Great concept and gameplay..
But later in game the timer is tick down too fast for me to response, also I found that 1 connection can be called AND calling somebody else. :)

hey thanks for playing!, yeah, thats known bug, buat occur veeeery rarely tho in my time of playing/test
i'll fix it ASAP, but not really today tho >.<
Very nice! A couple of times, I couldn't seem to get the second line to respond to my mouse-click to pick it up but might just be me. Nice sound/atmosphere too.
Pretty fun! I think some sort of random events would add a lot. They don't even have to be gameplay, just your boss harassing you would be great.
Interessting game. Had quite fun for a few tries.
Only thing I noticed was, that I can reuse the same cables for every new connection (without them timing out before)... just leads to a bit of weirdness later in the game :D )
I like the visuals! A coloured web of phone lines looks nice.
Really like the idea and the visuals. Well done! Feels like a good limited size of a game.
Only thing I have is that "collision boxes" for holes sometimes felt a little off. Had to drag same cable to 2B 4 times before it connected (and then it was way to the left)
Nice, it reminds me work in tv station.
It reminds me of old computer systems.
I got 276 points! :D
I can't exactly think of anything wrong with the game. It would make a great mobile game. It's just not super interesting compared to other games.
The 3d effect is very cool looking, and this is a pretty well detailed game for how quickly it was made. The boss is a nice touch. Had one time where I had to make a connection (it was 3M) and it seemed like it wouldn't let me but maybe I did something wrong.
Hey Guys!, thanks for the awesome feedback and comment, very much appreciated
and @ReboundGames , @SetTheBet , i can confirm that its a bug, its not that you can't put it, its just not in the center of it,you need to fiddle the pin a bit at the plug slot area, i'll fix it ASAP
Cool. I second the comment about this working well as a mobile game.
It brings me back to the old days of patching synthesizers.
That would be an awesome bonus stage!
221 points! :)
Cool theme, well-implemented, nice style.
very interesting theme! love it
Great concept with fantastic execution!
Great idea and execution.
I did run into a bug I think, where I couldn't plug things in, I fiddled around at the target and couldn't get it to go :/. It happened a couple times.
Would be good if the difficulty ramped up a bit faster. It starts at a good pace but takes a while to get going.
Original and fun game!
I haven't played the tytorial and still understood everything.
Easy, fun, challenging. I like it!
307 ! Really liked this game ^^ Awesome Work its lots of fun ~
Cool concept. Gets hectic pretty quickly, and it's fun to try to juggle all the different switches as the pace ramps up.
I like it. Interesting concept and well implemented
Y'all are a bunch slackers! 720 points!
Ok yeah that was a ton of fun. The little rhythm going while you were operating was hypnotic, and the pace started getting crazy hectic. Only complaint is that there were a lot of spelling/grammar errors. Didn't check if you're a native English speaker though.
The mechanics is simple and dealing with a lot of things at once is surprisingly fun. Well done! I would love to see multiple lines need to be connected, currently it seems only one line need to be connected at a time. The count down was a bit confusing at first I didn't realize i have to reset before the count down finishes and the tutorial didn't explain that very well. Overall, it is a fun and challenging game. Love to see more levels and varieties
This is definitely ancient tech haha. I really liked it. Simple art style, and it fit nicely. Oddly satisfying. Sometimes it was a bit hard to plug the lines in though, it just wouldn't work half the time. They would just drop.
Surprisingly fun! The graphics could stand to be a bit better, as well as the audio, but the actual gameplay is very entertaining; especially for something with the format of Ludum Dare (best suited to quick, easy to learn, quick to finish games).
what is it?
Interesting gameplay. As a 2000s baby, I only had a vague idea as to how telephone operators worked. This was definitely an eye-opener.
One thing you could consider doing is making the controls like those of Surgeon Simulator (thus making it much harder to control).
very nice implemation of the theme! and relly a very cool game even tough i am not much of a person who likes the kind of stressfull games.
hey guys, thanks for playing and the feedback!, awesome to hear lot of stuff about the game from you guys :D
@KevKevOnFire i'm not , from Asia (spesifically indonesia) here, still learning english, sorry for the grammar error :D
@hirund0 its an old/ancient telephone system, back then on 50s-80's i think, they still use human powered operator to reroute the call
@peterthehe, thanks!, as 90's baby i also didnt know about this stuff :D, just randomly pop up the idea when brainstorming, and the resource of this stuff is very scarce and limited, good thing i found a youtube video that show how its work, you can watch it here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9t0LRBqC8c
Really like this one!
The way it steadily builds up pressure makes for great gameplay.
Sadly, the "occupied number" bug keeps on throwing me out. Would definitely enjoy a brushed-up mobile version!
I got a bit confused but still had a lot of fun playing it, Seems like it would be great to have on a tablet
@colapolka i already tried and released the fix version of it...huh, probably its not completely fixed yet, welp, back to the editor then, thanks for the feedback :D
Nice idea and cool art style! Kind of addictive despite being very simple.
I think there's a bug though. Sometimes when I want to connect the second pin, it won't let me, even though I'm clicking on the right slot and then I can't release the pin anymore
Awesome game! I really got into the process and the system. Could maybe be developed into some kind of Papers Please affair.
Regardless, well done. Very complete experience.
Nice simple little game, especially when I found that you could just press the button down the bottom to reset... apparently I am a little slow...
I found that later in the game that the timer had reduced to a point where I could not get the switches to the correct board in time.
Very solid game, good narrative and interesting mechanic. Sound is great too.
