be too ambiguous. I did the web version with love.js, but love.ulydev.com should be a great way do it too. :)
@pokenoufl I might keep working on it later. It shouldn't be too difficult to add levels now that I have the basic framework done.
Sure, @steph88. And thanks for the feedback!
Thanks for the feedback @MarekkPie! I'll keep those in mind when doing polishing.
@Geared Games Thanks for playing! I planned a pacifist ending too, where you don't pick up any weapons, jump in the mouth of the monster and get eaten. Unfortunately I didn't have time to implement it in the game. :D
@Seizar Seems like my evil plan of getting the player to kill that innocent little dog worked!
Really nice atmosphere! The simple soundtrack fits the game well. Is there multiple endings to this game?
It's a bit hard game, maybe because the block meter depletes so quickly. I never got through stage 5. The player graphics remind me of old retro adventure games.
Using the crane to stack things was harder than I anticipated, but fun nonetheless. Great job!
I like the visuals a lot. The difficulty ramps up nicely too, so one game doesn't take too long.
The letter boxes look right on chrome, but on firefox they are just lines, like there's zero height on the input box. Not sure if it's just on my end.
Great idea of crowdsourcing the glyphs, though!
Nice work! The bloom effect looks really good. The last levels were pretty challenging too.
I got a couple of glitches with the light rays on the web version, but nothing major.
The screen shake and darkness made it a bit hard to see the enemies. Otherwise it worked fine for me. Unfortunately I couldn't save Jared in the end.
Nice job of remaking (demaking?) NMS in very retro atari-like graphics! The game runs smooth too.
Nice! I like the walking animations and interactions between things.
I won it after a few tries. The length is pretty good, though the intro could be a bit shorter for repeated attempts.
Awesome job on the visuals! The colour palette looks great and the parallaxing effect scrolls smoothly. :)
The visuals are very clear and easy to look at, and I didn't find any problems with the gameplay either. Very solid entry, nice job!
I like the visuals! A coloured web of phone lines looks nice.
Great job! It was really nice piecing together the background story from the items.
The floppy disk looked a bit weird for me when inserted in the pc on the web version.
I liked it a lot. Especially the money graph at the end. It's really interesting to watch afterwards how the score went up and down as the game progressed. :)
I really like this idea! The time limit makes exploration interesting, having to make multiple trips before figuring out how to get the bones.
I love the twist on the second part, such a great idea!
Nice! The time limit makes it a bit tricky to execute the puzzle in time, after figuring out what to do, but not impossible.
I love it! The art is beautiful, and navigating the penguin politics was really fun.
I like it! Fun gameplay and the traffic lights add a nice layer of strategy to evading the police.