A really interesting idea, and the pressure really mounts over time!
Interesting game, though the controls seem to be a bit wonky, I kept trying to remove plugs and it refused to let me.
Still really unique concept that fits the theme perfectly
@Ilseroth thanks for the feedback, the bug already fixed now!, please try it again :D
@colapolka that also already fixed now...well at least hopefully, please try it again, and leave feedback if the bug still persist :D
The idea is good and I love the graphics but, In my opinion It's getting a bit boring after a while. But overall that's a great game.
That was awesome. I didn't even read the description but picked it up really fast. Rock solid and simple UI with solid gameplay. I would love it if it was broken up into days with high and low traffic times. Earn money each day for the score. Maybe earn promotions and get progressively larger boards to manage.
@pogo575 ....that was awesome idea dude, can guarantee but i probably will work this up much further, if its possible i'm planning to make it into an android game, but with how many plug that needed, i pretty much doubt it
This is an original game. You deserve a high five because you are one of the few adding a tutorial.
I find that your game ends up not being too much challenging after some tries, so I would add some hard mode.
Pretty good game! I thought it would be really complex, but it turned out to be easy to understand and hard to master. And the difficulty ramped up just nice as well. Good job!
It was quite fun, I understood it, I think you did better than most people in the way that you included a tutorial, It could be made even better by increasing the difficulty just enough that you can accomplish it yet just enough that it's a challenge
Fantastic game, love the whole idea! You really get the feeling of being a telephone operator. I just thought it was a bit too easy overall, but maybe I didn't play enough. The graphics and sound effects are also good :)
Very fun, feel like the difficulty could be ramped up faster. It's also not super clear why you're losing hearts. Beyond that though really unique.
@joemag i indeed should make it a bit clear on the tutorial, the heart goes down if you miss the timer, theres 2 timer here
first is the general timer when the call first came and when it asked for the receiver
second is reset timer, when the caller already done makes the call

Well, I think it is nice idea. Didn't need a tutorial even :)
I think if red light near the port will be blinking - it would be easier to find it, especially with many connections.
I liked the game but didn't quite understand the tutorial.
@killthealias noice, someone haven the same idea as mine hahah, his/her looking much more polished tho xD
that was nice, i got up to 74, i guess im just too slow to go over that :)
and i also found the tutorial a bit awkward so i just skipped and played the game.
it was nice i must say. everything in it blends together peacefully
This game fit well with the theme ;)
The 8-bit music in menu is nice, it give an old school design with your graphics. Your graphics are very nice. Compared to mine, your game has a reflexion side that is very interesting. Actually your game is more realistic than mine so great job ! Maybe there is a lack of sounds and music in game. But the little music that begins when we connect two people is very effective, the stress go up as the time passes away. I like the animation with the boss :p.
Great games i like it good works
Nice idea and good use of the theme :) Everything works nicely and it make a complete game so overall not much to complain about. Difficulty could ramp up a bit quicker maybe but that's just my personal preference.
Simple, well made game! I included it in my compilation video series of Ludum Dare 36 games, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/ZS5h_OweR3s
i'm guessing you're also from indonesia when i saw that "kurang tidur", and apparently i'm right <3
i'in for about 200 or 300, but the level flow could be made to be more interesting by balancing the timing and positioning more. cool idea and implementation though, all elements are there too (sound effect, music that makes you feel you have to rush)!
@Maxi and The Gang haha, thanks for the comment, i'm the one who ask "anyone doing LD 36 ?", at gamedevid FB group :d
Sorry for not returning your comment earlier; it seems chrome doesn't support WebGL >.>
Anyway, the game's pretty simple and fun! juggling between lines and switches feels pretty fun and, later in the game, pretty hectic. The visuals, while pretty simple, is aestheticly pleasing.
Overall, a pretty well-made game! good job
Wow, had to scroll a long way down to comment on this game :) A very addictive game, but I almost wanted a zen mode where you could just switch switches all day without worrying about losing lives! Then again, I'm a sucker for switchy games.
looks sweet, would like to see you work on it further even though ludum dare is over, I think it has a lot of potential. Could also use an escape command to quit the game.
Really nice concept, It's just a shame that it's really hard to click the connector, nice job!
I wouldn't thought making a game about switching telephone wires in a million years. The game is really intuitive. The sounds kinda help very much
~532 points, I never thought operators job was that hard.
@Terrabalt weird...its working fine on my side, welp, thanks for the comment! :D
@wilsk might be implemented in the future ;), with some other game modes
@monkeybit29 yeah, that something somehow i miss when make it, the way to quit the game lol, sorry i miss your livestream :D
@LittleDoomDevs thanks for the good word :D
@Volcanic Giraffe yep, me neither before researching this theme :D
Good idea and great interpretation of the theme, well done!
Good small game! Without flaws or bugs but also without some catchy game mechanics.
Very complete! Nice consistent graphics, good interpretation of the theme, and a very tense an atmosphere. Good job!
Great idea and the game was well done, although it feels a bit repetitive after some time. Definitely ancient tech!
Really fun. Great idea. Good pixelly art. The game mechanics were very game-y. Loved the boss. I think I would have included some kind of background music - like hold music. But it was fine without it. It's very Arcade-like, so maybe it needs a high scores board.
Good job.
Really liked this game, very original! My high score is 480 :)
The game was fun and easy to pick up. Only suggestion I that have is that having the lights blink might make it easier. Good job overall!
Nice game (my score: 316). Nice music. I like "retro style".
Fun work, full immersive retro game.
